Town Manager John McDonald just called me and informed me he cannot get to a computer at this time but asks the residents of Fruitland to please follow the same guidelines that the City of Salisbury recently released.
STAY OFF THE ROADS, he said. He went on to say it's a complete mess out there.

My wife just called and said some of the girls from work tryed to make it home and the police and fireman stopped them and brought them back to work. This stuff is dangerous. Stay off the roads.
I have the scanner on. Roads are getting to the point of not being able to get down. Please stay off the road people for your safety and for those with the police depts and fire depts.

was this on rt 13 that they where stopped?
So does that mean Fruitland emergency operations have gone into effect also?
In other words, "I don't have a clue what to do so just follow what everybody else does."
