You Just Can't Make This Stuff Up

Venezuela first lady's nephews 'confessed' in drug case

Two nephews of Venezuela's first lady confessed to conspiring to import cocaine into the US after being arrested last year, court filings by US prosecutors on Friday said.

Efrain Campo, 29, and Francisco Flores, 30, were arrested in Haiti in November and put on a plane to New York where they are in jail awaiting trial.

Both men have pleaded not guilty.

Their lawyers have argued that their post-arrest statements made during the flight to the US should be suppressed.

They say the defendants did not fully understand their rights under US law to remain silent.

Delaware DUI checkpoint results announced

DOVER — Aiming to reduce DUI-related crashes and fatalities, authorities said, police conducted large-scale checkpoints last Friday night at five locations throughout Delaware.

The Office of Highway Safety initiative includes more than 100 law enforcement officers sworn in this month for multi-jurisdictional capabilities. So far this year, there have been more than 12 fatalities attributed to impaired driving, according to the OHS.

Last week’s operation ran from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.; locations included:

• Del. 92 and Ballymeade Drive, north Wilmington.

• U.S. 40, Bear.

• Del. 10 near South State Street, Dover.

• U.S. 13 and Middleford Road, Seaford

• Del. 1 northbound and Church Street, Rehoboth Beach.

“DUI checkpoints have been shown to lower DUI deaths and injuries,” OHS Director Jana Simpler said in a news release.

“A major component of these checkpoints is the deterrent effects it has on those who might drive drunk or drugged impaired, bringing about more awareness and encouraging everyone to use sober designated drivers.”

Sanders renews demand for Wasserman Schultz's ouster

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has renewed his calls for the current Democratic National Committee chairwoman to resign in the wake of leaked DNC emails that reveal top party officials had actively worked against him in the primary process.

"I asked and demanded Debbie Wasserman Schultz' resignation many, many months ago and I state that again," the 74-year-old socialist told CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday.

"I don't think she is qualified to be the chair of the DNC, not only for these awful emails, which revealed the prejudice against me, but also because we need a party that reaches out to working people and young people, and I don't think her leadership style is doing that," Sanders added.

New DNC Interim Chair In Leaked Emails: ‘I Will Cuss Out The Sanders Camp!’

The new interim chair of the Democratic National Committee, Donna Brazile, is no fan of the Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign, a leaked email shows.

Brazile was emailed on May 13 by a Washington Post reporter to comment on the “fight between the Sanders camp and DNC over adequate representation on the platform committee and others ahead of the convention.”

Brazile then forwarded the press inquiry to DNC officials and wrote, “I have no intentions of touching this. Why? Because I will cuss out the Sanders camp!”

Mystery Surrounds Sources of Many Bill Clinton Speaking Fees

Small foreign speaking firms often listed as source of payments, actual paychecks came from undisclosed third parties

By all accounts, it was the most popular gala the Lady Taverners had ever held. Over 1,000 people packed the Park Lane Hilton in London on Oct. 30, 2009, with the crowd overflowing into the hallways, to listen to President Bill Clinton speak on the power of giving.

While Clinton’s speech helped raise a substantial sum for the prominent cricket charity, his staggering $290,000 speaking fee was not covered by the group, according to organizers. The fee also was not covered by “World Management Limited,” the marketing company Hillary Clinton listed as the payment source in her federal financial filings.

It was bankrolled by a wealthy British businessman named Robert Whitton—a name you won’t find included in the Clintons’ public disclosure forms.

A review by the Washington Free Beacon found that Hillary Clinton often listed small foreign speaking firms as the sources of her husband’s lecture payments in her Senate and State Department disclosures, even though the actual paychecks came from undisclosed third parties.

In certain cases, these funders had interests that intersected with the U.S. State Department. Whitton, a real estate mogul, had business pending before UNESCO, an international agency that received a quarter of its funding from the State Department.

Indianapolis Man Shoots Himself In Face For Music Video

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A Indianapolis man took to Facebook and shot himself in the cheek—just for fun.

The video, which has been shared more than 14,000 times on Facebook, shows the aftermath of the gunshot and the shooter, Kasper Knight doesn’t even seem phased. If fact, he says on a pain scale it was just 4 out of 10.

“I’ve been shot a couple times before and this was like a 4 out of 10 on the pain scale after the initial impact.”

Explaining why he was shot Knight says, “I actually wanted to put this in a music video/ but no cameraman wanted to film it. So I did it myself since I felt like taking a bullet to the face”

Top Clinton Lobbyist Bundlers Tied to Foreign Banks, Governments Firms represent Saudi Arabian, Russian, Turkish, Mexican, and Japanese interests

A number of Hillary Clinton’s top lobbyist bundlers, who have raised millions for her presidential campaign, either directly represent foreign entities or work at firms that represent foreign entities, according to documents from the Justice Department’s Foreign Agents Registration Unit.

Hillary for America, Clinton’s campaign committee, has hauled in more than $7 million in bundled lobbyist contributions since its inception. The committee finished2015 with $4.1 million in bundled lobbyist contributions. It has since added more than $2.9 million to its coffers from lobbyists, with $1.2 million of that amount pouring in during the second quarter of 2016, from April 1 to June 30.

Tony Podesta, owner of the Podesta Group and brother of John Podesta, the chairman of Clinton’s campaign, is a top bundler for Hillary for America. Podesta has bundled $267,835 in contributions to date. Podesta was hired to work on behalf of Saudi interests.
Saudi Arabia has built an extensive lobbying and public relations presence in the United States, theWashington Post reported in April. It has also supplied the Clinton Foundation with millions. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given between $10 and $25 million to the foundation while Friends of Saudi Arabia has contributed between $1 and $5 million.

Federal long-term care premiums rising by triple digits

It’s not quite Christmas in July, but Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program members are getting an early look at coverage options and premium hikes.

Beginning July 18, FLTCIP members can access their offer package online and view new premium rates, which the Office of Personnel Management said will range from 0-126 percent.

The increase is due to longer life expectancies, the lower rate of return of the investment in the trust fund of premiums, and basic inflationary increases.

“We understand that a premium increase may not be affordable for some. This is why we are offering enrollees personalized options to help reduce the impact of the premium increase,” said Joan Melanson, director of promotion for FLTCIP. “John Hancock [Life & Health Insurance company] proposed significantly higher premiums because recent analysis of the program, using updated assumptions based on identified trends and actual claims experience, indicated that the current FLTCIP premiums would not be sufficient to meet the future, projected costs of the benefits.”

DNC Chair Won't Speak at Dem Convention Following Wikileaks Fallout

(CNN)The head of the Democratic National Committee will not speak at the party's convention this week, a decision reached by party officials Saturday after emails surfaced that raised questions about the committee's impartiality during the Democratic primary.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whose stewardship of the DNC has been under fire through most of the presidential primary process, will not have a major speaking role in an effort "to keep the peace" in the party, a Democrat familiar with the decision said. The revelation comes following the release of nearly 20,000 emails.
One email appears to show DNC staffers asking how they can reference Bernie Sanders' faith to weaken him in the eyes of Southern voters. Another seems to depict an attorney advising the committee on how to defend Hillary Clinton against an accusation by the Sanders campaign of not living up to a joint fundraising agreement.

Wasserman Schultz is expected to gavel the convention in and out, but not speak in the wake of the controversy surrounding the leaked emails, a top Democrat said.

"She's been quarantined," another top Democrat said, following a meeting Saturday night.

This is seen as a concession to Sanders, who has been furious at Wasserman Schultz for what he believed was favoritism to Clinton.
The Democrat familiar with the decision said it was done in hopes of preventing chaos on the convention floor among Sanders supporters.

The decision was blessed by Clinton and Sanders officials, this Democrat said.

Verizon said to be buyer of Yahoo for $5 billion: Reports

Verizon has agreed to buy online portal Yahoo Inc. for roughly $5 billion, according to multiple media reports, each citing a single unnamed source.

The deal is expected to be announced formally on Monday before markets open, the reports said.

Verizon had emerged in recent days as the front-runner for the beleaguered internet company. Yahoo is expected to sell its email service and news, finance and sports websites in addition to its advertising tools under pressure from shareholders fed up with a downturn in the company’s revenue during the past eight years.

The deal is likely to end the four-year reign of Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, a former Google executive who flopped in her attempts to turn around the Sunnyvale, California, company.

Yahoo has been in a long, deep slump even as advertisers have been pouring more money into what is now a $160 billion market for digital advertising, according to research firm eMarketer.

Internal DNC Emails Confirm Breitbart Reporting: Dems 2016 Voter Turnout Tanked

Emails traded between staffers at the Democratic National Committee confirmed the April 26 Breitbart News article that pointed out that Democratic voter turnout in the primaries was way off compared to the 2008 primaries.

“Do we have any helpful turnout numbers yet? Fox Business cited this Breitbart article that posted yesterday,” asked Mark Paustenbach, the DNC’s deputy communications director inan email.

The Breitbart article pointed out:”Election data compiled by Breitbart News on the Democratic Party’s primaries and caucuses in 2016 and 2008 show that turnout in is down significantly, nearly 20 percent, from the last contested election. The data also show that the about 4.5 million fewer people have voted in the Democratic presidential contest this year versus 2008.”

The Trump Family Just Surpassed The Kardashians For Most Searched Family On Google

The Trump family surpassed the Kardashians to become the most searched family in America, Google trends revealed this week.

After Melania, Ivanka, Donald Jr., Eric and Tiffany Trump all spoke at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the Trump family was widely searched online.

The Republican nominee’s family beat the Kardashians 100 to 20 in interest over time.

People in Washington, D.C., Chicago and New York were searching for “Donald Trump family,” “The Trump family” and “Trump and Family.”

Health Officials Confirm Rabid Fox

(Salisbury, MD) – Health officials in Wicomico County have confirmed that a fox has tested positive for rabies. The fox was observed acting aggressively on Jones Hastings Road in Parsonsburg on July 20, 2016. If you or your pets are thought to have had contact with this fox, you are urged to contact the Health Department at 410-546-4446, or 410-543-6996 after business hours.

Only you can protect your family and pets from the deadly rabies virus. For more information, please call the Wicomico County Health Department, Environmental Health Division at 410-546-4446 or visit

To reduce the risk of rabies exposure:

· Vaccinate pets. Maryland law requires all dogs and cats over four months of age to be vaccinated against rabies. This is the most successful method of preventing the rabies virus.

· Refrain from feeding feral cats and wild animals and remove all food outside sources.

All animal bites or scratches should be reported to the Wicomico County Health Department at 410-546-4446 during business hours or 410-543-6996 after hours.

Experimental treatments seek to stem rising tide of food allergies

For Amy Schwabe and her daughter, Alex, candy can be scary.

Alex is one of 15 million Americans who suffer from food allergies. In her case, eggs and peanuts must be strictly avoided to prevent a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. Even things like M&Ms, which don't actually contain peanuts, are a threat because they are produced in a facility that also uses peanuts.

"We can never just go to a bakery or grab doughnuts," said Schwabe, who also writes the Milwaukee Allergy Mom blog, "and going to a baseball game is terrifying."

Based on recent numbers, doctors expect 4.1 million children to develop a food allergy this year.

Ninety percent of cases will be to eight allergens: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, fish and shellfish.

Gansler Says He's Being Asked To Run For Maryland Governor

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Former attorney general Doug Gansler says he's being asked to consider running against Republican Gov. Larry Hogan in 2018.

Gansler tells The Baltimore Sun ( ) he's being asked to run "pretty much every day." Gansler says Democrats are "looking around for the most viable candidate to beat the governor."

Gansler says he isn't ruling out another run for public office. But he says he's not currently organizing a campaign.

Gansler was defeated in the 2014 Democratic primary for governor by then-Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown. Brown lost to Hogan and is now running for a congressional seat in Prince George's County.

'Angel Moms' Who Lost Children to Illegal Alien Crimes to Hold Event at Wall Surrounding Paul Ryan’s Home

JANESVILLE, WI – On Saturday, American mothers who have buried their children as a result of illegal alien crime will be holding a press conference in front of Paul Ryan’s personal border wall that protects his family and his estate.

These “angel moms” say that Ryan has ignored the American families that have been torn apart by open borders for too long.

The press event is being organized by both the Remembrance Project—a non-profit that represents the victims of illegal alien crime and advocates for border security— and Wisconsin businessman, Paul Nehlen, who is running to unseat Ryan in Wisconsin’s August 9th primary.

Sharpton, Holder, McKesson Served Race War Lawsuit

Black Lives Matter advocates have been served with a lawsuit accusing them of inciting a race war, but defendant Al Sharpton says he has tried to preach a message of peace between blacks, whites and police officers.

“There is substantial public record of me denouncing violence, a race war, and even supporting police,” Sharpton told the Daily Caller Wednesday. “I have even been giving money to police killed by violence.”

He was referring to the 2015 shooting death of Harlem police officer Rudolph Holder. A year earlier, two New York City officers were gunned down as they sat in their patrol car eating lunch by an assailant who said on Instagram he was seeking revenge for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner at the hands of police.

JUST IN: Baltimore Mayor to Gavel DNC Convention Amid Party Chair’s Resignation

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Outgoing Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman says she won’t gavel her party’s national convention to order on Monday afternoon.

She abruptly cancelled that plan just a few hours before she was to gavel open the nominating convention. In a brief phone conversation with the Sun Sentinel newspaper of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Wasserman Schultz said:

“I have decided that in the interest of making sure that we can start the Democratic convention on a high note that I am not going to gavel in the convention.”

The Florida congresswoman had announced she would resign her post at the helm of the DNC in the wake of an email scandal involving her aides — but still gavel open and closed the Democrats’ nominating convention this week. That was before she was booed and heckled as she spoke to her home state delegation from people angry that the hacked emails apparently showed some aides favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the party’s presidential primary.

Montgomery & Howard County Police Will Review Nero, Goodson & Rice

Three Baltimore police officers cleared of criminal charges in the death of Freddie Gray now face internal administrative reviews.

The Baltimore Sun reports that Montgomery County police are leading investigations to determine whether Lt. Brian Rice and Officers Caesar Goodson Jr. and Edward Nero broke department rules when they arrested Gray and transported him in a police van last year.

Montgomery County officers are being assisted by Howard County police with the reviews. Internal investigations into the conduct of the other officers will begin after their trials conclude.

Baltimore police commissioner Kevin Davis will decide whether to discipline the officers based on what the outside agencies conclude.

So far, trials for four of the six officers charged in Freddie Gray's death have led to three acquittals and a mistrial.

After Debbie, now it’s PELOSI’S turn

This is going to be a GREAT show at the Democrat convention in Philadelphia this week. Establishment Democrats in the tank for Hillary Clinton are getting Ted Cruzed all OVER the place. Earlier today, it was Debbie Wasserman Schultz, booed off the podium by the Florida delegation.

Real Clear Politics reports, Bernie Sanders supporters booed and jeered at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi during a California delegation breakfast meeting on Monday. They chanted, “Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!” while she spoke about Hillary Clinton.

An opposing chant of, “Hillary! Hillary! Hillary!” briefly returned fire before being overwhelmed by Sanders supporters.

Hillary Clinton Slammed By Police Union For DNC Invite List

A Philadelphia police union slammed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton Wednesday for inviting the families of black people recently killed by cops.

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) is scheduled to be held next week in Philadelphia. Clinton has invited “Mothers of the Movement” to speak at the second night of the convention. The group consists of the mothers of black men recently killed by police. The Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) said the choice to invite the group was an insult to police.

“[We’re] shocked and saddened by the planned choice of speakers at the upcoming DNC in Philadelphia,” FOP President John McNesby said in a statement. “The Fraternal Order of Police is insulted and will not soon forget that the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton are excluding the widows, and other family members of Police Officers killed in the line of duty who were victims of explicit, and not implied racism.”

FBI probing DNC hack

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has launched a probe into the hacking of the Democratic National Committee's emails, the bureau announced Monday.

"The FBI is investigating a cyber intrusion involving the DNC and are working to determine the nature and scope of the matter," the agency said in a statement. "A compromise of this nature is something we take very seriously, and the FBI will continue to investigate and hold accountable those who pose a threat in cyberspace."

The publication of the approximately 20,000 emails showed a DNC favorable to Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders, leading Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to announce her resignation on Sunday, effective at the end of the party's convention this week.

COLLEGE PARK – Throughout the 2016 primaries, national figures like presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders enthralled primary voters with hardline ideological positions.

But Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan took another approach — a form of moderate populism with bipartisan appeal.

In order to gain support in a strongly blue state — the second-most Democratic state in the nation, according to a 2015 Gallup poll — Republican Hogan has centered his efforts on fiscal policies while staying away from social issues.

With Trump poised to accept the Republican Party’s nomination for president this week, he could take a page from Hogan’s play book if he wants to gain some cross-party appeal in the general election race. Or it could be a party lesson for 2020, should he lose to presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in November.

Todd Eberly, an associate professor of political science and public policy at St. Mary’s College, said Hogan is potentially providing a winning model for the GOP in the 2020 general election if Trump — who has a 60 percent unfavorable rating according to the Real Clear Politics aggregate of polls — loses.

Dish Network Loses Record-Setting 281,000 Subscribers

Dish Network Corp. lost a record number of TV subscribers in the second quarter as programming blackouts and price increases drove customers to seek cheaper online alternatives, reviving industrywide concerns about “cord-cutting.”

Dish shed 281,000 pay-TV customers in the quarter, compared with a loss of 81,000 a year earlier, according to a statement from the Englewood, Colorado-based company Thursday. That marks the biggest loss of TV subscribers in any quarter. The rate of monthly customer defections, or churn, rose to 1.96 percent from 1.71 percent a year earlier, Dish said in a separate filing.

$1 Billion Medicare Fraud Scheme Thwarted

Three people were charged in a $1 billion Medicare fraud and money laundering scheme that federal authorities called “the largest single criminal health care fraud case ever,” the Department of Justice announced Friday.

“The owner of more than 30 Miami-area skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, a hospital administrator and a physician’s assistant were charged with conspiracy, obstruction, money laundering and health care fraud in connection with a $1 billion scheme,” a Justice Department statement said.

“This is the largest single criminal health care fraud case ever brought against individuals by the Department of Justice,” Assistant Attorney General Leslie R. Caldwell said in a statement.

McAuliffe Really Wants Felons To Vote

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe has vowed to individually sign 13,000 clemency orders allowing ex-cons to vote, after the Virginia Supreme Court invalidated his executive order restoring voting rights to nearly 200,000 Virginia convicts.

“The men and women whose voting rights were restored by my executive action should not be alarmed,” the governor said in a statement. “I will expeditiously sign nearly 13,000 individual orders to restore the fundamental rights of the citizens who have had their rights restored and registered to vote. And I will continue to sign orders until I have completed restoration for all 200,000 Virginians.”

Cop Deaths Double in 2016, Amid Obama's Anti-Cop Rhetoric

The number of police officers killed by gunfire on duty has doubled this year, even as President Barack Obama hinted racism on the part of state and local police officers may contribute to the deaths of African-American civilians during stressful confrontations.

So far, 32 cops and correctional officers have been killed by gunfire in 2016. The deaths include at least eight killed in military-style attacks by African-American political radicals.

That’s up from a total of 16 dead in 2015, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page. The site tracks police and correctional officers killed in routine crime, accidents, and in ambush-style quasi-military attacks, such as the July 7 killing of five cops in Dallas.

Cruz Conspiracy

By Thornton Crowe

Oswald & Cruz circa 1963
Remember when everyone in the Media  laughed at Donald Trump and the National Enquirer about the whole Cruz story about his dad being in cahoots with Lee Harvey Oswald back around the time when John F. Kennedy, Jr. was assassinated?

There were even pictures and video footage of Rafael Cruz circulating throughout the Twitterverse and other social media outlets, showing him passing out flyers along side Oswald in Louisiana and Texas. Everyone claimed it was just a straw-grasp!

When this story broke, Hillary Clinton and company laughed it off as some hoax on Trump's part to defame his opponent. (Fancy that, she never does that to her opponents. See Fake Trump Craig's List Advert in other post here on Salisbury News.) In fact, she poked fun at Trump's  claim that he got from the 'rag' in many rallies and speeches.

Well, interestingly enough, it seems they were not unfamiliar  about the connection as seen in this email. Last night during a his newscast, even Bret Baier commented about the story/email on his Fox News Special Edition at the DNC Convention. Seems this news tidbit may pick up heat but not necessarily for Cruz.

Luis Miranda, DNC's Communications Director, didn't think it was out of the realm of possibilities at all. In fact, he laid out for his fellow DNCers the case for this 'conspiracy' truth.

Also notice this email denotes his assessment was a draft; therefore, they (DNC) might have been looking to use this intel for their own use should Cruz win the nomination!

Oh the hypocrisy runneth over in DNC-Land. It's almost a bad joke, but the subterfuge reveals are only just beginning.

Note: Every campaign has investigating operatives that do backgrounds on opponents. In fact, sometimes they begin their work long before election cycles in order to find what people seal before it's sealed. Just thought you should know this little known fact.

Stay tuned there is more than one connection between Ted Cruz and the DNC to come.

Marilyn Mosby: Insanity Defined

Many believe the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. For them, we might consider including an image with the definition — the image of Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby.

Mosby, and her obedient if misguided courtroom prosecutors, are now not just zero for four in their efforts to convict Baltimore police officers in the death of Freddie Gray. They are zero for 22, since not a single charge faced by the officers as they approached trial has held water.

While the national news is now hotly focused on the Republican National Convention and on the painful assassination of eight police officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge, the Freddie Gray case seems like yesterday’s news — a tiny article in the regional or state section of any major publication. The convulsive violence, arson, and attacks on police that followed Gray’s in-custody injury and subsequent death has receded to almost footnote status while six experienced Baltimore cops have fought mightily for their names and futures.

America Responds to Trump’s Speech: ‘That Was Me Up There Speaking’

Callers to Friday’s episode of Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM expressed their appreciation for the candor of Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland Thursday night.

Eddie in Florida, a Latino branch manager for an industrial homes company, said that Trump “talked to me like a human being as though I was sitting across a table from him.”

He added that he talks to his blue-collar co-workers the same way that Trump spoke to the nation.

Mike in Montana said, “He really told us what we needed to hear, not what we wanted to hear, and it blew me away and everybody I’ve talked to so far.”

When asked what specifically he liked about Trump’s speech, Mike explained, “I just want the truth from a politician. I want the truth from somebody in Washington. That’s why I listen to Breitbart News – it’s because I demand and want the truth. And he’s given that to me.”

Leaked Guide Shows Clinton Staffers How to Solicit for Super PAC Without Breaking Pesky Rules

LET’S SAY YOU’RE running a huge campaign to elect Hillary Clinton president. Citizens United made it possible for Super PACs to raise unlimited amounts of money from incredibly rich people. You want them to give as much money as possible to Priorities USA, the main Super PAC supporting Clinton.

Sadly, however, there are still rules forbidding campaign staffers from explicitly asking the incredibly rich to give more than $5,000 to Super PACs like Priorities USA. They are loose rules, and rarely enforced rules, but they are rules nonetheless.

So what can you, a Clinton operative with a Cleveland Park mortgage and irritatingly expensive children, do to avoid paying defense lawyers half a million dollars in the very unlikely event that the Federal Election Commission decides to open an investigation into what you did?

Fortunately, a 2015 memo evidently written by Marc Elias, now general counsel for the Clinton campaign, explains it all. Very precisely.

CNN Trashes Its Own Donald Trump Poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Donald Trump won the Republican nomination for president in Cleveland during a momentous week in political history.

On Thursday night, Trump gave a one-hour-and-fifteen-minute speech accepting the Republican nomination. The speech was so overwhelmingly well-received among the crowd that the media did not know what to do to tear it apart. Chyrons appeared on mainstream networks: “Trump Accepts Nomination.” Nothing scandalous.

CNN late-night host Don Lemon’s face was distraught during his panel, as was the face of one-time Ted Cruz employee Amanda Carpenter. Lemon’s show would play on the screens at public places without any sound, which was appreciated by the attendees.

At 12:52 a.m., this reporter texted Breitbart Washington political editor Matthew Boyle the following message: “56 percent more likely to vote for Trump post speech. 75 percent positive reaction – CNN POLL!!!!!!”

WikiLeaks Emails: DNC Approved Fake Trump Ads For 'Hot Women' Comfortable With 'Gropes Under The Meeting Table'

The WikiLeaks cache of 19,000 emails from the Democratic National Committee has only been online for a couple of hours, and already it’s revealing some of the party’s dirty tricks.

In an email dated May 18, 2016, Christina Freundlich, Deputy Communications Director at the DNC proposed that the Democrats impersonate the Trump Organization on Craigslist, placing a fake ad for “hot women” aimed at making the Republican candidate look as sexist as possible.

The email, which can be read below, contains the full text of the fake ad. It includes requirements for employees to “not gain weight on the job,” to “evaluate other women’s hotness,” and be comfortable with a range of illegal workplace sexual harassment including allowing the boss to “grope you under the meeting table.”

The fake ad closes by calling on interested applicants to send their cover letters to “”

Hispanics Beware of DNC

By Thornton Crowe

As promised, more from Wikileaks land!

Well, guys, just when you thought it was bad, it's about to get worse. Going through Wikileaks' Treasure Trove, these two emails came up about the Hispanic target demographics.

Apparently, the DNC is concerned they're not going to turn out the votes in November so they're putting in overtime on this group in particular. Here is an email where they refer to Hispanics as "Taco Bowls." Such a degrading slur but nice to know how people are put into derogatory terms within their organization.

Here is a memorandum that outlines the Hispanic demographics "traits." Once again, boiled down to cold stats. Interesting they generalize a whole race of people, yet Republicans are the ones who are "racists."

And interesting, this whole thing is being coordinated in conjunction with a man named Luis Miranda. Yes, a Hispanic himself, works around people who refer to 'his' people as taco bowls. In all fairness, let's say they don't say it to his face, wonder how he thinks about it now that it's all out in the public view!

Luis Miranda
It's amazing how someone can sellout his own people for a 'cause' - and an empty one at that. Oh wait, there's another guy doing that one... Feel the Bern.  Guess at the DNC, sellouts loves company!

For the Hispanic community, it might be a good idea to think before casting votes for a party that generalizes you - not looks at your needs but just how to get your votes!

California Governor Denies Parole for Manson Follower

Leslie Van Houten, the youngest member of the Manson "family" to take part in a series of gruesome California murders in 1969, has been denied freedom again — her past overshadowing her decades as a model prisoner.

California Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday overturned a parole board recommendation in April that found Van Houten, 66, was no longer the violent woman who helped slaughter a wealthy grocer and his wife.

The board noted that during her 46 years in prison, Van Houten completed college degrees, ran self-help groups for other inmates and had a spotless disciplinary record.

Brown disagreed with their conclusion.

"She remains an unacceptable risk to society if released," he wrote in a five-page review that denied Van Houten parole for the 20th time.

Donald Trump calls, thanks Cleveland police chief personally for keeping RNC safe (video)

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Presidential candidate Donald Trump called Cleveland police Chief Calvin Williams on Friday afternoon to thank the department for its work patrolling this year's Republican National Convention.

Williams received the call outside the Quicken Loans Arena, when the officers who worked as a bike patrol were gathered for photos and a media availability. Several officers crowded around the chief when Trump made the call, and Williams put the candidate on speakerphone.

"He just wanted to thank us, the Cleveland Division of Police and law enforcement here, for a nice safe week for everybody," Williams said. "That it wasn't like people predicted. Even not like he predicted."

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Booed Off the Stage Before the DNC

Let’s just say that this week’s Democratic National Convention is going to be super interesting, given the response that outgoing Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz got on Monday morning.

Schultz announced her resignation from the DNC on Sunday in the wake of the leak of emails bashing the Bernie Sanders campaign. She will now serve as an honorary chair on the Hillary Clinton campaign.

But on Monday, Schultz, who represents Florida in Congress, tried to speak to the state’s delegation to the DNC, and it wasn’t pretty:

Bizarre Hillary Behavior Caught on Camera

Attorney REFUSES Orders To Remove BLM Pin From Attire – You Won’t Believe What Judge Does NEXT!

In Ohio, if you are an attorney or anyone that is going to be in Municipal Court Judge Robert Milich’s courtroom and you decide to don clothing or a pin that honors Black Lives Matter, you should reconsider your decision. Attorney Andrea Burton wore a Black Lives Matter pin into court and the good judge ordered her to remove it. She refused and was found in contempt of court and was sentenced to five days in the slammer. She is appealing, so she is not cooling her heels just yet. But judges have a wide latitude in their courts and if they feel something is disruptive, they are well within their rights to order the removal of that item.

Is a Black Lives Matter pin on a par with an American flag pin or a religious symbol, such as a crucifix or Star of David?

An attorney in Youngstown, Ohio, says yes, but the judge says no.

According to station WISH attorney Andrea Burton was held in contempt of court and sentenced to five days in jail when she refused Municipal Court Judge Robert Milich’s demand that she remove the pin in his courtroom.

Milich told reporters that his political opinions have nothing to do with his decision, adding that political “statements” have no business in a court of law:

A judge doesn’t support either side. A judge is objective and tries to make sure everyone has an opportunity to have a fair hearing, and it was a situation where it was just in violation of the law.

President Obama’s Kenyan half-brother wants to make America great again — so he’s voting for Donald Trump.
“I like Donald Trump because he speaks from the heart,”Malik Obama said to the media from his home in the rural village of Kogelo. “Make America Great Again is a great slogan. I would like to meet him.”
Obama, 58, a longtime Democrat, said his “deep disappointment” in his brother Barack’s administration has led him to switch his allegiance to “the party of Lincoln.”

The final straw of accepting his administration’s corruption, he said, came earlier this month when FBI Director James Comey recommended not prosecuting Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton over her “careless” use of a private e-mail server while secretary of state.

“She should have known better as the custodian of classified information,” said Obama of Hillary, who now says she is the most qualified person for President of the United States.

IT’S OUT! WikiLeaks EXPOSES Media’s Secret Cooperation With Democrats!

WikiLeaks published 50,000 files from the DNC yesterday. It is a treasure trove of damning crap against Hillary Clinton. Per Denise Simon: “For background, Julian Assange, the known manager of the entire WikiLeaks program appears to have some Belarus and Russia loyalties. Furthermore, Paul Manafort and Donald Trump have relationships as well. Could it be that Assange and the Kremlin have colluded in the U.S. elections and the DNC is waiting for the moment to destroy the general election process?” Excellent question! WikiLeaks and Russia have been threatening to dump these emails and they kept their word. All to help Donald Trump. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that the media and Hillary Clinton have been in bed together for a very long time and this shows it.

We’ve always assumed the media was working with the Democrats (see That Facebook Executive Claiming no Bias? Actually a Huge Hillary Donor… and Joe Scarborough Exposes Liberal NBC Bias…on MSNBC?). Now, thanks to Wikileaks, we have a paper trail. Or a smoking gun. Whichever metaphor you find less triggering.

Kenneth Vogel, a reporter for Politico, sent a copy of his story about Hillary Clinton’s fundraising to the DNC in late April before publishing it. The subject line read: “per agreement … any thoughts appreciated.” The agreement was that they could see his story before Vogel’s editors saw it, as long as he didn’t share it. There weren’t any significant edits made, Business Insider reported, and Clinton still was unhappy about the story. But the agreement still is strange considering that journalists typically don’t get approval on stories first from their subjects. A source told Business Insider this was just to make sure the facts were accurate. You can read the email here.

Proof Hillary isn't fit to be president

No one understands better than yours truly – except perhaps Vince Foster and scores of others (including material witnesses) who mysteriously died in and around the Clinton administration during the 1990s – the treachery of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Indeed, I fought her and her husband tooth and nail during these years and am the only lawyer ever to have obtained a court ruling that a sitting president committed a crime – a finding made by now Chief Judge Royce Lamberth in the famous Filegate case, which involved Bill and Hillary Clinton illegally obtaining FBI files on perceived adversaries to intimidate witnesses and blunt the 40-plus scandals that the Clintons found themselves engulfed in during those years.

My efforts to hold the Clintons to the rule of law infuriated them so much that President Clinton, at one point during his impeachment, lost his composure and control. After I also challenged the Clintons' illegal mortgage and purchase of a home in Chappaqua, N.Y., they attacked me personally at a White House press conference. (See the video on the homepage of Many wondered at the time how I was able to survive the Clintons' wrath.

Cool, hip Hillary Clinton touts ‘Free Wi-Fi’ plan, taxpayers to feel the pain

In an apparent attempt to rally unemployed and low-income voters who make up so much of the Democratic Party’s base, candidate Hillary Clinton says her administration would provide free Wi-Fi throughout the country. There will, of course, be nothing free for taxpayers.

Clinton, in a statement about her plans to improve American technology infrastructure, insists that free or low cost high-speed internet access should be a right rather than a luxury in 21st century America.

From her campaign website:

[S]he will finish the job of connecting America’s households to the Internet, committing that by 2020, 100 percent of households in America will have access to affordable broadband that delivers world-class speeds sufficient to meet families’ needs. Clinton will also build upon the Obama Administration’s efforts to increase not just broadband access but also broadband adoption, both by fostering greater competition in local broadband markets to bring down prices and by investing in low-income communities and in digital literacy programs. In addition, Clinton is committed to expanding the Obama Administration’s efforts to connect “anchor” institutions — like public school and public libraries — to high-speed broadband. She will invest new federal resources so that train stations, airports, mass transit systems, and other public buildings can have access to gigabit connectivity and can provide free Wi-Fi to the public.

Clinton recently tried to play up her attempts to appear as a youthful candidate who understands the technology demands of young Americans with a tweet promising, “Two Words: Free Wi-Fi. In train stations, airports and other public spaces.”

The nightmarish results of Muslim outreach

Islam’s miseries have never been America’s to solve

When President Obama entered office, he dreamed that his hope-and-change messaging and his references to his familial Islamic roots would win over the Muslim world. The soon-to-be Nobel Peace Prize laureate would make the United States liked in the Middle East. Then terrorism would decrease.

But, as with his approach to racial relations, Mr. Obama’s remedies proved worse than the original illness.

Mr. Obama gave his first presidential interview to Al Arabiya, noting that he has Muslims in his family. He implicitly blamed America’s strained relations with many Middle Eastern countries on his supposedly insensitive predecessor, George W. Bush.

The new message of the Obama administration was that the Islamic world was understandably hostile because of what America had done rather than what it represented.

Ocean City Authorities Caught With Their Pants Down

Clearly if they had simply followed Social Media they would have been aware additional groups would be coming to Ocean City. My sources tell me that they were very under staffed this weekend because they did not think additional crowds would be coming.

Rehoboth Gone Wild: Inside the Insane Feud in a Delaware Beach Town

In the weeks before the rally, Kelley Gillespie threw herself into its organization with the savvy of the seasoned planner of Washington events that she is.

She and her team plotted out what props would make for the most provocative TV clips. They ordered T-shirts—an eye-catching chili-pepper red—and cooked up a social-media campaign. On June 16 last year, Gillespie posted a photo of her sons staring seriously into the camera in the manner of Michelle Obama with her “Bring Back Our Girls” placard, but with a communiqué that was rather less serious.

“REHOBOTH,” one of the signs read, “where it’s a CRIME to be a KID.”

With that, the Great Rehoboth Pool Battle was on.

It all started with the sort of mundane ordinance proposal that might normally slip past most of Rehoboth’s 1,400 year-round residents, not to mention its 150,000 weekenders. But in this case, it became something impossible to ignore: Under the bill, people who rented houses with pools wouldn’t be allowed to swim in those pools.

Betsy McCaughey: ‘Clinton Cash’ Shows How the ‘Crooked’ Clintons ‘Went from Broke to Filthy Rich’

Former New York Lt. Governor Betsy McCaugheywrites in Investor’s Business Daily that the new documentary film “Clinton Cash” based on Peter Schweizer’s bestselling book of the same name, reveals how the Clintons “cashed in” on their government service.

When Bill and Hillary Clinton moved out of the White House fifteen years ago, they were “dead broke,” says Hillary. Today they’re worth up to $150 million. A new documentary,Clinton Cash, reveals how they went from broke to filthy rich, with an emphasis on filthy.

The Clintons have made out like bandits compared with another political couple, former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and his wife Maureen. The McDonnells were convicted of accepting over $150,000 in gifts while in office from a businessman.

The Clintons raked in seven hundred times that amount — $105 million— under the pretext of speaking fees while Hillary Clinton was in public office. Yet the McDonnells face time in the big house, while the Clintons are aiming for the White House.

The Clinton Cash List of Bill Clinton’s Shady, Foreign-Financed Speeches

Did the Clintons profit from the sway they held over American foreign policy? It sure looks like it.

Bill Clinton recently defended his high-priced speeches by explaining that he’s “gotta pay our bills,” but Peter Schweizer’s much-discussed forthcoming book Clinton Cash suggests that there’s a sense in which Hillary Clinton has been the real family breadwinner of late.

“The really troubling thing about Bill’s speeches is the apparent correlation between his fees and Hillary’s decisions during her tenure as secretary of state,” Schweizer writes in the book, which comes out tomorrow. “The timing of the payments, the much higher than average size of some of them, and the subsequent actions taken by Hillary raise serious questions about just what those who underwrote these exorbitant fees were actually paying for.”

The real point of interest is the Clinton Foundation, not the email servers, source reveals

The Clinton Foundation is a “massive spider web of connections and money laundering implicating hundreds of high-level people,” according to an anonymous insider who revealed why the FBI stopped short of indicting Hillary Clinton.

Before FBI Director James Comey announced the FBI wouldn’t recommend pressing charges against Clinton, an insider with “intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the Clinton case” hosted an little-publicized AMA session on 4Chan, and the statements he made on July 2 corroborate with later developments of the scandal.

“There is enough for her and the entire government to be brought down,” he revealed. “People do not realize how enormous this whole situation actually is.”

Williams: Challenges for Black People-- Part II

The prospects for a better future are nearly hopeless for roughly 20 percent of black people — those who reside in big-city crime-infested and dysfunctional neighborhoods. There is virtually nothing that can be done about it without a major rebuilding of the black community from within.

Let's examine some of the aspects of the problem and the dismal prognosis, given the status quo.

The most important social unit is the family. Many talk about the "breakdown" in the black family when a far more accurate description is that the family doesn't form in the first place. About 73 percent of black babies are born to unwed mothers. By the way, that percentage was 25 in 1963 and 11 in 1938. The absence of fathers is crucial. Even President Barack Obama recognized this when he said that "children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime, nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison."

Female-headed households are a devastating problem, but the solution lies almost exclusively within the black community. It's a massive job for black churches and social organizations. If there is a role for government to play, it's to stop subsidizing such behavior with handouts.

Education and skills acquisition are vital to upward mobility. But what goes on in many predominantly black schools is no less than a betrayal to those blacks and whites who sacrificed their blood, sweat and tears during the civil rights struggle of the 1940s, '50s and '60s in an effort to secure better educational opportunities. Nationally, an average of 1,175 teachers and staff were physically attacked EACH DAY of the 2011-12 school year. Most of this occurred at predominantly black schools.

In Baltimore, each school day in 2010, an average of four teachers and staff were assaulted.

Clinton VP Pick Tim Kaine’s Islamist Ties

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s newly-announced running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, has a history of embracing Islamists. He appointed a Hamas supporter to a state immigration commission; spoke at a dinner honoring a Muslim Brotherhood terror suspect; and received donations from well-known Islamist groups.

Appointing a Muslim Brotherhood Front Leader Who Supports Hamas

In 2007, Kaine was the Governor of Virginia and, of all people, chose Muslim American Society (MAS) President Esam Omeish to the state’s Immigration Commission. A Muslim organization against Islamismcriticized the appointment and reckless lack of vetting.

Federal prosecutors said in a 2008 court filing that MAS was “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” A Chicago Tribune investigation in 2004 confirmed it, as well as MAS’ crafty use of deceptive semantics to appear moderate. Convicted terrorist and admitted U.S. Muslim Brotherhood member Abdurrahman Alamoudi testified in 2012, “Everyone knows that MAS is the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Air Force punches back at Senate plan to change military housing allowance

The Air Force’s top enlisted service member is taking issue with a congressional plan to change the way military housing allowance is doled out.

But the criticism comes as some of the lowest numbers of enlisted military service members are reporting financial difficulties.

The point of contention is a provision in the Senate version of the 2017 defense authorization bill. The provision changes Basic Allowance for Housing so that it only reimburses service members for their actual expenses instead of paying them a flat monthly payment.

“From my discussions with airmen around the world, I find that this proposal is having a significant negative impact on airmen’s morale and their sense of support from their elected officials,” a June 14 letter to Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain (R-Ariz.) signed by Air Force Chief Master Sgt. James Cody said. “Airmen are concerned about the potential financial hardships as some families could lose up to $50,000 a year in compensation. Additionally, this proposal threatens our wingman culture as it provides disincentives for shared living arrangements, thereby removing a critical support structure that contributes to the resiliency of the force.”
