Progressives defend Omar, prompting House Dems to delay vote condemning anti-Semitism

A House vote on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism, following recent comments by U.S. Rep Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has been delayed, as Democrats scramble to rewrite the motion to include all forms of prejudice and progressives like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez come to the defense of their embattled colleague.

The declaration – which doesn’t mention Omar by name – was initially set to be introduced Wednesday. It was to set out the history of anti-Semitism and other bigotry in America and provide examples of anti-Jewish tropes about divided loyalties.

It was also supposed to say the House “rejects anti-Semitism as hateful expressions of intolerance that are contradictory to the values that define the people of the United States.”

“We're still discussing it,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., told the outlet Tuesday.

Left Launches Phase Two of 'Obstruct Trump' Crusade

On Monday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) launched a second wave of the Democrats’ long-running attempt to take down President Donald Trump. Using a dragnet approach, Nadler sent requests to more than 80 individuals, agencies, and entities for documents related to Trump’s personal, business, and political life, with the hope of finding something — anything — to justify impeaching the president. While admitting there was no evidence yet uncovered to support the allegation that Trump has actually engaged in any criminal activity, Nadler asserted, “Our goal is to hold the administration accountable for the obstruction of justice, the abuse of power and the corruption.”

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders had a different take, however, as she unmasked the Democrats’ real motives: “They’re not after the truth. They are after the President.”

A few things to be pointed out regarding this predictable action taken by House Democrats:

An Inside Look at the Blexit Rally in Virginia Ignored by Establishment Media

Candace Owens hosted a Blexit — or black exit from the Democrat Party — event on Sunday in Richmond, Virginia, where hundreds of people gathered to hear from Owens and several other featured speakers, including Breitbart News Entertainment Editor Jerome Hudson.

Hundreds of eager event attendees wearing MAGA hats and Blexit t-shirts gathered at The National Theater in Richmond, Virginia, on Sunday, to attend the Blexit rally. This was Owens’ second Blexit event of the year, the first having been held in Los Angeles, California, in January.

Breitbart News was present at the event and had the opportunity to speak with attendees and speakers. While waiting in line to get into the event, one young attendee, Chandler, told Breitbart News he believes he has “awoken earlier than most people” due to having “fantastic parents.”

“I get a lot of flack from people,” said another event attendee, Russell, “They’ll see my [Blexit] shirt and ask me about it, and when I tell them what it’s all about — they’ll look at me like I’m crazy — like, ‘don’t you know that you’re not supposed to be thinking that way?'”

Russell added that he has a “Trump 2016” sticker on his car, and is often questioned when getting out of his car. “They’ll see me get out of the car, and they’ll go, ‘Is that your car?’ — ‘You’re a Trump supporter?'”

“It’s just crazy,” continued the Blexit attendee, “It’s just amazing that I actually have to justify — the only reason they ask those questions is because of the color of my skin.”

Teachers’ Union President, Transgender Advocate Push LGBTQ Agenda on Kindergartners

The president of the nation’s largest teachers’ union joined a man who identifies as a woman in teaching transgender ideology to an Arlington, Virginia, kindergarten class last week.

Lily Eskelsen García, president of the National Education Association (NEA), joined with Sarah McBride, a spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), in reading the books I Am Jazz and Julián Is a Mermaid to young children at Ashlawn Elementary School.

“I have a girl brain but a boy body,” McBride read from I Am Jazz, the Washington Post reported. “This is called transgender. I was born this way.”

“I’m like Jazz,” McBride told the children. “When I was born, the doctors and my parents, they all thought that I was a boy.”

“Because society, people around them told them that was the case,” McBride continued. “It took me getting a little bit older to be able to say that in my heart and in my mind, I knew I was really a girl.”

Report: Nadler’s Campaign Consultant Also Working on Behalf of Russian Propagandist

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) has hired a campaign consultant who also lobbies on behalf of the head of a Russia propaganda outlet, even as he launches an extensive investigation into President Trump’s alleged Russia ties, according to a report.

The Daily Beast on Thursday reported that Nadler’s campaign consultant is Ezra Friedlander, a lobbyist and political consultant who runs outreach to the Orthodox Jewish community for Nadler’s campaign.

However, he is also a public-relations executive whose newest client is the wife of Kirill Vyshinsky, the head of Russian state news media outlet RIA Novosti’s Ukrainian arm.

That means Nadler has his own questionable ties to Russians, as well as that his campaign is paying a consultant that is doing lobbying work for a Russian propagandist.

AOC Smears Jerry Falwell Jr. with False ‘CPAC’ Video

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) attacked Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. with false information Tuesday.

“‘I always thought that if more good people had concealed carry permits, then we could end these Muslims before they [unintelligible].’ This was just this weekend at CPAC, the conference attended by the President and members, to 1000s. Where’s the resolution against Islamophobia?” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, re-tweeting a video of Jerry Falwell Jr. from an activist.

“I always thought that if more good people had concealed carry permits, then we could end these Muslims before they [unintelligible].”

— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) March 5, 2019

In the video Falwell Jr. says that having more people with concealed carry permits could protect against terrorism.

“I always thought that if more good people had concealed carry permits, then we could end these Muslims before they…before they walk in…” Falwell Jr. said.

The clip is not from CPAC, as Ocasio-Cortez claims, but is from December 2015, immediately after a radical Islamic terrorist attack in San Bernadino, California.

Conservative Activist to Press Charges Against Suspect in UC Berkeley Assault

Conservative activist Hayden Williams confirmed he will press charges against Zachary Greenberg, the man arrested for allegedly punching him in the face at UC Berkeley, in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity Monday evening.

A partial transcript is as follows:

SEAN HANNITY: At CPAC, the president announced his plans to issue an Executive Order to ensure that America’s left-wing universities actually enforce freedom of speech or they don’t get money. On stage with the president was Hayden Williams. He was viciously, as you know, attacked while recruiting students for a conservative organization at UC Berkeley. Thankfully, the UC Berkeley police announced Friday that they have made an arrest. The suspect, 28-year-old Zachary Greenberg. […] Hayden, number one, glad you’re here. Pretty cool getting called up by the president, right? it was kind of worth a punch.

HAYDEN WILLIAMS: Yeah, I guess. It was kind of exhilarating, you know, being recognized and brought up on the stage at CPAC. But you know, there are so many conservatives students across the country who put up with similar forms of discrimination and harassment, and even violence that, you know, don’t get recognized, and we’ve covered it extensively.

DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen: "A full-fledged emergency.”

The border situation has reached a “breaking point,” the Homeland Security Department said Wednesday, ahead of Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s highly anticipated appearance to testify on Capitol Hill.

Numbers released a day earlier show illegal immigration, as measured by apprehensions at the southwest border, at the highest levels since 2007 — or just as the last wall-building spree began under President George W. Bush.

The new “crisis” is a legal problem, Ms. Nielsen will tell lawmakers.

“The truth is that the politics and policies of open borders have failed the American people,” she said in a statement Wednesday morning. “Activist courts, congressional inaction, and criminals intent on breaking our laws stand in the way of confronting illegal and uncontrolled migration threatening our safety and security. What was a crisis, is now a full-fledged emergency.”

'If This Is Not a Crisis, What the Hell Would Be?'

Ahead of a hearing on the crisis at the southern border and a Senate vote on President Trump's national emergency declaration, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said the U.S. is being "flooded" with illegal immigrants attempting to cross the border.

In an interview on "The Story" Tuesday, Graham (R-S.C.) pointed to disturbing new numbers from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

According to officials, more than 76,000 people tried to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in February, a "remarkable" leap and the highest number of any February in the past 12 years.

Of those, 7,249 were unaccompanied children, and 40,385 were family units -- totaling 60 percent of apprehensions.

"I was blown away," Graham said, noting that the number of families apprehended at the border is up 335 percent over the past year, while the number of unaccompanied minors in custody is up 54 percent.

He added that the average cost of housing an unaccompanied minor is $375 a day, which puts the U.S. on pace to spend $1.6 billion in 2019.

"If this is not a crisis, what the hell would be?" Graham said. "We're being flooded. The numbers are just through the roof."

American Islamic Forum for Democracy president: Remove her from the Committee

The president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy admonished freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar Wednesday morning and blasted Democrats for not doing enough to combat anti-Semitism.

“I’m frankly, as an American and as a Muslim, insulted at their resolution because it doesn’t name Ilhan Omar,” Dr. Zuhdi Jasser told Fox News' “America’s Newsroom.”

“You listen to [Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y.] and he says ‘oh, we’re going to work with her,’ I mean it’s patronizing, they’re infantilizing her.”

A House vote on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism, following alleged anti-Semitic comments by Omar, D-Minn., was delayed Wednesday.

Engel, who initially spoke out against Omar’s comments, has recently softened his statement.

"First of all, it's not up to me. This is done by the leadership. I don't know that that would do anything except exacerbate the situation even more. I'm looking to get rid of anti-Semitism, not looking to punish anybody,” Engel said Tuesday.

A furious Jasser hit back, asking co-host Sandra Smith: “When did congressional office become a deprogramming rehab for radical Islamist ideologies?”

Nolte: NYT Says Border at ‘Breaking Point’ 1 Month After ‘Fact Check’ Claimed No Emergency

One month after claiming there is “no emergency” at the border, the far-left New York Times now concedes the border is at a “breaking point.”

In real time, as President Trump gave his State of the Union speech last month, the Times branded the president a liar over his claim that there is an “urgent national crisis” at our border.

“This is false,” the Times told its readers, using a non sequitur about individuals attempting to cross the border, while admitting — at the bottom of the fact check — that a “record number of families have tried to cross the border in recent months.”

At the time, this phony fact check was widely ridiculed for its absurd attempt to hide the fact that a “record number of families” stressing the resources of our southern border does not somehow constitute a legitimate crisis, and now, almost exactly a month later, this very same Times is reporting our border is at a “breaking point.”

Trump: I have 'scary' amount of power if Supreme Court says DACA can't be dismantled

President Trump said [in January] he would have a "scary" amount of power if the Supreme Court were to decide it's illegal to dismantle the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program created by former President Barack Obama.

"If the Supreme Court rules that President Obama was wrong, which they should because — by the way, if he was right, then I've been given tremendous power," Trump told reporters at the White House Wednesday. "Can you imagine me having that power? Wouldn't that be scary?"

"If President Obama is allowed to do what he did on DACA, then I'm allowed to do whatever I want to do on things that, you know, probably a president ... doesn't have the right to do," he added.

DACA allowed younger immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as children stay in the U.S. and work. Trump and other opponents of the program argue that Obama created it without any input or authority from Congress and that Trump should therefore be able to disband the initiative just as easily.

WSJ Editorial Board Has Some Bad News For Nadler And His Hunt For "Obstruction"

This week the House Judiciary Committee chaired by Jerry Nadler (D-NY) fired off 81 document requests to various individuals and organizations in a quest to uncover crimes committed by the Trump, his 2016 campaign, or members of the current administration.

Ths long list of recipients includes Julian Assange, the NRA, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, George Papadopoulos, and Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg - while Nadler's inquisition is expected to focus on 3 broad areas of interest: allegations of obstruction of justice, public corruption and other abuses of power.

Nadler, meanwhile, has unequivocally stated that he thinks President Trump obstructed justice - telling ABC's George Stephanopoulos on Sunday: "It’s very clear that the President obstructed justice."

To that end, the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board has some bad news for Nadler;

Nothing Nadler cites is actually illegal...

Nadler’s ‘Obstruction’ Quest

The examples he cites as crimes are legal presidential actions.

Well, we’re off on the march to impeachment, as we predicted last year even as Democrats said it wasn’t on their minds. With Chairman Jerry Nadler’s subpoena swarm from House Judiciary this week, and his assertions that President Trump obstructed justice, the articles of impeachment are apparently awaiting only the collection of the readily available details to fill in the blanks.

“Do you think the President obstructed justice?” asked ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday.

“Yes, I do,” replied Mr. Nadler. “It’s very clear that the President obstructed justice. It’s very clear—1,100 times he referred to the Mueller investigation as a witch hunt, he tried to—he fired—he tried to protect [Michael] Flynn from being investigated by the FBI. He fired [FBI director Jim] Comey in order to stop the Russian thing, as he told NBC News.”

Credit Mr. Nadler for candor that Democrats didn’t display when they campaigned last year. Then they talked only about holding the President “accountable.” Now they claim they already have enough to impeach Mr. Trump, though as Mr. Nadler admitted Sunday, “you have to persuade enough of the opposition party voters, Trump voters . . . that you’re not just trying to steal the last—to reverse the results of the last election.”

DNC spurns Fox News for chance to hold 2020 presidential debate

Fox News Channel will not air any debates among 2020 candidates vying for the Democratic presidential nomination, the Democratic National Committee has decided.

In a scathing statement, DNC Chairman Tom Perez said Fox News is “not in a position” to hold a fair debate for the candidates, pointing to a recent article from the New Yorker outlining how the network has peddled propaganda for President Trump.

“I believe that a key pathway to victory is to continue to expand our electorate and reach all voters,” Perez said. “That is why I have made it a priority to talk to a broad array of potential media partners, including Fox News. Recent reporting in the New Yorker on the inappropriate relationship between President Trump, his administration and Fox News has led me to conclude that the network is not in a position to host a fair and neutral debate for our candidates. Therefore, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the 2020 Democratic primary debates.”

Coast Guard interdicts 23 illegal migrants 11 miles east of Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Bernard C.Webber (WPC-1101) interdicted 23 illegal migrants with multiple nationalities 11 miles east of Pompano Beach attempting to illegally enter the United States Saturday.

The Bernard C. Webber crew sighted the 25-foot cabin cruiser with six adult Chinese females - three of whom were interdicted by the Coast Guard less than year ago for illegal entry into the United States - one adult Guyanese female, one adult Colombian female, five adult Haitian females, six adult Haitian males, three accompanied Haitian male minors and one unaccompanied Haitian male onboard.

“These illegal maritime migration voyages are extremely dangerous and put the safety of those aboard in great jeopardy. The Coast Guard remains poised to intercept these smuggling events in an effort to prevent the unnecessary loss of life,” said Petty Officer Second Class Ryan Etelmaki, boarding officer, Coast Guard Cutter Bernard C. Webber.

Six of the migrants interdicted, four Chinese nationals, one Guyanese national and one Haitian national, were handed over to Border Patrol for processing and Homeland Security Investigations is now investigating this case. The remaining 17 migrants were transferred to the Royal Bahamian Defense Force and appropriate child services in Freeport, Bahamas Sunday.

Coast Guard Cutter Bernard C.Webber is a 154-foot fast response cutter homeported in Miami, Florida, which is able to carry out Coast Guard missions with greater endurance and interoperability with military and federal partners.

Attorney General Frosh Leads States’ Efforts to Halt Seismic Testing off Atlantic Coast

BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh, leading a coalition of 9 attorneys general, has joined a group of non-governmental organizations’ motion to preliminarily enjoin the Trump Administration’s authorization of harassment of marine mammals via seismic air gun surveys in the Atlantic Ocean. These “seismic testing” surveys, meant to explore the ocean floor for oil and gas, will expose whales, dolphins, and porpoises to repeated sound blasts louder than 160 decibels. The surveys will threaten the health and life of hundreds of thousands of highly sensitive marine mammals, including multiple endangered or threatened species. In addition, these tests are another step toward allowing offshore drilling - an action that could result in severe and irreparable harm to coastal and marine resources, including our vibrant coastal economy.

Alexander: The House Impeachment Subterfuge to Obstruct MAGA

Game on!

Democrat Party leaders are doing everything they can to derail Donald Trump’s successful “Make America Great Again” agenda and prevent any further success ahead of the 2020 election. Their win-at-all-costs tactics include seeding an economic recession by angling for impeachment, which will undermine all the economic confidence indexes.

Phase 1 of their plan was winning back the House on their “Hate Trump” platform — as they had and have nothing else to offer. Unfortunately, with the help of hundreds of millions of dollars of “in kind” advertising from their Leftmedia propagandists, they succeeded.

Phase 2 is setting Trump up for an inquisition and impeachment. Their angle of attack?

It likely won’t be Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s phony Russian collusion investigation, which was sparked by the fake Russian dossier funded by Hillary Clinton and her DNC hacks. That scheme was then promoted by her political sycophants, former FBI Director James Comey and other deep-state operatives who, in effect, attempted a coup d'etat to entrap Trump and expel him from office.

The fact that Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and other co-conspirators have yet to be indicted is an affront to Rule of Law.

Two years into the “collusion” charade, the Senate has concluded its bipartisan Trump/Russia investigation and determined that there’s not a shred of evidence to support the Clinton/DoJ claims.

So House Democrats will now conduct their own post-Mueller “collusion” investigation, continuing what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defined as a “Wrap-Up Smear” tactic against Trump. It will include accusations of obstruction and campaign-finance violations, the latter fitting neatly into their “stolen election” narrative.

Blexit Founder Candace Owens: ‘I Don’t Want a Green New Deal. I Want a Black New Deal.’

Candace Owens, director of communications at Turning Point USA and founder of the Blexit movement encouraging blacks to exit the Democrat Party, said Friday that she doesn’t want a Green New Deal, she wants a Black New Deal.

“I say I don’t want a Green new Deal. I want a black new deal. And the good news, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is that that actually can be free. It doesn’t cost $93 trillion,” Owens said in a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

I’ve never been a slave in this country. Stop telling us that we need to be obsessing over our past when we should be obsessing over our future and the potential that we have,” she said.

“Stop having a culture which tells us that we should want to be hip hop artists and basketball players, when we should want to be doctors and lawyers. We need to stop idolizing people like LeBron James and start idolizing people like Dr. Condoleezza Rice and Dr. Ben Carson,” Owens said.

Democrat Pelosi: We Should Not Be ‘Suppressing the Vote of Our Newcomers to America’

Speaking at a news conference on voting rights with Rep. Lloyd Dogget (D-Texas) in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said immigrants “make America more American,” and we should not be “suppressing the vote of our newcomers to America.”

“So, when we talk about newcomers, we have to recognize the constant re-invigoration of America that they are, that we all have been – our families,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi said. “And that, unless you're blessed to be Native American – which is a blessing in itself that we respect – but that constant re-invigoration of hope, determination, optimism, courage, to make the future better for the next generation, those are American traits.

"And these newcomers make America more American. And we want them, when they come here, to be fully part of our system. And that means not suppressing the vote of our newcomers to America.”

Amid rent increase, San Francisco's only fortune cookie factory faces uncertain future

For 57 years, tourists, schoolchildren and locals have squeezed into the small storefront of the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory for a free sample and a sight of nimble-fingered workers folding fortune cookies the old-fashioned way.

But the future is uncertain for the last remaining fortune cookie factory in San Francisco, which the city granted legacy business status in 2016. Facing frequent rent and wage increases and fewer visitors, co-owner Kevin Chan is unsure how long he'll be able to keep the company his mother co-founded in 1962 running.

"I'm worried about the future right now," Chan told SFGATE Tuesday. "I don't know what to do."

Chan said monthly rent for the tiny store on Ross Alley is "nearing $6,000." Three years ago, it was about $1,400. The BBCfirst reported the rent increases in a Monday story.

Sarsour Refuses to Acknowledge Israel’s Right to Exist

Women’s March co-leader Linda Sarsour on Wednesday refused to respond when asked if Israel has the right to exist after promising to answer the question following a Washington, DC, rally in support of Rep. Ilhal Omar (D-MN), who is under fire for repeated anti-Semitic remarks.

In exclusive footage captured by Breitbart News, videographer Matthew Perdie confronts Sarsour on whether she believes the Jewish state and the Middle East’s sole democracy has the right to exist. “We’ll answer questions later, after the press conference,” Sarsour responds, adding, “I’ll be happy to answer that.”

In a subsequent clip, Sarsour and her entourage begin walking away from the pro-Omar event, held near the U.S. Supreme Court, almost immediately after her remarks, refusing to acknowledge Perdie as he repeats his question about Israel.

An associate then physically blocks Perdie from approaching the activist.

Several men begin pushing the videographer and peppering him with questions on why he attended the pro-Omar event — and if he receives compensation from Israel. “Why are you here?” one asks him repeatedly.

“Do you work for Israel?” the man then asks, before inquiring how much the videographer is paid.

Democrats in ‘Full-Scale Brawl’ over Anti-Semitism Resolution

House Democrats cannot agree on a resolution to condemn anti-Semitism, and a closed-door meeting Wednesday to discuss the issue reportedly collapsed into infighting as rank-and-file members challenged the party leadership.

The meeting “erupted into a full-scale brawl Wednesday,” the Washington Post reported, as some “protested plans to vote this week on a resolution condemning religious hatred, a measure prompted by [Minnesota Rep. Ilhan] Omar’s comments last week suggesting supporters of Israel have “allegiance to a foreign country” (original link).

Omar, who apologized last month for anti-Semitic comments, set off a new crisis last week when she accused pro-Israel Americans of “allegiance to a foreign country.”

Democrat leaders, who have tried to portray President Donald Trump as a bigot, tried to manage the political fallout by promising a vote on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism on Wednesday. The resolution did not mention Omar specifically, and also condemned anti-Muslim prejudice.

In contrast, a resolution passed in January — and supported by Republicans — to condemn racist remarks by Rep. Steve King (R-IA) mentioned King specifically in the opening sentence. Republicans also stripped King of his committee assignments. Democrat leaders have declined to remove Omar from her committees.

Sen. McSally, ex-Air Force pilot, says officer raped her

Sen. Martha McSally, the first female Air Force fighter pilot to fly in combat, said Wednesday that she was sexually assaulted by a superior officer, and later, when she tried to talk about it to military officials, she “felt like the system was raping me all over again.”

The Arizona Republican, a 26-year military veteran, made the disclosure at a Senate hearing on the military’s efforts to prevent sexual assaults and improve the response when they occur. Lawmakers also heard from other service members who spoke of being sexually assaulted and humiliated while serving their country.

McSally said she did not report being raped because she did not trust the system, and she said she was ashamed and confused. She said she was impressed and grateful to the survivors who came forward to help change the system. She was in the ninth class at the Air Force Academy to allow women, and said sexual harassment and assault were prevalent. Victims mostly suffered in silence, she said.

McSally read from a prepared statement getting choked up at one point. She referred to “perpetrators” who had sexually assaulted her, an indication that she had been attacked more than once.

She did not say whether her assaults happened at the academy or during active duty. She didn’t name any names.

She said she stayed silent for years. But later, as she watched the military grapple with how to handle sexual assaults, she felt like she should speak out.

“I was horrified at how my attempt to share generally my experiences was handled,” she said. She almost left the Air Force after 18 years.

“Like many victims, I felt like the system was raping me all over again.”

Model Elizabeth Pipko: ‘Jexodus’ Helps Jewish Millennials Leave the Anti-Semitic Left

Fashion model and Jexodus spokesperson Elizabeth Pipko explained her movement’s plans to help young Jews reject partisan Democrat and left-wing politics during a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.

“Jexodus is a totally genuine grassroots movement started by young millennials who are just trying to galvanize young Jews across the country and get them involved in what’s happening in politics,” said Pipko, “seeing what’s going on in both parties, and also getting them involved in voting in 2020.”

“And most importantly, creating an environment where young Jews can feel unafraid, stand up for themselves and their beliefs, and feel free to come to their own conclusions about what’s going on and decide who they want to vote for and how they want to be involved, and not let the media and the narrative decide that for them,” added Pipko.

Jexodus describes itself on its website:

We are proud Jewish Millennials, tired of living in bondage to leftist politics. We reject the hypocrisy, anti-Americanism, and anti-Semitism of the rising far-left. Progressives, Democrats, and far too many old-school Jewish organizations take our support for granted. After all, we’re Jewish, and Jews vote for Democrats.

Until today.

We are determined and we are unafraid to speak for ourselves. As combatants and veterans of the campus wars, we know the threat progressivism poses to Jews.

Rural Sheriff's Ominous Warning To Citizens: "Lock Your Doors, Load Your Guns, & Get A Barking, Biting Dog"

Is this a sign of what is coming for the rest of the nation?

In Martin County, Kentucky times are very tough right now. Thanks to severe budget cutbacks, there are only two paid law enforcement officers covering a deeply impoverished 231-square-mile area that sits right in the heart of America’s raging opioid crisis. Needless to say, Martin County Sheriff John Kirk feels greatly outnumbered by the thieves, sexual predators and drug dealers that he has to contend with on a daily basis, and he recently issued a very ominous warning to the citizens of his county

Before making a wave of cutbacks across his department, Martin County Sheriff John Kirk delivered a grim warning to residents of this hardscrabble Appalachian community.

“Law enforcement as we have known for the last four years will not exist,” he posted on Facebook last month.

“WE ARE BROKE… LOCK YOUR DOORS, LOAD YOUR GUNS AND GET YOU A BARKING, BITING DOG. If the Sheriff’s office can’t protect you, WHO WILL?”

So why can’t Martin County afford more law enforcement officers?

Well, like so many other local communities all across America right now, they are deep in debt and flat broke

The county has accumulated $1.4 million in debt — a surprise to many of its new officials.

“I don’t sleep well,” said Susan Hale, the county’s new treasurer, who is sifting through the bills left by the previous administration: $230,000 to a regional jail that houses its inmates, $140,000 to a state association that provides liability insurance, plus dribs and drabs for mundane items such as office supplies and toilet paper.

Dying Man’s Wish: Contact With President Trump; President Trump Calls Him

Jay Barrett of West Haven, Connecticut is in the end stages of cystic fibrosis, but he had something he wanted to do before he dies: have some contact with President Donald Trump.

So his sister, a member of the city council of West Haven who describes herself as “100 percent Democrat,” organized a social media and traditional media campaign to try to get it to happen.

On Tuesday, it did.

President Trump’s secretary called Barrett, about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, and put the president on in short order, according to the New Haven Register.

Barrett, 44, says he voted for Barack Obama in 2008 but was disillusioned by his policies, especially Obamacare, and that he latched onto Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

“You’re a champ. You’re fighting it right? You’re just fighting it?” Trump said, according to video of the conversation published by the New Haven Register.

“That’s what the Irish do — right?” Barrett replied.

“Yeah that’s what the Irish do — you better believe it,” Trump said.

Trump said that if holds a rally in the area of southwestern Connecticut, if Barrett comes he’ll get a front-row seat.

Harris, Rounds, Tillis, Pingree Lead Bipartisan, Bicameral Letter Urging Administration To Increase the Number of Temporary, Non-Immigrant H-2B Workers for 2019

Current number of H-2B visas fails to adequately meet our nation’s temporary workforce needs

WASHINGTON, D.C. —
U.S. Reps. Andy Harris, M.D. (R-M.D.) and Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) and U.S. Sens. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) today led a bipartisan, bicameral letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen urging the administration to immediately release additional H-2B visas for Fiscal Year 2019 as authorized by the recent appropriations package (Pub. L. 116-6). The appropriations package signed into law last month authorizes the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, in consultation with the Secretary of Labor, to release up to approximately 69,320 additional H-2B visas for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2019.

Congressman Harris made the following statement about the letter:

“It’s essential that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) release additional H-2B visas sufficient to meet the demand of seasonal employers, particularly in Maryland’s First District. The effects of a continually oversubscribed H-2B visa system have been, and will continue to be, serious, and will negatively affect seasonal business, economic growth, and general business operations -- not just in Maryland’s First District, but nation-wide. Given the booming economy, record low unemployment rate, and soaring demand for labor, it is crucial that our seasonal employers are afforded access to temporary guest workers. As such, I strongly urge Secretary Nielsen to exercise her discretion and release enough H-2B visas to meet the needs of our American employers.”

The bicameral group of legislators wrote: “Given the near historic low unemployment rate, the constant oversubscription to the program and its importance to our local economies, we strongly urge you to use the discretion afforded your office in the most recent appropriations bill to release, without delay and to the greatest extent allowed by law, additional H-2B visas sufficient to meet the certified demand of our seasonal employers… If significant H-2B cap relief is not provided, there will be severe consequences for seasonal businesses and our economy generally.”

2020 Democrats normalize anti-Semitism by defending Ilhan Omar

Democrats seeking the party's 2020 presidential nomination are starting to come out in defense of Rep. Ilhan Omar, and in the process, they are normalizing anti-Semitism.

Leading Democratic candidates Sens. Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren have all come out defending Omar and pointing fingers at her critics, despite a series of statements she has made targeting American Jews.

Omar has been unrepentant over statements she made lamenting the influence of Jewish money in politics and questioning whether Jews were more loyal to Israel than America. The bigoted statements perpetuated classic anti-Semitic stereotypes, but that is now what's considered acceptable in the Democratic Party— as long as it gets subsequently laundered as mere criticism of Israel.

Somali Gangs Battle in Minneapolis; Somalis Demand That Cops Do Something

Let's start by stipulating that not every newcomer to America is a violent criminal bringing old ethnic and religious conflicts to the New World; nor is he a predatory opportunist, happy to take advantage of the stable, trusting, and yes, welcoming culture he finds. Every country has its social customs and unwritten rules, and often newcomers misinterpret them as weakness.

When the Catholic Irish arrived in large number from the middle of the 19th century on, they brought with them a deep suspicion of the police, a distrust of the Protestant ascendancy, and a pent-up willingness to work the system to their advantage -- cultural survival skills they had learned during nearly a millennium of English occupation of their home country. It took them more than a full century to fully integrate into American society. Swaths of American cities, especially New York, had Irish no-go zones, into which even the Irish cops feared to tread, and even today we remember the names of the psychopath Mad Dog Coll and the suave but violent Owney Madden, chief of the Gopher Gang, who gave the world Mae West, Primo Carnera, the Cotton Club and Bill Clinton.

Gallup: Americans (but Not Liberal Democrats) Mostly Pro-Israel

The majority of Americans side with Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, though sympathy toward Israel is down from last year, a new poll showed.

In Gallup’s annual world affairs survey, 59 percent said they sympathize more with the Israelis — down from 64 percent in the 2018 poll — compared with 21 percent who side more with the Palestinians, which is unchanged from 2018.

And though 69 percent of U.S. adults now view Israel very or mostly favorably, that’s down from 74 percent last year, the pol showed. Twenty-one percent view the Palestinian Authority favorably, identical to last year.

'DaNang Dick' Blumenthal Claims Border Crossings At 'Historic Low.' CBP Flattens Him.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Kevin McAleenan had to correct Democrat Sen. Richard Blumenthal on Wednesday after Blumenthal falsely claimed that border crossings are at a historic low during a Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing about human trafficking on the U.S.-Mexico border.

CNN reported on Tuesday that "more than 76,000 people were apprehended crossing illegally or without proper papers in February, the highest number of 'encounters' in any February in the last 12 years, according to CBP."

"Have you ever recommended that your superiors ask for an emergency declaration?" Blumenthal asked.

"I've recommended that we ask for more agents more border security barriers and more technology," McAleenan responded.

"That's been a continuing ask," Blumenthal replied. "Nothing about that ask constitutes saying we have a national emergency."

McAleenan responded: "Well, I would offer that I believe it's becoming more urgent as I offered in my opening statement in terms of the numbers of crossings, in terms of the illicit narcotics that are coming in increasingly between ports of entry."

"Well, but illicit narcotics are coming primarily still through the ports of entry, border crossings are still at a historic low compared to other times in our nation's history," Blumenthal claimed.

"No senator, they're not," McAleenan fired back. "We're on pace for over 700,000 crossings this year, that's closer to historic highs than historic lows."

Would a 'Millionaire’s Tax' Help New Jersey? The Governor Thinks It Will.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy is proposing a higher marginal tax rate on income above $1 million, apparently undeterred by lawmakers’ rejection of that same proposal last year.

Murphy’s $38.6 billion proposed budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1, to be unveiled during a speech to the Legislature that began shortly after 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, represents a 3 percent increase in spending over last year’s proposal. Inflation is around 2 percent.

The budget includes a surplus of nearly $1.2 billion, up from $743 million in the governor’s fiscal year 2019 proposal. The administration largely attributes the cushion to projected savings to be achieved through negotiations with public-sector labor unions.

Murphy, a Democrat elected in 2017 to succeed Republican Chris Christie, has argued that a so-called “millionaire’s tax” would help lift the middle class by providing funding for priorities like education.

He heads into budget negotiations after signing into law a measure that will raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour for most workers by 2024.

Accused of Misusing Campaign Funds, Nevada Senate Majority Leader Resigns

Nevada Senate Majority Leader Kelvin Atkinson resigned today, saying he would plead guilty to charges he used campaign funds for personal use.

"Due to mistakes I have made, I will be vacating my seat immediately," he said on the Senate floor. Atkinson thanked those who worked with him and listed accomplishments he was proud of during his time in the Legislature.

"In this most difficult of circumstances, I have been treated respectfully by the prosecutors and investigators," he said. "And I have no one to blame for this but myself in this situation."

Impeachment quest lets AOC types set the Democrats' agenda

Has the Democratic Party reduced its chances of denying President Trump a second term by continuing to concentrate on throwing him out before the end of his first? You can make a good case that it has.

Democrats have been itching to oust Trump since the days before he took the oath of office. Obama administration law enforcement and intelligence agencies launched investigations into candidate Trump’s campaign, contrary to the general rule that such agencies avoid interfering with electoral politics.

Astonishingly, they relied primarily (if not exclusively) on information bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign, the Steele dossier. FBI Director James Comey briefed its most salacious allegation to the incoming president, an act he presumably considered a form of blackmail.

New migrant caravan relying on 'Beast' train to get through Mexico for free

A Mexican freight train carrying more than 400 Central American migrants in the latest caravan group traveling through Mexico arrived in a town just south of California early Wednesday.

Hundreds of people sitting 10 feet up from the ground, on top of the train's cargo containers, pulled into Mexicali overnight. The Mexican city sits just over the border from Calexico, in southeastern California.

The train is known as "The Beast," or "La Bestia" in Spanish. Migrants have used freight trains at a lower rate in recent years compared to how popular it was around 2014 and 2015, when unaccompanied children and families began climbing aboard the trains to avoid paying smugglers to get them to the U.S.-Mexico border.

The investigation revolved around the illegal sale of controlled US Homeland Security technology to Russia and China in the years before the 2016 election by a company named AGT.
