I know most companies are blasted for remaining open, but I would like to thank the employees at Royal Farms in Hebron for remaining open all night tonight. They are taking good care of the plow drivers whose breaks are few and far between. Bless them for being there for our guys!

Open all night when people shouldn't even be out driving... hmmmmmm
You just don't read very well Fat Man, do you. One of your bad habits is not reading the entire post from your RSS feed, (even tough this one is very short).
Read it again, this time, slowly. Then you'll realize just how stupid you look JT.
7:56 PM is a worthless pos.
That would explain things.
Thank you Joe for posting, but I was hoping that these idiots (like 7:56) would see that RF is providing a much welcome service to our drivers who are risking their safety and their property to clear the roads for emergency personnel. Just think, if an ambulance, God forbid, is called to their homes tonight, these plow drivers would be the reason the ambulance made it there.
I, for one, am very grateful to the employees at Royal Farms that are helping the drivers who have been out since 9 this morning with no rest and very little sustenance. Would these naysayers do as much to help?
Some of these drivers are working around the clock. Yes thank you Royal Farms.
BTW-Cloverland is the only milk I will buy.
If any of you think two farms dairy aka royal farms and cloverland are going to miss out on a buck you are sadly mistaken! Trust me it is NOT the employees choice to be there it is the big man telling them they MUST stay open!
I don't know why that fat pos would rag on them. He'll be there half the night eating twinkies while his wife is asleep.
Tracy, that obese sob has never helped anyone but himself. Heck, the guy can't even be original and do his own thing. He and JR are Joe Albero wanna be's and everyone knows it.
Oh yeah 8:07 RF is really gonna make alot of money tonight. Think before you make moronic comments! Chances are they are losing money.
I thought they pulled the plows off of the roads? If this is true, why are they open. I applaud them for their offer...
"Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked,
Money don't grow on trees.
I got bills to pay,
I got mouths to feed,
There ain't nothing in this world for free.
I know I can't slow down,
I can't hold back,
Though you know, I wish I could.
No there ain't no rest for the wicked,
Until we close our eyes for good".
dash in on 413 is open. beer cigs coffee, and kerosene..these people are working serving our public works employees.. thank you very much!!!!
JT is an a-hole.
anonymous 8:31, I'm not going to argue that one.
I just realized what looked weird with this picture. No old plowed up snow or new snow in it!
Wow! It's been too long to see a clear parking lot lately!
I almost forgot what it is supposed to look like around here!
oh how I wish I was in walking distance of that coffee and a sub,etc
its not like they are advertising, saying there the only place open in town!they cant be making money, but a bet a hot cup of coffee goes a long way when your job is plowing all night!and not just plowing ,i wonder how many stranded motorist has been saved by a plow operatoror salt truck!!! f.u. jt
It's not just the people plowing the roads. There are emergency personnel out, police and fire. Plus there are people who have no choice but go to work at the hospital for example. I'm sure there are many who are grateful. Thanks RF.
Will some contact the drivers to get the RF employees home safely,,,That would be cool. Tit for Tat kinda.
The county and city called off their plows but the state and it's subcontractors are still plowing along.
does anyone know if wawa is going to remain open as well?
It aint no "Wonder Roast" but the RF chicken is pretty good.
Thank you Royal Farms.
Please pray for all of the men and women that have to be out on the roads tonight.
Thanks to SHA, police, fire, ems workers and hospital employees. Be safe!
I just heard an EMS call leaving the scene and they had to follow a convoy of snow plows to the hospital.
Pray extra hard for all those 9:15 mentioned.
I also saw that shore stop right up the road from them is open as well But they never close
two thumbs up for royal farms, those folks should get a bonus for coming to work an staying, hope they make it home safe!!!!!!!!
Very surprised that Giant is still open also....like was said if Walmart is closed, everyone should be also....
yes wawa is open too..just wish I could get there!
I read the whole thing and the 1st poster is correct! People shouldn't be out on the roads, and the few and far between plow driver breaks aren't worth it. Dee dee dee Joe
I stopped in to royal farms tonight and was talking to the ladys that work thier and they were saying they would stay open allnight and yes they have to stay open if the manager closes the store she will pe suspended for a week. It happen to a manager in De. last week when they had a state emergency. The ladies I talked to didn't seem to mind that they had to stay!
JT is a waste of good space...fat joke, could barely get into the court house
thanks everyone out there for making this nightmare go away as soon as possible.sha county police ems and the people who take care of people who cant take care of themselves.thanks very much!
The issue is we were under a state mandated do not drive after 6pm, the issue here is that these employees were probably forced to be there, what about their families? Do they not get a choice?
However, if a store has to be open let it be this type of store, however I will never understand why, Target, The Centre, or any other type of retail store feels the need to make it mandatory for their employees to work, forcing unrealistic fines on stores within the mall that do not open.
How important is it really to get a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, or uggs in this weather, shockingly enough these stores will store be here in a couple of days.
P.S. The mall opens but does not even clear its parking lot for its "REQUIRED" opening, well unless your mall management who comes in the back side of the mall. That was free and clear :).
Thank you to the poor Cable man who got us back on he looked very cold up there ...
Piss, moan, whine and complain. Is that all people know how to do anymore?
I used to push snow out on Rt 50 out to Bradley Road in Mardela and back to the county line in Willards, believe me NOTHING was open on that road to get a cup of coffee or even go to the bathroom. Fuel is not provided by the state to contractors. Will any of you be willing to run me 100gallons of diesel in the middle of the night so I can continue to push snow off of Route 50? Didn't think so.
RF isn't making money when you look at the overhead during this storm. It is costing them money to be opened. So while you are sitting home nice and warm take things into consideration before you start tapping that keyboard.
Libra, we're told it was a Farmer, not SHA.
The convoy of plows leading EMS happened in Ocean Pines to Atlantic General. I believe it was either state or county.
Well they should be open. Based on the photo, they've cleaned up all of their snow there. Awesome work by snow removers!
I know I'm late for this, but I worked at the RF in question during the snow storm and we were all told we would be suspended if we called out.
The manager didn't come in, she was safe at home, while everyone else was there.
She was the main reason I left. She was not worried about the plowers or her employees safety, the she wouldn't even close when we lost power and heat. We were told to just lock the doors and clean, in the dark.
