Gun Industry Group Says It Kicked Out Dick's Sporting Goods Over "Unconstitutional" New Policies, Gun-Control Lobbying Effort
Dick's accused of 'trying to impose their view ... on the industry by hiring a lobbyist to lobby for gun control'
The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) told the Washington Free Beacon its recent decision to expel Dick's Sporting Goods was based on the company's decision to lobby for new gun-control legislation.
"They went beyond simply making decisions for their own company and are trying to impose their view and their decisions on other companies in the industry by hiring a lobbyist to lobby for gun control," Larry Keane, NSSF senior vice president and general counsel, told the Free Beacon. "The CEO of Dick's, which owns Field and Stream, is on the record as saying he wants to see a ban on modern sporting rifles, he wants to see restrictions on magazines, and also wants to see an unconstitutional restriction on the ability of young adults to purchase any firearm."
Keane said that while NSSF did not agree with Dick's decision to remove certain rifles and ammunition magazines from their shelves, the decision was "not because of their internal decision about what products they would and wouldn't sell."
"We respect the right of companies to make their own decisions," he said.

Video shows a Florida courtroom erupting in violence after four accused killers were found guilty.
The wild melee Friday in Ocala involved three of the defendants and court security officers who used stun guns to restore order.
Defense attorney Daniel Hernandez is seen being pummeled by his client, Troy Davis.
“I got about five punches to the back and the side of my head, forehead. I got a few bumps and bruises, some scratches,” Hernandez told Fox 35 Orlando.
The attorney said he had been trying cases for 40 years without ever being struck by a client. He said he never expected Davis to strike him.

'Murdaland': Baltimore Homicides For 2018 Spike At "Second-Fastest Pace In A Decade"
Baltimore tagged the psychological level of 100 homicides for the year with the fatal stabbing of a 74-year-old man and the deadly shooting of a 16-year boy in West Baltimore Tuesday, “marking the second-fastest pace of killings in the city in a decade,” said The Baltimore Sun.
While homicides in Baltimore tend to be a seasonal phenomenon, the wave of killings climbed above trend in Aprill following a period of warmer temperatures. In all of 1Q, homicides were below the average, due to frigid arctic conditions that blasted the Northeastern United States.
In 2017, the city saw its 100th homicide on April 24. As The Baltimore Sun notes, the city had not experienced 100 murders this early in the killing season since 2007, when it occurred on May 7. The total number of killings this year remains somewhat below this time last year, which, by the way, was the deadliest year ever to be recorded in the city’s history, on a per capita basis, with 342 murders. In 2015/2016, which saw the second- and third-most homicides per capita in city history, there were not 100 murders until the end of May. The Baltimore Sun added that “in all the other intervening years since 2007, the city did not hit 100 homicides until June or July.”

Veterans ask court to reinstate lawsuits over burn pits in Iraq, Afghanistan
RICHMOND, Va. — Veterans and their families asked a federal appeals court Wednesday to reinstate dozens of lawsuits alleging that a government contractor caused health problems by using burn pits during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
More than 60 lawsuits allege that KBR Inc. — a former Halliburton subsidiary — dumped tires, batteries, medical waste and other materials into open burn pits, creating harmful smoke that caused gastrointestinal illnesses, neurological problems, respiratory problems, cancers and other health issues in more than 800 service members.
The lawsuits, which were filed in multiple districts around the country and then consolidated, also alleged that at least 12 service members died from illnesses caused by the burn pits.
Last year, a judge in Maryland dismissed the lawsuits, finding that the U.S. military made all of the key decisions and had control over KBR’s use and operation of burn pits. The lower court found that analyzing military decision-making during war is a political question not appropriate for judicial review.

How young is too young to get married? Maryland legislators fail to raise age to wed above 15
Legislation that would have raised the minimum marriage age in Maryland above 15 died in the final hours of the General Assembly session Monday night as the Senateand House of Delegates failed to reach a compromise.
Maryland law sets a minimum marriage age of 15 — if the teen’s parents or guardians consent and if the female to be wed is pregnant or has given birth. The Senate passed a bill raising the age to 16. The House said 17. Neither side would budge despite pleas from lawmakers who sought higher ages.
“We have to get rid of 15 being when to marry,” Sen. Bobby Zirkin told his fellow lawmakers. “It’s an embarrassment to the state.”
Del. Vanessa Atterbeary, the Howard County Democrat who sponsored the House bill, refused to go lower than 17. She said giving in to the demands of her Senate colleagues could set a bad precedent for other states considering similar legislation.
Her original bill, sponsored by Zirkin in the Senate, sought to set the minimum age at 18.
A similar disagreement led to an impasse on the final day of last year’s session, and neither chamber’s bill passed.

WaPo Positions Support for Torturer as Vote for Feminism
As the war over Gina Haspel’s nomination to lead the Central Intelligence Agency has waged on this week, we’ve been gifted an incredible batch of corporate media apologias for the CIA’s decades-long legacy of torture, extrajudicial killings and civil liberties violations. Perhaps most remarkably, these outlets have spent hundreds of words arguing that Haspel should be confirmed as the next director of the CIA—despite having overseen a black site prison where detainees were brutally tortured, and directing the destruction of evidence of this illegal and inhumane practice—because it’s the feminist thing to do.
This was the perfect line for the Trump administration’s Haspel push—a notion informed both by the Republicans’ elementary understanding of identity politics and their obsession with calling out perceived liberal hypocrisy: After all, how could any self-respecting Democrat vote against a woman to usher the United States’ international spying apparatus into its next no doubt sinister phase?

Mike Kelly blasts Maxine Waters as ‘incredibly divisive’ after fiery House debate
Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.), also the owner of a car dealership, doubled down on his argument that the automotive industry does not discriminate against women or people of color after a fiery exchange on Friday with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) on the House floor.
“We’re talking about thousands and thousands of auto dealers and millions of people who work in the industry, and making a broad statement that these are people who discriminate against non-white buyers,” the Pennsylvania Republican told FOX Business’ Neil Cavuto during an interview on Saturday. “This is absolutely preposterous.”

New law: Kansas cops can't have sex during traffic stops
A new Kansas law makes it a crime for police to have sex with people they pull over for traffic violations or detain in criminal investigations.
The new law bans sexual relations "during the course of a traffic stop, a custodial interrogation, an interview in connection with an investigation, or while the law enforcement officer has such person detained."
Now, you may be asking, wasn't that illegal already?

NY Dems Want To BAN Shooting Sports Because It ‘Spreads Gun Culture’
Anti-Second Amendment indoctrination widespread in schools
New York Democrat Linda Rosenthal introduced legislation to ban shooting sports from New York schools Friday, claiming the sports “spread gun culture.”
If the legislation is passed, high school shooting teams, including air rifle and even archery clubs, would be disbanded, Time magazine reported on Thursday. These programs can lead to violence, Rosenthal claimed, citing the Parkland shooter’s involvement in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program before executing his mass killing.
“Schools should not be supporting the spread of gun culture in society,” Rosenthal told reporters. “If parents want their children to have shooting instruction, there are opportunities that have nothing to do with the school.”

Ohio Butcher Shop Owners Accused of $3.5 Million Food Stamp Fraud
The owners of an Ohio butcher shop are accused of carrying out a $3.5 million food stamp fraud scheme over eight years.
Federal investigators raided Busch’s Country Corner in Cincinnati on Thursday after obtaining a search warrant to collect security camera recordings, financial records, and electronic communications as evidence of potential fraud, WCPO reported.
Federal documents state that store owners Michael and Amanda Busch trafficked $3.5 million in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and traded them for cash beginning in January 2010, and carried out the SNAP fraud scheme for the next eight years.
Investigators say Michael Busch’s brother Randall had also taken part in the scheme. All three suspects could face a number of food stamp fraud charges—including conspiracy to defraud the U.S., wire fraud, unauthorized use of SNAP benefits, access device fraud, and theft of public money.

Grassley Demands Sit-Down With Mystery FBI Agent To Discuss Flynn "302" Forms
- Last week, an unredacted House Intel Committee report revealed that former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe told Congressional investigators that the FBI had virtually no case against former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn, and "The two people who interviewed [Flynn] didn't think he was lying[.]"
- "[N]ot [a] great beginning of a false statement case." McCabe told the Committee.
- The same House Intel report revealed that James Comey contradicted himself in a Fox News interview when he denied telling lawmakers those agents thought Flynn was telling the truth, when in fact he did.
- There is an unconfirmed rumor that McCabe instructed agents to alter their "302" forms from the Flynn interview, effectively changing their written accounts.
- Now, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) says Comey also told them the FBI thought Flynn was telling the truth - only to say the opposite on Fox.
- Grassley is now zeroing in on the Flynn interview - and has demanded the "302" forms, as well as a sit-down with Special Agent Joe Pientka - who Grassley revealed as the second FBI agent in the Flynn interview aside from Peter Strzok.
- Grassley is also demanding a transcript of the reportedly intercepted calls between Flynn and former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak central to the Flynn case.
Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa is getting to the bottom of things, and some think he's laying out a path to exonerate former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn - who pleaded guilty of lying to the FBI over his contacts with former Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak.
It has been suggested that the FBI set Flynn up, and his admission of guilt could have been to avoid sure financial ruin trying to fight the Special Counsel. Others say Flynn was protecting his son, Michael Flynn Jr., who served as his father's aide for his consulting company, Flynn Intel Group.
Harry Reid Leaked Trump Collusion Letter After Brennan Phone Call
Letter to FBI marks first time a Democrat officially accused Trump’s campaign of colluding with Russians
Then-Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid released a letter in the heat of the 2016 election alleging Trump-Russia collusion even though the CIA director at the time urged him not to, according to a person familiar with their conversation.
Mr. Reid’s Aug. 27 letter to the FBI appears to mark the first time a Democrat officially accused President’ Trump’s campaign of colluding with the Russian government to hack his party’s computers.
The letter has come to represent for conservatives the “deep state” — Obama loyalists leaking unproven allegations to the press against Mr. Trump and his people to ruin the campaign, the transition and the White House.
“The evidence of a direct connection between the Russian government and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign continues to mount,” Mr. Reid wrote to FBI Director James B. Comey.

An entire family of suicide bombers, including pre-teen girls, attacked three churches in Indonesia on Sunday, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens more, national police said.
The clan of terrorists is believed to have ties to Jamaah Anshar Daulah (JAD), an extremist group that is affiliated with the Islamic State network in Indonesia. The attackers came from a single family whose head was the leader of a terrorist cell in Surabaya, the port city where the bombings occurred, according to National Police chief Gen. Tito Karnavian.
“We have identified the bombers,” he said Sunday at a press conference, according to the Jakarta Post. “It is highly likely that they shared a familial background.”

Unarmed Americans killed by cops ‘with alarming regularity’
'Police are choosing to fatally resolve encounters by using their guns on fellow citizens'
An institute that fights for civil and religious rights, property rights and privacy, says there’s an alarming new development in police interactions with members of the public: the citizens are being shot “for standing a certain way, or moving a certain way, or holding something – anything – that police could misinterpret to be a gun, or igniting some trigger-centric fear in a police officer’s mind.”
It’s the Rutherford Institute’s latest “Constitutional Q&A” that recently addressed the latest “troubling use of excessive force.”
The Institute reported that in recent years, there have been shootings of Americans by police for “standing in a ‘shooting stance,’ holding a cell phone, behaving oddly and holding a baseball bat, opening the front door, running in an aggressive manner holding a tree branch, crawling around naked, hunching over in a defensive posture, wearing dark pants and a basketball jersey, driving while deaf, being homeless, brandishing a shoehorn, holding a garden hose, and peeing outdoors.”

Trump Administration Readying Israeli-Palestinian Peace Plan
Ahead of Jerusalem embassy opening, officials disclose peace plan progress
The United States is in the "late phases" of finalizing its Israeli-Palestinian peace plan that will be presented to both parties for consideration, according to a senior White House official, who discussed progress on the matter ahead of a massive celebration in Israel to open the new U.S. embassy in Jerusalem.
Festivities surrounding the opening of the new U.S. embassy building in Jerusalem kicked off in "grand fashion" over the weekend and will spill into Monday afternoon when U.S, Israeli, and international diplomats gather to formally open the new embassy building, according to senior administration officials.
The U.S. presidential delegation touched down in Israel Sunday afternoon and quickly entered into a series of celebrations and bilateral meetings with Israeli officials. At a dinner organized by the Friends of Zion Museum, U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and senior presidential adviser Jared Kushner, also the president's son-in-law, were presented awards for their efforts to spearhead the embassy move.
While security remains tight amid fears of possible violence by Palestinian protestors, U.S. officials said the mood around Jerusalem is celebratory, with "people out in the streets carrying American and Israeli flags," according to one senior White House official who is in Israel for the embassy opening.

Gorka Slams Hillary's Comments on Iran Deal: She Lives In a 'Paranoid, Alternate Universe'
Former White House adviser Dr. Sebastian Gorka on Saturday slammed Hillary Clinton's comments on the United States' withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal.
Clinton said Thursday in Australia that pulling out of the agreement will make it more difficult to successfully negotiate with North Korea.
She added that the withdrawal "makes America less safe and less trusted" and said that the United States' "credibility is shot."
Gorka, a Fox News national security strategist, said Clinton was the worst secretary of state the United States has ever had.

Oklahoma governor angers gun and gay rights groups on the same day
Oklahoma's Republican Governor Mary Fallin vetoed a bill on Friday that would have allowed adults to carry handguns without a permit.
Fallin also signed another bill that permits religious organizations to exclude same sex couples from adoptions, managing to anger both gun and gay rights groups on the same day.
The twin actions announced late Friday were among more than a dozen decisions on legislation taken by the term-limited governor as she clears the decks in her waning months in office.
They also followed a tumultuous session of the Legislature that saw striking teachers march on the Capitol, prompting lawmakers to raise taxes including on the state's powerful oil and gas industry, to fund increases in education spending.

Donald Trump: Senate Should Not Get August Break if They Fail to Get Work Done
President Donald Trump endorsed the idea that the Senate should not get an August break if they failed to move a funding bill foward.
“The Senate should get funding done before the August break, or NOT GO HOME,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
Congress faces a deadline at the end of September to pass another funding bill. Congress either has to pass major legislation or rely on a continuing resolution to push the funding battle pass the election.
But Trump signaled that he wanted full funding for his budget priorities and approval of his nominees.

Happy Mothers Day America: 12 Million Millennials Still Live With Their Moms
Mother’s Day is tomorrow, and a new Zillow analysis finds 22.5 percent of millennials age 24-36 are living their moms or both parents, as this alarming trend is up more than 9 points since 2005.
Nearly 25 percent (12 million young adults) of all millennials will travel lightly this Sunday because most of them reside in their parents’ basement. On the bright side, that could translate into 12 million fewer drivers on the road; however, this is not good for a consumption-based economy.
Despite the Central-Bank-free-money-anything-goes-induced ‘economic recovery’, the total amount of millennials living with their parents had exponentially increased since 2005, when just 13.5 percent lived in their parents’ basement.

Congressional Black Caucus PAC Spends Lavishly on Hotels, Event Tickets
PAC has spent a majority of its funds on administrative purposes this cycle
The Congressional Black Caucus PAC (CBC PAC) is spending big on luxurious hotels in multiple cities, tickets for events at sports and entertainment centers, and at wineries and Broadway shows, a review of campaign finance filings show.
The CBC PAC is the fundraising arm of the Congressional Black Caucus and carries a stated mission of increasing "the number of African Americans in the U.S. Congress" and to "support non-Black candidates that champion our interests" while working to promote African American participation in the political process.
The PAC's website says that the group will "continue to grow" and expand their voice in key campaigns throughout the country with the help of its financial backers.
Despite the group's stated intentions, the PAC is spending hundreds of thousands on administration and fundraising while putting far less money toward its stated purposes.

The 'Election Collusion' Was between Our Intelligence Community and Britain
As I will explain, the widespread notion that Russia and Trump colluded to beat Hillary has long been demonstrable bunk. What seems more clear each day is that there was collusion between certain members of the U.S. and British intelligence communities to spy on the Trump campaign. This may explain, in large part, the reluctance of the Department of Justice to reveal what it knows publicly. After all -- with rare exceptions -- the two countries’ intelligence services have long had important information gathering and sharing agreements, and exposure of this may harm the traditional reciprocal relationship.
Whether the British counterparts were hoodwinked into playing this role is still unclear. Maybe they were. On the other hand, with most of what they know about the U.S. electorate doubtless coming from the NYT and even more left-wing British media, they may well have done this willingly, believing the globalist Hillary had a sure shot at the presidency and this was a means of cementing a relationship with her.

Breaking News: The Supreme Court struck down a federal ban on commercial sports betting, paving the way for more states to allow it
In a boost for the prospect of commercial sports gambling across the nation, the Supreme Court on Monday struck down a federal law that effectively banned such gambling in most states.
The case concerned New Jersey, but it has implications for other states eager to allow and tax sports gambling. Americans are estimated to annually place $150 billion in illegal wagers on sports.

Trump winning 'bigly' but media attacks continue
This past week President Trump had another bout of winning, though you’d never know it from most media coverage.
CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta synopsized it nicely, and was much mocked by conservatives on Twitter: “Obama policies dumped by Trump: Iran deal, Paris Climate Agreement, Trans-Pacific Trade Deal, DACA, ObamaCare Individual Mandate.”
Twitter’s right side piled on, with The Federalist Co-Founder Sean Davis noting how Acosta was “running campaign ads for Trump.” Acosta apparently failed to understand how getting rid of Obama programs was a feature, not a bug, of the Trump presidency.
President Trump added to his list of achievements with a huge win in North Korea, another against ISIS and a particularly enjoyable one as a top opponent’s entire career melted down in the space of minutes.
The president’s latest winning streak was kicked into high gear at the intersection of two stories the media covered poorly this past week. They involved two of the three members of President George W. Bush’s famous “Axis of Evil” – Iran and North Korea.

Without Firing a Shot — Review: 'Three Days in Moscow: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of the Soviet Empire' by Bret Baier and Catherine Whitney
When liberal historian John Patrick Diggins informed Arthur Schlesinger Jr. that he was writing a biography of Ronald Reagan, Schlesinger urged him not to make Reagan "look too good."
But unlike Schlesinger, who made "his" president—John F. Kennedy—look too good (i.e., an Arthurian king who would have ended the Cold War had he dodged Lee Harvey Oswald's bullets), Diggins was an old-fashioned historian, the kind who followed the evidence no matter where it led.
And the evidence—Reagan's diaries, declassified papers, and above all the speeches—led Diggins into declaring Reagan one of the three greatest presidents, alongside Abraham Lincoln and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
But Diggins was an apostate among liberals who have then and now sought to deny Reagan credit for winning the Cold War. Some have proclaimed Mikhail Gorbachev the true hero who ended the conflict rather than the "lightweight" and "mentally challenged" Reagan. For those who think America did win, they have credited the victory as the result of Harry Truman’s containment policy, the purpose of which was to destroy the faulty Soviet economy by hemming the Russians in.

Hillary Clinton: Large Portion of U.S. 'Uneasy,' 'Angry' About Women Seeking Power
This week in Australia during an interview with Julia Gillard, Australia’s first female prime minister, 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said there was still “a very large proportion of the population” that she said was uneasy with women in positions of leadership.
Clinton said, “There is still a very large proportion of the population that is uneasy with women in positions of leadership, and so the easiest way to kind of avoid having to look at someone on her merits is to dismiss her on her looks.”
When asked about the “lock her up” chants, Clinton added, “There is this fear, there is this anger, even rage about women seeking power, women exercising power, and people fall back on these attacks, like you’re a witch or you should go to prison, or whatever it is. And the enthusiasm with which that is generated speaks to a much deeper sense of alienation that people still have toward woman leaders. It’s not a majority, thank goodness, it’s not, but it’s a very vocal minority, at least in my country. And sometimes these tropes are very much part of the press coverage.”

Sarah Sanders says whining kids best practice for dealing with CNN's Jim Acosta
While White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders cherishes her role as a mother to three children 6 years and under, she doesn’t shy away from the fact that there are difficult motherhood days – similar to dealing with CNN’s Jim Acosta.
“Both of them whine pretty regularly. They both like to ask the same questions and sometimes their tone needs to be adjusted a little bit. So I think that having kids has prepared me for the job that I have right now,” Sanders responded to the Daily Caller question: “What’s more difficult: Dealing with your children on an onerous day or dealing with [CNN reporter] Jim Acosta?”
“In all seriousness, I think that having kids is great preparation for anything – especially a job you need patience for and they have certainly prepared me for this one,” said Sanders...

Minnesota Democrats wage war on God, faith and American history
A bill in the Minnesota Senate that would allow schools in the state to voluntarily display the national motto “In God We Trust” has state Democrats spiraling into fits of outrage, because God offends them.
By waging war on God, they are showing contempt for people of faith and disregard for the history of our country.
On the floor of the Minnesota Senate, Democratic Sen. Scott Dibble suggested using “Allah” in place of “God” – as in “In Allah We Trust.” Dibble wondered how the bill’s sponsor, Republican Sen. Dan Hall, would react, since the words “God” and “Allah” (an Arabic word) mean the same thing.
Here’s a little history lesson for Dibble.
“In God We Trust” was recognized as our nation’s motto more than 200 years ago when Francis Scott Key penned it in “The Star Spangled Banner” as he watched the Battle of Fort McHenry during the War of 1812. He wrote: “And this be our motto – ‘In God is our trust.’
So this motto goes almost as far back as the founding of our country. It’s very much ingrained in our heritage.

Federal Judge Releases Illegal Alien Who Rammed Car into Daycare Center
A federal judge released an illegal alien who has now disappeared after being taken into custody for allegedly ramming a car into a daycare center, causing serious injuries to a teacher.
Juana Loa-Nunez was arrested on May 7 after she allegedly crashed her car into an Indiana church daycare center and then fled the scene, WTHR Channel 13 reported.
One teacher, Jessica Parks, was hit during the accident and suffered a broken leg and other injuries.
Loa-Nunez is reportedly an illegal alien who has no driver’s license. She was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, but by Friday, authorities released the suspect from jail without notifying U.S. immigration officials. The suspect has since disappeared, authorities said.
But Marion County sheriffs deflected the criticism by saying a federal judge ordered them to release the suspect.
“Judge Sarah Evans Barker has ruled that ICE must provide a criminal warrant or a criminal probable cause affidavit for the County to detain undocumented individuals. ICE failed to provide such documentation, despite receiving timely notice. Thus, ICE allowed this individual to go free,” the sheriff’s department retorted in a release of its own.
The sheriff’s department added that immigration is a federal matter and not an Indiana law enforcement issue and noted that if ICE has a problem, it should take it up with Judge Barker, a Ronald Reagan appointee who has been on the bench since 1984.

Former Obama Aide Rips Steyer for Inflammatory Anti-GOP Ad: 'You're Wasting Money'
Former Barack Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett tweeted his frustration Friday with Tom Steyer over his super PAC's new inflammatory anti-Republican ad, calling it a waste of money and "counterproductive and annoying."
The left-wing billionaire's NextGen America released an ad called "Mothers Day," depicting a woman talking about her troubled son's actions growing up, such as stealing from poorer kids and screaming anti-abortion messages at women. At the end of the ad, she reveals her son's "college buddies" are the tiki-torch wielding white supremacists at last August's rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
"Only a mother can catch the signs early," the mother says. "This Mother's Day, talk to your child about the GOP. I wish I had."
The on-screen graphic then calls on the viewer to "vote them out."

"Only a mother can catch the signs early," the mother says. "This Mother's Day, talk to your child about the GOP. I wish I had."
The on-screen graphic then calls on the viewer to "vote them out."

Hillary blames superficial voters for making her spend 600 'exhausting' campaign hours doing hair, makeup
Now we know why Hillary Clinton wasn’t able to campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin: She was forced to spend so much time looking more presentable to all those sexist American voters who only care about appearance!
During a book event in Australia this week, the failed presidential candidate once again disparaged Americans, saying the double standard for male and female candidates put her at a disadvantage.
“The double standard is alive and well, and it is more difficult for women in public positions — we’ll talk about politics, but it’s true in business, it’s true in media, it’s just true across the board,” Clinton asserted to Julia Gillard, the former Australia prime minister.
“Because there are expectations about womens appearances that are deep within our collective DNA,” she claimed, “so that people feel free to comment, either favorably or unfavorably about hairstyles, clothing fashions, and all the rest of it,” the friend of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour said.

CNN, MSNBC Have Given Stormy Daniels Lawyer Michael Avenatti $175 Million in Earned Media Time
Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti has earned nearly $175 million in free media during his appearances on cable outlets MSNBC and CNN over the past two months, a Washington Free Beacon analysis shows.
Daniels, a porn actress whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, claims she slept with President Donald Trump in 2006 and received a $130,000 hush payment from Trump's attorney Michael Cohen. She has also said she was physically threatened to keep silent about it. Trump has denied the affair.
The Washington Free Beacon analyzed 108 appearances by Avenatti on MSNBC and CNN over a 64-day period from March 7 to May 10. To calculate his earned media time, the Free Beacon multiplied the length of his appearances on a program by its "National Publicity Value" determination from media monitoring site TVEyes.com.

President Trump Fulfills Prophecies and Moves Our Embassy to Jerusalem
In but a few moments ancient prophecies will be fulfilled and veritable truths realized when the United States moves its embassy to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem. It will also be a day when we will remember the strength and courage of the man who made it happen: President Donald Trump.
Over the past decades the United States Congress was sincere when voting overwhelmingly to relocate our embassy from Tel Aviv, Israel’s largest city, to Jerusalem, Israel’s dedicated capital. It made sense; after all, every country in the world decides the location of its capital and embassies are located in those capitals. It also was the right thing to do. Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel ever since King David 3,000 years ago consecrated Jerusalem as Judea's capital. Soon, he drafted the plans for The Holy Temple and almost immediately thereafter his son, Solomon, built the palaces and ancient temple on those lofty hills. Everyone knows this.
The U.S. embassy will move to Jerusalem, May, 14, 2018, 70 years after the founding of Israel, resurrected as the Jewish state, in May, 1948. Seventy years is a completed life time, as the Psalmist states: "The years of our life are seventy years". Seventy years in Jewish outlook is an historical time unit, representing a significant chapter in human history. Seventy years after the first Temple was burned by the Babylonian Nebuchadnezzar and the Jews were driven into Exile, the exile ended and many returned to Israel and rebuilt Jerusalem. Seventy years signifies completion and full circle.
The Muslims, through sword and blood, confiscated Jerusalem’s holy mount by erecting a mosque where the Temple once stood. They did so, as they have throughout centuries of armed invasions, to make a monument to their conquest of the land and to erase its previous, legitimate history..

How do civil wars happen?
Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can’t settle the question through elections because they don’t even agree that elections are how you decide who’s in charge.
That’s the basic issue here. Who decides who runs the country?
When you disagree with, or even hate each other but accept the election results, you have a country. When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.
The Mueller investigation is about removing President Trump from office and overturning the results of an election. We all know that. But it’s not the first time they’ve done this. The first time a Republican president was elected this century, they said he didn’t really win. The Supreme Court gave him the election. There’s a pattern here.
What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican president really mean? It means they don’t accept the results of any election that they don’t win. It means they don’t believe that transfers of power in this country are determined by elections. That’s a civil war.
There’s no shooting. At least not unless you count the attempt to kill a bunch of Republicans at a charity baseball game practice. But the Democrats have rejected our system of government.
This isn’t dissent. It’s not disagreement. You can hate the other party. You can think they’re the worst thing that ever happened to the country. But then you work harder to win the next election.
When you consistently reject the results of elections that you don’t win, what you want is a dictatorship. Your very own dictatorship.
The only legitimate exercise of power in this country, according to Democrats, is their own. Whenever Republicans exercise power, it’s inherently illegitimate. The Democrats lost Congress They lost the White House. So what did they do? They began trying to run the country through Federal judges and bureaucrats. Every time that a Federal judge issues an order saying that the President of the United States can’t scratch his own back without his say so, that’s the civil war.

Our system of government is based on the constitution, but that’s not the system that runs this country. The Democrat's system is that any part of government that it runs gets total and unlimited power over the country.
If the Democrats are in the White House, then the president can do anything. And I mean anything. He can have his own amnesty for illegal aliens. He can fine you for not having health insurance His power is unlimited. He’s a dictator. (This was a passed law.)
But when Republicans get into the White House, suddenly the President can’t do anything. He isn’t even allowed to undo the illegal alien amnesty that his predecessor illegally invented. A Democrat in the White House has “discretion” to completely decide every aspect of immigration policy. A Republican doesn’t even have the “discretion” to reverse him. That’s how the game is played. That’s how our country is run. Sad but true, although the left hasn’t yet won that particular fight.
When a Democrat is in the White House, states aren’t even allowed to enforce immigration law. But when a Republican is in the White House, states can create their own immigration laws. Under Obama, a state wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom without asking permission. But under Trump, Jerry Brown can go around saying that California is an independent republic and sign treaties with other countries. (Have not heard the treaties, but may be true.)
The Constitution has something to say about that.
Whether it’s Federal or State, Executive, Legislative or Judiciary, the left moves power around to run the country. If it controls an institution, then that institution is suddenly the supreme power in the land. This is a moving dictatorship.
Donald Trump has caused the Shadow Government to come out of hiding: Professional government is a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can’t serve in if you’re not a member. If you haven’t been indoctrinated into its arcane rituals. If you aren’t in the club. Trump isn’t in the club and he brought in a bunch of people who aren’t in the club with him.
Now we’re seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on them. They spy on them, they investigate them and they send them to jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down.
That’s not a free country.
It’s not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out an “insurance policy” against Trump winning the election. It’s not a free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the opposition. It’s not a free country when the media responds to the other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that supported him from social media. It’s not a free country when all of the above collude together to overturn an election because the guy who elected wasn’t supposed to win.
Have no doubt, we’re in a civil war between conservative volunteer government and a leftist Democrat professional government.
Government Stimulus
Three Contractors Bid On Repair To The White House Fence.... One is from Chicago, another is from Kentucky, and the third is from New Orleans.
All three go with a White House official to examine the fence.
The New Orleans contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. "Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $9,000. That's $4,000 for materials, $4,000 for my crew and $1,000 profit for me."
The Kentucky contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $7,000. That's $3,000 for materials, $3,000 for my crew and $1,000 profit for me."
The Chicago contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, "$27,000."
The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys!! How did you come up with such a high figure???
"The Chicago contractor whispers back, "$10,000 for me, $10,000 for you, and we hire the guy from Kentucky to fix the fence"
"Done!" replies the government official.
And that, my friends, is how the Government Stimulus plan works...
Remember... Four boxes keep us free; the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the ammunition box!
