List of liberal, progressive and / or anti-Trump companies

The first rule of business is to never even discuss politics. Well these companies have broken that Cardinal rule, thus alienating half the country. These companies are a threat to not just conservative speech but free speech and freedom in general. Obviously it may be impossible to boycott all of these, but just keep in mind that there are ways to partially boycott them (example: Not buying food / drinks, uniforms if you attend NFL games). Try to support other companies instead.

ICE ignores California laws and arrests illegal aliens at the courthouse door

In 2018, California implemented the California Values Act, which gave special protection to illegal aliens by mandating that California law enforcement agencies cannot cooperate with federal immigration authorities. Last week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) thumbed its nose at California and arrested two people in Sonoma County Superior Court.

California has lots of reasons to hang onto its roughly 2.2 – 3.5 million illegal immigrants. They provide cheap, easily-exploited labor. They swell the state’s population, which matters for electors and congresspeople, as well as the distribution of certain federal funds. As illegal immigrants are fed into the system, they provide reliable (legal or illegal) Democrat votes. And they make Californians feel virtuous even as they allow corrupt Latin American states to continue exploiting their own citizens and destroying their economies by relying on remittances from people illegally in America.

For these reasons, California enacted the pompously named “California Values Act.” Although the act refers to “immigrants,” it’s obviously intended to affect only illegal aliens because the Act’s entire purpose is to use the agencies of the state to prevent ICE from gaining access to people illegally in California – including people who have committed crimes in California. This is the type of law that could only come from legislators and other virtue signalers ensconced in comfortable middle- and upper-middle-class enclaves unaffected by felonies that would never have happened but for open borders and sanctuaries.

Bernie Sanders launches ANOTHER massive spending commitment with plan for free child care and pre-K from 'tax on billionaires' after victory in Nevada but dodges question on how much it will cost

Bernie Sanders unveiled his plan for 'universal childcare' in an interview Sunday – saying the new federal benefit will be funded by a tax on wealth.

The senator from Vermont defended the plan even as he takes fire from more centrist presidential rivals who have questioned the multi-trillion cost of his Medicare for All plan.

'It's taxes on billionaires,' he told host Anderson Cooper on CBS' '60 Minutes' Sunday.

MSNBC HOPES A ‘GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS’ WILL HELP DEMOCRATS WIN IN 2020

Talking heads on MSNBC gleefully imagined how an economic disaster could derail President Trump’s reelection this November.

MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle and CNBC contributor Dan Nathan discussed Friday how the current positive state of the economy would effect Democrat odds in 2020, with Nathan asserting with no evidence that a “global financial crisis” could give Democrats the leg up they need to defeat Trump.

“The labor market is really tight, and economically, in an election year, that could pose a really big problem when you think about it here because we’re just not seeing the sort of economic growth that you might expect at this stage of the recovery over the last ten years,” Nathan said.

White House: Drug Prices Dropped 11 Percent Under Trump

A White House Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) report released this week found that drug prices fell by more than 11 percent under President Donald Trump.

A White House CEA report found that President Trump’s actions have reduced prescription drug prices. The CEA detailed that, under former President Barack Obama, drug prices continued to increase and only started to fall after Trump took the oath of office.

The CEA wrote that prescription drug prices fell more than 11 percent and well below general inflation.

“In 2018, prescription drug prices even declined in nominal terms over the calendar year for the first time since 1972,” the White House council wrote.

Lithuanian Immigrant to Bernie Supporters: ‘Go to a Socialist Country and Live There a While’

A Lithuanian immigrant who attended President Donald Trump’s rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday spoke to Breitbart News and warned of the dangers of communism, saying Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) supporters “should go to a socialist country” to understand what it is like.

“I thought America is free,” said Daiva Gaulyte, an immigrant from Lithuania who has lived under communism. “I’ve been in a communist country. I don’t want to have it here.”

“The communist took away my grandparents’ land, they transported them to Siberia, and then when they got all this land, they didn’t know what to do with them because they’re lazy,” Gaulyte continued. “Communists are lazy.”

“There is nothing they can do with that land so they gave lands back to work on it, but it was very difficult to have any kind of profit, but you could work on it because the lands were just sitting there and communists didn’t know what to do with it.”

Gaulyte also explained how she was restricted from viewing certain American materials under the rule of communism.

Adopted Boy Makes It His Mission to Save Old Dogs Who Need a Home

An eight-year-old boy who has been adopted out of the foster care system has made it his mission in life to save old dogs who need a home.

“There’s something about old dogs that I just like,” Robbie Gay told CBS News.

It is mostly because he sees much of himself in them, because he was so badly abused as a child he had to be hospitalized twice for brain injuries.

Two years ago, Maria and Charles Gay made the decision to adopt him.

“He knows what it feels like not to be loved and cared for. He’s the most hopeful, optimistic, and genuinely caring kid who has absolutely no reason to be that way,” said Robbie’s adoptive mother, Maria.

Maria said her adopted son had come a long way, except for the fact that he could not cry. Despite all that he had been through, or maybe because of all that he had suffered, he had not shed a tear — until earlier in the month when one of Robbie’s older dogs, Buffy, had to be euthanized.

He insisted that he hold Buffy until the very end and that his mother take pictures of the entire process. After Robbie finally let go of Buffy, he told his mother, “I know how it feels not to be loved or cared for, and I don’t want any animal of mine to feel that way.”

The Albany Jewish Community Center in New York closed early Sunday following the threat and was evacuated as police, who were notified around 11:05 a.m. EST, swept through the building, found nothing amiss, and cleared the scene.

Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the threat, which was also emailed to several other Jewish centers nationwide, is under investigation and expressed his support for Jewish residents in his state.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – High school students won’t have to be “proficient” in either math or English to graduate, under minimum required test scores proposed by State Superintendent Paolo DeMaria.

They will just need to know enough to do the most basic of jobs.

New high school graduation requirements passed this summer require most students to show “competency” in math and English through scores on Ohio’s Algebra I and English II tests to qualify for a diploma. The new requirements start with the class 2023, this year’s high school freshmen.

Global outbreak causes coronavirus pandemic fears after cases jump in Italy, South Korea and Iran

Fears of a global pandemic continue to grow as coronavirus cases spike in several countries, including Italy, South Korea and Iran and the U.S. stock market nosedived early Monday.

A staggering 50 people died in the Iranian city of Qom from the new coronavirus in the month of February, Iran's semiofficial ILNA news agency reported on Monday. The new death toll is significantly higher than the latest number of confirmed cases that Iranian officials had reported just a few hours earlier, which stood at just 12 deaths out of 47 cases, according to state TV.

The 50 deaths date back as far as Feb. 13, according to an Iranian official. Iran previously reported its cases and deaths from the virus on Feb. 19.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, on Sunday revealed the questions his panel wants answered about why the FBI launched an investigation into former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

“Now, I want to know, what did McCabe and Comey know, when did they know that the dossier was unreliable?” Graham (R-SC) said in an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

He was referring to former FBI Director James Comey, former acting Director Andrew McCabe and a dossier compiled by one-time British spy Christopher Steele.

‘It Destroyed My Body’: Here’s Why This Former Trans Woman Regrets His Gender Transition

A man who once transitioned to a woman said the process destroyed his body and that it is “categorically impossible for anyone to change their innate chemistry” in an interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Walt Heyer’s grandmother dressed him as a girl in a purple dress when he was between the ages of four and six, Heyer said. Though Heyer described how he initially enjoyed the extra attention he received from his grandmother’s affirmations, he said her actions later caused him to experience gender dysphoria.

“Affirmation of cross gender/sex identities is child abuse, and I have been dealing with the consequences in my life for 75 years,” he warned.

AOC’s war on fellow Democrats likely to eliminate her House seat

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wasn’t just supporting women in announcing a slate of seven House candidates who’ll get cash from her Courage to Change PAC: The key fact is that two of them are challenging incumbents.

Indeed, she and her allies are now targeting several longtime local lawmakers, on the theory that they’re every bit as much of a problem as Republicans.

“It’s time to elect a progressive majority in Congress accountable to strong, grassroots movements that push support for issues like Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, racial justice, & more,” she tweeted Friday.

“My ambition right now is to be a little less lonely in Congress,” AOC told The New York Times.

Democrat food fight scheduled for Tuesday night in Charleston

The fallout from the last Democrat debate hasn't settled, and the next one is already upon us. It's Tuesday, February 25 in Charleston, S.C. This one should be just as amusing as was the Nevada one.

Voting in the Nevada caucus was held this Saturday. With luck, the Democrats might be able to present the results by the time the Charleston debate rolls around. If the polls are accurate, Bernie Sanders should be victorious there. This means he will have a target on his back on Tuesday night. Mike Bloomberg will have to step up and go after the Jurassic socialist hammer-and-tongs if he hopes to be the savior of the Stop Bernie movement. My betting is that Bloomberg will try but won't lay a glove on Crazy Bernie, at least not in the eyes of Democrat primary voters.

But Bloomberg won't be on the offensive long. Aside from the baggage he is already carrying, Mini Mike will have an additional problem: the Charleston debate is being sponsored by CBS News and the Congressional Black Caucus Institute. Accordingly, he can expect sharp questions about what is construed as his racially insensitive remarks like his ham-fisted defense of "stop and frisk," comments about blacks and Hispanics not knowing how to behave in the workplace, and his defense of "redlining" in mortgage applications.

Bernie Sanders defends 'not all bad' Fidel Castro as he stands by old remarks praising Communist Cuba and admits he's 'shocked' to be Democrat frontrunner during 60 Minutes interview

Bernie Sanders has praised Fidel Castro's 'massive literacy program', standing by comments he made praising the dictator's rule of Cuba in the 1980s.

The Democratic frontrunner and socialist, 78, defended the Communist regime as 'not all bad' during a wide-ranging 60 Minutes interview which aired Sunday.

During the interview, he told Anderson Cooper: 'We're very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba but you know, it's unfair to simply say everything is bad. You know?

'When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?'

Ex-Bill Clinton adviser: Bloomberg and Hillary cooking up 'scheme' for her to become Democratic nominee

A former adviser to President Bill Clinton speculated that Michael Bloomberg and Hillary Clinton are plotting a way for her to become the 2020 Democratic nominee even though she’s not in the race.

“Here’s the deal that I think is going down. I think Hillary and Bloomberg have gotten together and cooked up a scheme,” Dick Morris told John Catsimatidis on The Cats Roundtable radio show on Sunday.

He said Bloomberg would stay in the race, even if he has no chance of winning, in an effort to get at least enough support to keep Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders from running away with the nomination.

“Nobody will be nominated on the first ballot, and it’ll go to a second ballot,” Morris said of a brokered convention. “The problem is that the party establishment doesn’t have a candidate. They can’t do Bloomberg because he got killed in the debate. … Can’t do [Joe] Biden because he’s already lost the front-runner status. … [Pete] Buttigieg looks like a high school kid at the Model UN. … [Elizabeth] Warren is third, but she’s pretty far to the Left, and they’re not going to want to trust her.”

Murphy: Trump Administration Is Weaponizing Classified Information

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” accused the Trump administration of weaponizing classified information.

He said there were “multiple instances” of this occurring.

Murphy said, “What I am worried about is the politicization of intelligence by this administration. The new acting head of intelligence has no background in intel. He is a trump loyalist, and we all worry about this administration controlling massive amounts of intelligence, massive amounts of classified information, and leaking it out to the press when it advantages them. I have been very worried about the kind of information that the Trump administration keeps classified.”

The company already employs more than 2,500 people at distribution centers in New Castle and Middletown, as well as a truck yard in the state, but it is now seeking to occupy a next-generation facility being built by Nevada-based developer Dermody Properties on the old automotive manufacturing plant site.

Oops: Intelligence Official 'Misled' Lawmakers About Russia Helping Trump Win Re-election

The top election security official for the intelligence community, Shelby Pierson, reportedly misled members of the House Intelligence Committee during a briefing on Russia's efforts to interfere in the 2020 election, with the goal of helping President Donald Trump, according to three national security officials familiar with the matter as well as National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien.

Pierson reportedly told lawmakers that Russia was interfering in the 2020 election with the aim of helping President Trump win re-election, despite no evidence suggesting that was Russia's intention. Concerns over the lack of evidence backing Pierson's claim were raised in response to a New York Times' report about the intelligence briefing, making vague assertions that Russia's efforts were intended to help the president's bid for re-election. Members of the intelligence community are now saying there is no evidence to back up Pierson's claim.

Chris Matthews facing calls to resign for comparing Sanders Nevada victory to Nazi invasion of France

MSNBC host Chris Matthews is facing backlash online for equating Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders's win in the 2020 Nevada Democratic caucuses to the Nazi regime's takeover of France.

During a conversation with MSNBC anchor Brian Williams Saturday night, the Hardball host likened the democratic socialist's decisive victory in Nevada to the Nazi's victory over France in World War II.

"I was reading last night, Brian — I know that you're a history guy — I'm reading last night about the fall of France in the summer of 1940," Matthews said. "And the general, Reynaud, calls up Churchill and says, 'It's over.' And Churchill says, 'How can it be? You've got the greatest army in Europe. How can it be over?' He said, 'It's over.'"

Trump: I Wasn't Told Russia Was Helping Sanders

Democratic panic over Sanders reaches fever pitch as socialist candidate cements front-runner status

Tensions between Democratic Party loyalists and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders are reaching a boiling point as the democratic socialist cemented his front-runner status for the party's 2020 presidential nomination.

Ahead of his decisive victory in the Nevada caucuses, Sanders tweeted out a message that has been a central theme in his campaign: "I've got news for the Republican establishment. I've got news for the Democratic establishment. They can't stop us."

Such a message, though pivotal to his campaign and adorned by his supporters, sparked anger among traditional Democrats across media and politics. With strong Sanders showings in the early voting state contests so far, multiple candidates in the Democratic field have begun ripping the Vermont senator for his ideology of socialism, which they claim is not representative of the public.

'Haven't seen that analysis': National security adviser contradicts reports on Russia helping Trump reelection

"I haven't seen any intelligence that Russia is doing anything to attempt to get President Trump reelected," O'Brien said, calling the rumor a "nonstory."
