Bubba Sez....

Schools are not considered in the annexation process because schools are not his problem, it's the county's problem. Do you think it's safe to say Bubba doesn't consider anything in the annexation process, other than KICKBACKS and how much of the tax payer dollars they can give away to developers? This moron wants to be R NECKS MARE

A Comment I Just Had To Post

"John McCain flew over here -- and crashed on the Eastern Shore of Virginia -- in 1965. And it was reported in the Daily Times 43 years later!"

ROTFLMAO!

OMG! Check Out This Photo Of Obama

Do YOU See what he's reading! Pass this on!

This SHOULD open your eyes. What IS IT THAT Obama does read?

...is reading 'The Post-American World' -- IT IS THE MUSLIM/ISLAMIC VIEW TO DESTROY AMERICA FROM WITHIN.

The Kratovil Station Lowers Their Prices

Give credit where credit is due. The Kratovil Station on Rt. 50 lowered their prices while the competitor across the street is still holding stead above $3.00 a gallon.

Although many other Stations have dropped their prices much lower than this, it's good to see the Democrats getting on board and slowly lowering their prices.

Lynn Cathcart Knows Joe Albero's Mole In The SPD

I was at the Crime Task Force Meeting last week and Lynn Cathcart came up to me and said. "WE know who your Mole is Joe."

I thought to myself, what in the hell is this woman talking about. So I said, what the hell are you talking about Lynn? She replied, "WE know who your Mole is in the Salisbury Police Department, it's Kenny."

I thought to myself, Kenny? Now I have only known three Kenny's in my time, none of which have anything to do with the SPD. So I replied, OK Lynn, if you say so. She just chuckled thinking she was really onto me.

As I was leaving the building that evening I again asked Lynn, who is Kenny? She laughed and said, you'll figure it out. She then walked away laughing like she was still in middle school.

To make a long story short, Kenny is Lynn Cathcarts Son in Law, the guy that got punched in the head by a SU Football Player. I guess Lynn, Barrie Tilghman and Chief Webster really have me now because they believe Kenny is the one who filled me in on that event BEFORE they had even finished processing the paperwork for the arrests.

Lynn, ask your Son In Law if he was the one who told me. When you get his truthful answer and you still don't believe him, know that you are a paranoid woman who claims she never reads my Blog, yet you know everything that goes on here and challenges me about articles I have written.

Also think about this while you're at it. "WE" means more than just yourself. When anyone reading this Post finishes this article, I would bet that 99% of them know that "WE" means the Mayor and Webster as well. Some Mother In Law you've turned out to be Lynn!

MOCK CRASH EVENT HELD TO HELP PREVENT TEEN DRIVING CRASHES

Wicomico County has an average of 585 crashes involving young drivers (ages 16-21) each year. On average 407 crashes cause injury and 3 crashes cause the deaths of teenagers. Young drivers were involved in more crashes during the winter months of October through December than any other season.*

To combat these numbers, the Wicomico County Highway Safety Task Force is hosting a “Mock Crash” at Wicomico Senior High School on Thursday October 16 at 8:15 am. Wicomico High School will be hosting students from Mardela High School as well.

A “Mock Crash” is when 2 cars are placed as if they have just crashed and emergency personnel act as if the crash is real from the 911 call to the end. Participants this year include the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Salisbury Fire Dept., Life Net Medivac Helicopter, Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury City Police Dept., Fruitland Police Dept. Students from
Wi-Hi and Mardela High School, and Trauma Nurses from PRMC.

Speaking to the students after the crash will be Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis, John Holloway from Holloway Funeral Home and Jody Elliott whose brother was tragically killed in a car crash

Note to press— To maintain some realism for the students, please act as if the crash is real until its conclusion. Students will be made available to you after the event if you would like to talk to them.

Leave It To Andy Harris To CUT THE PORK

The main item on the menu at yesterday's fundraiser was PORK. Yes, it was very important to show the voters that Congressional Candidate Andy Harris will burn it and cut it every opportunity he gets.

This is the ONLY way Republicans can enjoy PORK while the Democrats look at this photo and say to themselves, isn't that a PIG? Meaning, they still to this day don't know what PORK is.

PORK is for eating, not taxing.

This Just In

"Joe, YOUR stock drops every time you show such hate and disrespect for one of the oldest and most respected companies in town, where hardworking folks are giving THEIR best effort in ALL departments to put out the best quality product they can, all with LESS money and LESS resources from the parent company. Shame on you!"

I'm bowing my head in shame, IF that makes YOU feel any better? NOT!

IF the Daily Times and Gannett weren't so one sided with their so called news I'd hold much more respect for this Company. I purchase that paper every day and I can see the quality dropping dramatically. This was public information. Oh, but NOT in the Daily Times once again.

Now go back to work and start showing up at events and become a Newspaper again.

Andy Harris Fundraiser Is A Huge Success

Mike Lewis and A. Kay Kenney Hosted a huge fundraiser yesterday at the McIver residence for the Andy Harris for Congress Campaign.

While I'm not going to put up names, many people, (including Democrats) showed up in support of Andy Harris and were able to sit one on one with Andy and ask some pretty tough questions. In the end, each and every one of them left the gathering convinced they are voting for Andy Harris.

Mark & Hala McIver sure do know how to throw a party!

New Computer Technology At Greenwood Mennonite School

Greenwood Mennonite School is excited to announce a new computer technology partnership with School Technology Programs in association with Boston University and the University of Richmond.

School Technology Programs has been helping schools implement integrated technology programs since 1992. They are currently partnering with over 130 private schools. There is a lot of excitement as G.M.S. prepares for advancing our students’ skills in preparation for post high school careers and service! This new partnership will establish Greenwood Mennonite School as a center of technology education for our area.

We are pleased to move forward this school year with new computer technology classes for students in grades 1-8. Our partnership with School Technology Programs will provide curriculum and staff training enabling us to integrate technology into classroom studies. Our students will use the computer to develop projects and presentations.

Beginning in the second term, students in grades 1-8 will learn 350 objectives in 9 different computer technology areas. The technology areas will include: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphic design, desktop publishing, web page design, operating systems, internet navigation and multimedia to complete a project.

At the conclusion of each project integrated project books will be printed and sent home with the students. The integrated project books will include a project cover, parent letter, research sheets, color projects and an assessment lesson. There are 4 new projects each year, 1 for each quarter.

School Technology Programs in association with Boston University and the University of Richmond provide resource support for the school to assist teachers, students and parents. The resources include university web links to 1,800 of the best educational websites. The support has a Student Electronic Resource Center that includes research paper and college essay formats, resume writing and interview guides, Microsoft applications help guide, Cornell note taking system, lab formats, hot links to related web sites and downloadable templates. They also provide access to hundreds of educational resource links through the University of Richmond’s virtual library.

The program provides for comprehensive ongoing support for technology coordinators and teachers. It includes project orientation sessions for computer technology teachers, computer lab support visits, open lab support time, unlimited e-mail and phone support, and C.E.U. credit from Boston University and the University of Richmond.

We are planning to begin this program this year for grades 1-8 and to expand to go through the high school grades next year. We are well on our way to fully funding this program with no additional cost to parents.

Celebrating 80 years of Christian education, Greenwood Mennonite School serves a multi-denominational student body in grades Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12. Our students are representative of 30 different local churches in surrounding communities. We are a member of the Mid-Atlantic Christian School Association, The Mennonite Elementary Education Council and the Peninsula Athletic Christian Conference.

We encourage you to visit our web site @ http://www.gms-flames.org or contact our school office @ 302-349-4131 to learn more details about Greenwood Mennonite School.

Palin Meets Pope

The Pope is visiting DC, and Palin takes him out for an afternoon on the Potomac . They're admiring the sights when, all of a sudden, the Pope's hat blows off his head and out into the water. Secret service guys start to launch a boat, but Palin waves them off, saying "Wait, wait. I'll take care of this. Don't worry."

Palin steps onto the surface of the water and walks out to the Holy Father's little hat, bends over and picks it up, then walks back. She hands the hat to the Pope amid stunned silence.

The next morning, the Washington Post, NY TImes, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, Duvall and CNN carry a story, complete with photos of the event. The banner headline reads: "Palin Can't Swim!"

Chicago Politics

In the last six months 292 people murdered in Chicago

221 killed in Iraq

The leadership in Illinois ... all Democrats.

Senators: Barack Obama & Dick Durbin

Representative: Jesse Jackson Jr.

Governor: Rod Blogojevich

House leader: Mike Madigan

Atty. General: Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike)

Mayor: Richard M. Daley (son of former Mayor Richard J. Daley)

Chicago is a combat zone. Of course they're all blaming each other.

Can't blame Republicans -- there aren't any!

State pension fund $44 billion in debt, worst in the country

Cook County sales tax 10.25% highest in the country

Chicago school system, one of the worst in the country.

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois..

And, he is going to fix Washington politics?

The Liberal Double Standard Continues

New York City's teacher's union - the United Federation of Teachers - is suing to lift a ban on teachers wearing partisan political buttons at school.  Their claim is that the ban violates teachers' right to free speech.

The rule sends "the wrong message to our students," UFT president Randi Weingarten said in a statement.

"We are just weeks away from a landmark presidential election that is being discussed in classrooms and at dinner tables across the nation," she said.

"Students can only benefit from being exposed to and engaged in a dialogue about current events, civic responsibilities and the political process."

All of this sounds lovely.  If the members of the UFT were actually teaching Johnny to read, I would be far more impressed.  Read More ...

Question of the Day, Mon 10/13

This week is National School Lunch Week?

Does your child pack or buy? What's their favorite school lunch?

What was your favorite school lunch when you were in school?

My husband loved the Cheeseburgers, tatertots and strawberry eclairs. He jokes with the kids when they get home from school, asking them if they bought him a lunch and put it in their bookbags.

I`m Voting Dumbocrat

I'm voting Dumbocrat because --English has no place being the official language in America.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because --I'd rather pay $4 for a Gallon of gas than allow drilling for oil off the coasts of America.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because-- I think the government will Do a better job of spending my money than I could.

I'm voting Dumbocrat --because when we pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq, I know the Islamic terrorists will Stop trying to kill us because they'll think we're a Good and decent country.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because-- I believe people who Can't tell us if it will rain in two or three days, can Now tell us the polar ice caps will disappear in ten years
If I don't start riding a bicycle, Build a windmill or inflate my tires to proper levels.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because --it's all right to kill Millions of babies as long as we keep violent, Convicted murderers on death row alive.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because --I believe businesses In America should not be allowed to make profits. Businesses should just break even and give the rest To the government so politicians and bureaucrats Can redistribute the money the way they think it Should be redistributed.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because --I believe guns, and not the People misusing them, are the cause of crimes and killings.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because-- when someone with a Weapon threatens my family or me, I know the government can Respond faster through a call to 911 than I can with a gun in my hand.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because-- oil companies' 5% Profit on a gallon of gas are obscene, but government Taxes of 18% on the same gallon of gas are just fine.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because --I believe three or four Elitist liberals should rewrite the Constitution every Few months to suit some fringe element that could never Get their agenda past voters.

I'm voting Dumbocrat because--- illegal aliens are not Criminals, are not sucking up resources through government aid, Hospital services, education, or social services, But are just people trying to make a better life by coming to America illegally. We can't blame them for that, can we?

I'm voting Dumbocrat because--- now I can marry Whatever I want, so I've decided to marry my horse.
