JOE ALBERO, YOU'RE #1

The reception I get whenever I go anywhere is more than just touching! Being President of the "What A Guy Club" has heightened my credibility everywhere I go and ever since I was a small child my Mother told me about this "you're #1 sign," always smile back and wave, she said.

I never understood why my Father never went into NASCAR Racing because "everyone" thought he was #1 too, even if he was just pulling into a parking space!

Even Barrie Tilghman, Mayor of the City of Salisbury has shared the love many times and believes I'm #1 too! It doesn't get any better than this folks. Thank You! As long as I can continue to get so much support I'll be there for you through good times and through bad.

Salisbury Union Station

As reported in today's Daily Times, the owners of the Red Roost plan on doing what every investor should consider when purchasing a piece of property below market value.

We've seen the Ulman Theater property go from a Garden Center to reading a sign in Parker Place Antiques stating their antiques are now located in the old Ulman Theater location.

In the case of the old Union Station, I believe these folks will be honorable and create a really cool dining experience and with any help from the Police Department they'll work on cleaning up that part of town and make it well worth visiting this new establishment when it's finished.

The Daily Times stated it's only "blocks" from the Downtown Plaza but if you have any clue where these two places are located, no one in their right mind would walk that far to start with, let alone keep from being run over, mugged or even shot along the way. I hope the City supports the investment these fine people are putting up but only time will tell?

Homeland Security In Salisbury?

Sorry about the out of focus pictures but sometimes it's difficult to drive and snap a picture at the same time. Nevertheless, I caught this vehicle snooping around near Sam's and Lowes. Things that make you go, hmmmmm?

Two Ferrets Available At Humane Society

These two ferrets were fresh deliveries when I visited the Humane Society last week. I named them, Mike & Gary because they reminded me so much of weasels.

Of course, one of them could be a female and we all know what name she would have received. Nonetheless, these two are available and are in need of a good home.
