Beware of Flooded Vehicle Scams and Frauds

The Houston area, where the Car Pro Show has been heard for over a dozen years has experienced a catastrophic hurricane. The large amounts of rain caused flash flooding, destruction, death, and countless numbers of flooded cars. From previous floods and hurricanes, we know that these cars will resurface all over the country in the months and years ahead.

According to vehicle history report provider CarFax, it’s not uncommon for 50 percent of the cars affected by floods to return to service, some requiring only minor repairs, others a full overhaul.

The most severely damaged vehicles, those declared salvaged by their insurance carriers, can put used car shoppers at risk, as less reputable dealers, and some private sellers, try to sell them without full disclosure, or through outright fraud.

These cars are typically unloaded at auctions to be used for parts, or exported to countries with lower safety standards than the U.S. They can, however, be repaired and issued clearly marked “salvage” titles that must remain with them for the rest of their operational lives.

Gary Cohn May Be The Next Trump Advisor To Get Booted From The White House

President Donald Trump’s chief economic advisor, Gary Cohn, is likely to be the next member of the president’s staff to get booted from the White House — a move that could send financial markets spiraling.

Sources claim that Cohn might be pressured to leave the White House as his relationship with President Trump has rapidly deteriorated, Reuters reports:

"The calculus has shifted for Gary. He's gone, essentially, from untouchable to possibly being bounced out,” the source said. “The message is clear that suddenly Cohn's job in the White House has real downside risk.”

But you would be wrong at least for some people.

Hillary gone wild! Whole world becomes her scapegoat

Twice-failed presidential hopeful trots out long list of people to blame for big failure

WASHINGTON –
The odds were stacked against Donald Trump to win the presidency in a 2016 race with an entitled Hillary Clinton.

Clinton, a former U.S. secretary of state and former first lady, spent her entire adult life preparing to become the first female president, and she was the establishment candidate.

Not only were the mainstream media blatantly in favor of Clinton over Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary and then Donald Trump in the general election, the Democratic National Committee brazenly admitted that it rigged its primary to ensure Clinton, even with all her scandals, would be its nominee.

At one point, she was projected to have a 90 percent chance of becoming the next president.

And when she lost, someone – anyone – had to be blamed.

Anyone but Hillary Clinton, of course.

Armed Robberies In OC Result In Five-Year Sentence

SNOW HILL — A Pennsylvania man, charged last winter with two armed robberies about a half an hour apart, pleaded guilty this week to two counts and was sentenced to nine years, all but five of which were then suspended.

Christopher Jones-Rivera, now 19, of Elizabethtown, Pa., on Tuesday pleaded guilty to two counts of armed robbery for a pair of incidents in north Ocean City last January. Jones-Rivera was sentenced to nine years for each count with all but five years suspended. He was also placed on supervised probation for three years upon his release.

The first armed robbery occurred around 10 p.m. on Jan. 28 in a parking lot in the area of 79th Street and Coastal Highway. The second armed robbery occurred about a half an hour later at a municipal bus stop near 138th Street and Coastal Highway. In both incidents, the victims were able to provide a similar description of the suspect and told police he pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at them during the commission of the crimes.

Breaking News: The United Nations ratcheted up sanctions on North Korea

The United Nations ratcheted up sanctions on North Korea, but the U.S. had to settle for weaker penalties to satisfy Russia and China

The United Nations Security Council on Monday ratcheted up sanctions yet again against North Korea, but they fell significantly short of the far-reaching penalties that the Trump administration had demanded just days ago.
Moreover, it remained wholly unclear whether the additional penalties would persuade North Korea to halt its nuclear and ballistic missile tests — the latest just a week ago, when it detonated its sixth and most powerful nuclear device. North Korea claimed that detonation was from a hydrogen bomb.

California cops shoot each other in friendly fire mishap

Two cops have shot each other accidentally while responding to a report of a man with a knife.

Both officers were released from the hospital after being treated for minor injuries sustained during the confrontation in Huntington Beach, California around 7am on Thursday.

The suspect, who was also shot, remained hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

A preliminary investigation found the officers 'were injured by friendly fire,' according to a statement by the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Deported “dreamer” will be allowed re-entry to sue Trump adminstration

The Department of Homeland Security will temporarily re-admit a “Dreamer” who was deported in February. Juan Manuel Montes, 23 says he was a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient, who was illegally deported. He’s mounted a lawsuit, and will be allowed to re-enter the U.S. the day before his deposition, and the day before his trial in the case.

Montes accused immigration officers of forcing him into Mexico in the middle of the night, illegally deporting him without giving him legal council.

The Department of Homeland Security and US Customs and Border Protection deny his accusation, and say he remains in Mexico because his DACA status was revoked.

Dad Tells Teacher Offended By Son’s Shirt: GET OVER IT!

It’s no surprise that most educators skew liberal. And in theory, that should be fine — but in practice, this means that too often, politics are brought into the classroom, as opposed to being kept out of it. Sometimes, this means that students will end up being indoctrinated into liberalism. But that wasn’t going to work on this student.

Richard Gautier posted on Facebook about the t-shirt his son, Mason, decided to wear to school one day. His teacher, a liberal who supports Hillary Clinton, has frequently had political discussions with Mason and when she saw what he was wearing, she was surely surprised:

New State Youth Detention Center Replaces City Facility Shut Down Two Years Ago

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– The new state youth detention center has opened and it replaces the Baltimore City Detention Center that was shut down two years ago.

The goal is to rehabilitate youth offenders charged as adults, rather than simply warehouse them.

For years juvenile offenders charged as adults were locked up at the Baltimore City Detention Center where conditions were so bad for adults Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan deemed the facility inhumane and shut it down.

The new youth center is a $35 million upgrade built to comply with a 2007 Department of Justice agreement with the State for significant improvements for juveniles in custody.

Saudi government allegedly funded a ‘dry run’ for 9/11

Fresh evidence submitted in a major 9/11 lawsuit moving forward against the Saudi Arabian government reveals its embassy in Washington may have funded a “dry run” for the hijackings carried out by two Saudi employees, further reinforcing the claim employees and agents of the kingdom directed and aided the 9/11 hijackers and plotters.

Two years before the airliner attacks, the Saudi Embassy paid for two Saudi nationals, living undercover in the US as students, to fly from Phoenix to Washington “in a dry run for the 9/11 attacks,” alleges the amended complaint filed on behalf of the families of some 1,400 victims who died in the terrorist attacks 16 years ago.

The court filing provides new details that paint “a pattern of both financial and operational support” for the 9/11 conspiracy from official Saudi sources, lawyers for the plaintiffs say. In fact, the Saudi government may have been involved in underwriting the attacks from the earliest stages — including testing cockpit security.

“We’ve long asserted that there were longstanding and close relationships between al Qaeda and the religious components of the Saudi government,” said Sean Carter, the lead attorney for the 9/11 plaintiffs. “This is further evidence of that.”

Snow Hill Plans ‘Ride To Sturgis’ Event For Bikers

SNOW HILL – As motorcycles descend on the resort area next week, the town of Snow Hill will again encourage them to “Ride to Sturgis.”

For the second year, Snow Hill will host Ride to Sturgis, an afternoon of food and festivities for bikers in Sturgis Park. The event is set for Saturday, Sept. 16, from noon to 4 p.m.

“We’re trying to make this a bigger event every year,” said Michael Day, the town’s economic development consultant.

Day said the idea for Ride to Sturgis came about a couple of years ago when a local merchant pointed out that the town’s park had the same name as the South Dakota town known for its famous motorcycle rally. Aware that thousands of motorcycles visited Worcester County each September during OC BikeFest and Delmarva Bike Week, Day decided Ride to Sturgis was the perfect way to draw some of those visitors to Snow Hill.

Let that sink in.

I have to ask. Is the U.S. really becoming this out of touch? And I mean that literally.

Author Ray Williams, a contributor to Psychology Today, offered an important question back in 2010: “In our desire to have a politically correct and safe social environment, or an environment of instant communication, have we lost sight of the most important aspect of human development and culture — physical touch?”

Christmas in the 1970s

Christmas in the 1970s was an era between eras. Music and television stars of the 1950s still produced major Christmas releases and the gifts, toys and fads of the time seemed
caught sometimes between a time warp to the past and to the future.

Take, for example, the wildly popular Star Wars action figures – the hottest toys of the late 1970s. Star Wars is just as wildly popular now as it was then.

Video games got their start in the 1970s. Only they were not called “video games”. They didn’t know what to call them then.

At the very first, they were known as “television gaming apparatus”. All kids knew was that the game they wanted was called Pong and it was played on the TV.

Denmark Suspends Refugee Resettlement Under UN Program

Denmark won’t allow any refugees into the country this year under a United Nations program and will seek flexibility in determining how many may resettle in the future instead of a set quota, the Ministry of Immigration and Integration said.

Since 1989, Denmark has pledged to take 500 refugees a year selected by the UN for resettlement. The program is separate from European Union efforts to distribute migrants among member states, which has encountered fierce opposition from countries including Hungary.

“It’s hard to predict how many refugees and migrants will show up at the border to seek asylum, and we know it may be hard to integrate those who arrive here,” Danish Minister of Immigration and Integration Inger Stojberg said in a statement on the UN program on Saturday. “Hence, I would like to see a more flexible quota regime, so that we are prepared, but not obliged, to take a certain number of refugees for resettlement every year.”

11 Year Old Buys New Shoes For Harvey Victims

Were the Saudis Behind 9/11?

1. On September 9, 2017, Paul Sperry of the New York Post dropped the biggest headline hint so far that, Yes, the Saudis plotted, trained, funded, ordered, and covered up the assault on America on 9/11.

The headline does not come out and actually say that the Saudis committed the greatest anti-American civilian atrocity 16 years ago. It just says that "the Saudis allegedly funded a "dry run" of the 9/11/01 attack two years before it was actually executed. But by now we know so much supportive evidence that we might as well tell the whole truth.

Two years before the airliner attacks, the Saudi Embassy paid for two Saudi nationals, living undercover in the US as students, to fly from Phoenix to Washington “in a dry run for the 9/11 attacks,” alleges the amended complaint filed on behalf of the families of some 1,400 victims who died in the terrorist attacks 16 years ago."

Well, if you're a bank robber, and you go through a "dry run" of the robbery two years before actually committing it, and "somebody" then carries out the outrageous crime, chances are that the dry runners and the perps are the same.

We have plenty of evidence of Saudi guilt for 9/11. We know that the 17 Wahhabi (Saudi-indoctrinated) terrorists killed civilian cabin personnel and pilots in those four "American" and "United" airplanes, slitting their throats with utility knives, according to the ancient Koranic war command, "you shall cut them at the neck."

U.S. Park Police Tear Down Anti-Trump Camp

Officials allegedly affiliated with the United States Park Police removed tents, tables, chairs, and other gear affiliated with the occupation of Farragut Square early Saturday morning in Washington, D.C.

The police action that protestors on the ground described as a “raid” began around 4:00 a.m. Saturday, and ended roughly an hour later, according to the Facebook Live feed published by the group Impeachment Square.

Although the video is dark, it’s possible to see that some members of a local police force are removing items, but it’s unclear if the Park Police led the charge. Officials with the Park Police DC office were unable to confirm whether the department was responsible for the raid when contacted by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Protesting organizers claim to have applied with the Parks Service for a permit for their action. The permit has yet to be approved, according to the group.

Steve Bannon: ‘Original Sin’ of Team Trump Was Embracing the Establishment

Former White House chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon says that the biggest mistake the Trump campaign made after winning the election was trusting the establishment to staff the populist president-elect’s administration.

“In the 48 hours after we won … you might call it the original sin of the administration. We embraced the establishment,” Bannon said during an interview with CBS News anchor Charlie Rose for 60 Minutes. “I mean, we totally embraced the establishment.”

He explained that he and Trump, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and the rest of the family realized that they had to put together a government and let establishment Republicans into the administration.

“Our whole campaign was a little bit the island of misfit toys,” Bannon said.

2018 Could Be The Year Incumbents Are Shown The Door In A ‘Trumpian Manner’

Former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is battling the Republican establishment and the Washington swamp President Donald Trump promised to drain by leading the Senate Conservatives Fund.

The Republican failure to repeal Obamacare was “a vote a whole election can turn on,” Cuccinelli told The Daily Caller News Foundation in this exclusive video interview. Republicans’ broken promises are causing a pronounced riff that jeopardizes a growing number of Republicans seeking re-election next November. Should they support the Trump agenda or vote with the sinking popularity of the Republican leadership and Washington establishment?

The dangers in the current political environment for the Republican establishment are now “opportunities” for scrappy groups like the Senate Conservatives Fund, whose supporters get most animated for defeating incumbents who won’t keep their promises once elected.

Hitler Was Living in Argentina in the 1950s

Declassified CIA Docs Say Hitler Was Alive and Well in Argentina in the 1950s

Declassified CIA files show that in 1955, an informant boasted about meeting with Adolf Hitler in Colombia, and provided pictures of himself with the Fuhrer – over 10 years after the Fuhrer’s suicide.

Declassified files show that in 1955, the CIA’s Western Hemisphere Division (WHD) chief received a secret memo, boasting a subject line that no doubt caused him to jump up from his chair, and spew any liquid in his mouth across the room — “Operational: Adolf Hitler.”

As the shocking title implies, the acting station chief in Venezuela claimed to have received a once in a lifetime tip from one of his contacts — a decade after his apparent death by suicide in the Fuhrerbunker, Hitler was in fact very much alive, and living in Argentina.

Hitler Oder Nicht?

In brief, one of the action station chief’s informants, CIMELODY, was contacted by a trusted friend, former SS trooper Phillip Citroen, who claimed to have been in touch with Hitler — masquerading under the pseudonym Adolph Schuttlemayer — about once a month in Colombia, while there on a trip from Maracaibo as an employee of the Royal Dutch Shipping Company.

Al Sharpton's daughter arrested after cops say she attacked cab driver

No justice, no peace — of birthday cake.

A birthday celebration for Rev. Al Sharpton’s daughter ended in handcuffs early Saturday after she punched a cabbie in Midtown and snatched his keys, police sources said.

Ashley Sharpton was in a yellow taxi just before 1 a.m. with three of her friends near the intersection of W. 48th St. and Ninth Ave. Each of the passengers gave the driver a different destination. The cabbie Georges Coly — annoyed and confused — stopped the car and refused to move until Sharpton’s group could figure out where they wanted to go.

That’s when Sharpton, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, grabbed the keys from the ignition, according to cops. She jumped out of the car and threw the keys — which the driver didn’t see.

‘I Smell Cash’: How the A.T.F. Spent Millions Unchecked

A pair of informants got $6 million and agents spent freely. The
Justice Department fought to keep records of the operation secret.

BRISTOL, Va. —
For seven years, agents at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives followed an unwritten policy: If you needed to buy something for one of your cases, do not bother asking Washington. Talk to agents in Bristol, Va., who controlled a multimillion-dollar account unrestricted by Congress or the bureaucracy.

Need a flashy BMW for an undercover operation? Call Bristol.

A vending machine with a hidden camera? Bristol.

Travel expenses? Take this credit card. It’s on Bristol.

When The New York Times revealed the existence of the secret account in February, publicly available documents made it seem like the work of a few agents run amok. But thousands of pages of newly unsealed records reveal a widespread scheme — a highly unorthodox merger of an undercover law enforcement operation and a legitimate business. What began as a way to catch black-market cigarette dealers quickly transformed into a nearly untraceable A.T.F. slush fund that agents from around the country could tap.

The next time someone says Trump is racist for DACA decision, show them this!

A Comment Worthy Of A Post 9-11-17

Although concerning this is typical for many municipalities, and does not need a warrant. One scenario where an inspection could be initiated would be if the city has reason to believe you have performed unpermited plumbing work and are therefore discharging more wastewater than they are accounting for.

Publishers Notes: BS! While I thank Jake's inside people making such a comment, you're full of crap. EVERY home has an outside CLEAN OUT. If the City was anywhere close to honorable and truly needed to check homes/businesses they would NOT have to access either. They could go to the exterior clean out and do whatever testing they want. This is a massive invasion, period and it must be immediately stopped in its tracks. This proposal is all about getting into taxpayers properties and we ALL know about RETALIATION by the City. Say something challenging at a Council Meeting and guess who will be next on the list of inspections!

GARY ALBERO: Remembering September 11, 2001

Never judge a broker by his collar. Take Gary Albero. He was a good insurance broker: urbane and vigorous, and he could sell. That's what led him to 2 World Trade Center for a breakfast meeting. But it was not the money or the numbers that appealed to him, said his wife, Aracelis. "He liked talking," she said. "He liked people and the job fit him."

Consider the private life of Gary Albero, who was 39 and lived in Emerson, N.J. He often volunteered at a local homeless shelter and sometimes slept there because he was interested in the lives of the homeless. He would come home, put on a white collar and go off to conquer Wall Street.

Gary Albero met a boy some years ago who came from a troubled family. Mr. Albero took him under his wing, took him to ball games and coached him in football.

When it was time for the young man to go off to college, Mr. Albero was there to help pack his belongings and drive him to his dormitory. They hugged; the man gave the boy some money and reminded him that he could be anything he wanted to be.

The Alberos had their own child, a boy, a year and a half ago. "That was the happiest day of his life," Mrs. Albero said.

We Strongly Urge You To Read Salisbury City Council Agenda & Packet for 9-11-17

This morning we published just a few of the items the City Council will be reviewing at tonight's Council Meeting. However, there are a lot more items you are not aware of and we strongly urge that you take the time, (260+ pages) to review the entire packet HERE.

The fact is, Mayor Jake Day and the Salisbury City Council are creating an unbelievable amount of ways to fine people and even create a multitude of new fees.

Let's not forget the City of Salisbury is charging every single property in the city limits a "rain tax", yet NO ONE knows where that money is going or has gone because they certainly haven't done anything to improve pollution in the river. Could it be that those funds went to pay for the removal of the protective railing on the Riverwalk, I don't know, nor do you. I'd like to remind everyone as well, the County is NOT participating in a rain tax, or whatever else the City so conveniently calls is to stay away from the exact term, "rain tax".

We understand the link I've provided is a lot of reading but it is extremely important for City Taxpayers to see what is NOT being covered by the rest of the media.

Salisbury Mayor Jake Day Proposes Massive Fines In Newly Designated No Smoking Areas Throughout The City

Tonight Mayor Jake Day will deliver a multitude of new resolutions, one of them is his No Smoking throughout multiple areas in the City. One of them will immediately get thrown out because the City doesn't own the Government Office Building, therefore he can't create laws for property the City doesn't own.

Nevertheless, get this. The first infraction will cost you $500.00! Every violation beyond that is $1,000.00 each time you are caught.

While I spent the weekend reading some 268 pages of resolutions it became extremely clear that Mayor Jake Day is desperate to do anything and everything to create easy fines and fees because so many people are leaving the City of Salisbury and they have to make up for these losses.

By the way, the smoking resolution includes No Vaping!

No Smoking areas:
all public parks, trails and greenways
public bus shelters
dog park
zoo
marina
skate park
Ben's red swings
riverwalk

The list of no smoking areas goes on and on and pretty much tells you if it has to do with the City you will be fined. View Document Page 72

A 9-11 Story You Haven't Heard Before

Elaine Duch & Paul Adams

12 years ago today my friend Paul Adams, (upper right) was working as an EMT in Manhattan, New York City.

The woman you see with the bandages on her face was the most seriously burned victim that had survived that horrific day.

Paul is now retired from the Fire Department and actually lives right here in Salisbury. Remember his face. The next time you see him, shake his hand, give him a hug and thank him for his heroic service.

I watched a video of what Paul had done that day and quite frankly it was amazing. I'll never forget the news station taking video of Paul pulling up to a local Hospital with a complete load of survivors in his Ambulance, Elaine was one of them. While the victims were climbing out of the Ambulance the cameraman turned towards the Twin Towers and then all of a sudden the building collapsed.

At that time Paul jumped back into the Ambulance and raced back down the street to the Twin Towers to help rescue even more people. He made several trips that day saving as many lives as possible.

Elaine had a very special visitor for almost a year straight. Every Sunday Paul would go to the Hospital to visit her and watch her recovery process. When a Reporter asked Paul why he committed himself to keep coming back he simply said, we've both been through a lot and its kind of a therapy for me.

Paul, well, he's a bit of a hamster but I sure am honored to call him my friend. Thank You Paul. So you know, Paul is from Scotland and came here as a child to become an American. They, (Americans) get no better than Mr. Paul Adams. We're lucky to have you.

Salisbury Mayor Jake Day Divorcing Wicomico County Services

Planning and Zoning in Wicomico County has been providing a vital service to the City of Salisbury for literally pennies on the dollar. An example is, the department cost about $1,700,000.00 a year to operate. While the City has been able to take advantage of partnering with the County, the City used to put up about $160,000.00 a year but has now dropped that down to around $100,000.00 a year.

Because Jake Day is a typical Liberal, he wants to once again and grow government at taxpayers expense by breaking away from the County to create his own departments. WHY, because he's desperate for money and I'm being totally serious.

So Jake wants his own permit department but get this, what I've read is flat out illegal. He's creating what he calls the "middle department". This is a private company that will be in charge of ALL inspections, can you say GOOD OL' BOYS? It would be one thing to have someone who works for the City to do this but instead the City is demanding every taxpayer use this designated company creating a monopoly, which is illegal.

Lawsuit Against Maryland’s Restrictive Handgun Licensing Law Moves Forward

A federal judge ruled on Monday that a lawsuit against Maryland's law requiring a license to purchase a handgun could move forward after denying the bulk of the state's dismissal request.

In his ruling, Federal District Judge Marvin Garbis said the plaintiffs have standing to bring their case against the state's Handgun Qualification License (HQL) and ordered discovery in the case to move forward.

"Accepting the pleadings as true, the Court finds that the Plaintiffs allege adequate facts to present a plausible claim that the HQL Provision and regulations have deprived them (or their members or customers) of the Second Amendment right to possess a handgun in the home for self-defense," Garbis wrote in his ruling. "Accordingly, Count 1 shall not be dismissed."

Salisbury Mayor Jake Day On His Own On City Tax Billing

Well, Jake Day started the fight along with former Mayor Jim Ireton, "NUCLEAR OPTION". They say Karma is a bitch and here's proof.

Wicomico County had been footing the bill to mail out all tax bills and advertise delinquent bills for the City of Salisbury. Once the City started playing games like not paying rent or their fair share of expenses in the GOB, Executive Culver asked the City to either financially participate towards these expenses or they were be on their own.

Mayor Jake Day chose to divorce the County and create yet another new department. The software alone will cost the City close to $1,000,000.00. That does not include the additional staff, the estimated $80,000.00 a year to advertise delinquent properties, stamps, legal expenses and collection fees.

Don't dare point your fingers at the County Executive because all he did was to ask what is fair. I'm sure Jake Day is pulling this crap to try to make Culver look bad and I'm even sure the local media will find a way to twist what's really going on.

The medication, called Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium, is being hailed as a breakthrough to those suffering from the degenerative disorder, the Herald Sun reports.
