Cop Working On Thanksgiving Goes To Starbucks For Coffee To Thank Dispatchers. Cup Gets Labeled ‘Pig.’

One Oklahoma police officer working on Thanksgiving Day got a rude surprise when he visited Starbucks to get coffee as a thank-you for the dispatchers who work with him: the cup he was given, instead of having his name on it, was labeled “Pig.”

Johnny O’Mara, Chief of Police in Kiefer, Oklahoma, recounted the incident on Facebook along with a picture, writing:

My officer goes to Starbucks to get the dispatchers coffee as a thank you for all they do (especially when they’re working a holiday.) This is what he gets for being nice. What irks me is the absolute and total disrespect for a police officer who, instead of being home with family and enjoying a meal and a football game, is patrolling his little town.

Recently Pardoned Turkey Found Dead After Claiming To Have Dirt On Hillary Clinton

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A turkey recently pardoned by President Trump was found dead after claiming to have dirt on the Clintons, sources at the FBI confirmed today.

The official cause of death was suicide, though the bullet wounds were in the back of the turkey's head and the bird lacked opposable thumbs with which to operate a firearm.

The turkey had been publicly pardoned for the crime of being delicious and set free by Trump in a popular White House Thanksgiving tradition. Shortly after being released, the turkey confirmed its possession of "credible" information that would lead to the indictment of Hillary Clinton, posting on the bird's social media account that it was a good thing Trump had pardoned the turkey, so the world could find the truth out about the Clintons.

WWII veteran who credited longevity to daily Coors Light turns 102

Drinking beer will apparently keep you young — at least it has done so for WWII veteran Andrew E. Slavonic, who is celebrating his 102nd birthday on Dec. 1.

Slavonic, who went viral last year for drinking a Coors Light every day at 4 p.m. for over a decade, and his son Bob shared with Fox News how much the Pennsylvania centenarian’s life has changed since his modest Internet fame.

“All I can say is that it has been one helluva of a year for dad. He has never had this much attention in his life. I really think he loves it,” Slavonic's son told Fox News.

“He has met various people around town that have come up to him and wanted to shake his hand and ask him if it really the one Coors Light that keeps him going. He says it is. We go to the local VFW Post 764 every Friday for dinner and everyone there just loves seeing him and talking to him,” he added.

The Solidarity Of Democrats' Delusion Is About To Collapse

The Turnaround

At yesterday’s Thanksgiving table, fifteen adults present, there was not one word uttered about impeachment, Russia, Ukraine, and, most notably, a certain Golden Golem of Greatness, whose arrival at the center of American life three years ago kicked off a political hysteria not witnessed across this land since southern “fire eaters” lay siege to Fort Sumter.

I wonder if some great fatigue of the mind has set in among the class of people who follow the news and especially the tortured antics of Rep. Adam Schiff’s goat rodeo in the House intel Committee the past month. I wonder what the rest of congress is detecting among its constituents back home during this holiday hiatus. I suspect it is that same eerie absence of chatter I noticed, and what it may portend about the nation’s disposition toward reality.

The dead white man Arthur Schopenhauer (1788 – 1860) famously observed that “all truth passes through three stages: first, it is ridiculed; second, it is violently opposed; and third, it is accepted as self-evident.”

America has been stuck in stage two lo these thirty-six months since Mr. Trump shocked the system with his electoral victory over She-Whose-Turn-Was-Undoubted, inciting a paroxysm of rage, disbelief, and retribution that has made the Left side of the political transect ridiculous, and repeatedly, ignominiously so, as their fantasies about Russian “collusion” and sequential chimeras dissolve in official proceedings.

Hunter Biden demands his financial records are kept SECRET by court in child support suit following claims of significant debts

Hunter Biden has filed a request to seal all financial records in his ongoing child support suit to spare himself public 'embarrassment' amid claims of 'significant debts', DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

The 49-year-old filed the motion for a Protective Order of his financial records in the Arkansas Circuit Court of Independence on Wednesday, citing fears that such information would be used 'maliciously' by the media if disclosed publicly.

'The likelihood that [Biden's] private records will be used in an inappropriate or malicious manner for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with these proceedings is exceedingly high and should not be tolerated by the court,' the filing reads.

Any such disclosures, Biden's attorneys claim, would furthermore cause their client 'undue prejudice, annoyance, embarrassment, and/or oppression.'

Malkin, in the session hosted by the group SafeBoston, was interviewed by Center for Immigration Studies Policy Director Jessica Vaughan and asked about court decisions against the president.

The next slate of Rhodes Scholars is overwhelmingly involved with various forms of progressive activism in the United States. Almost 60 percent specifically mention their leftist activism in their biographies.

According to a report by The College Fix, the majority of Rhodes Scholars for 2020 are progressives. The report revealed that only 13 of the 32 Rhodes Scholars have biographies that do not mention progressive activism. That means that almost 60 percent of recipients are expressly involved with progressive activism.

Elliot F. Gerson, American Secretary of the Rhodes Trust, said that the 2020 Rhodes Scholars represent the “extraordinary diversity that characterizes and strengthens the United States."

Virginia Gun Owners Could Face Felony Charges Under New 'Paramilitary Activities' Amendment

A proposed amendment to a 30-year-old Virginia law would make it illegal to bring a firearm to any gathering if it can be proven that the goal was to 'intimidate any person or group of persons by drilling, parading, or marching with any firearm."

In short, if someone brings a firearm to a permitted event such as the ill-fated United the Right rally, and it can be argued that their goal was to intimidate Antifa counter-protesters as opposed to carrying in self-defense, that person could be subject to Class 5 felony charges under the amendment introduced by State Senator Louise Lucas (D-18th District).

The amendment stems from a lawsuit brought against Unite the Right organizer (and professional provocateur) Jason Kessler and several militia groups, accusing them of violating the state's existing statute governing "unlawful paramilitary activity." As a result of the lawsuit, "eleven named defendants had signed consent decrees in which they are “permanently enjoined from returning to Charlottesville, Virginia, as part of a unit of two or more persons acting in concert while armed with a firearm, weapon, shield, or any item whose purpose is to inflict bodily harm, at any demonstration, rally, protest, or march.”," according to IREHR.

Brazilian president blames Leonardo DiCaprio for Amazon fires

Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro blamed actor Leonardo DiCaprio for making donations to nonprofit organizations that he claims caused the fires that have ravaged the Amazon rainforest.

Bolsonaro told supporters Friday, "DiCaprio is a cool guy, isn't he? Giving money to set the Amazon on fire." His comments came after a law enforcement raid at the offices of two nonprofit organizations in the Amazonian state of Para. Multiple volunteer firefighters, who deny wrongdoing, were arrested and subsequently released. Local police say they are being accused of igniting fires to obtain funding through nonprofits.

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which pledged $5 million to help protect the rainforest, attempts to implement "solutions that help restore balance to threatened ecosystems, ensuring the long-term health and well-being of all Earth’s inhabitants."

Rockeymoore Cummings on defense after acting Democratic Party chair says she overspent as head of the party

The former Maryland Democratic Party chairwoman took to Twitter on Saturday morning to defend herself after the acting chair of the Maryland Democratic Party, Sen. Cory V. McCray of Baltimore City, released a letter Friday highlighting “major areas of concerns” about the Party’s finances under Rockeymoore Cummings’ tenure.

“I am proud of the progress made during my tenure as MDP Chair. We raised more than $1.1 million in an off-cycle election year; maintained healthy reserves; built a year-round voter engagement & campaign operation; enhanced our communications, training & data capacity…,” Rockeymoore Cummings tweeted Saturday.

McCray – who stepped into the acting chair role after Rockeymoore Cummings resigned the seat and launched a congressional bid to serve the remainder of her late husband’s House term – pointed out in a letter released Friday to State Central Committee members that “In 2019, the Party has spent more money than it has raised 9 out of 10 months,” spending nearly $340,000 since the beginning of 2019.

Rutgers Prof: Conservative Media and GOP Are ‘Existential Threats’ to USA

Rutgers University Professor Catherine Lugg argued in a recent social media post that Conservative media outlets like Fox News are an “existential threat” to the United States.

According to a report by The College Fix, Rutgers University Education Professor has some very strong opinions about right-wing media outlets. Professor Catherine Lugg issued a series of tweets on November 22 in which she made the case that the United States is a “crypto-fascist” nightmare, due in part to Conservative media outlets like Fox News.

“At this point, Fox is openly fascist. They and the GOP are existential threats to the USA,” Lugg wrote in a tweet that was published on November 22. Lugg locked down her account after the tweet sparked a backlash. Users that do not follow an account prior to a decision for it to be locked are unable to view the locked account’s tweets.

But Lugg had more to say...

Flashback: Mike Bloomberg Says Taxing Poor People Will Help Them Live Longer

For a taste of the nanny state which would unfold if left-wing billionaire Michael Bloomberg becomes president, look no further than comments he made in April, 2018 while speaking to the IMF's then-president Christine Lagarde - when he said we need to tax poor people so they'll live longer.

Speaking with then-IMF President Christine Lagarde, Bloomberg said (via Americans for Tax Reform):

Michael Bloomberg: “Some people say, well, taxes are regressive. But in this case, yes they are. That's the good thing about them because the problem is in people that don't have a lot of money. And so, higher taxes should have a bigger impact on their behavior and how they deal with themselves. So, I listen to people saying 'oh we don't want to tax the poor.’ Well, we want the poor to live longer so that they can get an education and enjoy life. And that's why you do want to do exactly what a lot of people say you don't want to do.

The question is do you want to pander to those people? Or do you want to get them to live longer? There's just no question. If you raise taxes on full sugary drinks, for example, they will drink less and there's just no question that full sugar drinks are one of the major contributors to obesity and obesity is one of the major contributors to heart disease and cancer and a variety of other things.

Public Schools Must Be De-unionized

As the saying goes, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. No one embraces that aphorism more wholeheartedly than the nation’s education unions and their Democrat Party enablers.

As the latest test results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) reveal, the unionized school model is an ongoing failure. “The average performance of the nation’s fourth and eighth graders mostly declined in math and reading from 2017 to 2019, following a decade of stagnation in educational progress, according to the results of a test released on Oct. 30, 2019,” columnist Jill Barshay reveals. “The one exception was fourth-grade math, with the average score rising by one point between 2017 and 2019.”

These results are not anomalous. Scores also declined between 2013 and 2015. But this particular drop was described as “substantial,” because reading scores for fourth-graders and eighth-graders declined in 14 states and 31 states, respectively.

Watch: Hong Kong Protesters Hold ‘Thanksgiving’ Rally after Trump Signs Support Bills

Thousands of demonstrators in Hong Kong staged a “Thanksgiving” rally on Thursday evening in response to President Donald Trump signing two bills in support of the city’s pro-democracy movement.

Demonstrators took to the streets shortly after the President signed the legislation. Some draped themselves in U.S. flags and expressed gratitude for the administration’s support.

“The rationale for us having this rally is to show our gratitude and thank the U.S Congress and also President Trump for passing the bill,” student Sunny Cheung, 23, told Reuters. “We are really grateful about that and we really appreciate the effort made by Americans who support Hong Kong, who stand with Hong Kong, who do not choose to side with Beijing.”

“I was confident Donald Trump would sign the law because we are fighting for universal freedom. Everyone globally should support that,” another young woman told the news outlet.

A Viewer Writes...... 2nd Amendment Sanctuary

Joe,
I believe it's time to implement the Eastern Shore a Sanctuary city for the 2nd Amendment.

Our border states to include the EBT card holders of the Western Shore are rapidly implementing laws to take away our guns.

Shooting, hunting, and self defense is a common place here on the Eastern Shore.

There are towns, cities and most recently a area in Virginia that has become a Sanctuary City for the 2nd Amendment.

If Sherrif Mike Lewis is sincere in his opinions not to disarm Wicomico County.... as County Residents we can become the (1st) 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County on the Eastern Shore.

I am hoping the majority of Gun Owners feel the same as we do.

Have a safe and secure and fun
MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'all

GOD BLESS,
Oath Keepers
of Wicomico County

Michael Moore: Trump was right about 'rigged' system

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is no fan of President Trump but admits the Republican had one thing right during the 2016 election.

"The people that came out for Trump — I’m not talking about the racist, white supremacist part. I'm talking about those people who are sick and tired of the system. Trump told them it was rigged. It was rigged. And he was right when he said that," Moore said during an appearance Wednesday on MSNBC.

Moore said Trump won in 2016 because voters could relate to his message about how the political system, economy, and media were "rigged" against them.

Millennials Are Fleeing Cities For Refuge From Democrats’ Disasters

For twenty-somethings leaving a small town for the big city, the feeling of liberation and possibility can be exhilarating. Mom and dad, and their rules, are finally in the rearview mirror. But what’s up ahead is often worse—the welcoming arms of an even stricter authority known as leftist city government.

Many millennials are discovering this the hard way and making a U-turn. New Census Bureau data shows millennials are increasingly trading in urban life for the suburbs and even switching states entirely.

My home city of Philadelphia is a prime example. Here, 60,000 residents leave per year, and half of them are 18 to 34 years old. The reason? Urban centers like Philadelphia are bent on destroying the very conveniences that drew millennials to the city in the first place.

Here, the combined effect of sky-high taxes and outdated regulations add up to an all-out war on millennials. Or at least a war on the things they love the most. Brunch, for example.

Report: London Attacker was Convicted Terrorist with Jihadist Ties

The man who carried out the London Bridge terror attack has been identified as 28-year-old Usman Khan, Metropolitan Police confirm. He was jailed in 2012 as part of a plot to bomb the London Stock Exchange and build a terrorist training camp. Prior to the attack, the knifeman threatened to blow up Fishmongers’ Hall, where he was reportedly planning to attend a conference on prisoner rehabilitation organized by the University of Cambridge, reports The Times. Trump slams Newsweek article predicting he will spend Thanksgiving golfing and tweeting

President Trump responded to a Newsweek article prediction that he would spend Thanksgiving tweeting by responding to them on Twitter.

While the president spent the holiday feeding U.S. troops in on a secret trip to Afghanistan, Newsweek shared a prediction that Trump would be "tweeting, golfing, and more." Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump, Jr., responded to the Newsweek slam with several images of his father with troops in Afghanistan.

"Fake news gonna fake!" Don Jr. said in a tweet with a screen capture of Newsweek's critical headline. The president further responded to the declaration by Newsweek with his own criticism of the magazine. "I thought Newsweek was out of business?" he queried.

The San Diego judges terminated 33% of more than 12,600 Migrant Protection Protocols cases, or the "Remain in Mexico" policy, according to data collected by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University, reports The Wall Street Journal.

In comparison, in El Paso, the busiest immigration court, judges terminated fewer than 1% of more than 14,000 such cases.

‘Unacceptable’: Top Harris Aide Writes Scathing Resignation Letter

Only days after Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) announced her campaign would set its sights on Iowa at the expense of other early primary states, Kelly Mehlenbacher, the Iowa operations director for the Harris campaign, wrote a scathing letter of resignation, calling out the campaign for its poor treatment of staff and ineffective leadership.

“This is my third presidential campaign and I have never seen an organization treat its staff so poorly,” wrote Mehlenbacher in the resignation letter, according to The New York Times. “While I still believe that Senator Harris is the strongest candidate to win in the General Election in 2020, I no longer have confidence in our campaign or its leadership.”

“It is not acceptable to me that we encouraged people to move from Washington, DC to Baltimore only to lay them off with no notice, with no plan for the campaign, and without thoughtful consideration of the personal consequences to them or the consequences that their absence would have on the remaining staff,” continued Mehlenbacher. “It is unacceptable that we would lay off anyone that we hired only weeks earlier. It is unacceptable that with less than 90 days until lowa we still do not have a real plan to win.”
