Totally Hilarious… MSNBC Ratings Continue to CRATER While Fox Keeps Growing

MSNBC really is the worst cable news network on the air and the ratings continue to prove it. As MSNBC continues its headlong plunge downward, Fox News keeps growing. Heck, even CNN had its third good ratings period in a row.

Fox News continued to dominate cable news experiencing a 10% growth in year over year ratings. Even CNN grew a bit after several years of decline.

But MSNBC is still cratering with a nearly 40% loss of its audience

MARYLAND INTERNET CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN TASK FORCE ARRESTS ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY MAN FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

Maryland State Police Press Release
04/02/2015

(Pikesville, MD) Members of the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Section, Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) arrested an Anne Arundel County man on child pornography related charges yesterday.

The suspect is identified as Jose Cristobal Flores Rivera, 33, from Annapolis, Maryland. Rivera was charged with Distributing Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.

As a result of the investigation a search and seizure warrant was executed at Rivera’s residence during March 2015 by a Maryland State Police Computer Crimes investigator, agents from the Department of Homeland Security, Anne Arundel County Police, and Annapolis Police. Investigators identified Rivera as the focus of the investigation. Execution of the search warrant resulted in the seizure of a desktop computer and other digital media containing images of child pornography.

Due to the distribution of child pornography in Anne Arundel County, troopers filed charges with a District Court Commissioner in Anne Arundel County. Subsequently, a warrant was issued for Rivera’s arrest.

On April 1, 2015, uniformed Troopers assigned to the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack made contact with Rivera at his Annapolis residence. Rivera was arrested without incident.

The Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is comprised of police agencies from around the state. Its primary mission is to protect children from computer-facilitated sexual exploitation. The Task Force works cooperatively with law enforcement agencies and prosecutors to provide resources to combat these crimes. Additionally, the Task Force provides community awareness campaigns helping to prevent the spread of these crimes through education.

“There’s something very dangerous happening in states across the country,” Apple chief executive Tim Cook warned Monday in a Washington Post opinion piece against Indiana’s newly passed Religious Freedom Restoration Act. It matters not to the corporate big shot that President Bill Clinton signed a federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act in 1993 (which current House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi supported) or that then-Illinois state Sen. Barack Obama voted for a similar law in 1998.

It was one thing for Democrats to support religious freedom when there was no downside to standing up for the devout. Today there could be a cost. An Indiana baker might refuse to sell a wedding cake to a same-sex couple and cite the new law if the couple were to sue him or her. Cook believes that such discrimination would be “bad for business.” I agree. Cook also believes that the baker wouldn’t have the right to say no. I do not agree with that.

When Obama first ran for the White House, he supported a ban on same-sex marriage. If Cook had a problem with Obama’s stand, he kept it to himself. Years later, Obama announced that his position had evolved and he had come to support same-sex marriage. Voila: Now anyone who disagrees with same-sex marriage is a bigot and thus has no rights.

Except religious dissenters do have rights. Last year, the U.S. Supreme Court recognized that family-owned corporations have religious rights. In the 5-4 Hobby Lobby decision, the big bench recognized CEO David Green’s right to get around an Affordable Care Act mandate that his employer-sponsored health plan offer employees contraceptives that, Green argued, “risk killing an embryo.”

Last year, federal court rulings legalized same-sex marriage in Indiana. In a more tolerant world, the court rulings would leave gay couples free to marry and religious dissenters free to not cater same-sex weddings. Each side would win the right to be true to itself.

How do you solve a problem like the Clintons?

NEW YORK — This being the 50th anniversary of the film “The Sound of Music,” please permit me a poor adaption of a few of its song lyrics, which fit in nicely with our current political climate.

How do you solve a problem like the Clintons? Their incessant vacuuming of cash and skirting (no pun intended) of laws and regulations would place lesser mortals in danger of prison, yet the Clintons’ walk free, their money-making careers booming.

“Dough, we fear, we need more, dear

‘Ray,’ the name of a Clinton foe

Me, a name that fits myself

Fah, as far from law I run

So, I say when bending laws

La, a shrug to follow so

Tee(off), with me for lots of ‘bread’

Which brings us back to dough.”

And lots of it.

OK, so I’m not Rogers or Hammerstein, but, joking aside, why can’t Hillary Clinton just hand over the email server she kept in her home for “private” emails? I’ll tell you why, because she, or someone else, has wiped it clean and we are to take her word for it that there was nothing there before it was wiped.

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO HEROIN INTERDICTION AND ARREST

Maryland State Police Press Release
04/02/2015

(PERRYVILLE, MD) – A traffic stop for an expired tag led to an arrest and the recovery of heroin packaged for street sales yesterday on I-95 in Cecil County.

The suspect is identified as Kerry J. Hampton, 29, of Fayetteville, NC. Hampton is charged with importation of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, and possession of heroin. Following his initial appearance before a court commissioner, he was held in the Cecil County Detention Center on $150,000 bond.

At about 2:00 p.m. yesterday, a Maryland state trooper patrolling I-95 north of Rt. 222 in Cecil County stopped a southbound GMC Acadia for having an expired registration plate. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Hampton. Further investigation by the trooper led to a scan of the vehicle by a drug detection dog. The dog gave a positive alert for the odor of controlled substances. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of two packages of heroin in the sun roof portion of the headliner.

Hampton was arrested without incident. The two packages recovered contained 750 individually packaged wax bags of heroin, ready for street sales. The estimated value of the heroin is $15,000.

This arrest and interdiction is part of the ongoing Maryland State Police initiative to combat heroin use and reduce the number of overdoses and deaths caused by this drug. Further information about overdose prevention and where to find help is available through the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene by calling 211 or at:http://bha.dhmh.maryland.gov/OVERDOSE_PREVENTION/SitePages/Home.aspx

Megyn Kelly KILLED IT TONIGHT on Harry Reid’s admission about his Romney LIE

Megyn Kelly was awesome tonight. She opened her show talking about Harry Reid’s admission that he didn’t even care he lied and she went after him. It was a thing of beauty.

I’ve got the first 10 minutes of her show where she monologues a little, interviews Dana Loesh and then some stupid Democrat who defended Harry Reid’s lies.

It’s all worth watching:

White House Releases Its “Plan” For Forcing Others To Pay Higher Energy Prices For “Climate Change”

(White House) Building on the strong progress made under President Obama to curb the emissions that are driving climate change and lead on the international stage, today the United States submitted its target to cut net greenhouse gas emissions to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The submission, referred to as an Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC), is a formal statement of the U.S. target, announced in China last year, to reduce our emissions by 26-28% below 2005 levels by 2025, and to make best efforts to reduce by 28%.

There’s no such thing as “carbon pollution”. First, it is CO2. Second, it is a necessary trace gas necessary for life on Earth. Calling it “carbon pollution” means this is politics, not science.

Here are the intended targets

SHOCKING VIDEO! Car bursts into flames, 25-year-old burns to death the inside after he is stopped by US border patrol and Tasered

The family of a 25-year-old is suing the federal government, claiming their son died after Border Control agents fired a taser into the car and caused it to explode.

Horrific footage from the dashcam of the agents’ car is being used as evidence in the lawsuit and has now emerged online, showing the moment the vehicle blew out and how the officers, despite being armed with fire extinguishers, fled the scene.

The video shows plain-clothed agents running up to the car and smashing the passenger-side window with a flashlight – without engaging the driver – and then firing a Taser inside.

Unexpectedly, the car blows up, likely due to a gas canister inside the car, propelling the agents back and burning to death the driver, Alex Martin, according to NBC 7 San Diego.

The video shows the agents fleeing the scene, leaving the man to burn to death. Watch the shocking video below…

6 percent of Maryland bridges deemed structurally deficient

About 6 percent of Maryland's bridges are structurally deficient, according to a study released Thursday by the American Road & Transportation Builders Association.

The term structurally deficient means at least one of a bridge's key elements, including the deck vehicles pass on top of, the "superstructure" that supports the bridge and the underground supports, has been found in need of work.

The American Road & Transportation Builders Association uses a 0-9 rating system, with 9 being a brand-new bridge. Bridges rated at 4 or below are considered structurally deficient.

The total number of bridges in the state considered structurally deficient is 317, ranking Maryland No. 40 on a list of states with most structurally deficient bridges.

Gay Marriage Isn’t About Justice, It’s About Selma Envy

Why do so many young adults paint absurd caricatures of Christians who request government protection of their religious freedoms, arguing their true goal is to ban gay men from sitting at the local lunch counter? Why do they spread falsehoods about legislation, insisting that bills like the one recently signed by Indiana Gov. Mike Pencewill unleash a Republican-led Jim Crow revival aimed at the LGBT community? Why do so many people, Gen Xers and younger, invent a monster of anti-gay bigotry and keep screaming the monster is real despite a mountain of contrary facts standing before them?

The answer is “social studies.” My generation engages in straw men, misinformation, and lies because, in every year of social studies class, we studied the civil-rights movement not as history, but as hagiography. We didn’t just learn what events happened on American soil, we were encouraged to mimic the segregation-defeating holy ones and merit for ourselves a place alongside them in glory. Combining that admonition with our general aversion to hard work, we concluded that the only thing necessary to be as righteous as the saints who fought racial injustice was to decry an injustice that no one else was. And we became so desperate to find that injustice, we lost our minds in the process.

Once upon a time, my generation learned in first-grade social studies, everyone thought it was good to hate African-Americans. But then a group of saintly figures arose who were better human beings than the rednecks from the South, and they changed the world for the better. This story captivated us, and we wanted to change the world, too.

Once, black Americans weren’t allowed to use the same bathrooms as white Americans, we learned the next year, but the holy warriors of progress came along and saved the day. As just as much as we wanted to rescue damsels in distress, Superman style, we wanted to have our own victims to rescue from the forces of bigotry.

Obama Plans ‘Executive Order’ for U.N. Climate Rules, GOP Warns Other Countries

Here we go again. The Imperial President is once again threatening executive action to circumvent Congress in an effort to implement strict new rules to combat “climate change.”

But much like the March 9th letter written by 47 GOP members warning Iran against a nuclear accord, Republican leaders have warned other countries to “proceed with caution” in negotiations with Washington regarding climate change because any deal could be later undone.

The Obama administration released a plan for U.N. climate change on Tuesday, in which it seeks to solidify its pledge to a global climate agreement to be negotiated late this year in Paris. The plan calls for cutting greenhouse gas emissions by close to 28 percent from 2005 levels within a decade, using a host of existing laws and executive actions targeting power plants, vehicles, oil and gas production and buildings.

Attorney Demolishes Pro-Vaccine Talking Points, Lays Bare The Shocking Facts About Vaccination Risks And Dangers

You Cannot Generalize Pro or Con About All Vaccines

The report below was recently sent to every representative and senator in the Washington legislature and to all the newspapers in Washington. Attorney James Deal believes that the personal or philosophical objection will be retained at the state level.

“They have all the money, but we have all the good ideas. If we persevere, we will succeed.”
~ James Robert Deal, J.D.

Anti-vaxxers oppose all vaccines. Pro-vaxxers favor all vaccines. No, it is not that simple. Pro-vaxxers admit that certain groups should not receive certain vaccines and that vaccine injury does happen, although it is “rare”.

Most so-called anti-vaxxers actually favor some vaccines but oppose others. Most oppose giving many vaccines all at one time. Most say they are only asking for safer vaccines.

Amid the name calling, there is a reasonable middle ground. Dr. Mark Geier, M.D., Ph.D., associated with Johns Hopkins and the National Institutes of Health, author of over a hundred peer reviewed journal articles, is a moderate we should pay attention to. (Go to YouTube and search for “Dr. Mark Geier Thimerosal”.)

Dr. Geier supports the measles-only vaccine, but he opposes the MMR, measles-mumps-rubella vaccine, because it has caused confirmed adverse reactions and death. Likewise, Dr. Gregory Poland, of the Mayo Clinic holds that the MMR is largely ineffective.

Senator Menendez Indicted on Corruption Charges

Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) was indicted on Wednesday, charged with eight counts of bribery, conspiracy, fraud, and making false statements on government documents, the Justice Department said.

The feisty senator is the first to face federal bribery charges since another New Jersey Democrat, Harrison A. Williams Jr., was indicted in 1980 in the Abscam scandal.

Because the eight counts of bribery alone could amount to up to 15 years in prison each, a brutal court fight is expected. Although the indictment may have serious ramifications for his political future, Menendez, age 61 yrs., has offered no indication that he plans to step down or relinquish any power.

PUBLIC HEARING ON COUNTY EXECUTIVES PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET

Freedoms I Wish the Military Were Defending

“Freedom itself was attacked this morning by a faceless coward, and freedom will be defended.” ~ George W. Bush, September 11, 2001

We have heard it repeated loudly and continuously since 9/11 – the troops are defending our freedoms. This claim is made so often and by so many different segments of society that it has become another meaningless national dictum – like “God Bless America” or “In God We Trust.”

This cliché is actually quite insidious. It is used as a mantra to justify or excuse anything the U.S. military does.

U.S. troops are engaged in unconstitutional, undeclared wars – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. drone strikes killed civilians in Pakistan – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. bombs landed on a wedding party in Afghanistan – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. soldiers murdered Afghan civilians and kept some of their body parts – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. helicopter pilots gunned down Iraqi civilians – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. soldiers killed civilians for sport – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. troops carelessly killed civilians and then covered it up – but the troops are defending our freedoms.

But as I have pointed out many times in my articles on the military, and others like Jacob Hornberger of the Future of Freedom Foundation have been arguing for years (see here andhere), the troops are doing everything but defending our freedoms. In fact, the more the troops defend our freedoms by bombing, invading, and occupying other countries, the more enemies they make of the United States and the more our freedoms get taken away in the name of “fighting terrorism” or “national security.”

U.Va. newspaper’s April Fools’ Day edition falls flat

WASHINGTON – The college-newspaper tradition of jokey April Fools’ Day editions is as old as – well, April Fools’ Day. But the University of Virginia paper acknowledged that they made a mistake on Wednesday.

USA Today reports that The Cavalier Daily put a story on their April 1 front page headlined “ABC agents tackle Native American student outside Bodo’s Bagels,” a reference to the recent incident in which U.Va. student Martese Johnson was injured while being arrested by Alcoholic Beverage Commission officers. The sub-headline made reference to the “Trail of Schmears,” a reference to the Trail of Tears, a forced migration in the 1830s that is considered one of the most brutal incidents in Native American history.

There was also a story of a fraternity hosting a “Rosa Parks party.”

Wicomico County Police and Fire Departments Team-Up with SERVPRO
Personal Emergency Assistance Bags Presented by SERVPRO

Date of Incident: 2 April 2015

Narrative: Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis and SERVPRO of the Lower Shore owner Robb Sartorio announced that SERVPRO Personal Emergency Assistance Bags have been provided to fire and police departments throughout Wicomico County.  Every fire department in the county is participating.  In addition to the sheriff’s office, police departments participating include Salisbury, Delmar, Fruitland, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Salisbury University, and Wor-Wic Community College.
The SERVPRO bags are being provided free of charge to police and fire departments throughout the Eastern Shore in an effort to provide needed personal care items following any emergency situation.  Currently the bags have been made available to emergency services agencies in Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Dorchester counties, in addition to Wicomico.
“The SERVPRO bags are literally stuffed full of all kinds of personal care items,” stated Sheriff Mike Lewis.  “There are many circumstances where law enforcement officers would be able to provide these bags to crime victims and others who are often brought to the sheriff’s office during the investigation or following their emergency situation.  The SERVPRO bags have just the right selection of items needed for people in these circumstances.”
“There will be over 500 bags distributed on the Eastern Shore when the project is completed,” stated Sartorio.  “The Personal Emergency Assistance Bag project provides a unique opportunity for our franchise to team up with local emergency services providers.  These folks work so very hard to make our communities safe and often dip into their own pockets to support victims in difficult circumstances.”
Each bag contains a number of items including a towel, wash cloth, soap, shaving kit, coloring book and crayons, and many other toiletry items.  The bags are given to crime and emergency victims as determined by police and emergency personnel.  Also included in each bag are a number of brochures from local “help” agencies such as the health department, social services, and library.

SERVPRO of the Lower Shore covers Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset counties.  In addition, Sartorio own two other SERVPRO franchises covering all eight Eastern Shore counties.
SERVPRO of The Lower Shore provides a complete and full range of restoration services.   Emergency services are available 24 hours/7 days a week from their office located on Route 50 in Hebron.  SERVPRO provides restoration services to home or commercial structures caused by:

Citizens defy Border Patrol by staying silent with video cameras

Protest against Border Patrol utilizes internet videos to spread awareness

This is a frame grab of a video recorded by people dealing with Border Patrol upon entering the U.S. They say that the man was forcibly removed from his vehicle after refusing to answer questions.

No drugs or would-be immigrants were hidden in the sedan that rolled up to a Border Patrol checkpoint on a Southern California highway last week, but within 90 seconds the driver was handcuffed.

His 4-year-old boy was crying. And a video camera mounted on the car's dashboard captured the moment. The motorist had said he was an American but told the agent he did not have to say where he was going, would not consent to a search of his trunk and would not move his car.

"You brought this on yourself, buddy," an agent says as he is led away.

Another traveler came through a similar checkpoint in El Paso this month, also with a video camera rolling.

He, too, challenged the agent, saying he would not answer questions. After a few seconds he was curtly told, "Get out of here."

MCPS principal kept child sex abuse case quiet to avoid ‘scandal,’ prosecutors say

ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJLA) – A Montgomery County substitute teacher pleaded guilty to pawing young girls Wednesday, triggering allegations about his former boss' gross neglect.

In November 2014, police arrested Jose Pineda, 50, of Gaithersburg, after three 12-year-old girls reported he fondled their legs, back and buttocks. The three stand-alone incidents happened in crowded classrooms at Roberto Clemente and Ridgeview middle schools.

Following extensive media coverage, a fourth female victim, now 23, also came forward. “Victim D” said Pineda touched her in 2004 while she attended Forest Oak Middle School in Gaithersburg.

The girl recalled riding the school bus home in tears. She and her mother returned to Forest Oak that same day and met with a counselor and the school principal. According to prosecutors, the principal told the mother and student to avoid contacting police or Child Protective Services (CPS) because he "did not want to make a big scandal or harm the reputation of the school." Montgomery County Police were never notified and Pineda was consequently allowed to stay on the MCPS substitute teaching roster until his arrest 10 years later.

You have no idea what they're talking about.

But after secret discussions with the judge from which both you and the defendant are excluded, the court dismisses your suit.

This Kafkaesque scenario couldn't happen in the U.S., right?

Not until Monday, it couldn't. That's when a federal judge in the Southern District of New York did exactly that, dismissing a defamation suit by Greek shipping magnate Victor Restis against a shady advocacy group called United Against Nuclear Iran.

Father of Kidnapped Son gets Revenge

We Are All Flying on the Germanwings Plane ... Will We Just Wait?

From a former Navy fighter pilot and a retired UAL Captain.

We Are All Flying on the Germanwings Plane ... Will We Just Wait?

Crash Position

The pilot was locked out of the cockpit.

That phrase finally revealed the full horror of the crash of
Germanwings flight 9525. Co-pilot Andreas Lubitz waited for the pilot to leave the cockpit, then locked the door to prevent his re-entry. After which Lubitz, for reasons unknown and perhaps unknowable, deliberately steered the jet into a harrowing 8-minute plunge ending in an explosive 434 mph impact with a rocky mountainside.

150 men, women and children met an immediate, unthinkably violent death.

Lubitz, in his single-minded madness, couldn't be stopped because anyone who could change the jet's disastrous course was locked out.

It's hard to imagine the growing feelings of fear and helplessness that the passengers felt as the unforgiving landscape rushed up to meet them.

Hard ... but not impossible.

Because America is in trouble. We feel the descent in the pits of our stomachs. We hear the shake and rattle of structures stressed beyond their limits. We don't know where we're going anymore, but do know it isn't good. And above all, we feel helpless because Barack Obama has locked us out.

He locked the American people out of his decision to seize the national healthcare system. Locked us out when we wanted to know why the IRS was attacking conservatives. He locked us out of having a say in his decision to tear up our immigration laws, and to give over a trillion dollars in benefits to those who broke those laws.

Obama locked out those who advised against premature troop withdrawals. Locked out the intelligence agencies who issued warnings about the growing threat of ISIS. He locked out anyone who could have interfered with his release of five Taliban terror chiefs in return for one U.S. military deserter.

And, of course, Barack Obama has now locked out Congress, the American people, and our allies as he strikes a secret deal with Iran to determine the timeline (not prevention) of their acquisition of nuclear weapons.

Was Andreas Lubitz depressed, insane, or abysmally evil when he decided to lock that cockpit door and listen to no voices other than those in his head? Did he somehow believe himself to be doing the right thing?

The voice recordings from the doomed aircraft reveal that as the jet began its rapid descent, the passengers were quiet. There was probably some nervous laughter, confusion, a bit of comforting chatter with seatmates, followed by a brief period in which anxiety had not yet metastasized into terror.

It was only near the end of the 8-minute plunge that everyone finally understood what was really happening. Only near the end when they began to scream.

Like those passengers, a growing number of Americans feel a helpless dread as they come to the inescapable conclusion that our nation's decline is an act of
choice rather than of chance. The choice of one man who is in full control of our 8-year plunge.

A man who has locked everyone out.

A 14-year-old School Going Kid Hacks Car at a Security Camp, leaves experts dumbfounded

The boy, who was 14 and looked like he was 10 as per Dr.Andrew Brown Jr., VP and Chief Technologist at Delphi Automotive, took up the challenge of remotely hacking a car.

The actual procedure for the participants of the camp including the school kids was to take help of the assembled experts and attempt remote infiltration of a car.

Our boy however had different ideas altogether. He chose to have a go at hacking the car alone without any guidance from the experts available. At night he went to Radio Shack, spent $15 on parts and stayed up late into the night building his own circuit board.

Can coffee help undo the damage of alcohol?

Drinking coffee may reduce the risk of cancer in heavy drinkers, research has found.

A new study shows the hot drink can protect against liver cancer, which is often associated with alcohol abuse.

For each cup consumed a day, there is about a 14 per cent decreased risk of liver cancer, found the study by the World Cancer Research Fund.

But although the research found strong evidence that drinking coffee can reduce the risk of the disease, the report did not recommend the amount that should be drunk.

The report comes after research published by the same team in 2013 found drinking coffee reduces the risk of womb cancer.

What Americans think about gay rights and religious liberty

WASHINGTON (AP) — Most Americans support allowing businesses to refuse wedding-related services to same-sex couples on religious grounds, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll conducted earlier this year. But another recent poll suggests Americans’ sympathy for religious objectors may be limited to just that — wedding-related businesses.

The issue has become a topic for heated debate after critics of Indiana’s recently adopted Religious Freedom Restoration Act charged that the law was intended to permit discrimination against gays and lesbians.

Here are five things to know about public opinion on religious beliefs and anti-gay discrimination.

'Racist' chocolate cupcakes banned from shop window French patisserie

A bakery in the French Riviera has been banned from displaying cupcakes of a naked man and woman made out of dark chocolate - because they were inciting 'racial hatred'.

The 'God' and Goddess' cakes, which were topped with the chocolate figures of a naked, plump man and woman with pink lips and protruding genitalia, were deemed offensive by a French court after a complaint by a shocked resident.

A judge concluded that treats - sold in a 'boulangerie' in the town of Grasse, NIce - showed 'two people of colour in grotesque and obscene attitudes', adding they violate 'human dignity, especially that of the African people or people of African descent.'

Desperate Rahm suggests renaming airport after Obama

Rahm Emanuel is in a fight for his political life, facing a tough re-election election vote on April 7, and running against Jesus “Chuy” Garcia in a city with a large and growing Hispanic population. That is probably the reason he would suggest renaming one of two Chicago airports – Midway and O’Hare – after Barack Obama. The city’s substantial black vote is, after all, up for grabs.

When asked at a candidate forum at Chicago State University why he was no longer supporting his own proposal to name two high schools after Obama and influential religious and community leader Arthur Brazier, Emanuel said that he was still looking for ways to “acknowledge people who have done significant things.”

“We have an airport, two of them, you know, Midway Airport, O’Hare Airport,” Emanuel said. “[Obama and Brazier] are people who have been transformative in the city of Chicago. But we have airports named after battleships.”

Agenda 21

The onslaught on Rural America is rooted in Agenda 21, the United Nations’ agenda for the 21st century, itself the outgrowth of The Unfinished Agenda and Report From Iron Mountain. Despite the great-sounding slogans like open space, sustainable development, smart growth, restoration, and the Wilderness Project, Agenda 21 calls for nothing less than a world-wide revolution that will affect every person, family, nation, and civilization. Everything and everyone one will be under centralized controls that override individual choice. This is not a theory. The agenda is available for everyone to view. Hear it being advocated in Congress on October 2, 1992.

Half-Truths vs. Hard Facts on QAC Homeless Shelter Location

Update: Stevensville Shelter Funding Pending at State Offices, Commissioner Favors Relocation, Others Silent As Misinformation Campaign Exposed

* The $2.7 million, 44-bed Queen Anne's County AC Homeless Shelter Project by Kent Island’s four schools, park, and trail is pending approval by the Maryland Secretary of Housing.  It will then be sent to the BPW.   It is to be paid for almost entirely by the Maryland Dept of Housing, using state and federal funds.

* As details emerge, a growing number of citizens are concerned, and a petition has drawn hundreds of signatures

Commissioner Robert Buckey has said that he supports a homeless shelter, but that it needs to be relocated away from Kent Island schools.  He states that donors have come forward to assist the county.

* Meanwhile, other commissioners and state representatives remain silent, even as the county's ongoing campaign of disinformation is exposed.   email saveourstevensville@gmail.com for more background and documents.

"We've been totally transparent and have cut no corners." - QAC Commission President Jim Moran 8/20/14
Half Truths vs. Hard Facts

Haven Ministries "Fact" Sheet:   “Transitional home has operated over 3 years at the exact same location…”
REAL FACTS:
The existing 1248 sq. ft. ranch home was used by women and children only, as a transitional shelter (2 months to 2 years.)
It will be demolished and replaced by an 8,623 sf, two-story facility for single men, as well as women and children.  Up to 20 per-night homeless bunks and up to 24 transitional homeless bunks. The overnight-only shelter, to be relocated from Chester, will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm  -
source: QAC grant applications

The county always intended to build an emergency overnight shelter with a future transitional facility. Not until five months after the property was purchased was it decided to renovate the home for temporary use by a family until construction funds could be obtained for a brand new building.  - source: QAC grant applications and emails

Canada's Version of David Letterman's Top 10 List of America 's Stupidity

Canada's Version of David Letterman's Top 10 List. Just makes you wanna shake your head in disbelief. This is Canada 's Top Ten List of America 's Stupidity. Of course, we look like idiots because we are.

Number 10 - Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 per plate Obama campaign fund-raising event.

Number 9 - Only in America ...could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black while only 14% of the population is black 40+% of all federal entitlements goes to black Americans - 3X the rate that go to whites, 5X the rate that go to Hispanics!

Number 8 - Only in America ...could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (the head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

Number 7 - Only in America ...can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

Number 6 - Only in America...would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while they discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just 'magically' become American citizens (probably should be number one).

Number 5 - Only in America .... could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country's Constitution be thought of as EXTREMIST’S.

Number 4 - Only in America ...could you need to present a driver's license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

Number 3 - Only in America ...could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. Oil company(Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

Number 2 - Only in America ... could you collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year - for total spending of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn't have nearly enough money .

And Number 1 - Only in America...could the rich people- who pay 86% of all income taxes - be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.
