Liberian war criminal living in Delaware County convicted of immigration fraud and perjury

PHILADELPHIA –
On July 3, 2018, a defendant in Collingdale, Pennsylvania was found guilty by a federal jury of immigration fraud and perjury charges, following a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) led investigation, with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Jucontee Thomas Woewiyu, 72, lied on his application for U.S. citizenship by denying that he advocated the overthrow of any government by force or violence and by denying that he ever persecuted any person because of membership in a social group or their political opinion.

Woewiyu is a founder and the former Minister of Defense, chief spokesperson, and negotiator for the National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL), which was an armed rebel group led by Charles Taylor and committed to removing the Samuel Doe government forcibly from power in Liberia in the late 1980s and 1990s. On numerous occasions over the years, Woewiyu publicly confirmed his prominent position in the NPFL and advocated the overthrow of the Doe government by force or violence.

Body Language Expert: Rod Rosenstein Confirmed Obama Administration Spied on Trump Campaign Much Earlier than Stated

An Internet body language expert (Bombards Body Language) reviewed the recent Congressional Hearings with corrupt Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and his accomplice FBI Director Christopher Wray. Her analysis shows that Rosenstein confirmed to Congress through his body language that the Obama Administration spied on the Trump Campaign long before they state the spying began (July 2016).

The expert from Bombards Body Language again released an excellent analysis of the corrupt left wing members and this time it was of dishonest Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and his accomplice FBI Director Christopher Wray in front of Congress.

During her 45 minute analysis, the expert points out at the 15 minute mark that Rosenstein confirms that the Obama Administration spied on the Trump Campaign before the date they earlier stated was when their illegitimate spying began.

San Francisco’s crisis looks like New York’s future

“A major medical association is pulling its annual convention out of the city — saying its members no longer feel safe,” reports the San Francisco Chronicle. It’s a loss of approximately $40 million for the city and a warning to other cities with similar policies, like New York: You could be next.

Beautiful, hilly San Francisco has become known as the city where 20 pounds of poop was dumped on a sidewalk last week in a clear bag and remained there for hours. As The Post noted, “human waste-related complaints in San Francisco have skyrocketed 400 percent from 2008 to 2018,” and “In 2017 alone, more than 21,000 reports were received.”

What happened in San Francisco is obvious. It stopped prosecuting quality-of-life offenses and, unsurprisingly, the quality of life for the city’s residents and visitors decreased sharply.

Boston Weighs Measure To Let Foreign Nationals Vote In Elections

Just in time for the upcoming midterm elections, Boston City Council is holding a hearing Tuesday to discuss the idea of voting rights for non-US citizens living in the country legally, according to Boston.com.

The hearing called by Council President Andrea Campbell is aimed at a discussion on how to make city elections "more inclusive" for the roughly 190,000 foreign-born residents of the city, who would be allowed the right to vote in municipal races.

That could include legal permanent residents, visa holders and those on Temporary Protected Status or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. -Boston.com

Foreign-born residents account for around 28% of Boston's population according to Campbell's order, which claims non-US citizens paid $116 million in local and state taxes, while generating over $3.4 billion in spending according to a 2015 city report.

No, The #WalkAway Movement Isn't Run By Russian Bots

Democrats want you to believe the #Walkaway campaign is a right-wing propaganda effort being propped up by a legion of Russian bots, but don't you believe it. Brandon Straka's WalkAway Facebook group now has over 106,000 members and anyone who takes the time to read their stories will quickly be disabused of the notion that it is run by bots.

The #WalkAway stories are compelling, and often quite moving. People from every imaginable background -- black, white, Hispanic, rich, poor, straight, gay, trans, and even celebrity -- explain why they left the party. Most of these people voted Democrat their whole lives and most have lost friends for supporting President Trump. Most have also found solace in the #WalkAway community.

In 2016, the Democrat media complex ignored the massive grassroots movement that come out in support for Trump, dismissing his massive rallies and popularity online as somehow insignificant. Now they are dismissing the #WalkAway campaign as a propaganda movement created by bots.

"We Live In A State Of Emergency": Chicago Protesters Shut Down Highway To Demand Americans Disarm

Thousands of protesters led by Father Michael Pfleger shut down the Dan Ryan Expressway on Saturday to demand "common sense gun laws, community resources, better schools, jobs and economic development."

The protesters began pouring onto the freeway at approximately 10:20 a.m., carrying banners and shouting "Shut it down."

At about 11:30 a.m., protesters negotiated with authorities to shut down all northbound lanes for the protest march and began moving again. Earlier, Governor Bruce Rauner's office had earlier warned that anyone going across the barrier would be arrested, but no arrests have been reported. -ABC 7 Chicago

Illinois governor Bruce Rauner lashed out at the protest over Twitter - saying "This is unacceptable. We had clear parameters that allowed the protestors to be heard while respecting law and order. Instead, they chose instead to cause chaos," while admonishing Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel.

Town official faces calls for resignation after proclaiming July 'straight pride' month

A California vice-mayor’s declaration that July should be “straight pride” month has resulted in calls for his resignation or recall and threats of a demonstration at the next city council meeting.

Ted Hickman, the vice mayor of Dixon, California, noted in his “That’s Life” column in Dixon’s Independent Voice at the end of June that “last Sunday ended LGBTQF-WTF month … with tens of thousands of folks dancing and prancing all over American celebrating the fact they are different than most of the rest of us and showing their ‘pride’ in being so.”

With his tongue perhaps somewhat in his cheek, Mr. Hickman reminded readers that “last week I proclaimed the Month of July as SPAM … (Straight Pride American Month… as Vice Mayor don’t know if I can, but what the heck).”

“Now hundreds of millions of the rest of us can celebrate our month, peaking on July 4th, as healthy, heterosexual, fairly monogamous, keep our kinky stuff to ourselves, Americans,” he wrote in the community paper for the town just west of Sacramento.

“Don’t get me wrong,” he cautioned in his column. “I support the First Amendment, as much as the next person, and support the rights of grown men to wear skin tight short-shorts and go-go boots and don tinker bell wings with wand and prance down the streets of San Francisco.”

His column, which also is available on his personal blog, also referred to “the tinker bells” and “dressing up like fairies.”

Hospitals Are Making A Killing On Poorly Nourished Patients As Insolvency Of Medicare Part A Looms

It is intuitive that nutritional status at hospital admission predicts the outcome of treatment and length of stay. Yet too many older patients are over-drugged and undernourished on the day of their admission to the hospital and not only experience more complications and hospital-acquired infections, but by conservative estimation spend an extra costly day or two in the hospital.

If nutritional assessment and corrective therapy were to be instituted upon hospital admission and reduced hospital length of stay by just 1 day, it is estimated in this report that practice would save $73 billion to Medicare Part A. That represents 24.5% of the $293 billion of Medicare funds spent on hospitalization (Part A).

This is just the estimated savings that would be achieved if nutrient deficiencies for just two vitamins – vitamins C and D, were to be corrected upon hospital admission. Further savings in billions of dollars would be anticipated for correction of other common essential nutrient deficiencies such as vitamin B1, B9 (folic acid), B12, zinc and magnesium.

DHS Prepares H-2B Reform Plan

The Department of Homeland Security is drafting recommendations for Congress to reform the H-2B cheap-labor program, according to a July 6 letter to Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, the chairman of the Senate’s judiciary committee.

“The report will include options on how the program can better serve out national interests … DHS is committed to ensuring that our immigration system is implemented lawfully and that American workers are protected,” said the letter, signed by L Francis Cissna, the director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency.

One reform urged by Cissna would be a requirement that participating companies agree to use the E-Verify program to screen all employees for work eligibility. The E-Verify system is free, and it allows companies to reject illegal immigrants who are using fake identities.

However, legislators are unlikely to approve any H-2B reform which reduces the annual inflow of H-2B workers, or which allocates them towards the industries which least able to hire temporary U.S. workers, such as the shrimp industry in the Gulf of Mexico or the crab industry in Maryland.

FDA Investigates Multi-state Outbreak of Cyclospora illnesses linked to Del Monte Vegetable Trays

FDA, CDC, state, and local partners are currently investigating several Cyclospora illnesses associated with recalled Del Monte 6oz and 12oz vegetable trays containing broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and dill dip that were sold by Kwik Trip/Kwik Star locations in IA, IN, MI, MN, and WI. Additionally, Del Monte is recalling “small veggie trays,” which are 28oz and include broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery and dill dip that were distributed to Illinois and Indiana.

As of July 5, 2018, CDC has reported 212 laboratory-confirmed cases of cyclosporiasis in persons from IA, MN, WI and MI who reportedly consumed the vegetable trays. Seven of these people have been hospitalized and no deaths have been reported. The two cases from Michigan reportedly purchased the vegetable tray in Wisconsin and therefore Michigan is not impacted from this outbreak.

On June 8, 2018, Del Monte withdrew their 6oz and 12oz vegetable trays from retail market locations, and they are not currently available for purchase. However, consumers who purchased these trays before the withdrawal may still have product in their homes since the expiration date is June 17, 2018 or earlier. The 28oz vegetable trays that were distributed to IL and IN are being recalled as of June 15, 2018. Del Monte reports the recalled products were distributed to: Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Demond’s, Sentry, Potash, Meehan’s, Country Market, FoodMax Supermarket and Peapod in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin and have “Best If Enjoyed By” date of June 17, 2018 or earlier.

FDA has not identified which of the ingredients is the vehicle for this outbreak; each component of these vegetable trays is under consideration. FDA is currently reviewing distribution and supplier information related to the vegetable trays; the investigation is ongoing.

Governor Larry Hogan, Federal Government Sign Maryland Model All-Payer Contract

New Five-Year Contract for Innovative Healthcare Provider Payment System to Save $1 Billion, Lower Costs & Improve Quality for Consumers
ANNAPOLIS, MD– Governor Larry Hogan, together with Seema Verma, Administrator of the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), today signed and officially enacted Maryland’s Total Cost of Care All-Payer Model, known as the “Maryland Model,” in a signing ceremony at the Maryland State House.
Governor Hogan and Administrator Verma were joined by Maryland Department of Health Secretary Robert Neall, Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller, Speaker of the House Michael Busch, as well as numerous healthcare industry representatives and advocates. The Maryland Model is an innovative approach to healthcare provider payment that is unique to Maryland and made possible via a contract between CMS and the state. The new model contract is expected to provide an additional $300 million in savings per year by 2023, totaling $1 billion in savings over five years.
“We are thrilled to be here today to officially execute and enact our unique and innovative Maryland Model, which is the only one of its kind in the nation,” said Governor Larry Hogan. “Today, we are taking another major step forward in our efforts to ensure that every Marylander has access to quality healthcare. It is my hope that these actions will be an example to the nation that when both sides of the aisle and all levels of government come together to develop innovative solutions, we can make real progress toward addressing our healthcare challenges and making care more accessible and more affordable.”
Governor Hogan recognized and thanked Administrator Verma, along with Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, Secretary Neall, Maryland Department of Health COO Dennis Schrader, Health Services Cost Review Commission Chairman Nelson Sabatini, the presiding officers, and the stakeholders and advocates who worked to make this important achievement possible.
“This Model is a step towards aligning the entire delivery system toward paying for value over volume,” said CMS Administrator Seema Verma. “Maryland has led the way by adopting the first alternative payment model to shift hospital payments to full global budgets. Success under this new Model will require both hospitals and physicians to be equally committed to payment transformation and care redesign. We look forward to seeing the great work to come and to continuing to partner with you Governor Hogan, and the whole state of Maryland in this bold initiative.”

Democrats Love Socialism Because They Want To Take Your Stuff And Enslave You

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is less hideously unattractive than the usual Democrat potentate or potentatette and has therefore been anointed the new face of her pathetic party. This dumb woman, who looks like Huma Abedin without the pedohubby and the weird relationship with Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit, took advantage of her even dumber New York district in order to get elected to Congress by calling herself a “socialist.” Yeah, the subject of a thousand Trader Joe’s house brand chardonnay toasts is a proud adherent of the ideology that butchered 100 million people in the last century.

Considering how much mainstream liberals hate us Normal Americans for militantly defending our rights, it’s no surprise that they are looking to their leftist ancestors for some helpful hints about how to deal with us uppity, kulak-y obstacles to their rightful and permanent domination of society.

Totally unrelated: I know I’m super excited about the idea of giving up our guns right about now. How about you?

Nancy Pelosi Vows To ‘Avenge President Obama If It’s The Last Thing I Do’

“But I’m determined to avenge President Obama if it’s the last thing I do,” she claimed, before asking supporters to click on a link to donate.

At least not ALL football players are disrespectful to our country

Michigan State defensive back Jalen Watts-Jackson revealed last week he intends to join the U.S. Air Force and said Monday he’s ready to “put my goals over my dreams.”

Watts-Jackson, whose father served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, started to put things into focus during his senior year, he told “FOX & Friends.

Watts-Jackson talked to his cousin, who is serving in the military and prayed before deciding, he said.

“My goal is to overall be successful in something I love doing every day, and I feel like the Air Force would give me an opportunity to get a good career going for myself,” Watts-Jackson said.

Watts-Jackson explained that serving in the military is just as important to him as becoming a professional athlete or celebrity on the field.

“I feel like fighting for this country and fighting for this nation is just as important,” he said. “You can make just as well a living. You can overall do something great for the people around you.”

Pelosi: Dems Must Win Midterms To Preserve ‘Civilization’

House Minority Leader hopes ‘blue wave’ reverses MAGA

Democrats must win the midterms for “civilization” to have a future, says House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

“Civilization as we know it today is at risk in this election,” Pelositold Rolling Stone. “We have to win. We have to win.”

Pelosi warned Democrats not to get complacent, and that a so-called “blue wave” can only take place when all the separate “droplets” come together to vote in the midterms.

“People say, ‘Is it a wave? Is it a tsunami?’ Well, it’s a lot of droplets that make up a wave or a tsunami,” Pelosi said.

“I don’t want people to think that there’s a wave coming so that they don’t have to work very hard in every single district,” she added.

Mariners, swimmers warned of dangerous weather and rip currents from Tropical Storm Chris

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Coast Guard would like to warn mariners and beachgoers of hazardous weather and sea states that could take place as Tropical Storm Chris makes its way up the east coast.

Wind, waves and visibility can quickly become problematic for boaters, while the increased sea states leading up to and after a tropical storm can create powerful rip currents.

Swimmers are urged to only swim at beaches with active duty lifeguards and to follow local advisories at their beach for beach closures and rip currents.

Recreational and commercial mariners are advised to put safety first and operate within their vessel’s parameters and not to go out in heavy weather.

“Rip currents are serious risk in the mid-Atlantic.  If you head to the beach, pay attention to the local beach advisories and check the weather forecast before you go,” said Mr. Matt Brooks, command duty officer at the 5th District command center. “There have been numerous deaths this year due to rip currents.  Swim at a beach with a lifeguard and do not swim after hours.”

  • Rip currents are a significant threat along the mid-Atlantic coast, primarily along the southern Outer Banks in North Carolina, in Maryland waterways and off the New Jersey shore.

  • The most important safety precaution people should take regarding rip currents is to swim only at beaches where lifeguards are on duty. Lifeguards are highly trained and are the first line of defense when beachgoers are swept away by rip currents. Don’t take the risk of swimming at an unguarded beach.

  • The presence of rip currents along our coasts is another reason people should wear life jackets at all times. People who fall overboard boats or overturn paddlecraft could potentially be affected by rip currents, and wearing a life jacket could help save their lives.

Stevenson, Ronnell
Incident: Assault on a Deputy
Date of Incident: 8 July 2018
Location: Foxfield Circle, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Ronnell L. Stevenson, 39, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 8 July 2018 at 11:49 AM, a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle operated by Ronnell Stevenson for a traffic violation but Stevenson did not stop right away, continuing a short distance onto the property of the Foxfield Apartments. Stevenson immediately exited his vehicle and became argumentative with the deputy over the reason for the stop. During the encounter, the deputy could detect the odor of what was identified as marijuana emanating from within Stevenson’s vehicle. The deputy obtained the driver’s license and registration from Stevenson who then sat in his vehicle.
Instead of waiting for the conclusion of the stop, Stevenson grabbed a backpack from inside the vehicle and began running from the scene of the traffic stop. The deputy immediately gave chase and caught up with Stevenson who aggressively resisted the efforts of the deputy to take him into custody. At one point Stevenson had the deputy in a choke hold as the struggle ensued. The deputy managed to release himself from Stevenson’s grasp but was temporarily incapacitated and unable to give immediate chase due to a significant injury sustained during the struggle. The deputy managed to get up and eventually located Stevenson in the nearby vicinity and detained him as additional deputies arrived, however Stevenson had discarded the book bag.
Stevenson was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Stevenson in the Detention Center without bond.
The deputy was subsequently treated and released from Peninsula Regional Medical Center

Germany: Migrant Decapitates Baby, Government Tries To Cover It Up

Authorities raid home of man who posted video

Authorities in Germany tried to cover-up the brutal murder of a German woman and a 1-year-old baby girl in Hamburg by an illegal immigrant from Niger by raiding the apartment of the man who posted a video of the incident online.

On April 12, 33-year-old Mourtala Madou stabbed his German ex-girlfriend, identified as Sandra P., and their one-year-old baby daughter, Miriam, at a Hamburg subway station. The woman’s 3-year-old son was also a witness to the carnage.

A gospel singer named Daniel J. who arrived at the subway moments after the attack and filmed the bloody scene on his phone witnessed that the baby had been almost or completely decapitated.

Ellison on Running for Minnesota AG: ‘Not Looking to Climb Some Career Ladder’

The progressive congressman says he'd rather litigate the Trump administration than work in Congress

Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) made a surprise announcement last month to run for Minnesota’s attorney general, and in a new interview he said he doesn't care about the "career ladder."

"I am not looking to climb some career ladder," Ellison told the Guardian in an interviewpublished Sunday. "I don’t give a damn about that. What I care about is how can I help the most people. How can I be maximally effective in defense of people’s economic and social rights, that’s what I care about."

Ellison, who is also the deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee, is running on the promise to oppose President Donald Trump’s policies from the office of attorney general of Minnesota. He said the challenge in Congress is having enough votes to pass progressive legislation, but as attorney general he would have his desired latitude to engage in litigation.

"In order for me to do anything about it as member of Congress, anything real, I gotta have enough people in Congress to vote for it," he said.

Nunes Expands SpyGate Probe To House, Oversight Committees; Refers Dozens For Public Testimony

House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) has been a busy man.

In a Thursday letter to two fellow GOP chairmen, Nunes referred 15 people connected to the Russia investigation to testify in an "open setting." Many of those on the list are tied directly to Hillary Clinton, Fusion GPS and the infamous "Steele dossier" - a collection of 17 memos full of compromising yet unverified claims about President Trump's ties to Russia.

The names on the list include Sidney Blumenthal, Fusion GPS founders Glenn Simpson and Thomas Catan, Perkins Coie attorney Marc Elias, and former FBI agent and Feinstein staffer Daniel Jones, who is spearheading a $50 million Soros-funded effort to continue the Trump-Russia investigation with Fusion GPS and Steele.

The Steele dossier was compiled by former MI6 spy Christopher Steele on behalf of opposition research firm Fusion GPS, and was funded in part by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

Trump to Go After Mueller For 9/11-Saudi Cover-Up

President about to drop the hammer on former FBI Director for burying Saudi involvement in attacks
President Trump may be about to drop the hammer on Robert Mueller by exposing his role in helping to cover-up Saudi Arabia’s role in 9/11.

Mueller has been involved in the systematic cover-up of the true circumstances behind 9/11 since day one, which is why he has been a constant roadblock to victim’s families who are attempting to seek compensation from Saudi Arabia for their role in the attacks.

During an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show last night, attorney for 9/11 victim’s families Jim Kreindler said that rush to war with Iraq meant that the Saudi connection to 9/11 needed to be buried and Mueller was instrumental in making this happen.

This is why the Bush administration allowed prominent Saudis, including members of the Bin Laden family, to leave the country even as flights were grounded nationwide.

Headless Robespierre's Cautionary Tale For The 'Alt Left' Unleashed On America

America is on the cusp of something it has never truly experienced: mob rule.

To “feed” a mob, witch-hunts are essential. New enemies must be in constant supply to keep the mob moving. Problematically, witch-hunts never end well for the witch-hunters.

Just ask Maximilien Robespierre, one of the chief architects of the French Revolution and the infamous “Reign of Terror.”

It was 1794. Heads were rolling, literally, and “Madame la Guillotine” was more popular than ever. At first, the mob was content with the heads of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette. The king bankrupted France by helping America win its independence with mountains of debt, all while a horrible famine ravaged the nation simultaneously. Many died of starvation. It was during the famine that the queen told her subjects, “Let them eat cake.”

With the king and queen gone, the mob's appetite grew. They now required the heads of the aristocracy.

After the aristocracy was gone, Robespierre’s Committee on Public Safety (a massive misnomer) began sending anyone and everyone to the Guillotine -- even other members of the committee itself -- in order to satisfy the appetite of the mob. Georges Danton, the other influential thinker behind the French revolution, was executed by the committee.

Royals lurked under every rock and behind every tree, and unsupported suspicion was the only thing needed to deprive a person of their head.

In the ultimate twist of irony, the mob eventually required Robespierre’s head.

As Temperatures Soar, Study Warns of Fatal Heat Stroke at Work

Much of the United States has been sweltering in triple-digit heat this week, but new research finds outdoor workers can suffer fatal heat stroke from temperatures that only reach the high 80s.

In fact, six of 14 cases of fatal heat stroke investigated in the new study "occurred when the Heat Index was below 91 degrees Fahrenheit," noted a team led by Dr. Aaron Tustin, from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

The Heat Index -- often announced on media weather forecasts -- is a calculation of heat and humidity that gauges how the combination "feels" to the human body. It also assumes the person is in the shade, wearing a single layer of light clothing.

Early summer heat waves are particularly deadly, the OSHA researchers said, since people may not yet be acclimatized to high temperatures.

Dr. Robert Glatter, an ER doctor at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, has seen many cases of heat stroke.

"It's important to remember that extreme heat combined with humidity can kill," said Glatter, who wasn't involved in the new study. "Extremes of heat are most concerning to public safety, and a large number of heat-related deaths are generally preventable."

Voters in Key Swing District Reject 'Abolish ICE' Push

'This is just noise to try to get attention'

CARLSBAD, CALIF.—
It's a typically mild, bright, and cloudless Fourth of July in this beachside swing Congressional district just a thirty-minute drive north of the San Diego border.

Relaxed customers amble into a grocery store, some with children and dogs in tow, to gather last-minute items for their patriotic festivities.

Most are not eager or willing to stop and talk about one of the most divisive political topics of the day—a new push by some Democrats to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the federal government agency known as ICE.

Those who do stop to chat say they disagree with the rhetoric coming from liberal protesters and left-wing Democratic lawmakers and candidates demonizing the federal agency charged with detaining and deporting illegal immigrants.

The Best Way to Ice Drinks in a Cooler

If you’re having a BBQ this summer, you’ll probably ensure your guests’ thirst stays slaked by stocking a big cooler full of soda and beer. While there’s obviously not much to that, there are in fact less and more effective ways of making sure these drinks are cold and accessible.

The less effective way is to place the bottles and cans atop a big mound of ice. They won’t get thoroughly chilled that way. You also don’t want to bury them in the ice; people’s hands will get cold and cut up when they try to dig through the pile to grab a drink.

The more effective method is to fill the cooler with a 80/20 mixture of ice and water. Then put the bottles/cans in so that the body of the vessels sits in the ice, but their tops/necks stick out; this lets your guests grab the drinks without getting their hands wet, cold, and nicked.

If you’re in a hurry to chill your drinks, gently (very gently!), spin the bottles/cans around every few minutes; this will distribute the liquid that’s already been chilled throughout the vessel.

Dem Candidate Gave Away Millions, But Not One Penny for His Own District

Scott Wallace's family foundation steered millions to anti-Israel, environmental, left-wing groups

A wealthy Democratic congressional candidate's family foundation that was criticized for giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to anti-Israel groups has not given money to any organizations or charities located in the district he's seeking to represent, according to a review of his fund's tax forms.

Scott Wallace is running against Republican incumbent Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick in Pennsylvania's first congressional district. Wallace is the grandson of former vice president Henry Wallace and inherited a fortune after his grandfather's company sold for billions in the 1990s.

Members of the Wallace family established the Wallace Global Fund, a progressive foundation, as a means to "promote an informed and engaged citizenry, to fight injustice, and to protect the natural systems upon which all life demands." The fund hands out millions in grants each year and reported nearly $150 million in assets on its most recent tax forms. Wallace led the group along with his wife from the early 2000s until shortly before announcing his candidacy.

The Forward reported in May that the Wallace Global Fund had given $300,000 to a number of groups that promote the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaigns against Israel, which may cause some awkwardness for his campaign as he is seeking to capture a seat in one of the most Jewish districts in the United States. The Republican Jewish Coalition poured$530,000 in an ad campaign to hit Wallace over the donations to the groups.
