San Francisco Plane Crash: TV Station Duped Into Giving Racist, False Names Of Pilots By NTSB Intern

Oakland's KTVU apologizes for saying 'Captain Sum Ting Wong,' 'Wi Tu Lo,' 'Ho Lee Fuk,' and 'Bang Ding Ow' flew the plane - but says NTSB had confirmed the names. It was later revealed that an NTSB intern erroneously confirmed the crew manifest to the station.

PROTESTER REBUKED BY ANGRY WOMAN FOR BRINGING UP LGBT ‘OPPRESSION’ AT TRAYVON MARTIN RALLY: THIS IS NOT ABOUT ‘NO GAY S**T!’

A protester who mentioned the “oppression” of the LGBT community at a pro-Trayvon Martin rally in Washington, D.C., over the weekend was chastised by a female demonstrator for mingling the two causes. “This is about a black kid getting shot down because he was black, not no gay sh*t!” she said.

“The case of Trayvon Martin makes something abundantly clear…there’s democracy in this country for a group of people, for the 1 percent, and the rest of us, the working class, black and brown people, LBGTQ people, we don’t get democracy,” a bearded protester says on video, speaking through a megaphone.

“We get capitalism, we get white supremacy, we get homophobia and LGBTQ oppression,” he added.” We’ve got to change that, and if there’s any question about, do we have democracy in this country, I think the case of Trayvon Martin answers that question very clearly.”

NTSB: Plane Found Fractured On Ocean Floor

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- The National Transportation Safety Board's preliminary report on the Ocean City plane crash that killed two off-duty police officers says the plane appeared intact as it hit the ocean and it was found together, but fractured from impact.

The report states that divers found the fractured small military-style plane together on the ocean floor but the left wing was lost during recovery. The NTSB says investigators hope to salvage video from a camera in the rear cockpit. A second report will be released when the investigation is complete and a final report will include findings and a probable cause for the crash.

Obama’s Alinskyite Administration

Judicial Watch, a conservative legal foundation, has used the Freedom of Information Act to uncover documents that show Eric Holder’s Justice Department used a “community relations” unit to support and stage-manage public protests in Florida against George Zimmerman after his controversial February 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Justice’s Community Relations Service (CRS) even helped organize a meeting between Sanford, Fla., public officials and the local NAACP. The result was the resignation of police chief Bill Lee over his handling of the Martin case. While his resignation was rescinded after a few weeks by local officials, Chief Lee faced further pressure to leave his job and ultimately quit for good two months later. Valerie Houston, one of the pastors leading the protests against Zimmerman and Lee, praised the Community Relations Service as being “there for us.”

Plans To Wind Down Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Brew In Congress

After five years in government hands, the mortgage buyers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are facing major changes in Congress.

Lawmakers in both the Senate and House want to wind down the two government-sponsored enterprises that failed in fall 2008, almost dragging the economy down with them before being bailed out with almost $200 billion in taxpayer funds.

Any attempted changes to their status would face fierce lobbying by banks and other companies in the mortgage industry, and will face a tricky path through a Congress that is divided on the role of the government in housing finance. But there are signs that lawmakers are getting serious about trying to address the issue.

Lazenby: The Shadow Supreme Court

HOW FISA IS ABUSING "SPECIAL NEEDS" DOCTRINE
America’s Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Court has become in essence a parallel Supreme Court – a “shadow” court, if you will. This has created – as The New York Times reported this weekend – a secret and separate body of law granting the National Security Agency (NSA) “power to amass vast collections of data on Americans while pursuing not only terrorism suspects, but also people possibly involved in nuclear proliferation, espionage and cyberattacks.”

Former intelligence officers familiar with the court’s classified opinions told the Times that the 11-member court, which originally focused on approving wiretapping orders in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, has dramatically expanded its role. It has been addressing broad constitutional questions and establishing important judicial precedents without the same public scrutiny given to Supreme Court orders.

Thus, a growing body of law regarding the surveillance of American citizens is being issued from a court whose orders remain sealed.

WHO ARE THE REAL TRAITORS?

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Jury Instructions At Center Of Zimmerman Verdict

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) -- Jurors who acquitted George Zimmerman of all charges were guided in their deliberations by 27 pages of jury instructions that included two sections giving them an option to find him not guilty: justifiable use of deadly force and reasonable doubt.

The acquittal of the former neighborhood watch leader left many Americans wondering Sunday how the justice system could allow him to walk away from the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed black teenager whose death provoked a long national debate over racial profiling and self-defense.

But the essential criteria for deciding the case came from the court itself, which told jurors that Zimmerman was allowed to use deadly force when he shot the teen not only if he actually faced death or bodily harm, but also if he merely thought he did.

More On The Obamacare Implosion

America’s new socialized medicine law – rammed down the throat of a reluctant Congress in 2010 and upheld by a divided Supreme Court a year ago – is proving to be a bit of a bear to implement.

Last week the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama announced its decision to delay the implementation of a key provision of the law – the employer mandate – while this week a report in National Journal reveals the extent to which the White House has known about looming problems with the bill’s controversial state-run exchanges.

The common thread in both stories? An administration which is literally rewriting the law on the fly …

Vessels Capsize Offshore In Same Location This Weekend

OCEAN CITY -- Potential tragedy was averted over the weekend as two vessels capsized at roughly the same location two days apart and the boats were still out bobbing in the ocean as of midday on Monday.

On Saturday, a 23-foot catamaran capsized in the ocean about 25-30 miles southeast of the Ocean City Inlet. A Good Samaritan vessel responded to the capsized vessel and safely removed its occupants. However, the sailboat did not sink and remained floating in the ocean in roughly the same location as of Monday.

On Sunday, another vessel, this time a 23-foot Grady White capsized at roughly the same site in an area referred to, ironically, as the Twin Wrecks. Again, a Good Samaritan vessel responded and took the unidentified occupants to safety. The Grady White was still bobbing with its hull side up on Monday. According to a source, both vessels appeared to be in good condition and there were no obvious signs of damage or distress.

Search Engine “Duck Duck Go” Experiences Traffic Surge In Wake of NSA Scandal

The tremendous positive impact from Edward Snowden’s NSA revelations will only be properly appreciated in the years and decades ahead, but I believe they will be extraordinary. In fact, we are already seeing many of them. From therecent halt on the CISPA bill in Congress, to the forced exposure of authoritarian shills in the mainstream media as they struggle to publicly defend the NSA. However, perhaps the most significant long-term impact will be the resulting boom in the privacy business. If you recall, I wrote a piece titled Bitcoin and Kim Dotcom: Why it’s Time to “Encrypt Everything” a couple of months ago.

In what I think is great news, the alternative, “non-tracking” search engine Duck Duck Go has seen a surge in traffic since the NSA scandal was revealed. As was noted in a Guardian article from today: “If the NSA demanded data from DuckDuckGo, there would be none to hand over.” More on this fascinating trend below:

Anti-Hillary 2016 PAC takes shape

With more than three years until the next presidential election, Republican operatives are launching a super PAC called the Hillary Project -- presumably aiming to derail a prospective Hillary Clinton bid for the White House -- according to papers filed with the Federal Election Commission Thursday.

Its treasurer is Christopher Marston, the man behind a super PAC that helped Rick Santorum hold his own in the 2012 Republican presidential primaries with $8.5 million in expenditures, the Red, White & Blue Fund, and it lists as an address a post office box in the early primary state of New Hampshire.

The PAC's leaders, reached through Marston, did not immediately return a request for comment.

Democrats Vow To Press Ahead With Filibuster Change

Declaring that the country has a presidential nominations crisis, the Senate’s top Democrat vowed Sunday to press ahead with showdown votes this week that could end up rewriting Senate rules to power through President Obama’s team but also threatens to end the comity that is essential to the chamber’s operations.

Sen. Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, said he wants to tweak the rules to stop Republicans from being able to filibuster when Mr. Obama nominates someone to fill an executive branch or independent agency job — though Mr. Reid would continue to allow filibusters for judges.

“The changes we’re making are very, very minimal. What we’re doing is saying, ‘Look, American people, shouldn’t President Obama have somebody working for him that he wants?’” Mr. Reid said on NBC’s“Meet the Press” program as he defended using the so-called “nuclear option” to change the rules.

A Just Verdict

The George Zimmerman case was a wretched spectacle from the beginning, but for this we are glad: People in America are still tried in the courts rather than by left-wing protesters or by the media. To their credit, the jurors appear to have decided the case strictly on the facts, which gave them no choice other than to acquit Zimmerman, despite the long campaign of defamation against him outside the courtroom.

The most compelling moment in the post-verdict press conference by Zimmerman’s legal team came when Mark O’Mara slapped the media for making a monster out of his client. You don’t have to endorse Zimmerman’s poor judgment that night to realize that he didn’t commit a crime and isn’t a bullying white racist circa 1955. He isn’t even white, so the media had to resort to the “white-Hispanic” label to save their racial storyline. If Zimmerman had set out to assassinate Trayvon Martin, he never would have called the police to alert them to Martin’s whereabouts.

Non-Sexualized Boy Scouts Alternative Launched

Recently, millions of Americans were shocked and saddened when the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) disgracefully bowed to left-wing political pressure and became something it had never before been: a hyper-politicized, aberrantly sexualized petri dish for social and sexual experimentation.

Created in 1910 to “prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes,” the BSA, on May 23, 2013, inexplicably voted to welcome into its ranks “open and avowed” homosexuality (boy-on-boy sexual attraction and behavior), thereby disavowing the “morally straight” Scout Oath its members have been sworn to uphold for over a century.

Even worse, and in so doing, the BSA effectively waived the only legal defense it once had to preclude openly homosexual Scout leaders and gender-confused girls from its ranks: religious and moral conviction. It’s only a matter of time until the BSA is forced to capitulate to sexual extremists’ political demands and allow adult males who define their identity based upon carnal appetites for other males to take your boys on overnight camping trips.

Zimmerman's Lawyer Going After NBC News 'ASAP'

Now that the trial to determine whether or not he was guilty of a malicious murder is over, George Zimmerman's lawyers are stepping up their lawsuit against NBC News for airing edited audio that allegedly made their client look like a racist.

Last December, Zimmerman filed the lawsuit against NBC for airing what many outlets described as deceptively edited audio on the March 27 broadcast of the Today show.

On the morning show, NBC spliced together two lines spoken by Zimmerman as he talked to a 911 operator to report Trayvon Martin as a suspicious character wandering his neighborhood.

On the NBC version of the call, Zimmerman is heard to say: "This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black."

Obama Big Loser in Zimmerman Trial

Forget the over-zealous prosecutors and the repellent state attorney Angela Corey (who should be immediately disbarred or, my wife said sarcastically, elevated to director of Homeland Security) and even the unfortunate Trayvon Martin family (although it is certainly hard to forget them — they have our profound sympathies), the true loser at the Zimmerman trial was Barack Obama.

By injecting himself in a minor Florida criminal case by implying Martin could be his son, the president of the United States — a onetime law lecturer, of all things — disgraced himself and his office, made a mockery of our legal system and exacerbated racial tensions in our country, making them worse than they have been in years. This is the work of a reactionary, someone who consciously/unconsciously wants to push our nation back to the 1950s.

He added, “There was reasonable doubt all over the place.”

Answering 7 Key Questions About The George Zimmerman Trial That Explain Why He Was Found Innocent

1) How old was Trayvon Martin and how much size difference was there between him and Zimmerman? Initially, old photos of Trayvon Martin were shown in the media that made him appear to be about twelve years of age and Zimmerman’s weight has fluctuated dramatically. This has given many people the erroneous impression that a grown man was fighting a child. In actuality at the time of the incident, Trayvon Martin was a 17 year old, 6’2, 160 pound football player while according to his friend Joe Oliver, Zimmerman was 5’8 and 170 pounds. In other words, Martin was younger, 6 inches taller, more athletic and the more imposing of the two men.

On A Brighter Side Of Life

I took these images at home this morning.

JUSTICE FOR DARRYL

On Thursday, July 11, police discovered the rotting body of 17-year-old Darryl Green, a black child from the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. Green’s body was found behind a boarded-up house in the 6500-block of South Damen, face down on basement stairs. The body was so badly decomposed that originally, local news reports suggested that he had died of blunt force trauma. On Friday, an autopsy showed he had been shot to death. Relatives reported that Green had refused to join a gang at school.
Meanwhile, members of the media including Reverend Al Sharpton and Reverend Jesse Jackson focused on the “not guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman trial over Trayvon Martin. The only media outlets that have covered the murder of Darryl Green are The Chicago Sun-Times and ABC 7 Chicago. The New York Times’ Joe Nocera mentioned Green in passing in a blog post devoted to highlighting gun crimes across the country. President Obama has not commented on Green’s death. Neither have any other politicians, including local Congressmen Danny Davis and Bobby Rush, or Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Neither has anyone at MSNBC, CNN, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, The Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters, or throughout the Hollywood community.

In 513 Days Between Trayvon Dying And The Zimmerman Trial Verdict, 11,106 Blacks Have Been Murdered By OTHER BLACKS

To be exact, the shameful truth is that 93% of African-American murders are committed by other African-Americans. That is breathtakingly awful when you consider how incensed the African-American community is about the Trayvon tragedy, no matter what you believe about Zimmerman’s guilt.

Let’s do the gruesome math, not out of morbidity, but because it manifests the incredible self-centered insanity of people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

8,000-9,000 African-Americans are murdered each year.

93% of them by other African-Americans.

That’s 7,905 (from average)

That’s 21.65 murdered each day by other African-Americans.

And these racebaiting culture-hustling microphone-pimps only get riled up when a “White Hispanic” kills an African-American? It’s absolutely shameful.

Behold The Part-Time Worker Society: "We Won't Start Hiring Full-Time People"

Once again, as always happens with a very substantial delay, two themes that have been covered extensively on these pages in the past much to the ridicule of the mainstream media, namely that while the US may have "No Manufacturing Jobs But More Waiters And Bartenders Than Ever" and that Obamacare has finally struck as "Part-Time Jobs Surge To All Time High; Full-Time Jobs Plunge By 240,000" are now begrudgingly covered and in fact, endorsed, by the very same MSM.

Enter the Wall Street Journal which blends the two themes well known to our readers, and writes that "More Restaurants Replace Full-Timers, Concerned About Insurance."

To wit: "Ken Adams has been turning to more part-time workers at his 10 Subway sandwich shops in Michigan to avoid possibly incurring higher health-care costs under the new federal insurance law. He added approximately 25 part-time workers in May and June as he reduced some employees' hours and replaced other workers who left. The move showed how efforts by some restaurant owners and other businesses to remake their workforces because of the Affordable Care Act may be turning the country's labor market into a more part-time workforce." In other words, the already worst paying jobs in the US are getting even more of the shaft, downgraded from full time to part time status. Precisely the New "part-time worker society" that we predicted would happen back in 2010...

Thomas Sowell Asks "Who Is Racist?"

I am so old that I can remember when most of the people promoting race hate were white.

Apparently other Americans also recognize that the sources of racism are different today from what they were in the past. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 31 percent of blacks think that most blacks are racists, while 24 percent of blacks think that most whites are racist.

The difference between these percentages is not great, but it is remarkable nevertheless. After all, generations of blacks fought the white racism from which they suffered for so long. If many blacks themselves now think that most other blacks are racist, that is startling.

The moral claims advanced by generations of black leaders - claims that eventually touched the conscience of the nation and turned the tide toward civil rights for all - have now been cheapened by today’s generation of black “leaders,” who act as if it is all just a matter of whose ox is gored.

Even in legal cases involving terrible crimes - the O.J. Simpson murder trial or the charges of gang rape against Duke University students - many black “leaders” and their followers have not waited for facts about who was guilty and who was not, but have immediately taken sides, based on who was black and who was white.

Let’s Talk About Dead Black Children

I want to say something to the people who are taking to the streets or, more commonly, to the Internet, to express their outrage that an impartial female jury found a Hispanic man not guilty of committing a crime the State couldn’t prove. I need to tell you about something. I really hope you read this and think about it. You say that you’re angry and heartbroken about this case. You tell me you aren’t what you appear to be — vengeful and vindictive — that you are, instead, sincerely distressed and grief stricken because a black child is dead. You tell me that you feel as though nobody cares about Trayvon Martin’s demise because he was a black kid. You tell me you just want justice for the innocent and reparation for the helpless soul that has been slaughtered. The NAACP has asked Obama to impose double jeopardy on Zimmerman because he infringed on Martin’s “right to life.” That’s an exact quote. Right to life.
Ok. Well, I don’t agree with your assessment of this case, and I think you’re still repeating long debunked bits of propaganda. I think if you actually looked at the evidence presented you might come to a different conclusion. But I don’t want to have that argument here. In fact, I’m going to take you at your word. You’re saddened by the death of a black child. That’s all. And I believe you. And it’s because I believe you that I think you will be very interested in what I have to tell you:

Judge To Mull If Airlines Owe WTC Owners Over 9/11

A judge who has presided over most of the litigation stemming from the Sept. 11 attacks will decide whether the owners of the World Trade Center can try to make aviation companies pay billions of dollars in damages.

U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein said he will announce his decision immediately after hearing several witnesses and listening to arguments in a nonjury trial starting Monday and expected to last three days.

The trial will decide whether World Trade Center Properties and its affiliates can receive more than the $4.9 billion in insurance proceeds they have already recovered since the 9/11 attacks by terrorists who hijacked commercial airliners and flew them into the 110-story twin towers. The attacks led to the destruction of the towers as well as a third trade center building.
