The roof on the shopping center where Big Lots is located is having issues at the other end of the shopping center where the old furniture store used to be.
One of the interior walls that divided the furniture store and the shop next door has collapsed from the stress on the roof.
Firefighters are concerned that the windows might blow out of the building under pressure. I hear WBOC is on the scene, (Idiots). We held off this story for the past hour because we wanted confirmation. We had been told earlier that Big Lots had some problems and it turned out that just wasn't true.
Interesting how there was issues at the other end of the shopping center. Oh well, that's what's going on in the Fruitland area.

The roof on the Big Lots in Seaford did indeed collapse this morning according to WBOC.
But not the one in Fruitland like I had been told.
Actually it was the Big Lots up here in Milford that collapsed.
Joe after you posted this maybe an hour they called Station 3 to this shopping center for a collapsed roof. I dont know if anyone else heard it but they said it was next to apple drug.
Joe to start with Thank's for all your help at the fruitland fire company the other night...and it was the north/west rear corner, possible 20/10 area..at this time the hole building is is condemned. until the building inspector looks at it....which means no one is allowed in biglots apple drug or the funiture store....
