Former Democratic President’s Sexual Assault Victims Come Forward, Liberals Go Silent

The crazy liberals are at it again. As you may have read, on the day after Trump’s inauguration, liberals are planning a Woman’s March against the new president. The purpose of this march is to imply that president-elect Trump is a sexist. However Bill Clinton’s sexual assault survivors see the matter in a very different way.

In fact, in an interview with Breitbart, Juanita Broaddrick stated, “I am a survivor of sexual assault. I am one of the people you are supposedly marching for. I was raped by Bill Clinton. Did you hear me? I am one of many that Bill Clinton assaulted. Where were you ladies when I was hurting and scared? This past year, I once again told about my horrific encounter with Bill Clinton.”

Broaddrick continued, “Where were you? You were silent because of your support for Hillary Clinton. Shame on you; all of you. I can finally move forward because your candidate, Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton, my abuser, no longer matter.”

Trump Gives One Word Answer For His Priority As Commander-in-Chief

In a long-ranging, and now well-publicized, interview with U.K.-based Sunday Times, President-elect Donald Trump said the EU should shoulder more of NATO’s economic burden, dinged German immigration policy, and told reporters his singular “priority” as commander-and-chief boiled down to one word: “ISIS.”

“How are you going to deal with ISIS?” they asked.

Trump demurred, saying he didn’t want to detail his intentions to the entire world, ISIS included. Trump has indicated in the past he will pursue some sort of deal with Russia to attack the group inside Syria.

Trump also gave a scathing rebuke of President Barack Obama’s handling of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East throughout the interview. He attacked Obama’s handling of Afghanistan, Syria, and particularly focused on the ongoing Iraqi operation to retake the city of Mosul.

John Kerry's Return to Vietnam

He ends his political career as he began it: wrong about everything.

With mere days remaining in office, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry returned to Southeast Asia to reminisce with his Communist friends and ideological soulmates in Vietnam.

He was welcomed with open arms in Vietnam, still a Communist dictatorship after all these decades. And why shouldn’t he be? He’s one of the reasons the United States lost the war there.

Kerry’s vicious lies about the behavior of the U.S. military during the Vietnam War launched a thousand draft-card burning ceremonies.

It’s a wonder he wasn’t awarded the Vietnamese equivalent of America’s Presidential Medal of Freedom for his service to Vietnamese Communism.

Throughout his adult life, Kerry has instinctively sided with America’s enemies. After serving in the Vietnam War, Kerry made a long, profitable career out of bashing America, insulting and belittling U.S. troops – even going as far as promoting false stories about them committing war atrocities, and aiding hostile foreign powers.

John Kerry to skip Trump inauguration

Secretary of State John Kerry won't be attending President-elect Trump's inauguration on Friday, according to the State Department.

"The secretary will not attend the inauguration," a State Department official told the Washington Examiner.

The official had no comment on why Kerry wouldn't attend.

Like many other Cabinet and senior-level Obama administration officials, Kerry has been working with the incoming Trump team to ensure a smooth transition to a new government, even if he isn't a supporter of Trump's agenda.

Two Charged In Caroline Co. Armed Robbery

(FEDERALSBURG, MD) – Maryland State Police criminal investigators have charged two suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a Caroline County convenience store earlier this month after they were arrested for similar crimes in Delaware.

The suspects are identified as Kurtis L. Jenkins, 28, of Seaford, Delaware and Tyler J. Micheliche, 26, of Federalsburg, MD. Both are charged on warrants with two counts each of armed robbery, first degree assault, second degree assault and reckless endangerment. Maryland State Police have filed detainers on both suspects with Delaware, where they are currently being held after being arrested by State Police there on January 15, 2017.

On January 9, 2017, shortly after 9:30 p.m., Maryland State Police were called to respond to a reported armed robbery at a convenience store in the 3800-block of Smithville Road, Federalsburg, Md. Responding troopers and sheriff’s deputies learned two suspects, both who were reportedly wearing masks and armed with handguns, entered and robbed the store of cash from the register. The clerk was not injured in the incident.

Dem Rep Waters on Trump: 'I Don't Honor Him, I Don't Respect Him'

In an appearance on MSNBC on Tuesday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) took aim at President-elect Donald Trump again and added that it was never her intention to attend Friday’s inaugural ceremonies.

When asked by host Tamron Hall about her decision, Waters said it predated the intelligence briefing from FBI director James Comey about possible Russian hacking and Trump’s criticism of Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) after Lewis called Trump an “illegitimate president.”

“Well let me just tell you, after I discovered who Trump is in the way he conducted himself, I was never going to go to the inauguration,” Waters said. “I never planned. I never contemplated even going near any of those activities or those events. I don’t like the way he has, you know, misled people, the way he has lied. I don’t like the way he’s disparaged folks. I don’t like the way he mocked and mimicked a disabled man. I don’t like the way he talked about women and grabbing their private parts. And so there is nothing about him that I would want to be involved with. And certainly the inauguration is a way of welcoming someone into the presidency, honoring them and respecting them.”

“I don’t honor him, I don’t respect him,” she added. “And I don’t want to be involved with him.”

Giant Panda Bao Bao Says Goodbye to the U.S

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– The National Zoo said Wednesday, Bao Bao, the zoo’s giant female panda, is preparing for her departure to China.

Bao Bao was born at the zoo on Aug. 23, 2014, and the first cub to survive birth since 2005 at the time.

“As part of the Zoo’s cooperative long-term breeding agreement with the China Wildlife Conservation Association, all cubs born at the Zoo move to China by the time they turn 4 years old,” the zoo said in a statement.

China owns all giant pandas in U.S. zoos and requires that cubs born here be sent “home” about the time they reach breeding age.

Peter Schweizer: Clinton Global Initiative Folded Because They Can No Longer ‘Sell Access to Political Power’

Clinton Cash author and Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer joined SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Tuesday’sBreitbart News Daily for what Marlow described as a “victory lap” over the demise of the Clinton Global Initiative, whose questionable activities featured so prominently in Schweizer’s book.

Marlow saluted the work done by Schweizer and his Government Accountability Institute as “some of the most essential reporting of the 2016 election,” and said they collected a “major scalp” this week with the end of the CGI.

“Thank you, Alex. Certainly Breitbart was right there. I cannot imagine how many stories—it’s got to be north of a hundred stories on Clinton corruption—played an essential role,” Schweizer said.

Unions bankrolling DeVos opposition

Three of the groups challenging the reform agenda of President-elect Donald Trump and his education secretary nominee Betsy DeVos received more than $2.6 million from teachers unions and their allies, according to federal labor filings.

DeVos, a pioneer in the school choice and charter school movements over the last two decades, has received vocal opposition from Democrats and some of the country’s most powerful unions. The National Education Association, American Federation of Teachers, and AFL-CIO, which serves as an umbrella group for dozens of unions including the AFT, have all called on the Senate to reject the nomination.

Frosh Among 6 State AGs Urging Rejection Of Sessions For AG

NEW YORK (AP) — Attorneys generals from six states, including Maryland’s Brian Frosh, have sent a letter urging the Senate Judiciary Committee to reject the nomination of Sen. Jeff Sessions for attorney general.

In the letter dated Jan. 17, the prosecutors said they had “grave concern” that Session would “diligently and fairly enforce all laws protective of civil rights, public safety, health and welfare.”

The letter said Sessions made bigoted statements in the past, rejected sensible, criminal justice policy reforms, and badly managed his office during his tenure as Alabama Attorney General.

PITTSVILLE WOMAN FOUND GUILTY OF 2nd DEGREE MURDER AND RELATED CHARGES

Excerpt – ‘How Trump Won’: Pandemonium in New Mexico

It’s an amazing spectacle that never quite seems to wear thin. And it seems, as we walk toward the hangar, that there is something indomitable about that airplane. The Republican nominee for president has a private plane, and he knows how to use it. The lights, the music, the choreography of landing and coming to rest in front of the hangar—it’s almost comical in its stylized heroism.

One wants very much not to be taken in by it. And yet it is arresting, impressive, even moving.

While the plane slows on the runway, I talk to people in the crowd. There are a larger than usual number of Hispanic Trump supporters here, reflecting the demography of the state. One tells me that Trump was not her first choice; she didn’t even like him when he was on The Apprentice. She sees herself as more conservative than Trump.

And yet, challenged by her liberal friends to defend him, she refused to back down. And she has “stuck with it” ever since.

Inside the hangar, the noise is deafening as the jet appears, the word “TRUMP” emblazoned in white near the nose. When the candidate does not appear right away, the crowd chants, “We want Trump!”

County’s Tweaked Route 50 Design Guidelines Seek To Spark Franchise Commercial Development

SNOW HILL – Changes to the county’s design guidelines and corridor plan are expected to increase development along Route 50 outside Berlin.

On Tuesday, the Worcester County Commissioners approved revisions to both the Design Guidelines and Standards for Commercial Uses and U.S. Route 50 Transportation Corridor Plan. The changes came after months of work by a task force charged with reviewing the documents and suggesting changes to encourage development.

“I think this is a win-win for the county,” Commissioner Bud Church said. “I think it opens opportunities for businesses to come in that were prohibited before.”

The changes, presented by Phyllis Wimbrow, the county’s deputy director of development review and permitting, ranged from alterations to setback requirements to the removal of language prohibiting franchise architecture. Wimbrow explained that franchise architecture, building design synonymous with a particular brand, was almost as important as signage for some businesses.

Abortions in US drop to lowest level since 1974

Even as the election outcome intensifies America’s abortion debate, a comprehensive new survey finds the annual number of abortions in the U.S has dropped to well under 1 million, the lowest level since 1974.

The report, which counted 926,200 abortions in 2014, was released Tuesday by the Guttmacher Institute, a research group which supports abortion "rights." It is the only entity which strives to count all abortions in the U.S.; the latest federal survey by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lacks data from California, Maryland and New Hampshire.

The total from 2014 represented a drop of 12.5 percent from Guttmacher’s previous survey, which tallied 1.06 million abortions in 2011. The decrease was spread nationwide; in only six states did abortions increase over the three-year span.

Bill Would Let Women Sue Doctors Who Perform Their Abortions

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow a woman who gets an abortion to sue the doctor who performed the procedure if she experiences emotional distress later. If approved, it would be the first law of its kind in the U.S.The proposal, which was endorsed Tuesday by a GOP-led three-member panel of lawmakers, would permit the woman to file a lawsuit at any point in her life, something that goes against typical statute of limitation rules. It could also make the state vulnerable to costly court challenges.”What we’re asking for is that individuals, doctors and clinics that make money off of women by giving them abortions are simply held accountable,” said Sen. Mark Chelgren, the Republican who introduced the bill. “That’s all this does. It protects women from people who would normally be trying to sell them something in a time when they are under the most stress that is kind of imaginable.”The bill goes next to another committee. It’s unclear how much GOP support the idea has in the Iowa Legislature, though the state’s incoming Republican governor did not dismiss it.

Regardless of whether the proposal advances to the full Legislature, it highlights how much abortion will dominate Iowa politics this year. The governor has already proposed a plan to end state funding for Planned Parenthood by passing up millions of federal Medicaid dollars. Instead, he would tap into a fund that currently helps at-risk youth stay out of the welfare and juvenile justice systems.

Guide to Black Bloc Terrorists Who Want to Shut Down Trump Inauguration

With the inauguration of Donald Trump just days away, droves of his supporters are preparing to meet in Washington D.C. to welcome the new President. But there are also darker forces assembling; a gathering of at least 75 anarchist, socialist and communist groups preparing for an event called #DisruptJ20 that has officially called for violent Black Bloc protesters to gather at 10:00 am on Friday, January 20th in Washington D.C. at the Logan Circle and the Francis Scott Key Memorial.

The group’s call-to-arms is blunt:

Wear all black | January 20th, 10 AM | Logan Circle, DC We are calling for a mobile bloc opposing capitalism and fascism at the inauguration. Meet at Logan Circle at 10 am. Organize with your friends and come prepared to defend each other and everyone else who is standing up to the Trump regime.

However, despite the plain call for the Black Bloc to assemble, very few of the patriotic Americans who support Donald Trump have any real idea what exactly the Black Bloc is, what they represent or how to to deal with the their planned criminal behavior.

As part of our ongoing coverage of both the Trump inauguration and our founder Andrew Breitbart’s mission to expose the leftists that hate this country and its values, we’re going to explain who the Black Bloc is in their own damning words, as well as giving inaugural attendees some idea of what to expect from them.

Heated Debate Held Over Howard's Sanctuary County Bill

A big crowd turned out Tuesday for a discussion about legislation that would stop local police from checking someone's immigration status without cause in Howard County.

A sea of red shirts displayed by those opposed to the sanctuary bill filled the Howard County Council.

“Why do we have to find common ground?” resident Dave Dobbs asked. “The law says you're not supposed to be in America illegally."

A Viewer Writes: Unanswered Question

Here's one that I can't find an answer to:

When an outgoing president leaves the White House, does he take the bedding with him, as in sheets, pillows, etc,, as well as mattresses and box springs of the bed? Or the whole bed and all of the stuff?

Frankly, I think it should be auctioned or part of a lottery for American bidders. After all, it's the property of the people, and who wouldn't want a set of sheets that the prez and his wife slept on?

Liberal groups accused of hypocrisy over call for recusals

Liberal groups are calling on senators who got contributions from President-elect Donald Trump's education secretary pick to recuse themselves from voting on her confirmation – drawing accusations of hypocrisy from Republicans who note Democrats never recused themselves in similar situations.

In a letter to 21 Republican senators, to whom nominee Betsy DeVos has given almost $1 million in campaign donations, Generation Progress and other left-wing groups called for them to recuse themselves “or risk imperiling the legitimacy of DeVos’ confirmation.”

DeVos, a strong advocate for school choice, has her Senate confirmation hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

“In addition to these individual campaign contributions, DeVos and her family contributed $2.25 million during the fall campaign to the Senate Leadership Fund, and have also given $900,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee. That comes out to a $4 million bid to influence you,” the letter says. Generation Progress is an arm of the Center for American Progress.

But Republicans are pushing back, arguing that previous Obama Cabinet picks had donated to Democratic politicians and causes, and Democrats cast confirmation votes anyway.

On Tuesday, Trump lashed out at Lewis for also skipping former President George W. Bush's first inauguration, stretching their feud into its fifth day.

The Last Days of the Obama White House

The media loves to compare the "thin-skinned" Donald Trump with the cool, insouciant Barack Obama who never lets anything rattle him.

But is that really true? You be the judge.

While Obama has been smiling through a so-called "victory lap" with "60 Minutes," The New York Times and other liberal outlets, we've been talking to a source who portrays a far different picture — an angry, deeply hurt, and depressed Obama, who can't get over his party's defeat at the polls, which he takes as a personal rebuke by the American public.

This source has visited the Obama White House on numerous occasions over the past eight years. He's slept in the Lincoln Bedroom, dined with the Obama family in the Residence, and received regular updates on the psychological temperature in the Oval Office.

"The only thing that makes them feel better are plans to stop Trump from getting things done. From what Valerie says, that is going to be Barack's main job going forward — leading the resistance to Trump.

Look Who Obama Wrote A 500 Million Dollar Check To In His Final Week… It’s NUTS

With only 2 days left under the Obama Administration, the U.S. State Department cut a $500 Million check to the United Nations’ Green Climate Fund.

This check was written Tuesday under Obama’s promise to contribute a total of $3 Billion to the fund—and as of now, a third of that promise has been fulfilled.

The action was a controversial one, following comments on the campaign trail by President-Elect Trump that “we’re going to cancel the Paris Climate Agreement and stop all payments of U.S. tax dollars to U.N. global warming programs” (via WaPo).

Political Correctness: A Tool of Liberal Coercion

It is naïve to think that political correctness is simply a matter of being scolded for saying something unacceptable to liberals. It has become much more than that. Political correctness is a deliberate tool used by the Left to intimidate conservatives and people of faith into silence, with the goal of making our classic and time-tested opinions illegitimate.

Political Correctness is a strategy, a weapon of social warfare, a bullying against those unwilling to reshape and renounce their traditional belief system and bow to the dictates of the leftaucracy dead-set on total domination of our lives and culture. It enforces censorship and activates demonization, threatening those unwilling to submit and apologize with loss of job, livelihood, social acceptability, company sales, friends, reputation and status.

It is the liberal version of Islamic blasphemy laws, ruthlessly excising anyone who questions or strays from the left-wing cultural and social dogmas. It is the most un-American development in our lifetime.

Clinton Global Initiative to shut down as donations dry up

‘You see foreign governments who had pledged tens-of-millions of dollars pulling their donations’

The Clinton Global Initiative has terminated 22 employees and will soon become another casualty of the 2016 election season.

CGI, which opened in 2005, will officially close April 15, 2017. Paperwork filed with the New York Department of Labor Jan. 12 confirmed the “discontinuation,” along with the termination of 22 employees. The Jan. 12 filing makes permanent plans issued Aug. 22 by former President Bill Clinton as the family attempted to extricate itself from any conflicts of interest.

A spokesperson for the Clinton Foundation declined to comment on the record with Fox News when contacted Monday about the WARN notice [The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act].

“This [group] wasn’t just for charitable ends,” Brian Morgenstern, vice president for the Manhattan Republican Party, told the network. “As the initiative is closing its doors, you see foreign governments who had pledged tens-of-millions of dollars pulling their donations now that Hillary Clinton will not be the president. That shows a lot of people that this was more than just a charity. This was a way for the Clintons to network and really peddle influence due to their positions in leadership.”

Former Black Panther: ‘Illegitimate Congressman’ John Lewis ‘Presided Over Destruction Of Black People’

Black Panther-turned conservative author and activist Mason Weaver says after taking a beating for civil rights, Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) joined his “oppressors” in the Democratic Party and has since assisted in the “destruction of black America.”

“He was fighting Democrats. And after they beat his behind on the [Edmund Pettus Bridge in 1965] and ran over him and stomped him in the ground, he got up and turned and joined,” Weaver said Monday on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

“He joined the oppressors and became a stooge for them,” Weaver said of Lewis, who is “now sitting and presiding over the destruction of the black community; the destruction of black men; the destruction of black women, with drugs and gangs.”

“He more concerned about Trump being the illegitimate President,” Weaver said, “but John Lewis is the illegitimate Congressman.”

Weaver challenged Rep. Lewis to “apologize” to the American people for joining the Democratic “party of abuse,” which has “always been the party of the Klan; the party that went to war to keep slaves; the party that’s always been the destruction of black people.”

Anonymous Goes LIVE: ‘The Take Down of George Soros Has Begun’

President-elect Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton has shocked the world and has turned the tables on many corrupt global power-players, including George Soros.

The hacker group Anonymous has turned its sights on the Democrat-supporting billionaire and are looking to bring him down for his corruption.

As Trump is moving forward with his transition team, protesters, who are funded by Soros, are trying to rise up against him. People are rioting in the streets, blocking highways, and destroying buildings, causing unrest in this country because they get a paycheck to do so.

It’s also no secret that Soros was heavily invested in Hillary Clinton’s campaign for presidency, and many believed that if she were elected, Soros would have held her puppet strings and therefore have control of the United States.

With the election of Donald Trump and the Brexit vote in the United Kingdom, a global pattern is showing itself, according to Anonymous. And this pattern is that globalist agendas and George Soros are going to be taken down once and for all.

Rand Paul: 'We're Going to Legalize the Sale of Inexpensive Insurance'

(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) insists that Obamacare replacement should happen at the same time as repeal, and he's produced a replacement bill that will "give access to the most amount of people at the least amount of cost."

He said there will be no government mandate telling people they must have insurance or pay a penalty:

"So, one of the key reforms that we will do is, we're going to legalize the sale of inexpensive insurance. That means getting rid of the Obamacare mandates on what you can buy," Paul told CNN's "State of the Union."

"We are going to help people save through health savings accounts, as well as a tax credit," Paul continued. "And then one of the things that we need to talk more about -- and this is the third part of the replacement bill -- is, we're going to allow individuals to come together in associations to buy insurance."

Paul, an ophthalmologist, said he once employed four people at his doctor's office. "If one of my employees got cancer, it was devastating to the bottom line, not only to them, obviously, but to the bottom line of insurance.

"But there's no reason why someone with four employees shouldn't be able to join with hundreds and hundreds of other businesses that are small to become a large entity to get leverage to bring your prices down, but also to get insurance that can't cancel you and guarantees the issue of the insurance even if you get sick."

Paul said Obamacare failed because there were too many government mandates, which made it too expensive.

Abolish The CIA

Every American who looks at the CIA objectively or in a balanced way and judges it by any number of criteria, such as moral, legal and pragmatic, should reach the conclusion that the CIA should be abolished. JFK wanted to break it into a million pieces. Trump is right to dismiss its intelligence reports about DNC hacking. The CIA war on Trump shows us immediately that the CIA is a rogue organization within the U.S. government and a severe threat to America.

The CIA is an internal threat to the rule of law and to the government that it supposedly serves. Senator Schumer acknowledges the CIA’s unbridled power, its subversive power, its power to undermine even a president, especially one that wishes to control or alter the organization, when he says:

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you. For a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”

Schumer is saying that the CIA is so powerful that a president should not attempt to control it or else! The CIA is so powerful that elections do not matter when it comes to the CIA. The CIA stands alone. The Constitution that empowers the president as the Executive, the boss of government operations, does not matter. Basic American institutions and laws must bow before the threats that the CIA possesses. This is the assessment of a Senator beginning his 4th term and who is the highest ranking Democrat in the Senate in his post as minority leader.

The CIA is an organization that perpetually undermines traditional American values and moral values. It consistently kills innocent people. It continually causes instability and wars. It undermines other societies and our own. It interferes constantly in foreign nations, to the detriment of them and us. It is an unelected power that challenges elected officials. It favors abuses of power, including torture. Its actual value at generating usable intelligence is minimal, often wrong, often misleading, inaccurate and harmful as in the WMD that were never found in Iraq.

Rental Company Charged In Last Summer’s Fatal Boating Accident

OCEAN CITY — A downtown watersports rental company, along with its owner, has been charged by Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) with multiple counts related to a fatality last summer including negligence.

Following an investigation into the tragic incident in August when a nine-year-old boy fell from the bow of a rented pontoon boat near the Inlet in Ocean City and was fatally struck by the vessel’s propeller, Maryland NRP officials last week applied for charges in Worcester County District Court against OC Watersports LLC and owner Tyler Barnes, who operates the watercraft rental operation near the base of the Route 50 Bridge at Talbot Street. The NRP’s application for charges was reviewed by a Worcester County court commissioner, who determined probable cause existed for five charges.

As a result, Barnes and OC Watersports LLC have now been charged with five counts related to the fatal pontoon accident in August including improper equipment on a rental vessel, failure to keep records, negligent operation of a vessel, the latter because it is considered negligent operation for a boat rental company to allow an overloaded vessel to leave the dock.

Turkey Catches ISIS Istanbul Shooter, Beats Him To A Pulp

The ISIS attacker responsible for a mass shooting at an Istanbul nightclub New Year’s day was caught in the city’s Esenyurt district Tuesday, according to Turkish media reports, and appears to have paid a price for his crimes already.

The unnamed suspect appears to have been beaten severely by Turkish special police forces. Pictures of the captured suspect show him with severe bruises and cuts, and a shirt covered in blood. Other pictures show another man face-down on the ground, hands cuffed behind his back with a Turkish officer’s foot on his head. Police also reportedly detained three women.

Paul Ryan Picks Fight with Donald Trump Over Big Pharma Corruption: ‘I Don’t Speak Like That, Generally Speaking’

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, failed one-time GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan, is picking a fight with incoming President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence over the Trump administration’s vow to tackle corruption in Big Pharma.

Trump promised during his press conference in New York City at Trump Tower last week to reform the pharmaceutical industry to ensure proper bidding procedures take place—among other reforms to the major industry—moving forward.

“We have to get our drug industry coming back,” Trump said at the press conference. “Our drug industry has been disastrous. They’re leaving left and right. They supply our drugs but they don’t make them here, to a large extent. And the other thing we have to do is create new bidding procedures for the drug industry, because they’re getting away with murder. Pharma has a lot of lobbies, a lot of lobbyists, a lot of power. And there’s very little bidding on drugs. We’re the largest buyer of drugs in the world, and yet we don’t bid properly. We’re going to start bidding. We’re going to save billions of dollars over a period of time.”

Index finds Obama has made life WORSE for young people

Millennials who have just completed college believe that they are worse off now than they were before Barack Obama entered the White House, a new poll found on Tuesday.

Young America's Foundation said that its annual Youth Misery Index found that millennials are saddled with more debt and have less job opportunities than they did eight years ago.

'Over the course of Obama's presidency, the YMI has spiked an alarming 29.9 points, an increase of 36 percent,' the group said.

'Young Americans, a generation that provided critical support to the President in 2008 and 2012, have slogged through the last eight years, and will be chained to its impact on their futures for years to come,' it continued.

'The youth unemployment rate is almost 15 percent and the average student in the class of 2016 graduated with a record $37,000 in student loan debt.'

Pro-life feminist group kicked out of anti-Trump Women’s March

A group of feminists has been removed as a sponsor of the Women’s March on Washington because it does not support abortion rights.

The march said on Monday it had severed ties with New Wave Feminists, a pro-life group that was previously listed as a sponsor of the demonstration protesting the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

“The Women’s March platform is pro-choice and that has been our stance from day one,” the march said in a statement. “We want to assure all of our partners, as well as participants, that we are pro-choice as clearly stated in our Unity Principles. We look forward to marching on behalf of individuals who share the view that women deserve the right to make their own reproductive decisions.”

“The anti-choice organization in question is not a partner of the Women’s March on Washington,” the statement continued. “We apologize for this error.”

A spokesperson for New Wave Feminists said the group still plans to attend the Jan. 21 march.

“It appears that the [Women’s March on Washington] only wants to include a ‘diverse’ array of women who think exactly like them,” Destiny Herndon-De La Rosa told LifeSiteNews.

'Queer Dance Party' in front of Mike Pence's house last night

A few hundred people gathered outside Vice President-elect Mike Pence's temporary house in Chevy Chase, Md., on Wednesday evening for a "Queer Dance Party," as it was deemed by organizers.

Groups WERK for Peace and DisruptJ20 created the event to say "homophobia and transphobia is wrong and should be resisted," according to Firas Nasr, founder of the first group.

Initially a group of a dozen people met at the Friendship Heights Metro Station, which is located on the border of Washington, D.C., and Maryland. The demonstrators then marched down Western Avenue to Tennyson Street NW, toward Pence's house. The incoming vice president will be moved into his United States Naval Observatory residence later this week.

WSJ/NBC News Poll: Half of Americans Believe Russia Hacked Election, Few Think It Mattered

Half of Americans think the Russian government interfered with the 2016 election by hacking into Democratic Party computers, though a much smaller number believe it affected the outcome of the race, a new poll shows.

The Wall Street Journal/NBC News survey released Tuesday showed 51 percent of respondents said they believe Russia meddled in the election through hacking, while 36 percent disagreed.

Only 26 percent said they thought President-elect Donald Trump would've lost if the hacking hadn't occurred, while 63 percent said they weren't sure, the poll found.

Outrage Mounts After Obama Frees 'Traitor' Chelsea Manning

President Barack Obama commuted the prison sentence of Chelsea Manning on Tuesday, allowing the Army intelligence officer who leaked scores of classified documents to go free nearly three decades early.

Manning, who will leave prison in May, was one of 209 inmates whose sentences Obama was shortening, a list that includes Puerto Rican nationalist Oscar Lopez-Rivera. Obama also pardoned 64 people, including retired Gen. James Cartwright, who was charged with making false statements during a probe into disclosure of classified information.

"These 273 individuals learned that our nation is a forgiving nation," said White House counsel Neil Eggleston, "where hard work and a commitment to rehabilitation can lead to a second chance, and where wrongs from the past will not deprive an individual of the opportunity to move forward."

The actions are permanent, and can't be undone by President-elect Donald Trump. White House officials said Obama would grant clemency to more individuals on Thursday — his final day in office — but that batch was not expected to include prominent individuals like Manning.

A former Army intelligence analyst, Manning has been serving a 35-year sentence for leaking more than 700,000 classified government and military documents to WikiLeaks, along with some battlefield video. She was convicted in military court in 2013 of six violations of the Espionage Act and 14 other offenses and has spent more than six years behind bars. She asked Obama last November to commute her sentence to time served.

“FREE AT LAST?”

Like other media outlets, this website has been observing Martin Luther King, Jr. day for many years – long enough to see major changes in the status of race relations in the United States. Unfortunately, those changes have only moved America backward – no matter the color of your skin.

Last year we chose to address MLK day from a purely economic perspective – assessing whether the nation’s first black president, Barack Obama, had fulfilled the hopes and dreams of those black voters who monolithically elected him, reelected him and unswervingly still support him today.

He has not. Based on the overwhelming economic evidence cited in our column, it is abundantly clear blacks are less prosperous today than they were when Obama took office – i.e. further away from the true “promissory note of freedom” King spoke of in his most famous oration.

Obama brought the hope, he just didn’t bring the change – and after eight years in office he has no one else to blame for his failure (especially given the extent to which he took power into his own hands to press various radical agendas).

And what of black “freedom?” As we noted on King Day four years ago, the federal government’s ongoing Orwellian assault on American liberty has not discriminated on the basis of race.

“The freedoms King fought so courageously to obtain for black Americans are currently being eroded for all Americans,” we noted as the U.S. spy state cast its increasingly lengthy, ominous shadow over individual liberty.

Similarly, Americans of all races have seen their blood and treasure drained on multiple, costly foreign interventions – none of which have made any of us any safer. Obama’s fact-challenged saber-rattling against Russia is just the latest foreign policy disaster, one final attempt to needlessly escalate global tensions in the name of the military-industrial complex (a.k.a. more government).

New York Times Staff Braces For Round Of Layoffs, Budget Cuts

The New York Times is preparing for a round of layoffs and budget cuts aimed at helping the paper remain competitive in an ever-more cutthroat media environment.

A team of seven journalists released a report of their recommendations to the paper Tuesday, after spending a year reviewing TheNYT newsroom and practices in accordance with a directive from executive editor Dean Baquet. The anticipated assessment — known internally as the “2020 report” — recommends a series of broad changes that include hiring more diverse journalists so the paper better reflects the audience it wants to attract.

The transformation laid out in the report will require budget cuts and layoffs, Baquet and his managing editor Joe Khan said in TheNYT Tuesday. “We view this moment as a necessary repositioning of The Times newsroom, not as a diminshment,” they said, adding that the cuts will lead to a “smaller and more focused” newsroom.

“The world is changing really rapidly,” NYT columnist David Leonhardt said in an interview with the paper. “We have to keep up, and even get ahead of it.”
