TWO VIDEOS THAT PROVE THE FBI IS LYING ABOUT THE VEGAS MASSACRE

Alteration of event timeline brings entire narrative into question

The official story surrounding the Las Vegas mass shooting is crumbling.

After Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo dramatically altered the shooting timeline Monday, indicating a security guard was shot by alleged gunman Stephen Paddock before his assault on country music concertgoers, the entire narrative has been thrown into question.

Watch these two videos for a recap of various inconsistencies that don’t add up.

Below: Excerpts from the different press conferences held by LVPD and FBI show that their official story has more holes that Swiss cheese.

Conservative Leaders Urge Mitch McConnell to Resign

The Tea Party Patriots, FreedomWorks, and the Senate Conservatives Fund called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and the rest of Senate leadership to resign over their inability to pass President Donald Trump’s agenda, which includes repealing and replacing Obamacare, confirming federal judges, and funding a southern border wall.

The grassroots conservative leaders chastised the members of Senate leadership, which includes Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), Sen. John Thune (R-SD), and Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY). The conservatives argued that the Senate leadership should resign to make way for more effective lawmakers who will enact the president’s populist agenda.

Bozell: Hollywood Calls for Gun Control, Yet Features Gun Violence 212 Times in Four of Its Top Movies

“Hollywood’s hypocrisy about Harvey Weinstein is only outdone by its hypocrisy about gun control,” Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell declared Thursday in response to findings of a new MRC study on movie gun violence.

Hollywood is calling for more gun control – but, features copious gun violence, including 100 uses of automatic weapons, in four of its most profitable movies in theaters today, Bozell explained:

“You just knew the Hollywood celebrity crowd would jump all over that issue in the wake of the Las Vegas massacre. Yet in just four of the biggest movies showing around the country at this very moment – Kingsman: Golden Circle, American Assassin, It, and Mother! – there are no less than 212 incidents of gun violence.

"In just these four movies the body count is at least 192, and in over 100 gun violence incidents some kind of automatic weapon is employed.

“But they want gun control.

Gentrification, job requirements hurt African-Americans in DC

WASHINGTON — Many African-Americans in the nation’s capital are being left out of job sectors that are forecast to grow in coming years, according to a new Georgetown University study.

The report, “The State of African Americans in DC: Trends in Employment & Workforce Development,” concludes that for many black people in D.C., new jobs are increasingly out of reach.

While more than half of all new jobs in D.C. between 2010 and 2020 required or will require at least a bachelor’s degree, only 12.3 percent of D.C.’s African American population in 2014 were college graduates.

“They’re mainly professional services, jobs in education and health services, leisure and hospitality, financial activity, and many of these require an advanced degree,” said Maurice Jackson, history professor at Georgetown University. “Twenty years ago or 30 years ago, they may have just required a high school degree.”

Tomi Lahren on the Weinstein Scandal: Hollywood Liberals Are Anti-Trump, Not Pro-Woman

In her newest Final Thoughts commentary, Tomi Lahren sounds off on the reaction by Hillary Clinton and others on the left to the Harvey Weinstein scandal.

It's time for Final Thoughts and I'm not done with Harvey Weinstein - not yet.

More than two dozen women claim sexual harassment or assault and three say he raped them. So why did it take Hillary Clinton five days to make a statement? And why hasn't she given his money back? Well, she's now saying there's no one to give it back to, so she'll donate it to charity. It took you long enough.

And what about the Obamas? Michelle, you've been pretty vocal about your disdain for powerful white men lately but not so vocal about Weinstein. Is it because he's a Democrat? A donor? An ally of your husband? Hired your daughter for an internship last February?

Trump Says NFL Should Have SUSPENDED Kaepernick- ‘They Forgot How Patriotic We Are, Now They’ll Remember’

Trump lays down what the NFL should have done with Colin Kaepernick when he was still with the San Francisco 49ers: Suspensions, suspensions, suspensions.

Speaking with Sean Hannity on Fox News, he said that Kapernick’s protest was “terrible” and that the only reason it blew up was due to the NFL’s inaction.

Speaking on Fox, Trump said that when he saw what Kaepernick was doing, that “frankly, the NFL should have suspended [Kaepernick] for one game, and then he never would have [kneeled during the anthem] again.” He said that if that didn’t work, they could have suspended him for two games. If he did it a third time, then he should have been suspended for the entire season. As he recounts this to Hannity, the crowd goes wild, before he says that “You can’t disrespect our country, our flag, our anthem, you can not do that.”

Numbers Are In! Americans Support Gun Rights Over Gun Control Following Vegas Attack!

According to a new poll, the number of American voters who are in favor of the Second Amendment is still higher than the number of voters who support gun control.

With the Las Vegas Massacre still in the news, people who want to turn Stephen Paddock’s firearms collection into a political football in order to score points and further restrict guns. With this new poll, lawmakers who want to be re-elected might want to step back and rethink their position.

The poll was released by Politico/ Morning Consult and discovered that while 42% of voters questioned wanted gun control, 47% are in favor of gun rights. Democratic voters were the major source of support for “new gun laws,” with 83% of party supporters wanting stricter laws regulating guns with only 12% of that group who were against stricter gun laws. Among Independents, 58% were in favor of stricter gun control laws and 33% of them were against stricter gun control laws.

As for the Republicans, 49% want stricter gun control laws while 45% are against new gun control laws. But, 46% of Trump voters want stricter gun control laws while 48% were opposed.

As for people who already own guns, 55% of gun owners would support “new restrictions” and 41% of gun owners would oppose new restrictions.

REPORT: Bill Threw Hillary’s NEW Book In Garbage- Haven’t Been On Speaking Terms For MONTHS!

Can I laugh? I’m going to laugh.

Gossip columnist Ed Klein who has been covering the Clintons and Kennedys for decades has a new book coming out at the end of the month, All Out War: The Plot to Destroy Trump and gives a behind the scenes look at the Clinton camp. Political storytelling is all well and good but it’s nice to hear some insider gossip about the former and God willing never-again First Couple.

Klein says that while Clinton’s What Happened book, that blames everyone except herself for her hilarious election loss to Donald J. Trump, is a bestseller but it didn’t stop her husband Bill from chucking a copy in the trash. A close acquaintance to the Clintons said that Bill told Hillary that “the book made her look bewildered, angry and confused” and that she should not broadcast those qualities, especially since she had just so recently put herself up for the most powerful and important job in the world.

Bill the intern connoisseur also hated the title of the book, saying that the only possible response to a book called What Happened is to say “You lost.” He’s not wrong. He’s wrong about a lot of things: He’s wrong on whether or not it’s morally correct to sexually assault women, but he’s right on the book title. Hillary, apparently, yelled at Bill for his idea to push back the publication date so the book could be rewritten, and she responded that it was “finished and that’s how it’s going to be published.”

ROTTEN TO THE CORE: Hillary Tells America What She’s Doing With Weinstein’s Donations

It took Hillary Clinton five long days to come out with a tepid statement against sexual predator and all around pig, Harvey Weinstein. She didn’t really condemn him and claimed she didn’t know about his extracurricular activities. She’s lying. All of Hollywood knew and being as close as Bill and Hillary were to Weinstein, they had surely heard the rumors. They ignored them because of the money, power and fame associated with Weinstein. She didn’t even release her own statement, she had her spokesperson do it from his Twitter account.

Clinton was asked if she will donate the money Weinstein gave her to charity as other Democrats are doing. Her answer is a sugar coated lie, just as you’d expect. When she answered, she worked at looking offended as she usually does. It was another of her infamous death stares for daring to ask her such a thing. Her campaign received $17,400 from Weinstein, but that was only the icing on this evil cake. She probably received millions in bundling and fundraising connected to Weinstein. And of course, there’s that $250,000 he gave to the Clinton Foundation.

Council of Economic Advisers Chairman: Tax Cuts Could Increase Median Wage By About $4,000

Chairman says tax framework will radically lift wages for workers who haven't seen real increase in the last decade

Kevin Hassett, the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, says a tax cut like the one President Trump is proposing could potentially lift wages by about $4,000.

Hassett spoke at The Hill‘s event on tax reform at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday and said wages have been stagnant for too long and the president's framework for tax reform would help Americans earn higher wages.

"Over the last eight years the average real income growth was only about 0.6 percent per year," Hassett said. "That's just not fast enough. If you have the sense that America's workers aren't keeping up, it's because they haven't been."

Weinstein’s lawyer gave thousands to Vance after DA let client off hook

The lawyer who helped Harvey Weinstein avoid charges for admittedly groping a model in 2015 has donated $26,550 in campaign cash to Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. — including $2,100 after Vance let Weinstein off the hook, The Post has learned.

Weinstein hired high-powered defense lawyer Elkan Abramowitz, a partner at the firm where Vance worked before he became DA, after Ambra Battilana Gutierrez accused him of grabbing her breasts and trying to put his hand up her skirt inside his Tribeca office in March 2015, sources said told The Post on Wednesday.

Ambramowitz led a team of attorneys who met with prosecutors before Vance decided not to pursue a case against Weinstein, even though cops had secretly recorded him apologizing to Gutierrez and promising: “I won’t do it again.”

Trump To Scrap Crucial Obamacare Insurer Subsidy

Just hours after signing an executive order that implicitly begins unwinding ObamaCare, Politco reports, citing two people familiar with the matter, that President Trump plans to cut off critical subsidy payments to insurers selling Obamacare coverage.

Earlier today, Trump signed an executive order expanding access to more loosely regulated insurance options with low premiums, a move that could undermine the ACA insurance markets.

“We’ve been hearing about the disaster of Obamacare for so long,” Trump said in signing the order at a White House ceremony. “For a long time, I’ve been hearing repeal, replace, repeal, replace.”

He then said that the order is "starting that process" to repeal ObamaCare.

It will be the "first steps to providing millions of Americans with ObamaCare relief."

And now, as Politico reports, the process appears to accelerating as Trump's decision to end the payments, estimated at $7 billion this year, marks the president's most aggressive move yet to dismantle Obamacare after months of failed GOP repeal efforts on Capitol Hill.

Rep. Harris: Iran Must Be Held Accountable For Its Actions

WASHINGTON, DC: On Friday, October 13, Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01) issued the following statement in support of President Trump’s Iran strategy:

“I strongly support President Trump’s decision not to recertify the Iran nuclear deal. The Iranian government is a dangerous, authoritarian regime that sponsors terrorist groups and has openly threatened the United States and its allies. The deal made by the Obama Administration – without the consent of the United States Senate – failed to properly hold the Iranian regime accountable. Our nation’s strategy on Iran must be reevaluated, and I am committed to working with the Trump Administration and my colleagues in Congress to find a permanent solution that will keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranian government and the terrorists they sponsor.”

WCSO Press Release

Date of Incident: 11 October 2017
Location: Sharptown, MD

Narrative: On 12 October 2017, the Sheriff’s Office began investigating an incident that reportedly occurred the previous day at approximately 10 AM in Sharptown. The reported incident generated concern among local community members of a possible attempted abduction. At this time, the Sheriff’s Office can not substantiate those concerns. The investigation has only revealed a conversation that included a subject asking two juveniles on Main Street as to why they were not in school and where they were supposed to be. Due to student testing, many students had a delayed arrival and were picked up later in the morning on a second bus run. This information regarding the conversation between this subject was the same information that was relayed to the Sheriff’s Office the previous evening at 6:04 PM when the initial complaint regarding this incident was telephoned into the Sheriff’s Office. At no time was it implied that this individual attempted to either abduct or entice these children into his vehicle.

The deputy investigating this incident also checked the town looking for a vehicle that matched the description provided to no avail.

The investigation included meeting with those who made the original report and as of now, there is no indication that an attempted abduction was planned nor is there information indicated this unknown individual attempted to coax these individuals into his vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office reminds everyone to remain vigilant and to always report suspicious activity to the non-emergency line at 410-548-4890

Oklahoma jury recommends death penalty in beheading case

A jury in Oklahoma decided Thursday to give the death penalty to a man who was convicted for the beheading of a co-worker in the nightmare 2014 incident.

Alton Nolen, 33, was convicted in late September for murdering Colleen Hufford, 54, and also attempting to slaughter another co-worker during a heated dispute that took place inside the Moore food processing plant, Vaughan Foods.

Jurors agreed on Oct. 2 that Nolen should serve three life sentences plus 130 years in prison on assault and battery charges stemming from his attack on the co-worker who survived.

Jurors took less than three hours Thursday to recommend the death penalty on the first-degree murder charge.

Congressional investigators meet 'a lot of resistance' from FBI, DOJ on anti-Trump dossier

The FBI and Justice Department have turned down or ignored every request since March from the House Intelligence Committee seeking information about the controversial anti-Trump dossier, according to a review of congressional records by Fox News.

Records show the committee has made eight such requests, including subpoenas, in that time period.

Congressional investigators have met "a lot of resistance," committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told Fox News.

But the GOP lawmaker seemed to indicate public scrutiny and congressional pressure may spur movement on the issue. "These are crucial questions related to Congress’ oversight responsibilities. ... We hope we’ll soon be on the path to getting the information we need,” he said.

Las Vegas hotel 'didn't immediately report shots'

Federal agents are in a heated battle with MGM resorts after confirming that Mandalay Bay hotel security didn't notify police about a guard being shot by Stephen Paddock until after he opened fire on civilians, despite hotel officials insisting that is not the case.

The federal official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, claimed that Mandalay Bay did not call police until after Stephen Paddock opened fire, despite security guard Jesus Campos calling down to alert them that he'd been shot.

Thursday's confirmation would mean there was a delay of at least six minutes in notifying the police of what turned into the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.

Weekly Fishing Report: Oct. 11, 2017

Recent warm weather has caused Chesapeake Bay and tidal river water temperatures to be rather stagnant this week.

Water temperatures in all three regions of the bay are holding around 73 degrees to 75 degrees and the tidal rivers are running about 3-5 degrees cooler.

It is going to take a prolonged cool front to drive water temperatures down to the upper 60s, which will then cause baitfish to move out of the tidal rivers and into the bay.

Striped bass will be waiting for them and hopefully the fall fishery for Maryland’s state fish will finally kick into gear.

Dr. Harris: President Trump is Increasing Choice and Competition in the Health Insurance

WASHINGTON, DC: On October 12, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to expand access and choice for Americans seeking health insurance, while driving down costs. Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) released the following statement in support of the Executive Order:

“The nightmare of Obamacare has people feeling the pinch across the country. Here in Maryland, the most popular plan premiums have just increased 50% and premiums have almost tripled since the Maryland exchange launched in 2014. The choice of insurers locally has dwindled from seven to just two.

President Trump’s Executive Order today will increase choice and competition for health insurance here in Maryland, thus lowering costs while maintaining key protections for consumers. It will also level the playing field between big and small businesses by allowing small businesses to pool together in Association Health Plans that could be sold across state lines. This reform was long overdue.

As Congress continues to consider the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, this Executive Order’s common sense approach will make significant strides in the effort to end the nightmare of rising premiums and decreasing choice in the Obamacare exchanges.”

Since the 2000 election cycle, Weinstein has donated nearly $1 million in his own name in addition to collecting and providing roughly $1.5 million as a part of "bundled" donations, which the Center for Responsive Politics defines as contributions provided by "people with friends in high places who, after bumping against personal contribution limits, turn to those friends, associates, and, well, anyone who's willing to give, and deliver the checks to the candidate."

After a steelmaker’s deception, steps to restore trust

A maker of vital metal products worldwide, Kobe Steel comes clean on making shoddy materials. Its corrective moves may help reverse a global decline in trust of companies.

The head of Kobe Steel, a giant manufacturer of metal products in Japan, made a rare admission on Oct. 12. After admitting his company had long lied about the quality of its materials, which are used worldwide in products from cars to computer chips, Hiroya Kawasaki added: “Trust in our company has dropped to zero.”

In an era of damaging deceptions by big businesses, his frankness was refreshing – and necessary to quickly figure out which vital metal products, such as airplane parts, need replacing. Many other big companies, such as Volkswagen and Wells Fargo, have recently lied about the quality of their products or services. Mr. Kawasaki was quicker than most corporate chieftains in giving a number for trust in his company..

Evaporation: the overlooked alternative energy source?

So-called evaporation engines could add another stream of renewable power to a diversified energy strategy, researchers say. But the technology has a way to go – and some questions to answer – before it can be deployed.

There may be a new renewable energy source on the distant horizon.

Evaporation, a key process in the hydrological cycle, is an overlooked source of alternative energy that researchers say could be more reliable than solar or wind power. The technology has a long way to go to reach deployable scale – and there are environmental concerns to consider – but, scientists say, evaporation energy could one day be a vital component of a diversified energy strategy.

Researchers at Columbia University in New York estimate that energy derived from evaporation off lakes and reservoirs could, in some states, exceed energy demand. That figure assumes that freshwater bodies could be covered entirely in evaporation engines, which is not likely to happen. But the researchers hope that their calculations will inspire engineers to explore this untapped natural resource, that they say has the potential to bolster energy security while saving water.

“No one previously has provided an estimate as to how powerful evaporation could be,” says Ahmet-Hamdi Cavusoglu, the lead author of a study published last month in the journal Nature Communications that attempts to quantify the evaporation technology’s energy potential. “With our work, we hope we provide added motivation for future research and development on this evolving class of materials.”

Dildo-Waving Feminists SILENCED By Classmate’s Argument That Guns Defend Against Rape

It’s ironic that feminists rail against rape (and rightfully so, even if they do fudge the statistics a little bit) while simultaneously decrying the ownership of guns. What they fail to realize is a lot of rape survivors have armed themselves in case they are victimized again, or their rapist returns.

But progressives want to make it difficult for women like that (and women like myself who want to prevent anything like that from ever happening) to acquire a firearm, and mock those of us who have them by chanting ridiculous slogans like “c*cks not glocks” and waving around sex toys.

When a group of campus feminists decided to rally against firearms, a student decided to school them on exactly why someone might own a gun, and they had no response as a result.

It turns out that the guns they hate are a solution to the problem of women being sexually victimized. Of course, this is something they don’t want to acknowledge, because they don’t have any interest in coming up with solutions to the problems they complain about. No, whining and writing up catchy chants are much more interesting.

After being told that a woman had a friend who was raped and wasn’t allowed to defend herself because she could not carry to weapon on campus, the mindless warts ignored her and began to wave their sex toys around saying “this is what democracy looks like.”

OUTRAGE! Public University FUNDS All Students’ DACA Renewal Application Fees

While many Americans oppose illegal immigration, most Americans conversely support DACA — the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. This allows children who were brought illegally to the United States, through no fault of their own, to receive a two-year deferred action from deportation, and be eligible for work permits. But while this program enjoys widespread support, what one public university just did has people furious.

San Diego State University just announced that it will fund its students’ DACA renewal application fees. The school, which is a public university, is setting aside $130,000 for the application fees, which are $495 per student.

“This is a one time funding allocation not to exceed $130,000 and will be given to the SDSU Economic Crisis Response Team. This could fund up to 262 student DACA renewals which we are told by the University would be sufficient,” D. Hayden Willis, vice president of financial affairs at SDSU, explained in a September memo to the Financial Affairs Committee.

Farmer Takes NFL Anthem Protests Into His Own Hands – Sends Them A Message Trump LOVES!

A farmer in North Dakota just scored major points with President Trump. This farmer has made headlines before for his agriculture art, but this time it’s on a subject near and dear for all Americans. Gene Hanson of Edgeley, North Dakota placed a message in his crops for the National Football League: “We stand for the National Anthem.” I love it! He put the message into his bean crops. It’s in response to “Kneel Gate” and the players who take a knee during the National Anthem.

President Trump shared the Fox News article showcasing the farmer’s efforts on his Facebook page yesterday. “Thank you Gene Hanson — a GREAT American (and farmer) who is standing up for our flag, our anthem, and our country!” Trump wrote. Hanson spoke with Fox News yesterday and made it clear he supports President Trump’s position on players standing for the National Anthem. “I go with Trump on this one,” Hanson said. “If you want to protest, that’s not the place to do it.”

Hero Veteran Who ‘Stole’ Truck At Las Vegas Shooting To Save Lives – Gets Truck Of His Own!

One of the biggest heroes during the Mandalay Massacre was former Marine Taylor Winston, 29. He commandeered a pickup truck to rush the wounded to the hospital. He would drop a load off and go back for more. There was blood all over the vehicle. A dealership in Gilbert, Arizona thought that Winston’s heroic actions deserved recognition and they gifted him a brand new Ford F-150 truck. Taylor said he would sell his current vehicle and all the proceeds would go to help those impacted by the Vegas tragedy. He served two tours of duty… once a hero, always a hero.

Ambulances had not arrived on the scene yet and Taylor knew that his actions could mean the difference between life and death for the victims of the shooting at the Route 91 Festival. 58 people were killed and 489 were wounded that night. I would imagine some people are still alive because of Taylor’s quick thinking and actions.

Here’s a List of Stores That Will be Closed This Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year, many retailers are trying to decide whether to stay open on turkey day to start their Black Friday sales early, or to close as is tradition for their employees and their families to celebrate the day. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, November 23rd this year. Therefore, a number of businesses got the bright idea to start their Black Friday sales early. BestBlackFriday.com conducted a survey to see if Americans were receptive to the idea. 523 adults over the age of 18 took part in the survey that was given on September 26th and 27th. There was just one question: “How do you feel about stores being open on Thanksgiving Day?” Results revealed that 36.87 percent strongly disliked it and 20.66 percent disliked it. It should have been even higher than that if you ask me. 26.25 percent were indifferent. 10.62 percent favored it and 5.6 percent strongly favored it.

Retailers were listening and more than 75 well-known retailers will now be closed on the holiday this year. Good for them. Some of them will even stay closed through Black Friday. Phillip Dengler, co-owner of BestBlackFriday.com, has for the past several years compiled a list of retailers that will be closed on Thanksgiving. We have listed them here for you. Many Twitter users were thrilled to hear that stores would close and honor the holiday. I am too. However, Walmart, Sears and Target have chosen to remain open.

Woman Who Survived Abortion at 8 MONTHS After a Nurse Heard Her Cries From Trash Found Her Mother

The country is currently in the midst of a contentious late-term abortion debate, as the House of Representatives has just voted to ban abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy. One reason many oppose late-term abortion is because as medicine advances, babies are able to survive earlier and earlier in pregnancy, with some babies surviving as young as 22 weeks. This means that these aborted babies are capable of living outside of the womb, which makes their abortion even more untenable. And it also means that these babies sometimes survive the abortion — like Melissa Ohden, whose mother tried to abort her. And decades later, the two were finally reunited.

On August 29, 1977 Ohden was born, although she wasn’t supposed to be. Weighing just 2lbs, 14oz, Ohden was in the neonatal intensive care unit after having survived a saline abortion. Her mother had left the hospital, having no idea that her daughter had survived. She was eight months pregnant.

A nurse heard her crying, abandoned inside a medical waste can, and rushed her to the NICU. Another nurse, however, had instructed the medical staff to leave the tiny baby to die. One of the women in charge that day was Ohden’s own grandmother.

Black Firemen Support White Colleague Who Was FIRED For Bringing ‘Racially Insensitive’ Watermelon To Work

Wow… this is wonderful to see. A group of black firefighters in Detroit are coming to the defense of a white firefighter who brought a gift of a watermelon to his fellow firefighters his first day of work and was fired for it. They called it “racially insensitive.” I fail to see how a yummy watermelon is racially insensitive. They usually get donuts, but this guy put a pink bow on it and brought it in to work. It ended badly for him and now a bunch of black firefighters are speaking up over it. In this racially heated culture, I’m surprised… pleasantly so.

Robert Pattison, 41, was unceremoniously fired as a probationary fireman after introducing himself to the rest of his crew with said watermelon. It’s part of a tradition to bring edible gifts in on your first day. However, Second Battalion Chief Shawn McCarty noted that some staff had no taste buds and no sense of ironic humor over the whole affair (my words, not his). They considered the watermelon to be a slap at African Americans. It isn’t. You don’t get to hijack a food and label it racist. That’s moronic. “It’s not mandatory, it’s voluntary,” Second Battalion Chief Shawn McCarty told Fox2. “You come in bearing gifts. The usual gift is doughnuts, but you are allowed to bring whatever you want to bring in.”

"Worse Than Big Tobacco": How Big Pharma Fuels The Opioid Epidemic

Over a 40-year career, Philadelphia attorney Daniel Berger has obtained millions in settlements for investors and consumers hurt by a rogues’ gallery of corporate wrongdoers, from Exxon to R.J. Reynolds Tobacco. But when it comes to what America’s prescription drug makers have done to drive one of the ghastliest addiction crises in the country’s history, he confesses amazement.

“I used to think that there was nothing more reprehensible than what the tobacco industry did in suppressing what it knew about the adverse effects of an addictive and dangerous product,” says Berger.

“But I was wrong. The drug makers are worse than Big Tobacco.”

The U.S. prescription drug industry has opened a new frontier in public havoc, manipulating markets and deceptively marketing opioid drugs that are known to addict and even kill. It’s a national emergency that claims 90 lives per day. Berger lays much of the blame at the feet of companies that have played every dirty trick imaginable to convince doctors to overprescribe medication that can transform fresh-faced teens and mild-mannered adults into zombified junkies.

So how have they gotten away with it?

Townhouses, Commercial Space Planned For West OC Property

A 40-acre site on the west side of Route 611 just north of Sinepuxent Road is set to become the location of Sea Oaks Village, a residential planned community (RPC). The Worcester County Planning Commission has approved a concept plan for the project and it is expected to move on to the Worcester County Commissioners for consideration next month.

According to attorney Hugh Cropper, Sea Oaks would include 135 townhouses — as well as a pool and tennis courts — and 24,000 square feet of commercial space. Roughly 35 acres would be devoted to residential use while five acres of the site closest to Route 611 would be developed commercially.

Cropper said the project fit the property’s zoning and he didn’t expect it to need any variances as it moved along in the approval process.

By Thursday, Kim was busy cleaning up the fallout from his comments, as social media lit up with questions about which lawmakers he might have been talking about.

Mayor On Boardwalk Property: ‘No action will be taken by the town of Ocean City until a final decision is made by the Court of Special Appeal’

OCEAN CITY — While what will likely be a lengthy appeal, it will remain business as usual at an iconic building on the east side of the Boardwalk currently home to a Dumser’s Dairyland ice cream parlor at least until the legal battle over its ownership runs its course.

Ownership of the historic building was called into question last year after a 50-year agreement expired between the town of Ocean City and the heirs of the original owner, Nathan Rapoport, who built the first structure on the site in 1905. After a trial last April, a Worcester County Circuit Court judge issued an opinion essentially ruling in favor of the town of Ocean City. As a result, the Rapoport heirs, now Nathans Associates, were enjoined from any of use of the property after October 31 and would be required to remove or demolish the building before the end of this year.

Complaining About A TV Network

This explanation is from the FCC website:

As public trustees, broadcasters may not intentionally distort the news. The FCC has stated publicly that "rigging or slanting the news is a most heinous act against the public interest." The FCC may act to protect the public interest when it has received documented evidence, such as testimony from persons who have direct personal knowledge of an intentional falsification of the news. Without such documented evidence, the FCC generally cannot intervene.

The FCC cannot interfere with a broadcaster's selection and presentation of material for the news and/or its commentary. However, the FCC does regulate content in some narrow areas. Federal law prohibits or limits the broadcast of obscene, indecent or profane language as defined by U.S. courts. Also, the FCC may issue penalties for knowingly broadcasting false information.

It sounds like the monkey is on our back to provide the proof. Someone will have provide insider information to nail a MSM broadcaster.

Texas State Looking For Math Profs Committed To 'Social Justice'

There are a few classes where one's politics really are irrelevant. Despite Leftist claims that everything is subjective, there are a few places where that just can't be true. Subjectivity may change someone's outlook on history, for example, but it doesn't do anything about changing the fact that 2+2=4.

But that's not stopping Texas State University

From Campus Reform:

Texas State University is hoping to hire two Math Education professors with a demonstrated and longstanding commitment to “social justice.”

According to the job postings on Inside Higher Ed, the two new professors must not only share TSU’s commitment to “education equity” and “social justice,” but should preferably also have a demonstrated record of engagement or academic research on the issue.

The openings are for both tenured or tenure-track positions at the “ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor,” with different levels of social-justice expertise preferred at each level.

Among the preferred qualifications for the Assistant Professor rank is a “demonstrated knowledge and engagement” with issues including “social justice, equity, access, and multilingual learning,” while the Associate and Full Professor ranks prefer “evidence of research and practices” on such topics.

Multilingual learning makes some sense, because schools do have a number of students who don't fully grasp English. The rest?

Absolute crap.

Trump suggests challenging TV network licenses over 'fake news'

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump suggested challenging licenses for NBC and other broadcast news networks following reports by NBC News that his secretary of state had called him a “moron” after a discussion of the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

“With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!” Trump, a Republican, wrote in a post on Twitter on Wednesday.

Trump and his supporters have repeatedly used the term “fake news” to cast doubt on media reports critical of his administration, often without providing any evidence to support their case that the reports were untrue.

Dove Apologizes For Thinking Ad Where Black Woman Turns White Was A Good Idea

For several years, Dove — the Unilever-owned toiletries brand — has tried to market itself as focusing on a more realistic notion of beauty, at least when compared to the often unattainable standards set by many of its competitors. So why on Earth did the brand think it would, in any way — in any world — be a smart idea to run an ad wherein a darker-skinned woman transforms into a very pale woman?

Breaking News: The White House will keep the Iran nuclear deal for now, but wants Congress to make a list of actions that would prompt sanctions

President Trump will make good on Friday on a long-running threat to disavow the Iran nuclear deal that was negotiated by his predecessor, Barack Obama. But he will stop short, for now, of unraveling the accord or even rewriting it, as the deal’s defenders had once feared.
In a speech on Friday afternoon, Mr. Trump will declare his intention not to certify Iran’s compliance with the agreement. Doing so essentially kicks to Congress a decision about whether to reimpose sanctions on Iran, which would blow up the agreement.

Why You Should Care About An Aluminum Supply Scandal In Japan

A modern supply chain is a complicated thing. That car you drive might be made in the U.S.A., but — as we learned from the Takata airbag recall — the parts inside it, from raw elements to fully-assembled electronic systems, come from a tangled web of companies all over the world. Which is why it’s a big deal affecting consumers all over the world when one company’s parts turn out not to be at all what they were supposed to be.

4 Adults Arrested In Yet Another Kiddie Party Brawl At Chuck E. Cheese’s

Chuck E. Cheese’s slogan might be “Where a kid can be a kid,” but it might also be called “Where that kid’s parents will probably get into a brawl, ruining everyone’s nights, including the cops who have to come out and break up a youngster’s birthday party.”

Report Finds Auto Dealers May Be Charging Hispanic Customers More For Vehicle Add-Ons

If you’ve purchased a new car at a dealership, you’re probably familiar with the slew of possible options and add-ons for your vehicle — everything from tinted windows to extended service contracts. A new report claims that the price a customer is charged for these extras may be linked to their ethnicity.

The National Consumer Law Center today released a report [PDF], highlighting what dealers pay for auto add-on products and what they charge consumers.

It’s not a surprise that dealers mark up the prices on these products and services — they are, after all, trying to make a profit — but the report raises reasons to be concerned about the way that some dealers are passing these extra costs on.
