Search Party Being Formed for Christine Sheddy

I spoke with the mother of missing woman Christine Sheddy last night and she stated that in speaking with the Worcester County Bureau of Investagtion that they would be willing to organize a search of the properties surrounding the farmhouse where Christine was last seen one year ago.

The exact date has not yet been established, but what we do know is that the search will be conducted on a Sunday, as it is hunting season, and hunting is not allowed on Sunday's.

What I would like to do is compile a list of all of those who would be willing to assist in the actual search, provide logistical support, refreshments, anything that you would like to contribute; please let me know.
Additionally, if you have any special skills or equipment ie. search dogs, diver,or dive team, or if you are or have been a law enforcement officer, please indicate accordingly.

If you would email me at wymzie@wymzie.com I will be able to compile a list, get an idea of how many people the team will have to work with and what special skills and tools there will be available.

Please let me know as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Stephanie

Thank you all for your support

I pay my taxes, all of them and even have have an accountant! As a matter of fact after my incident in my store I have been raked over by evry agency you could imagine. I even pay my employees on the books!

As for this story like many others. It's made up. Just like the DUI and the crap Joe allows to be posted about my daughter and wife. I am and always have been an open book.

Joes source are other business or people who are jelaous or just peoploe messing wiht him. I also dont owe my bookie $21000. Well they have nothing to be jealous of. I work hard with my Wife kids and my awesome employees. That is why I have what I have. Am I proud of what I have and do I boost about it. Well maybe.
See as a kid my parents lost everything and we lived in our car but through hard work- not some hand out- my parents got back on their feet. When my father was sick again we went through hard times and I took over the business and built it to what it is today.

So if you cowards want to keep posting false crap go ahead. I will answer anything in person.
If you would spend your time to give back the community in a positive way instead of trying to tear me and others down then - maybe - just maybe Salisbury would be a better community.

Armed Robbery At Salisbury University

On November 22, 2008 at approximately 4:45 PM a Salisbury University student was robbed at the Salisbury University Athletic Fields. The suspect displayed a small black handgun. After the suspect took the victim’s property, he fled on foot, - southbound on Wayne Street.

The suspect was described as an African-American male, approximately 25 to 35 years old. He was approximately 5’8" tall, 150 to 170lbs, with a long thin face. He was wearing dark colored jeans, a black long sleeve shirt, and no coat.

Anyone who may have information about this crime is asked to contact the Salisbury University Police Department: (410) 543-6222; or, report anonymously to Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore: (410) 548-1776.

I would like to remind our campus community that crimes can occur anywhere at anytime. Individuals should always be attentive to their surroundings, and remain alert to the potential ill-intent of others nearby. Please review and consider the following tips. Extra vigilance and caution is in order whenever you are out alone, away from crowds.

Street Robbery Tips:
1. Try to remain calm. Do not resist. Consider the robber dangerous.
2. In most cases, the robber only wants your valuables/money and is not there to hurt you.
3. Assume the robber is armed, even if you don't see a weapon.
4. If a weapon is displayed, consider it to be real and loaded.
5. Do only what the robber tells you. If you don't understand, tell the robber.
6. Attempt to get a good, complete description of the robber, - taking note of unique and unusual characteristics.
7. Your main goal is to survive!
8. Don't resist and fight with the assailant unless it is evident that your life is in danger! The most effective self defense measures include running away, hiding and screaming to draw the attention of others.
9. Remember--your valuables can be replaced, - your life can't.

Report any suspicious persons immediately to the police. If possible, use a cellular phone to call 911 while maintaining visual observation of the subject(s).

Underwear Dust

One evening a husband, thinking he was being funny, said to his wife 'Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in Slim Fast. Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!'

His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn't let such a comment go un-rewarded.

The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer. 'What the Hell is this??' he said to himself as a little 'dust' cloud appeared when he shook them out. 'April,' he hollered into the bathroom, 'why did you put talcum powder in my underwear?'

She replied ...'It's not talcum powder......It's 'Miracle Grow'.

The Candyman Council

Come here little child, I have some candy for you!

While we were all raised to stay away from predators like that, just what do you think the County Council is doing to all the little children being taxed an amusement tax for team sports at the Crown Center in Fruitland.

Some Council Members called the proposal a "Bailout." I'm starting to see how it works now. You see, all you have to do is pass off a tax on children. You know, those kids UNDER 18 years old, because they have NO SAY. Come here little child, I have some candy for you.

The Wicomico County Council is actually considering charging the Hearne Family and the Crown Sports Center the back taxes and continue to tax them because the Amusement Tax the County receives is desperately needed in this very trying economy and even if it means punishing the children, they're going to do whatever it takes to gain back funds, even if it means taking from the children.

When I spoke with County Executive Rick Pollitt recently. he saw my speech on PAC 14 and firmly agreed 100% with my views and even suggested the Council look at that speech again because Albero was right on target and 100% correct.

My hope is that the Council allows public input at their next meeting and the Citizens have the opportunity to show their support in the relief of these taxes. Time will tell.
