Break Time Billiards & Harley's Don't Mix

Over the past couple of weeks our Cigar Club decided to find a new place to go to break the ice for a while and try something new. Hadley and I had visited Break Time Billiards over lunch a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. To top it off we were having a blast shooting pool, smoking a cigar and eating their fantastic food, all at an unbelievable low price!

Tonight we went again and had a fantastic waitress. We ordered our food and once again between "all" of us, there wasn't a single fry left on our plates when we were finished. The waitress was overwhelmed with an expected crowd from the Ocean City Harley Davidson Dinner Ride. She said, I doubt I'll make much from this crowd and I responded, I used to be one of that crowd and I'm sure you'll be well taken care of.

Once these guys had left she came over to me and said, I told you they don't tip very well, I made less than 10% tip from ALL of them! I asked her if she gave them good service and she said there wasn't a single complaint and she had done nothing wrong. It's no wonder you're seeing so many waiters and waitresses complaining about low tips.

By the time we had left I'm sure we made up for her losses and she was VERY happy. We felt bad that a group of old guys were there stinking up the place, laughing and enjoying ourselves as we watched Hadley doing everything he could to make any combination into the 9-Ball he could and most of the time making them! JERK!

Anyhow, Break Time Billiards is truly a great place to eat and a great place to get out and enjoy a game of pool. If you've never tried it, treat yourself one time and see how nice a well run billiard room can be. Just make sure you don't go on Wednesday Nights! Oh, during the day it's like $3.00 an hour to shoot pool!

A Hard To Believe Story, But True!

My Son came to visit me from Annapolis today and we were enjoying each others company on the front porch catching up on things when this Butterfly came passing by. I started to tell him that this was a very unique Butterfly because for the past few days I would stick my hand out and it would land on my hand and completely trust me. He replied, "Come On Dad!" I said, you know what Nick, let me get my camera and maybe you can take a picture of it, maybe we'll get lucky? I went and got the camera and showed him how to use it and we snapped a picture of the Butterfly in the bushes right in front of us. Enjoying playing around with the camera I said, are you ready? I no sooner stuck out my hand and the Butterfly flew over to me and landed RIGHT ON IT! He must have snapped 10 pictures and complained that they were all out of focus, except ONE! Hence the photo above. I have to admit, we were both kind of in shock but it's a pretty cool story.

The Dream Catcher Sinks In White Marlin Tournament!

A multimillion dollar yacht sank this morning while heading out to the White Marlin Tournament. Close friends of mine where there with 47 News on board and were able to assist in the rescue as well as take photos of the yacht going down. I was told two things possibly happened. They said, either they hit a Sea Turtle and or the hit a huge log and it completely sunk the boat. I'm hoping to have pictures very soon and fortunately everyone on board was rescued safely. It's only money!

Why Create New Rules If You Won't Enforce Them?

Considering there's never any Zookeepers and or Security around, most of the Visitors at the Zoo freely smoke whenever and wherever they want. I have tons of pictures proving so, even ones of the Staff smoking when they're not supposed to.

Zoo Security

The Salisbury Zoo admitted Monday night that they have "beefed up security" at the Salisbury Zoo. If you look back at the first picture posted above you'll clearly see a sign on the cart showing a no bicycle riding sign. What has always amazed me about visiting the Salisbury Zoo is the fact that I am only there for 10 to 15 minutes but the amount of violations I have captured on camera is just amazing in such a short period of time. There's no security at the Zoo because there's never anyone around. Zookeepers are hiding most of the time inside air conditioned buildings and even if you desperately needed someone for an emergency you'd have to go all the way to the back of the Zoo to the main office to get someone because they just aren't on the grounds.

Maybe if Jim Rapp used his head, (IF) bicycle riding through the Zoo is such a problem, make a rule there's NO BIKES ALLOWED, period! No walking your bike and certainly no riding your bike. OR, create a bike trail through the Zoo whereas anyone and everyone can ride through the Zoo. I say however, if you're going to create new rules to keep the ALBERO'S out of the Zoo, enforce the rules you have now!

Another Fabulous Carving!
