He is the author of several books, and through his website, SexChangeRegret.com, Heyer raises public awareness about those who regret gender change and the tragic consequences suffered as a result. He shared his story and warned against implementing radical hormonal and surgical interventions for gender dysphoric children.

VIRGINIA JUDGE TAKES BACK OWN RULING LETTING NON-DOCTORS PERFORM FIRST-TRIMESTER ABORTIONS

A federal judge abandoned his own previous ruling to permit medical professionals who are not doctors to perform first-trimester abortions in Virginia on Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson walked back his May 6 ruling that Virginia’s “Physicians-Only Law” requiring doctors to perform first-trimester abortions is “‘unduly burdensome’ and therefore unconstitutional,” The Washington Post reported. Hudson granted a motion for summary judgment following his conclusion.

Hudson’s previous ruling would have allowed first-trimester abortions to be performed in clinics or hospitals in the presence of a medical professional, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants and midwives with appropriate training. A physician would not be required to perform the procedure, according to the ruling.

Study finds small used cars are the most dangerous and this one is the worst

A new study suggests bigger is better when it comes to car safety.

Online automotive marketplace and research outfit iseecars.com took fatal accident reports from NHTSA covering 2013 to 2017 models and combined them with information from its used car sales database to come up with a ranked list of vehicles with the most occupant fatalities per billion miles driven.

At the top is the Mitsubishi Mirage at 10.8, followed by the Chevrolet Corvette (9.8), Honda Fit (7.7), Kia Forte (7.4) and Chevrolet Spark (7.2), with the average for all vehicles at 2.6. A total of 14 models had fatality rates that were double the average or more, using the iseecars.com methodology, and all of them are either small cars or sports cars.

Obama’s Intel Leadership Team Included at Least Two Admitted Former Communists – Not Including Obama

We knew that Brennan was a Communist. Now we know Comey was a Communist too! What does this say about Obama?

We’ve known for some time that Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan, the one who’s now knee deep in the scandal to remove President Trump from office, was once a Communist. Brennan, through his own words, let this be known in 2016
Last week, however, CNN reporter Tal Kopan found a striking admission from CIA Director John Brennan. When he first applied to join the CIA, and received his polygraph test, he was asked this standard question:

Have you ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the US?

BEACH-NESTING EAGLES

Christmas Bird Count crew pose with a new eagle nest on the north end of Smith island on 30 December 2018. Photo by Frank Renshaw

Sometimes no matter how long you have worked with a species and no matter how wild you let your imagination run, you just cannot anticipate what they will do next. The Center for Conservation Biology has mapped and inspected more than 5,000 eagle nests over the past few decades but we never expected to see them taking up residence on the open beach. A newly constructed eagle nest was discovered by the Cape Charles Christmas Bird Count crew on the north end of Smith Island on 30 December 2018. The nest was isolated out on the open beach. This nest would later have two eggs and on 30 March the adult was observed brooding small young. Amazingly, on 1 March 2019 Alex Wilke would find a second beach nest with a young eaglet on Ship Shoal Island.

The beach nests discovered in early 2019 represent the 4th and 5th ground nests constructed on the Virginia Barrier Islands in recent years. On 26 April 2013, while flying shorebird surveys along the barrier islands, Bryan Watts and Barry Truitt discovered an eagle nest built on the ground on the north end of Little Cobb Island. On 5 June 2013, while conducting surveys for beach-nesting birds, Ruth Boettcher discovered an eagle nest built on the ground on Cedar Island. On 1 June 2018 Bryan Watts and Bart Paxton, while flying colonial waterbird surveys, located an eagle nest built on a log on the back side of Wreck Island. These previous ground nests were in the dunes or on the back side of the islands. What makes the two new nests different is that they were located between the primary dune and the active surf zone, a position subject to overwash during high tides or storms and a place normally reserved for nesting plovers, terns, and oystercatchers.

The GOP Base Is Done Tolerating RINO Collaboration With The Democrats

The stupid Beltway GOP Establishment, but I repeat myself, is finally standing firm on something – unfortunately, what it is standing firm on is its failure to listen to its own base. The base is woke and the Establishment’s a joke. I speak to a lot of conservative groups of various types and flavors: hardcore tea partiers, patriotic vets, loyal radio listeners, besieged students, brass New Yorkers, even rich country club types who you would think were into Jeb! – you know, diversity. And lately, I’ve tended to start off my talks by posing this question:

“Okay, who here agrees with me that the left wants us enslaved or dead?”

Every hand goes up.

Every single one of them.

That’s our base.

TRUMP ADMIN WILL ‘SHED LIGHT’ ON A SECRETIVE PRACTICE THAT COSTS TAXPAYERS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS

The Interior Department will publicly list attorneys’ fees paid out, often to environmental activist groups, for legal settlements, according to a recent memo from Principal Deputy Solicitor Daniel Jorjani.

Jorjani’s memo states the Interior Department will develop a webpage within 30 days to publicly list details of legal settlements and cases, which the agency says is a big step in bringing sunshine to a non-transparent practice that the public is largely unaware is happening.

“This is a big deal that will shed light on the millions of dollars the DOI pays out every year in attorneys’ fees” under federal laws, an Interior Department official said in an email.

JORDAN URGES CUMMINGS TO PUBLICLY RELEASE SECRET MOU COORDINATING DEMOCRAT ATTACKS ON THE PRESIDENT

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH), Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, sent a letter to Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) urging him publicly release the nonpublic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) he executed with Financial Services Chairwoman Maxine Waters as part of a coordinated and carefully managed campaign to use congressional oversight to attack the President for political gain.
Excerpt from the letter:

“You have sought to avoid public scrutiny of your quest to obtain the President’s financial information. First, you wrote to Mazars in secret to request the President’s financial information; second, you executed a nonpublic MOU to coordinate with Chairwoman Waters; and finally, you broke your promise to hold a public business meeting to debate a subpoena to Mazars. Your nonpublic MOU has now become a matter of significant public interest due to your unprecedented actions. In the interest of promoting the utmost transparency about the Committee’s business, I encourage you to release publicly your MOU with Chairwoman Waters and any other signed or unsigned MOUs that you have entered into so that the American people can understand the extent to which you and other Democrat chairpersons are engaged in an orchestrated effort to attack the President for political gain.”

SATs will now contain secret 'adversity scores': Students will be rated on deprivation and crime in effort to level playing field for poor and minority teens

Every student taking the SAT will now be given an 'adversity score' to level the playing field between people with different social and economic backgrounds, but critics say children of affluent parents could be penalized by the new system.

The scoring system was established by the national College Board, the nonprofit which administers the test, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The new system will use 15 different factors to weigh a student's adversity score, based on things such as the crime and poverty rates in the neighborhood where the teens grew up.

Other elements of the adversity index include housing values, family median income, whether a student is a child of a single parent, or speaks English as a second language.

Rand Paul Calls John Bolton 'Malignant Influence'

National security adviser John Bolton is "a malignant influence" in the White House, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said Thursday.

According to The Hill, Paul — one of President Donald Trump's allies on Capitol Hill — is against the administration's increased military activity regarding Iran.

"I fear that he's a malignancy, a malignant influence on the administration," Paul said. "My concern is that there are people that will overreact to this intelligence and somehow get us involved in a military conflict from which there's no turning back."

The intelligence Paul was referring to deals with a reported threat to the United States from Iran. As a result, the Pentagon sent an armada of ships to the Middle East and, according to one report, has one option that would send 120,000 troops to deal with Iran.

More Chaos: Baltimore City Cryptocurrency Ransomware Attack Paralyzes Real Estate Industry

Last week, we reported the Baltimore City government was paralyzed by cryptocurrency ransomware, which infected computers associated with severs tied to the city's communication network.

A new report from The Baltimore Sun shows the hack has disrupted city servers for the eighth straight day. This time, essential systems required for transacting real estate deals have gone offline, throwing the entire industry across the city into chaos, which means no homes can currently be bought or sold.

As of Wedsenday, all real estate transactions have ground to a halt because title insurance companies cannot access city servers to verify properties are free of liens to create a new deed. Those processes have been disrupted by the ransomware attack, according to title insurance companies and real estate agents.

Islamist Somali War Criminal Into US After Marrying Somali Woman Guilty of Naturalization Fraud

Coming up on the two year anniversary of Laura Loomer being banned from Uber and Lyft for calling out their habit of employing dangerous Islamists, a CNN report confirms that a brutal Somali-Muslim war criminal has been outed as a “Uber Pro-Diamond” driver. Loomer was called a bigot and racist relentlessly by the mainstream media and alt-left activists, who said she was unfairly targeting Muslims.

Turns out that Loomer was yet again on the forefront, accurately chastising Uber and Lyft for their hiring of dangerous Islamists.

In 2016, WND reported how Yusuf Abdi Ali was even deported by Canada and had been living a “posh” lifestyle in Alexandria, VA suburbs for nearly 20 years. Even more concerning, the war criminal who committed atrocities during Somalia’s civil war, was discovered to have been working at Dulles International Airport. Yes, a Somali-Muslim war criminal with Islamist ties was allowed to openly operate in one of the airports located in our nation’s capitol.

Pamela Geller examined some of Ali’s more brutal acts in a post published yesterday about the Islamists shocking past.

This compares to a per-taxpayer position of $19,000 for their city government alone.”

Topping the list of cities with the highest taxpayer burden is Chicago, coming in at a whopping $119,119 per taxpayer. New York City is a distant second at $85,600. The rest of the list is as follows:

Democrats Lose With Anything but 'Grace'

“The grace with which she met that defeat on an unfair, unlevel playing field with the secretary of state perhaps rigging, in part, that election … is inspiring stuff at a time that our democracy is so badly broken.” So said Beto O'Rourke, the media darling who lost his bid to unseat Sen. Ted Cruz in Texas, about Stacey Abrams, the media darling who lost (and still refuses to concede) her bid to win the Georgia governorship last November.

Except that Abrams has been anything but gracious.

First of all, Abrams founded a nonprofit through which she flooded then-Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s office with incomplete, inaccurate, and outright fraudulent voter applications — only to cry “racism!” and “voter suppression!” when some of those applications were thrown out. And that was before the election. In other words, she seeded the narrative for her loss even before her defeat.

MSNBC host says Trump is winning and Nancy Pelosi is 'scared of looking completely stupid and impotent'

MSNBC host Chris Matthews said Tuesday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is now scared of "looking completely stupid and impotent" because of the moves the Trump administration has made.

diGenova: ‘John Brennan Is the Mastermind’ of ‘Conspiracy to Frame Donald Trump’

Joe diGenova described former CIA Director John Brennan as “the mastermind of” the “conspiracy to frame Donald Trump,” offering his remarks in a Wednesday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

“John Brennan has lost his security clearance,” recalled diGenova, “much to the credit of the President of the United States, a good result for the American people.”

DiGenova added, “Make no mistake about it, John Brennan is the mastermind of this conspiracy to frame Donald Trump and to steal his presidency from him after he was elected.”

DiGenova said, “It’s very important for people to realize this was not some little idea that popped into Brennan’s head. There was a brazen plot that started before the election, and the plot was to illegally exonerate Hillary Clinton so that she could become president, and then if she lost, there was an insurance policy to frame Donald Trump so he could be prevented from taking office or removed from office after inauguration.”

CPB to release migrants caught along southern border into South Florida

The Trump administration is preparing to release hundreds of asylum-seeking migrants caught along the southern border into Florida's Broward and Palm Beach counties, with no apparent plan to house, feed or care for them, according to local officials who have been briefed on the plans.

Broward County Mayor Mark Bogen said Thursday that Customs and Border Protection officials told him they would unload about 1,000 migrant families each month, evenly split between the two counties, for an unknown period of time.

Bogen called the plan "irresponsible" and warned that it would create a "homeless encampment" in his South Florida county.

"To bring hundreds of people here every week without providing the necessary resources to house and feed them is inhumane," Bogen said.

University of Minnesota Offers Scholarship for Illegal Immigrants

The University of Minnesota is reportedly planning to offer a scholarship to illegal immigrants through the Minnesota Dream Act of 2013.

According to a report from Campus Reform, the University of Minnesota is offering scholarships to undocumented students. The program was specifically designed to coexist with the Minnesota Dream Act, which was signed into law by the state of Minnesota in 2013 to help illegal alien students afford the cost of college.

A page of the University of Minnesota’s website explicitly states that illegal immigrant students are eligible for financial aid under the program. In order to qualify for financial aid as an illegal, students must first graduate from a Minnesota high school. Alternatively, they could qualify by earning of GED in the state. Male applicants between the age of 18 and 25 are also required to sign up for U.S. Selective Service.

Fraudulent family case involving 6-month-old represents 'new level of child endangerment' according to ICE officials

WASHINGTON – A Honduran man attempting to cross the border with an unrelated 6-month-old infant last week underscores what U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents have described as an increasing trend of fraudulent families presenting at the border in order to take advantage of loopholes in immigration laws and avoid being detained by immigration authorities.
“Cases like this demonstrate the real danger that exists to children in this disturbing new trend,” said HSI Acting Executive Associate Director Alysa Erichs. “And while we have seen egregious cases of smugglers renting and recycling children, this case involving a six-month-old infant is a new low – and an unprecedented level of child endangerment.”
Amilcar Guiza-Reyes, a 51-year old citizen and national of Honduras, who was previously deported in 2013, made an initial appearance in federal court in the Southern District of Texas May 10, charged with 8 USC 1324 alien smuggling for allegedly smuggling a 6-month-old infant across the U.S.-Mexico border.
On May 7, Guiza-Reyes was observed by U.S. Border Patrol wading across the Rio Grande River from Mexico into the U.S. near Hidalgo, Texas, carrying an infant child.
He initially claimed to the U.S. Border Patrol agents that the infant was his son. However, after presenting a fraudulent Honduran birth certificate at the Central Processing Center in McAllen, Texas, he was referred to HSI special agents for interview and further investigation. He later admitted to the HSI special agents that he obtained the child’s fraudulent document to show him as the father and that he intended to use the child to further his unlawful entry in to the U.S.
The child in this case, whose name is being withheld for privacy reasons, was transferred to the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services for placement.

DEMOCRATS SAY ALABAMA IS KILLING PEOPLE BY BANNING ABORTION

Congressional Democrats reacted to Alabama’s new ban on abortion by arguing that the bill will effectively kill people.

Roughly 6,700 abortions were performed in 2017, the most recent year available, according to the Alabama Center for Health Statistics.

Democrats claimed the abortion ban is sentencing women to death.

Early Tax Increase Talk Irks Two County Commissioners

SNOW HILL – A two-cent property tax increase proposed by county staff drew immediate criticism from a pair of Worcester County Commissioners this week.

At the start of a budget work session Tuesday, Commissioner Jim Bunting expressed concern about the budget presented by Worcester County staff — which includes a proposed two-cent property tax increase — and asked that the commissioners plan to approve the Worcester County Board of Education’s budget separately from the county’s overall budget.

“I just want to say I was very surprised when I got the work session book,” Bunting said. “There’s things in there I didn’t expect to see. I’m very concerned about it. At the same time I’m very pleased with what the board of education has done with their budget. Not saying that there wont be some changes in it possibly, one way or the other, but at this time, I don’t want to have to vote against the board of education because of what’s in this if it doesn’t change any.”

UNC Student Arrested, Charged After Attack (Warning: Offensive Language)

Pro-life folks have been under assault of late, especially on college campuses.

And part of the problem is that folks on the left think that being upset with the pro-life position somehow justifies their actions.

That belief was on full display during an incident at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The pro-life group Created Equal was on the campus when a woman ripped a sign out of the hands of one member of the group, Austin Beigel.

As she walks away with the sign Beigel cries out that she’s stolen the sign as she walks toward a police officer.

19-year-old pregnant woman found dead in Chicago had baby cut from her womb: Police

Three people have been charged in connection with the slaying of a pregnant Chicago teenager who had her baby cut from her womb, police said.

Marlen Ochoa-Lopez, 19, who was nine months pregnant and the mom of a 3-year-old child, was reported missing three weeks ago, according to Chicago Police Department officials.

“We believe that she was murdered and we believe that the baby [was] forcibly removed following that murder,” police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.

The baby boy was recovered after paramedics responded to a home where a woman said she had just given birth on the same day that Ochoa-Lopez went missing. DNA tests later determined the baby to be Ochoa-Lopez's child. The baby is being treated at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, in grave condition, police said Thursday. Ochoa-Lopez's family named the baby Yadiel.

Nellie Ohr deleted emails sent from husband's DOJ account

Nellie Ohr, the wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, told her husband she was deleting emails sent from his government account.

The revelation comes as both Ohrs remain under intense scrutiny for their ties to Fusion GPS and British ex-spy Christopher Steele, the author of the anti-Trump dossier that was used to obtain warrants to wiretap a member of President Trump's 2016 campaign.

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch obtained a series of April 2016 emails from a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Justice Department that show a correspondence between the Ohrs, an aide to Bruce Ohr named Lisa Holtyn, and Stefan Bress, a first secretary at the German Embassy.

They discussed setting up a dinner for the German delegation as well as a meeting to discuss Russian organized crime. Included in a proposed agenda is the “Impact of Russian influence operations in Europe (‘PsyOps/InfoWar’).”

On April 20, responding to the email thread with the subject line, “Analyst Russian Organized Crime – April 2016," came the email from Nellie Ohr about deleting the emails. "Thanks! I’m deleting these emails now," she said.

DHS Releases 9000 Illegal Aliens into U.S. in 8 Days; 1100 Released Every Day

President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released about 9,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into the interior of the United States over the last eight days, federal data confirms.

Catch and release totals obtained by Breitbart News confirm that between May 6 through May 13, roughly 9,000 border crossers and illegal aliens were released into a variety of American communities by DHS. This indicates that at least 1,100 border crossers and illegal aliens have been released into the country every day in the past week.

The Catch and release process often entails federal immigration officials busing border crossers into nearby border cities and dropping them off with the hope that they show up for their immigration and asylum hearings. The overwhelming majority of border crossers and illegal aliens are never deported from the country once they are released into the U.S.

Today, there are anywhere between 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living across the country — the majority of which are concentrated in states like California, New York, Florida, Texas, and Illinois.

Since December 21, 2018 [about 5 months], the Trump administration has released 177,600 border crossers and illegal aliens into the interior of the U.S.

Restraint Urged With Island’s New Resident

ASSATEAGUE — The second of four expected new foals was born into the herd of wild horses last weekend, continuing a veritable baby boom on the barrier island.

Early last Saturday morning, the popular mare Gokey GoGo Bones gave birth to a chestnut foal and the mother and daughter appear to be thriving thus far on the barrier island. The new foal, known for now only as N2BHS-A, and the band into which she was born live most of the year in the highly developed areas and campgrounds.

In the 1970s, the National Park Service began assigning alpha-numeric names to new foals on the island to better track their lineage as well as identify to which sub-herd they belong and the areas of the island they tend to frequent. The new foal born last Saturday will later be given a proper name through one of the various naming rights auctions or other contests.

The Manufactured Constitutional Crisis

Over the past several weeks, Democrats have spent their time defending the absurd notion that America is in the midst of a constitutional crisis. What, pray tell, has initiated this crisis? The supposed unwillingness of Attorney General William Barr to turn over to Congress unredacted sections of the Mueller report, plus underlying grand jury materials. Barr, for his part, correctly points out that the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure bar him from revealing grand jury testimony. That rule was put in place by Congress itself. Nonetheless, Democrats, seeking to manufacture a feeling of Nixonian chaos, have claimed that the Trump administration is now seeking to block the release of a report that Barr himself released. The Mueller report is, indeed, public.

Playing politics with our institutional health is a dangerous game. Here’s the truth: Our system of checks and balances is working just fine. Our politicians proclaim that the messy friction between the legislative, executive and judicial branches demonstrates that our politics is unworkable. But that friction is a feature of the system, not a bug. As James Madison explained in Federalist No. 51: “the great security against a gradual concentration of the several powers in the same department, consists in giving to those who administer each department the necessary constitutional means and personal motives to resist encroachments of the others. … Ambition must be made to counteract ambition.”

The founders worried greatly that the supremacy of the legislature would make the executive a mere footstool, propping up legislative authority. To that end, they created a unitary executive with control over law enforcement. And they gave a check against the power of the executive to Congress, which has the ability to defund departments or impeach officials.
