BATON ROUGE – Baton Rouge residents gathered Saturday afternoon to form the newest chapter of the New Black Panther Party.
The New Black Panthers arrived in Baton Rouge last Saturday to protest the officer-involved shooting death of 37-year-old Alton Sterling. Two videos of the shooting sparked national outcry and protests across Baton Rouge.
Jerald Justice said the group was approached by local residents like Edwin Smith to help establish a Baton Rouge chapter.
“It is time for new leadership and a new organization to step forward in Baton Rouge,” Smith said. “I feel like the New Black Panther Party is the organization that can bring new leadership to Baton Rouge.”
Founders met Saturday to formally establish the chapter as well as gather names for new members. WBRZ News 2’s Earl Phelps was able to briefly attend the event on the condition that he does not reveal the meeting’s location.
“With the help of the New Black Panther Party, these members should be able to handle any or everything in their city,” Justice said.

House Republicans push for three different Clinton Foundation probes
Dozens of Republican lawmakers will ask three separate federal agencies to open investigations of the Clinton Foundation on Friday as questions over the well-connected charity's operations remain unanswered.
Led by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., more than 60 House Republicans signed their names to a letter this week addressed to the FBI, the IRS and the Federal Trade Commission that detailed allegations of impropriety in the foundation's past dealings.
"Hillary Clinton is asking the voters to trust her and allow her to be president of the United States and because of that, it is important that we get answers as to how this foundation is operated," Blackburn told the Washington Examiner.

Paul Ryan Floods District with Mailers on Border Security After Funding Every Obama Open Borders Initiative
Following a new primary election poll showing that House Speaker Paul Ryan has plummeted to well below 50 percent in his home district, Ryan is out with new mailers assuring Wisconsin voters of his desire to secure the border, and urging them to support him in his contentious August 9th primary election.
The new mailers touting Ryan’s support for border security is interesting given that just last year, Ryan championed a spending bill that fully funded President Obama’s open borders agenda– including funding sanctuary cities, executive amnesty, and the release of criminal aliens. The mailers also come amid new reports indicating that, one month after his election, Ryan plans to bring up “criminal sentencing” measures that could release thousands of criminal illegal aliens from prison onto the streets.
The ICE Union warned that some of the discussed proposals could result in the “mass release of criminal aliens from federal prison.” ICE highlighted the proposal’s impact on public safety, and noted that it could “further hampe[r] immigration enforcement within the United States.”
Interestingly, Ryan’s mailer does not list a single action Ryan has actually taken—in his seventeen years in Congress— to “secure our border” or stop the threat of radical Islam from “reaching our shores.”
As House Speaker, Ryan ushered through Congress an omnibus spending bill that completely funded President Obama’s open borders agenda.
Ryan voted to fund Obama’s still-running 2012 executive amnesty for illegal aliens who allegedly entered the country as minors. Ryan’s bill also rewarded sanctuary cities with federal grants. He also provided funding for the resettlement of illegal aliens within the United States, the release of criminal aliens, and tax credits for illegal aliens.
Ryan’s spending bill also funded an expansion of Muslim migration, bringing the total number of visas for Muslim migrants this year (temporary and permanent) to nearly 300,000.

First the Turkey Coup, Now the Economic Crash
Turkey’s currency exchange rate suffered a 4.6 percent crash versus the U.S. dollar, as international investors interpreted the failed military coup and retaliatory political purge as the end of strong growth and beginning of a period of protracted economic instability in the NATO ally.
The July 15 attempted coup d’etat rocked the capital city of Ankara with gun battles, explosions and an F-16 shooting down a helicopter at the Parliament building. But with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan back in control, he promised cheering throngs that he would punish those behind the takeover attempt.
At least 265 people are dead in the failed Army putsch, led by what government sources referred to as the FETÖ terror organization,” headed by a Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania-based Imam preacher Fethullah Gülen. In a sign of the depth of the coup’s support, NTV television said 34 generals of various grades and at least 3,000 troops had been arrested so far. They include senior figures like Erdal Ozturk, commander of the third army, and the commander of the Malatya-based second army, Adem Huduti.

Clinton to Resettle One Million Muslim Migrants During First Term Alone
If elected president, Hillary Clinton could permanently resettle close to one million Muslim migrants during the first term of her presidency alone, according to the latest available data from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Between 2001 and 2013, the U.S. permanently resettled 1.5 million Muslim migrants on green cards. However, under Hillary Clinton’s stated proposals, Muslim immigration would grow substantially faster, adding nearly one million Muslim migrants to the U.S. during her first term alone.
Based on the most recent available DHS data, the U.S. permanently resettled roughly 149,000 migrants from predominantly Muslim countries on green cards in 2014. Yet Clinton has said that, as President, she would expand Muslim migration by importing an additional 65,000 Syrian refugees into the United States during the course of a single fiscal year. Clinton has made no indication that she would limit her proposed Syrian refugee program to one year.
Clinton’s Syrian refugees would come on top of the tens of thousands of refugees the U.S. already admits from Muslim countries.
Adding Clinton’s 65,000 Syrian refugees to the approximately 149,000 Muslim migrants the U.S. resettled on green cards in the course of one year, means that Clinton could permanently resettle roughly 214,000 Muslim migrants in her first year as President. If Clinton were to continue her Syrian refugee program throughout her Presidency, she could potentially resettle as many as 856,000 during her first term alone.
Analysis from the Senate Immigration Subcommittee found that Clinton’s plan to expand refugee resettlement could cost U.S. taxpayers over $400 billion.

Ivanka Trump brushes off convention-boycotting Republicans: 'That’s their choice...if they don’t want to be part of the future'
Ivanka Trump says Republicans refusing to come to this week's GOP convention in Cleveland will be left in the dust as the party moves on without them.
'That's their choice if they don't want to be part of the narrative, if they don't want to be part of the future,' Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka told ABC News' Lara Spencer today, in an interview set to air on GMA Tuesday.
'But this really is about a forward-looking moment.'
'My father is an outsider and we went through a very tough primary,' Trump added. 'And he emerged from that the winner, but there were certainly ruffled feathers along the way.'
Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush aren't attending. The GOP's 2008 and 2012 nominees, John McCain and Mitt Romney, are also skipping as are Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Trump's primary rivals.

Media Blackout: Letter from a Black Man in Baton Rouge
I [Lee Stranahan] have been in Baton Rouge for a week now, watching the international media cover the aftermath of the Alton Sterling shooting with the predictably dismal set of left-wing talking points.
While the MSM wants to pitch Baton Rouge as an example of racist America, when I talk to the residents of Baton Rouge—some white but mostly black—I’ve gotten a different story; one that’s more complex than the simple paint-by-numbers Democrat narrative that the media is shoving down America’s throat.
After my recent arrest, I got some mentions in the local press which led to my getting this email:
"Hey, just discovered your twitter feed and that you’re in Baton Rouge. Just read your weekend in parish prison piece. I’m seeing all the media reports and I’m so mad that the people aren’t being asked the right things. Are you open to hearing from who’s black and from Baton Rouge area?"
Of course, I was interested, and I responded right away. Just as the callers on the Breitbart News Daily radio show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio provide better analysis than the inside-the-beltway pundits, I wanted to share this man’s personal insights into what’s going on in Baton Rouge:
"Wow, thanks for responding! I’m a lifelong resident of Zachary, a Baton Rouge suburb, and a black man.
"I don’t believe Alton Sterling was killed because of racism. Baton Rouge is poor. They use police and arrest as a means of filling budget shortfalls. Everyone knows cops have a directive from the mayor that when a call comes in, make an arrest no matter what, because an arrest equals money for the city. Those cops were going to arrest him no matter what. Dispatch informing them a gun was used let them know how much force was necessary. Alton, a convicted felon illegally possessing a gun wasn’t going to comply no matter what, as he knew he was about to go to jail for a long time. Those forces created a tornado, simple as that.
"The problem nobody is talking about: Baton Rouge is dealing with black working middle class flight.
"Twenty years ago black neighborhoods were filled with black nuclear traditional families, headed by a working father and in most cases a working mother. These neighborhoods had dangerous elements—which unfortunately stereotyped the whole based on the few—but socially, economically, and as taxpayers, it created stability. Neighborhoods filled with working fathers kept it together. The black dollar supported jobs and businesses and that taxpayer based allowed for local services to be provided by the government.
"All of that is gone."

Terrorist Used Car-Ramming Tactic Popularized by Palestinians
The suspected terrorist gunman who killed 80 people and wounded scores of others during Bastille Day celebrations in the French Riviera city of Nice late on Thursday seemed to have taken a page out of the Palestinian jihadist playbook of vehicular terrorism.
For several years now, Palestinian terrorists have deployed the deadly tactic of plowing vehicles into pedestrians and then attempting to continue their assaults with stabbings or shootings.
Only two days ago, a Palestinian man attempted a car-ramming attack against Israel Border Police officers near Jerusalem.
A week and a half ago, three IDF soldiers were lightly wounded in another Palestinian car-ramming incident.
Last month, a Palestinian woman lightly wounded two Israelis in a car-ramming attack.
Such vehicular attacks and attempted attacks have become almost a routine throughout the most recent so-called Palestinian wave of terror targeting Israelis for over a year now.
Moreover, Palestinians have been utilizing the bloody tactic for at least eight years, with assailants at time using heavy vehicles such as tractors.

URGENT: Obama urges Americans to tamp down inflammatory rhetoric
Confronting another killing of police officers, President Barack Obama on Sunday urged Americans to tamp down inflammatory words and actions as a violent summer collides with the nation's heated presidential campaign.
Obama said the motive behind Sunday's killing of three officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was still unknown.
"Every one right now focus on words and actions that can unite this country rather than divide it further," Obama said.

House Democrats’ Plan to Secure Nation Is Less Than Two Pages Long
House Democratic leaders unveiled a national security agenda that is less than two pages in length and prioritizes combatting online radicalization and restricting gun sales.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D., Md.), and other leading Democrats unveiled the agenda for a “stronger America” at a Thursday news conference on Capitol Hill.
The three-pronged agenda focuses on securing the nation, its future, and its democracy. The white papers outlining each target area are roughly one-and-a-half pages long.
House Democrats’ brief plan to address national security comes at a time when threats facing the nation and its allies are complex, as demonstrated by Wednesday’s deadly truck attack in Nice, France. The United States is currently waging a campaign against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, deploying troops to Eastern Europe to help NATO deter Russian aggression, attempting to mitigate tensions surrounding China’s territorial claims in the South China Sea, and thwarting domestic terror threats, among other actions to protect U.S. interests.
Last month House Republicans unveiled a 23-page national security and foreign policy agenda—roughly 15 times the length of the proposals released by their Democratic colleagues on Thursday.

7-Eleven clerk caught on video disarming shotgun-wielding would-be robber
A Maryland convenience store clerk is being hailed a hero after he was caught on camera disarming a would-be robber who pointed a shotgun at his face.
In the footage, the clerk at a 7-Eleven in Frederick never flinches as he grabs the barrel of the gun and wrestles it out of the suspect’s hand.
Police obtained information the next day that led them to arrest 18-year-old Ryan Wages and charge him with the robbery attempt, Fox 5 DC reported Saturday.
The video was posted on YouTube by the Frederick News Post, which reported that it was recorded at 4 a.m. July 12.
“[The man] pointed it at my employee and started screaming at my employee, screaming in his face, and [my employee] grabbed [the gun] and took it out of the guy’s hands,” store owner Abdul Ayub told the paper. “And the guy ran out of the store, so now the police have the gun and he didn’t get anything.”
Deputies told the paper that they were able to determine that the shotgun wasn’t loaded.

Convention Chaos: Floor erupts as GOP shuts down anti-Trump rebels
CLEVELAND — The floor of the Republican convention erupted in pandemonium Monday as delegates for and against Donald Trump's nomination fought over the rules package that would govern his nomination for president later this week.
Republican Party officials put down a rebellion by conservative delegates denying them a roll call vote on the new set of rules.
The coalition of rebel delegates, joined by delegates who support Trump's nomination, moved for consideration of an alternate rules package after submitting the required number of petitions to the convention secretary. That rules package would have unbound delegates and possibly let them vote for someone other than Trump.
Rep. Steve Womack of Arkansas, acting as presiding officer over the convention, called for a voice vote of the rules package and deemed sufficient support for it to pass.

Air Force Selects First Enlisted Airmen for Pilot Training Since WWII
HAMPTON -- The Air Force has chosen 10 enlisted airmen to begin training as pilots for the first time since World War II.
The airmen were selected as part of a program that will allow them to fly the RQ-4 Global Hawk, an unmanned intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft.
Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions are the most requested by combatant commanders around the world and demand for remotely piloted aircraft, or RPAs, will likely only increase, according to the Air Force.
"In the future, RPAs may act as wingmen to manned aircraft," Capt. Trisha Guillebeau said in an email to The Virginian-Pilot.
The Air Force has not released the identities of the first airmen selected for the program or where they are based.

Clerk Overhears Guy’s Question, Acts Fast When He Sees What’s By His Feet
A confused-looking man wandered into his local Lowe’s store and began talking to a sales clerk. When a manager overheard what he was saying, he made a quick evaluation of this strange guy and noticed something amiss about him, then acted fast when his eye caught what was on the ground near him.
Owen Lima went into the hardware store near his home in North Regina, Canada desperate for one thing, but with a heavy feeling that it would end as bad as all of his attempts leading up to this one. He was running out of options, and despite what he’s probably heard about this retailer and others like it, he was willing to take his chances. When the manager came out, he took one look at him and sent Lima sobbing.
After suffering an accident that left Lima with a brain injury, the grown man has had an impossible time trying to get a job. Refusing to give up and live off of government assistance alone, he has stayed the course despite constantly being told “no,” since evidently nobody wants to hire a guy that’s slightly slow and also relies on a service dog. When he walked into Lowe’s, he had his trusty companion, Blue, by his side. However, the manager had something surprising to say about that.

Social Security under fire for plan to disarm seniors
A legal team already fighting the Veterans Administration over bureaucratic procedures that arbitrarily deprive veterans of their Second Amendment rights now is warning the Social Security Administration, which is proposing the same process, that it still isn’t constitutional.
“As is the case with the VA’s so-called ‘adjudication process’ the proposed SSA regulations contain confusing and ambiguous definitions of who constitutes a ‘representative payee,’ the criteria for appointing such a payee, and why the appointment of such a payee automatically classifies a Social Security Disability Insurance beneficiary as mentally defective for the purpose of NICS,” said a comment letter submitted to the SSA.
It comes from Michael Connelly of the United States Justice Foundation.
“It also appears that the adjudication of a recipient as being mentally defective can be made by any federal bureaucrat working for the SSA, and they can make the decision without any medical professional being involved. The often vague and sometimes generalized criteria for this adjudication process described in the proposed regulations clearly denies the basic elements of due process to the affected social security beneficiaries.

Inside the Univision-Clinton Network
The ties between the Clintons and the Spanish language television network run deep.
When former President Bill Clinton took center stage at Univision’s upfront presentation for advertisers and the media on Tuesday, it marked more than just one of his many paid appearances.
The relationship between the Clintons and Univision is deep — from owner Haim Saban’s unabashed support for Hillary Clinton’s election effort to a partnership between Univision and the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, to the network’s newscasts that have bashed Republicans and, most recently, praised Hillary’s new position on immigration — putting her squarely in line with the network’s stance on the issue.
The importance of Univision for the Latino electorate and 2016 is hard to overstate. It is by far the biggest Spanish-language media network in the United States when it comes to revenue, ratings and stations owned. In some markets, such as Los Angeles, the Univision-owned local newscasts are in the top one or two by ratings. On big nights for the Hispanic community, such as President Barack Obama’s remarks on immigration in November, Univision raked in 4.8 million viewers, more than any other network. During the July sweeps last summer, Univision boasted the No. 1 spot in prime time among viewers ages 18 to 49 for the second year in a row.

Baltimore Cops To Sue Marilyn Mosby For Malicious Prosecution
Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby will face a slew of new counts, including malicious prosecution and false arrest in a lawsuit brought by two Baltimore cops, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
Sgt. Alicia White and Officer William Porter, two officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray, filed suit May 2 against Mosby and Maj. Sam Cogen of the Baltimore Sheriff’s office for defamation and invasion of privacy. The suit alleges Mosby and Cogen knew the charges were trumped up, but filed them anyway to quell the riots that had ravaged the city.

Man Dies After Being Shot In The Head At "Stop The Violence" Rally In Ohio
At around 9pm last night a 19-year-old man was shot in the head during at a "Stop the Violence Beach Party" in Euclid, Ohio. As KMOV reports, this shooting followed an earlier shooting which killed one man (and wounded a 12 year old boy) at the rally with around 250 people present. Sadly, and darkly ironic, the 3rd victim has now died.
The fatal shooting occurred yesterday at Sims Park Beach in Euclid (23131 Lakeshore Blvd). As Breaking 911 reports,
The shooting occurred during an impromptu, resident-organized “Stop the Violence Beach Party.” There were approximately 200-300 in attendance at the party.
A crowd had gathered on the beach. Shortly after 8pm, unknown suspects fired shots and then fled on foot.Although the intended target is unknown, a nineteen year old Euclid man was struck in the head and killed by the gunfire. A twelve-year old Euclid boy was struck in the back by the gunfire and was hospitalized for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.
Later the same evening, shortly after 9pm, an eighteen year old Euclid man was walking nearby in the area of 24000 Lakeshore Blvd. An unknown suspect fired multiple gunshots at the victim from across the street, striking the victim in the shoulder. The victim was hospitalized for treatment and his condition is unknown.
No other injuries were reported in either incident and no arrests have been made. Police are investigating the possibility that the two incidents are related.
Perhaps what we need is more Hillbama calls for 'civility'.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan shows Republicans how to draw support from both parties
COLLEGE PARK – Throughout the 2016 primaries, national figures like presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders enthralled primary voters with hardline ideological positions.
But Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan took another approach — a form of moderate populism with bipartisan appeal.
In order to gain support in a strongly blue state — the second-most Democratic state in the nation, according to a 2015 Gallup poll — Republican Hogan has centered his efforts on fiscal policies while staying away from social issues.
With Trump poised to accept the Republican Party’s nomination for president this week, he could take a page from Hogan’s play book if he wants to gain some cross-party appeal in the general election race. Or it could be a party lesson for 2020, should he lose to presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in November.

Beware of Good News That Puts Lipstick on a Hillary
… or hair coloring on Donald Trump. Neither one helps.
Do you scratch your head as I do, when you read one story in the news that says retail sales grew in June and then read another that says retail sales sucked like a drain hole? Often things are not what they seem.
Sales may have improved from one month to another only because they fell into a cess pool the previous month that stank so bad nothing can compare … or because we just entered a month when things always pick up, yet this year they picked up less than in previous years (making it a bad month as things generally go) … or because one story is giving month-to-month data, while another focuses on the more telling year-to-year data.
Today, for example, NewsMax, a fairly balanced place to find economic and financial news, carried a headline that read, “Retail Sales, Industrial Output Data Buoy Economic Outlook.” The article gave the following report:

Police: Man jailed after Facebook comments to ‘kill all white cops’
A 19-year-old Macon man was arrested after he allegedly posted comments on a TV station’s Facebook page telling the public to “kill all white cops.”
Derrick “De De” Hudson, of a Roosevelt Avenue address, is accused of typing “Just kill all white cracker cops LLH” (laughing like hell) on a post by WGXA-TV about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest warrant. He is charged with soliciting people to commit murder.
Others on Facebook rebuked the comments, which were linked to a TV station post showing a video of Alton Sterling’s 15-year-old son speaking out about his father’s death.
Police shot Sterling July 5 in Louisiana in an incident captured on video and widely circulated on the internet.
A Bibb County sheriff’s sergeant took a screen shot of Hudson’s alleged threats, according to an incident report.
Hudson was booked in the Bibb County jail about five hours after the comments were posted.

After losing my husband to brain cancer.......
"After losing my husband to brain cancer, Sweet Lilly entered my home on April 18th, 2013 at just 13 weeks old. I was her second placement since she was removed from her birth father’s care at 7 weeks old. She was a total light. I tried to guard my heart and prepare myself as her birth parents were working to regain custody. Loving her came instantly, it was unavoidable. I was willing to do whatever God wanted me to, whether that meant just to loving her fiercely until her parents got her back or being her mom forever. I was in! As time went on the thought of giving her back became unbearable. When she was 18 months old the court removed parental rights and we got the green light move forward with the adoption process. At 24 years old I'm not sure I was taken very seriously, I was the youngest person in my county doing a single parent adoption at the time. But they could see that Lilly was thriving and that my love was strong. She was 23 months old when we finalized. I started this journey thinking I was going to help a baby who needed me and come to find out God knew all along that it was actually me who needed her. He was writing this story all along and it's my favorite! If you are considering adopting please consider being a foster parent. You will be amazed. These kids need permanent loving families. Lilly is now 3 and a half and full of life!"

Surely, You Jest, Thornton!
Remember a week back when I wrote an article called Disturbing Precedent? I'm sure many attorneys on Delmarva thought old Thornton had dropped his basket. Well...
My prophecy has been fulfilled and, like predicted, it didn't take too much time at all. In fact, it was a mere week later when...
Apparently, a New York City Police officer has filed a not guilty plea for corruption, with his attorney citing the Hillary Defense.
While yours truly called it the Clinton Defense, the premise is identical in nature. The article is here on the NY Post website.
It seems that NY attorney, John Meringolo, has issued such a plea for his client NYPD officer James Grant in Federal Court. The defense states, "...She was unaware she was committing a crime. Here, there is no crime whatsoever." He states his client was no worse than Hillary Clinton.
The said alleged activity was police swapping favors from prostitute named Gabi Grecko, stating was merely a violation of police conduct and doesn't warrant federal charges.
Enjoy the article, my legal eagles scoffers!

Turkey holds 1,500 U.S. military HOSTAGE after coup, Obama busy PLAYING GOLF!!
Erdogan, the despotic ruler of Turkey, appears to be holding 1,500 U.S. soldiers hostage at Incirlik air base in an attempt to pressure Obama to hand over his political opponent who was exiled to Pennsylvania. Erdogan claims that he ordered and organized the failed coup last night.
Where’s Obama? Out getting a few rounds of golf of course!!!
OK now look, I think we overdo it on the “OMG Obama is playing golf again” outrage. But in this case, I really am outraged. Shouldn’t that self-centered arrogant moron interrupt his golf game to make absolutely sure that 1,500 out of our troops are released quickly and safely?!?

Globalist Obama: Terrorists, Racist Cops Are 'Chronic Impulses' to Be Defeated by Global Elites
Globalist elite cooperation can defeat the “chronic violence” that is caused by real jihadism in France and supposed racism in police forces, President Barack Obama told a roomful of foreign ambassadors July 15.
“Overnight in Nice [France], we witnessed another tragic and appalling attack on the freedom and the peace that we cherish … [and] it’s been a difficult several weeks in the United States,” Obama told the ambassadors gathered in the White House.
After mentioning the Nice attack and hinting at the police engagements, Obama sketched out his demand for globalist fix for the “chronic violence” that he says is caused by competing racial, national and religious solidarities;

Obama must pardon Gen. David Petraeus
Anyone who served in the military understands the underlying principle of getting the bottom line up front. Because in a war zone there is always a chance the “messenger” might not get to complete their report or dispatch due to hostile fire.
The bottom line here is President Obama should pardon Gen. David Petraeus immediately. Given the outcome of the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private computer server during her four years as secretary of State, anything short of a full pardon by the president of Gen. Petraeus should be considered unacceptable by every American — especially the 2.2 million men and women in uniform and America’s 22 million veterans.
Surely there are distinctions between the two investigations. The classified material discovered in Gen. Petraeus‘ home and that he gave to an Army Reserve major with a secret clearance (his alleged paramour) was never accessed by hostile actors. In contrast, FBI Director James B. Comey briefed:
“We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private commercial email accounts of people with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her personal account She also used her personal email extensively while outside the United States, including sending and receiving work-related emails in the territory of sophisticated adversaries We assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal email account.”
Mr. Comey also said among the thousands of email chains examined, “Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent Seven email chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret Special Access Program level.”

Reeling From Falling Polls, Paul Ryan Floods District With Mailers On Border Security After Funding Every Obama Open Borders Initiative
“Keeping America safe is a big job. And it’s the most important one there is,” the Ryan mailer reads. “Protect our Homeland— that means securing the border, confronting Islamic Terrorism, and tackling new threats by stopping them from reaching our shores… Paul Ryan for U.S. Congress… Vote Tuesday, August 9th”

Just Hours Before Islamist Truck Terror, Hollande said Populism Is the Real Threat
Just hours before a truck driver reportedly shouting “Allahu Akhbar” mowed crowds down, killing 84, President Hollande warned it is right-wing populism that threatens France most.
In the interview yesterday, which traditionally takes place annually on July 14, Mr Hollande touched upon the threat of terrorism in France, which has seen several major Islamist attacks in less than two years. The French president took a swipe at Front National voters during the interview as well as underlining that populism is perhaps the primary danger facing the country.
The Socialist head of state said the state of emergency imposed after horrific terror attacks last November would not be extended beyond July 26. After last night’s attack, however, Prime Minister Valls confirmed today that Parliament will next week vote to extend it. Under a state of emergency, police are given additional powers.

Police officers pay for motel room, help raise $150G for homeless teen
More than $150,000 dollars have been raised for a Georgia 19-year-old who was found sleeping in a tent outside the gates of his college last weekend.
Fred Barley, who is homeless, was discovered by two police officers responding to a trespassing call near a parking lot at Gordon State College in Barnesville. He told the officers he had ridden his little brother's bicycle six hours to register for classes for his second semester of college.
In addition to the bike, Barley had two duffel bags containing all his wordly possessions and two gallons of water. All he had to eat, according to a report by WSB, was a box of cereal.
"After meeting Fred, I could tell he was a good kid,” Gordon State College Police Officer Dicky Carreker told the Barnesville Herald-Gazette. “He was a young kid who had been dealt a bad hand and was trying to make the best out of it. All he wanted was a job."
Carreker and Barnesville Police Officer Maria Gebelein told Barley he couldn't stay in the tent, but they knew someplace he could stay.

Pamela Geller: Hospital Refuses to Release Medical Records of Five-Year-Old Idaho Victim Raped By Muslim Migrants
A five-year-old girl was raped and urinated upon by three Muslim migrant boys in Twin Falls, Idaho; one of them, a 14-year-old, videotaped the attack. After the attack, instead of getting justice, the victim’s family has been abused and targeted by law enforcement and medical authorities as if they were the criminals. The mother cannot get copies of the medical records of her own child, or transcripts of 9-1-1 calls made on the day of the attack.
In examining notes taken of their conversations with the victim’s mother, I was taken aback by how contemptuous they are of her. They talk down to her, as if she were the perpetrator, not the mother of the victim of this monstrous attack.
It is outrageous. And it gets worse. The supposedly seven-year-old rapist who put his penis in the girl’s mouth, urinated on her and in her mouth, and who reportedly owned the blue pocket knife that he used to threaten her, was never even removed from his home. That family still lives next door to the victim. For the longest time, the attacker wasn’t even limited in his access to the community’s children; now he must be supervised by someone 14 years old or older. When they stipulated this, the court had to have been aware that the boy who videotaped the rape was 14. This a gross insult against this victimized family — and a direct result of a judge’s decision.

Small Business Owner Explains Options: "Close, Hike Prices, Or Eliminate Jobs"
The mad dash to increase the minimum wage continues. Earlier we reported that New York and California had passed legislation that would raise the minimum wage to $15, and in June the District of Columbia also voted unanimously to raise the minimum wage to $15 as well.
In a statement sent to The Daily Signal, D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson said the following:
The District can be an expensive place to live and therefore the concern about the minimum wage is more acute than would be the case is other areas of the country. I expect that the District will not be alone in the Washington metropolitan region, as similar legislation is pending in populous Montgomery County, Maryland.
One small business owner is not so thrilled about the announcement however. Carolina Story, co-owner of Straw Stick & Brick Delicatessen in northwest Washington said she is in shock about the minimum wage hike. "It puts a big stop on little startups like ours" Story said.
As The Daily Signal reports, Story took to Facebook in order to rant a bit about what the hike means to small business, especially Straw Stick & Brick. Story quickly added up the additional labor costs that the deli would would be forced to deal with as it struggles to stay profitable.
This means that a small business like mine—that needs to fill at least 11 entry level positions would have to pay those employees around $31,000 each per year which would amount to approximately $363,000 per year. Of course we would still need to fill at least [three] management positions which would obviously demand more than minimum wage—say maybe $40,000 per year on the low end (these positions deserve more pay but because of the entry level positions I am forced to be conservative).
That means that our yearly labor cost might rise to $483,000 in 2020. Business owners in my situation would need to make $1,932,000.00 per year in order to have a healthy business, pay ourselves a living wage, and cover fixed and variable costs.

What's Starting Now Will Overturn The Entire System: "Complete Collapse of Everything"
“There’s too much of everything…” The debt, the currency collapse, the global economy, and the institutions we’ve all taken for granted.
All of it is head for prolonged collapse, and revolution.
Michael Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg warns about the immense scale of the problems that have been triggered by the Brexit – and could lead to the complete disintegration of the European Union.
The status quo is being disrupted, and a major, major event is coming. This one may well be big enough to wipe everyone out, that is those who aren’t able to duck out and survive. More

Hillary Clinton beats the rap while condemning others to face it
James Comey ignored the biggest key to her consciousness of guilt
As he methodically laid out the case against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private, unsecure server and email accounts to carry out all of her official government business as secretary of state before declining to recommend criminal charges, FBI Director James B. Comey left out one major piece of evidence. It’s the one piece of the puzzle that truly nails her, since it demonstrates consciousness of guilt.
She fired an ambassador serving under her for doing eerily similar, but far less damaging, things.
There has been a lot of chatter about the “lack of criminal intent” since Mr. Comey’s announcement. Consider that “gross negligence” and not “intent” was the standard, and that she asked top staff to remove classified markings from documents sent to her, and that despite her original pronouncement that “there is no classified material,” theFBI found more than 100 classified documents, including several designated Top Secret/SAP. And consider that she instructed her aides to “design the system we want,” one that would prevent “the personal” from being “accessible.”

Surging "Intercommunity Confrontations" In France Mean "Civil War Is Inevitable"
For French President François Hollande, the enemy is an abstraction: "terrorism" or "fanatics".
Instead, the French president reaffirms his determination to military actions abroad: "We are going to reinforce our actions in Syria and Iraq," the president said after the Nice attack.
So confronted with this failure of our elite who were elected to guide the country across nationals and internationals dangers, how astonishing is it if paramilitary groups are organizing themselves to retaliate?
In France, the global elites made a choice. They decided that the "bad" voters in France were unreasonable people too stupid to see the beauties of a society open to people who often who do not want to assimilate, who want you to assimilate to them, and who threaten to kill you if you do not. The elite took the side against their own old and poor because those people did not want to vote for them any longer. They also made a choice not to fight Islamism because Muslims vote collectively for this global elite.
"We are on the verge of a civil war." That quote did not come from a fanatic or a lunatic. No, it came from head of France's homeland security, the DGSI (Direction générale de la sécurité intérieure), Patrick Calvar. He has, in fact, spoken of the risk of a civil war many times. On July 12th, he warned a commission of members of parliament, in charge of a survey about the terrorist attacks of 2015, about it.

In email probe, echoes of another time prosecutors weighed charging Hillary Clinton with a crime
Over the course of 16 hours, prosecutors and FBI agents agonized over whether to charge Hillary Clinton with a crime. In the end, after weighing every ounce of evidence, examining piles of documents and gaming out whether a jury would ever convict her, the group made its wrenching decision: no charges.
Nearly 20 years before FBI Director James B. Comey declared that “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring a criminal case against Clinton over her use of a private email server while secretary of state, Clinton narrowly escaped a similar legal peril amid the Whitewater investigation that engulfed much of her husband’s time as president.
While history remembers the 1990s probe led by independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr for its pursuit of President Bill Clinton over the possibility he had lied under oath about his relationship with intern Monica Lewinsky, internal documents from the inquiry show how close prosecutors came to filing charges at that time against Hillary Clinton. They even drew up a draft indictment for Clinton, which has never been made public.

Maryland Lawmaker Heading To RNC Praises Trump, Pence & Hogan
Donald Trump postponed his announcement that was scheduled Friday where he was going to announce his running mate, due to the terror attacks in France.
Trump did announce on Twitter that Indiana Governor Mike Pence will be his running mate, and the two will make a joint appearance in New York today.
A Republican state lawmaker from Maryland, who will be attending next week's Republican National Convention, says this is a good choice.
Baltimore County State Delegate Ric Metzgar will attend his first Republican Convention next week as a guest, and he says Pence's conservative credentials will help him attract religious conservatives who have felt abandoned by other Republican candidates in the past.

The Fake Factory That Pumped Out Real Money
The biodiesel factory, a three-story steel skeleton crammed with pipes and valves, squatted on a concrete slab between a railroad track and a field of storage tanks towering over the Houston Ship Channel. Jeffrey Kimes, an engineer for the Environmental Protection Agency, arrived there at 9 a.m. on a muggy Wednesday in August 2011.
He’d come to visit Green Diesel, a company that appeared to be an important contributor to the EPA’s fledgling renewable fuels program, part of an effort to clean the air and lessen U.S. dependence on foreign fuel. In less than three years, Green Diesel had reported producing 50 million gallons of biodiesel. Yet Kimes didn’t know the company. He asked other producers, and they weren’t familiar with Green Diesel either. He thought he ought to see this business for himself.
Kimes, who works out of Denver, was greeted at the Green Diesel facility by a man who said he was the plant manager. He was the only employee there, which was odd. “For a big plant like that, you’re going to need a handful of people at least to run it, maintain it, and monitor the process,” says Kimes, a 21-year EPA veteran. The two toured the grounds, climbing metal stairways and examining the equipment. The place was weirdly still and quiet. Some pipes weren’t connected to anything. Two-story-high biodiesel mixing canisters sat rusting, the fittings on their tops covered in garbage bags secured with duct tape. Kimes started asking questions. “They showed me a log, and from that you could see they hadn’t been producing fuel for a long period of time,” he says.

14 people wounded in shooting at Bakersfield house party
Three young men who were told to leave a Bakersfield house party returned early Saturday morning and opened fire into a crowd of more than 100 teenagers, injuring 14 people, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 1 a.m. in the 600 block of Stephens Drive and left two people in critical condition, said Ray Pruitt, a spokesman for the Kern County Sheriff’s Department. All of the victims are expected to survive.
Pruitt described the suspects as black males between the ages of 16 and 19, but he said that as of Saturday night, no arrests had been made.
A girl who lives at the home where the shooting occurred was given permission to throw a party by her parents and promoted the party on social media, Pruitt said.
“At some point, people who were not invited showed up,” he said. The party swelled to at least 150 revelers and “at some point, it got out of control,” Pruitt added.

The Trump Revolution
Beating the Hillary Hate Brigades (HHB) to the punch with what appears to be the first book published about the political rise of Donald Trump, Ilana Mercer has written an insightful short history of the ascendancy of “The Donald” entitled The Trump Revolution: The Donald’s Creative Destruction Deconstructed. The HHB in the media will undoubtedly do its best to rewrite history (i.e., lie) when it comes to how Donald Trump repeatedly exposed them as mostly a bunch of frauds, imposters, and biased political hacks during the primary campaign season. The Trump Revolution sets the record straight on all of this, and more, in thirty-one short chapters, and will be a valuable – and entertaining — fact-check resource.
Why the entire Washington establishment, including the bigwigs of both parties, hate, and fear Trump is clearly explained by quoting the candidate’s own words. He opposed the invasion of Iraq and said the war was a terrible mistake; he favors liberalizing relations with Cuba; denounced his Republican competitors as “totally controlled by their donors, by the lobbyists, and by the special interests”; he explained that “the stock market is bloated,” thanks to the Fed; he would rather “have a great relationship with Vladimir Putin” and do business with Russians than start World War III against them; he said John McCain “is not a war hero. He is a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured, okay?”; he wants to enforce American immigration laws by building an even better border wall than the ones built by Clinton, Bush, and Obama (yes, Trump is not the first to have the idea); and he shocked and offended the liberal media by declaring that he does everything in his power to pay as little tax as possible.
Mercer would make a good speech writer in a Trump administration, for she has a talent for spot-on adjectives, such as “the none-too-bright Joan Walsh, Salon editor-in-chief”; “smarmy Michael Smerconish” of CNN; “Campbell Brown, another banal bloviator”; “jackass Anderson Cooper of CNN”; the “malevolent moron” Jorge Ramos of Univision; “being a Democrat generally comes with the presumption of asininity”; and how Megyn Kelly of FOX is “a showgirl, really.”

Verdict To Be Announced Today At Rice Trial
A verdict will be handed down today in the trial of Baltimore City Police Lt. Brian Rice, the highest ranking officer charged in the death of Freddie Gray.
As he did at the trials of Officer Edward Nero and Caesar Goodson, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams is deciding this case.
The judge will arrive in the courtroom at around 10 this morning an announce his verdict.
Since Rice only faces three charges, manslaughter, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment, today’s court proceedings will be relatively short, compared to other bench trials.

Film exposes ‘gun-free zones’ as ‘unarmed-victim zones’
See Thomas Jefferson's warning against laws banning firearm possession
At the core of Barack Obama’s gun ban agenda, which he’s been pursuing largely unsuccessfully since he entered office, is the idea that laws banning weapons will cut down on violence.
He’s raised the issue after virtually every shooting episode that’s injured America, including at the memorial service in Dallas for the five police officers killed by a sniper.
There, he said, “We flood communities with so many guns it’s easier for a teen to get his hands on a Glock than get a computer or a book.”
But now the Gun Owners of America has released a short film portraying the real problem that governments, schools and others are trying to address by banning guns in specific areas, what critics describe as “unarmed victim” zones.
Those are areas where shootings happened at Virginia Tech in 2007, Fort Hood in 2009, the Aurora movie theater in 2012, Sandy Hook in 2012, the DC Navy yard in 2013, Fort Hood in 2014, the Chattanooga military offices in 2015 and the Lafayette Grand Theatre in 2015. Those attacks cost 105 lives and injured more than 150.
“If we add more recent high-profile attacks in gun-free zones – Umpqua Community College (October 2015) and Pulse Orlando (June 2016) – the death toll rises to 163 and the number of injured far exceeds 200,” GOA said.

Saudi Ambassador Connected To Al-Qaida, Documents Reveal
The unclassified 28 pages of the 9/11 report reveal that the FBI and CIA had evidence connecting Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan, nicknamed Bandar Bush, to al-Qaida and men close to the 9/11 hijackers.
The report shows that bin Sultan was most closely connected to Osama Bassnan, a suspected Saudi intelligence agent who was close to 9/11 hijackers.
The report states that “[Bassnan] and his wife have received financial support from the Saudi Ambassador to the United States and his wife.” “According to the FBI, on May 14, 1998, Bassnan cashed a check from Bandar in the amount of $15,000.”
The report found that Bassnan had been in contact with 9/11 hijackers Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi, and suspected Saudi intelligence agent and terrorist supporter Omar al-Bayoumi.

Novel stem cell technique helps patients avoid total hip replacement
Jeanne Mitterando, 46, is a very active family medicine doctor— she hikes, skis and works out with a personal trainer. But all that stopped after she was hospitalized for asthma and given high-dose steroids for a month.
The Martinsville, New Jersey woman began experiencing pain in her right hip and soon needed a cane to walk.
“I was [doing rounds] at the hospital, but slowly, walking became a problem,” she told FoxNews.com. “I couldn’t do stairs anymore.”
Soon, the pain moved into her left hip and she was diagnosed with avascular necrosis, where the bone dies in the femoral head, the highest part of the thigh bone. The condition accounts for 15 percent of all total hip replacements performed every year in the U.S.

Loony Liberal Group Releases Plan to Oust Trump
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) released a 28-page report Friday arguing most of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s governing agenda is unconstitutional, and promises to keep a running tally of all Trump’s policy goals that run afoul of the Constitution.
Titled “The Trump Memos,” the analysis encompasses the New York billionaire’s proposals on immigration, torture, libel, abortion, and government surveillance. It effectively serves as a blueprint for the legal arguments the ACLU would marshall when challenging Trump’s initiatives if elected president.
“Donald Trump’s proposed policies, if carried out, would trigger a constitutional crisis,” ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero wrote Wednesday in the Washington Post. “By our reckoning, a Trump administration would violate the First, Fourth, Fifth and Eighth amendments if it tried to implement his most controversial plans.”

The Shocking Number of Islamist Terror Attacks Against the US Rises
The Heritage Foundation is regrettably adding three more terrorist plots to the list of Islamist terrorists plots or attacks against the U.S. homeland since 9/11, bringing the total to 89.
The first plot to be added was committed by 21-year-old Munir Abdulkader, who, according to documents recently unsealed by the Department of Justice, pled guilty to planning an attack on police officers and a member of the military in southern Ohio. Because the arrest was in May 2015, this plot will be added as the 71st plot on the U.S. since 9/11.
Beginning in July 2014, Abdulkader started expressing his support for ISIS on Twitter. By May 2015, Abdulkader was in communication with a member of ISIS overseas, Junaid Hussain. Hussain directed Abdulkader to forego traveling to Syria and launch a domestic attack within the U.S.

Pence on Why He's Joining Trump
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who Donald Trump formally introduced as his running mate on Saturday morning, lauded the presumptive GOP nominee as a strong leader who will bring his brand of "no-nonsense leadership" to Washington D.C., saying that he accepted Trump's offer because the stakes "could not be higher."
"Elections are about choices, and I also joined this ticket because the choice could not be more clear, the stakes could not be higher," Pence said in a brief speech, following a lengthy introduction from Trump broadcast from the New York Hilton Saturday morning.
"Americans can choose a leader who will fight to make America safe and prosperous again and bring real change or we can elect someone who literally personifies the failed establishment in Washington, D.C."
Nearly eight years of the combined policies of President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have "weakened America's place in the world and stifled our nation's economy," Pence continued, and the terrorist attacks at home and overseas and Friday's attempted coup in Turkey "all attest to a world spinning apart."
