Video: James Younger, At Age 3, To Dad: Mommy Tells Me I’m A Girl

A four-year-old video taken by Texas father Jeff Younger shows his son, James Younger, saying “mommy” tells him he’s a girl, paints his fingernails nails, and puts him in dresses.

Mr. Younger, who is currently fighting for sole conservatorship of James against ex-wife Anne Georgulas, said during a podcast last year that he took the video of James, who was three years old at the time, when he noticed changes in his son’s behavior.

“You’re a boy, right?” Mr. Younger asks his son in the video.

“No,” James responds. “I’m a girl.”

“Who told you you’re a girl?” the father asks.

Hans von Spakovsky: FBI, CIA Fear Criminal Prosecutions Over Durham’s Spygate Probe

Employees of intelligence agencies may be “very scared and very worried” of U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation of the origins of the Obama administration’s surveillance of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2015 and beyond, speculated Hans von Spakovsky, a Heritage Foundation senior legal fellow, in a Monday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with host Rebecca Mansour and special guest host David Ng.

Under James Comey’s former directorship of the FBI, the federal government surveilled Trump’s political associates as early as 2015, ostensibly as a “counterintelligence” operation on alleged Russian “interference” in 2016’s presidential election.

In May, Attorney General William Barr appointed U.S. attorney John Durham to head the aforementioned investigation of the Obama administration’s surveillance of Trump’s campaign, including the use of surveillance warrants via the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA),

History Lesson

September 9, 1850?

California became a state!

The people had no electricity!

The state had no money!

Almost everyone spoke Spanish!

There were gunfights in the streets!

So, basically NOTHING has changed except back then the women had real boobs and the men didn't hold hands.

And that, my friends, is your history lesson for today

British officials create 41-mile detour for 65-foot-long road closure

Talk about taking the long way home.

Motorists in southwest England will need to pay special attention when driving through Dorset County next week, where officials are putting a 41-mile detour around a 65-foot stretch of construction work.

The diversion will take drivers along several roads and into another county before heading back into Dorset County. Local residents have blasted the council's decision.

"It's just crazy and there doesn't seem to be any logic to it," said Heather Chapman, who runs a camping business near the closure.

State Fire Marshal Reminds Residents About Heat Source Safety

Space heater
STATEWIDE, October 24, 2019 -  State Fire Marshal Brian S. Geraci is reminding residents to use best practices when heating their homes as temperatures continue to drop. Heating equipment is involved in one out of every five home fire-related deaths, and half of all home heating fires will occur during the months of December, January, and February.
"Like clockwork, my office will report to a fire in the coming months as a result of a space heater or fireplace," said Fire Marshal Geraci. "It is my life's work to eliminate home fire deaths, a mission that every Maryland resident can help us to achieve by using best practices when it comes to heating their homes this fall and winter."
For homeowners with fireplaces, be sure to have a qualified professional clean and inspect your chimney and vents annually. Store cooled ashes in a tightly covered metal container and keep it outside at least 10 feet from you home and any other structure.
For homeowners utilizing portable space heaters, please follow the advice below to ensure safe use:
  • Only use a portable heater that has a qualified testing laboratory seal.
  • Keep the heater at least three feet away from anything that can burn, including people.
  • Use a heater with a thermostat and overheating protection.
  • Make sure the heater has an automatic shut-off in the event that it is tipped over.
  • Keep children away from space heaters and do not allow it to block an exit.
  • Plug the heater into a grounded wall outlet only, never to an extension cord.
  • Turn the heater off whenever you leave the room or before going to sleep.
It is paramount that you never use your oven as a heat source and that you have working carbon monoxide alarms that are tested monthly. In the event of a power outage, all portable generators should be located as far away from your home as possible, especially away from windows. Remember, it is better to be safe and stay at another location - such as a family member or friend's house, a motel, or local shelter - then to use risky practices to alternatively heat your home when the main heat source isn't functioning.

Democrat Katie Hill Admits Affair with Campaign Staffer, Apologizes

Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) admitted Wednesday to having had an affair with a staffer on her congressional campaign.

Her admission seemed to contradict her denial the day before of an affair with a male member of her congressional staff, though the admission Wednesday may concern a different, female staffer who worked on her campaign but not in her Capitol Hill office.

The House adopted new ethics rules this year (by voice vote, not roll call vote) banning romantic relationships between members of Congress and their staffers, in response to the #metoo movement.

Rep. Hill was elected in 2018 in California’s 25th congressional district as one of seven Democrats who unseated incumbent Republicans in the Golden State. She is vice chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. She also protested vigorously against the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court last year, calling Kavanaugh a “serial predator” after he faced several sudden uncorroborated accusations from female classmates.

Is It Time For America To Begin Decoupling From Communist China?

Perhaps the most momentous part of the Trump administration’s National Security Strategy (NSS) was its acknowledgment that the U.S. government’s historical premise “that support for China’s rise and for its integration into the post-war international order would liberalize China” was wrong. Recent events indicate that not only was the theory underlying all U.S.-China policy for nearly 50 years incorrect, but that perhaps the opposite is true: Support for China’s rise and for its integration into the post-war international order has actually illiberalized America.

Stated differently, there is a case to be made that since President Richard Nixon’s historic 1972 visit to China, the United States has become more like China than China has become like us. We may have been sowing the seeds of our own destruction.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is just one of many prominent Western industries as diverse as automobiles, fashion, and lodging that have cowed to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) line, and engaged in self-censorship out of a desire for the almighty dollar. While the NBA is a particularly deserving target of ire, given the fact its social justice warriors have shown themselves to be hypocritical sellouts, one would be hard-pressed to find any entity with substantial profits or funding tied to China willing to permit the voicing of views that might rankle the CCP.

MLB umpire threatens "Cival War" if President Trump is impeached

Major League Baseball is investigating an umpire's tweet saying he was going to buy an assault rifle and warning of civil war if President Trump is impeached. ESPN obtained a copy of Rob Drake's tweets before he deleted them from his Twitter account.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred said Wednesday the league would look into the tweets by Drake, who has been a full-time umpire since 2010. He posted the remarks before Game 2 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals Tuesday night.

Drake tweeted about the ongoing House impeachment inquiry into Mr. Trump. "I will be buying an AR-15 tomorrow, because if you impeach MY PRESIDENT this way, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER CIVAL WAR!!! #MAGA2020," he wrote, according to ESPN.

Trump STUNS Joe Biden with clever political move (trapped!)

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s 2020 Democratic presidential campaign was stunned to find out Thursday morning they’d been tricked by President Donald Trump.

Biden’s campaign unveiled a new Latino voter outreach program just the day before, which featured the slogan “Todos Con Biden” (Which translates to “Everyone With Biden.”)

But the outreach effort was turned on its head just hours later by Trump’s team.

And in a clever political move, the Trump campaign is using Biden’s new slogan to connect Latino voters to the president’s re-election campaign.

It turned out the Biden campaign committed a big error: They forgot to purchase www.todosconbiden.com. They also failed to reserve the @TodosConBiden Twitter handle.

Schiff’s Secret Bombshells

“Bombshell. The walls are closing in … That’s more or less been the unanimous chorus in the impeachment press since Tuesday,” The Wall Street Journal editorial board writes.

The problem? The left’s media narrative relies on nothing but opening statements from their hearings—and leaks from Democrats themselves.

“The self-described goal of Mr. Schiff’s hearings is to impeach and remove from office a President elected by 63 million Americans. This requires more transparency and public scrutiny than Mr. Schiff’s unprecedented process of secret testimony, followed by selective leaks to the friendly media to put everything in the most anti-Trump light, in order to sway public opinion.”

Tennessee teen wearing ankle monitor admitted to shooting, sexual assault of Nashville rideshare drivers: police

A Tennessee teenager faces several charges after a violent crime spree Friday night that included the shooting of a female rideshare driver and the sexual assault of another, police announced on Wednesday.

Reginald Williams, Jr., 17, who was wearing an ankle monitor under the supervision of the Department of Children’s Services during the alleged crime spree involving rideshare drivers, admitted to his involvement, according to a Metropolitan Nashville Police Department news release.

Police said a female Lyft driver responded around 9:15 p.m. on Friday to the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, Tenn. to pick up three young men who, according to WKRN-TV, used a stolen phone to request the ride. The woman then drove them to a location about twenty minutes away and that is where she was robbed and sexually assaulted at gunpoint, investigators said.

Republicans Say ‘Smoking Gun’ Impeachment Testimony Is Actually ‘Fourth-Hand’ Hearsay

Democrats are hailing testimony from senior State Department official Bill Taylor on Tuesday as their “smoking gun” to prove that President Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine unless they investigated former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

Rep. Lacy Clay (D-MO) tweeted, “I was in the room. Jaws dropped, heads shook in disbelief, this president and his enablers willfully put #NationalSecurity at risk to benefit his political campaign. This wasn’t just a smoking gun, it was a smoking cannon.”

Rep. Andy Levin (D-MI) told reporters it was his “most disturbing day in the Congress so far.”

However, Republicans said Taylor, the top U.S. official at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, produced no smoking gun and only recounted hearsay.

'Be Careful What You Wish For' - Establishment Democrats Are Looking For A "Savior" To Enter The Race

Establishment Democrats are becoming extremely nervous, because they are starting to realize that the field of candidates currently running for the Democratic nomination is exceedingly weak.

The campaign is nearly a year old, there have been nationally televised debates month after month, and at this point only three candidates in the field have any chance of winning. All of the other candidates have completely flopped, and establishment Democrats are deeply concerned about the weaknesses of the three candidates that are still standing. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are considered to be way too liberal to win a general election, and Joe Biden has been slipping in the polls and his fundraising numbers have been absolutely terrible.

With just a few months left until voting begins, many establishment Democrats are now desperate for a “savior” to come along and bail them out, and that could potentially result in a very familiar name entering the race.

WATCH: Trump Asks HUD Secretary Ben Carson to Open Cabinet Meeting with Prayer

President Donald Trump asked Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson to offer “grace” at the opening of the cabinet meeting at the White House on Monday.

“We’ll have a few questions after grace,” the president said, then turned to Carson and added, “If you would, Ben, do the honors.”

During his prayer, Carson observed that “separation of church and state means that the church does not dominate the state, and it means the state does not dominate the church.”

“Our kind Father in Heaven, we’re so thankful for the many blessings that you have bestowed upon us in this country,” Carson began, “and we’re thankful for the people of courage who have been here before us, who have fought hard for the rights of our country.”

'Targeted and taken out': Insider narrative emerges in Michael Flynn case

The first insider’s narrative on the travails of retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has been filed in federal court amid a battle over access to multiple pieces of evidence.

Flynn, convicted of lying to the FBI, had to sell his home to pay legal bills, says the narrative. Prosecutors threatened to go after his son and business partner, Michael Flynn Jr., unless he cooperated.

Sidney Powell wrote this story in a letter to Attorney General William P. Barr in June as she was taking over as defense counsel for the former White House national security adviser.

She immediately accused the government of withholding exculpatory evidence that would show prosecutors violated U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan’s order. Her motions essentially have been attacks on special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russia election trespassing, though Flynn was convicted of lying to FBI agents on another matter.

The drama is set to play out at a hearing next month and sentencing in December. Meantime, Ms. Powell won the judge’s permission to reply to Mr. Van Grack with an extended brief that has been filed but not redacted for public viewing.

No charges will be filed against corrections officer who drove into protesters

A grand jury decided Wednesday not to press criminal charges against a corrections officer who in August drove into protesters outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility near Providence, Rhode Island. Charges also will not be filed against corrections officers who used pepper spray against the protesters.

On August 14, protesters from Never Again Action and AMOR Network formed a human chain outside Wyatt Detention Center, a private prison that the ACLU said is being used to house people arrested by ICE. Video posted to social media showed the truck stopping before starting up again, while protesters shouted "the whole world is watching!" and banged the truck. Then, former Captain Thomas Woodworth drove through the crowd while other corrections officers pepper sprayed the protesters.

Woodworth resigned, and Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha announced shortly after that his office and state police were investigating. Investigators focused not only on Woodworth, but also on the officers who used pepper spray.

MSDE to Enhance Instruction about Holocaust in Public Schools

Curricula Being Revised to Raise Awareness

BALTIMORE (October 23, 2019) – Maryland State Department of Education officials have announced that they intend to adopt a number of changes to enhance and expand required Holocaust instruction in the state’s public schools.

The planned changes include requiring Holocaust instruction within the state’s new 4th and 5th grade social studies framework, teaching about the roots of Antisemitism, and strengthening the required Holocaust instruction in both high school U.S. history and high school modern world history.

Dr. Karen B. Salmon, Superintendent of Schools, also pledged to work with the state’s 24 local school systems to ensure that professional learning opportunities are created so teachers have the tools necessary to teach the Holocaust with confidence.

“We strongly believe there is a need to enhance Holocaust education in our state, so that all children learn about this horrific event and ensure it never happens again,” Dr. Salmon said. “We see the changes that we are making as a substantive improvement over the current objectives and frameworks.”

Dr. Salmon announced the changes in response to concerns about Maryland’s Holocaust education requirements raised earlier this year by members of the General Assembly, the Baltimore Jewish Council, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington.

Texas judge rules that father retain joint custody in case of 'transgender' 7-year-old

A judge in the 255th District Family Court of Texas has ruled that a father should have a say in his son's medical treatments in the case of James Younger, a seven-year-old boy whose mother believes he is a transgender female named "Luna."

The custody battle over the 7-year-old twin boys drew national attention after a staunch disagreement between Jeffrey Younger, who believes his son is a happy boy, and his ex-wife, pediatrician Dr. Anne Georgulas, who believes James is a girl who should be infused with puberty-blocking drugs in the next few years. Video shows a three-year-old James explaining to his father that his mother had informed him that he was a little girl and not a little boy.

An initial custody arrangement proposed by Georgulas required that Younger affirm James' identity as "Luna" and that he not be allowed to expose either child to any people that would not use female pronouns and refer to the child by his female name. In response to his ex-wife's proposal, Younger requested a jury trial in a petition for sole custody of James and his brother Jude. On Monday, however, the jury ruled against him 11-1, suggesting that the boys should be under the sole custody of one person but that the person should not be Jeffrey Younger.

Trump announces ‘permanent’ cease-fire in Syria, lifts US sanctions on Turkey

President Trump on Wednesday announced he is removing sanctions against Turkey after Ankara made its five-day ceasefire “permanent” in its fight against Kurdish forces in Syria.

“I have, therefore, instructed the secretary of the treasury to lift all sanctions imposed Oct. 14 in response to Turkey’s original offensive moves against the Kurds,” Trump said.

“So the sanctions will be lifted unless something happens that we’re not happy with,” he added, noting that “permanent in that part of the world” can be defined as “questionable.”

'Child abuse': Texas officials investigating case of 7-year-old boy transitioning to girl in defiance of father's wishes

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said that two government departments are investigating after a jury returned a verdict against Jeffrey Younger, who was petitioning for full custody of his son, in part to avoid his ex-wife’s plan to infuse him with puberty-blocking hormones.

Abbott waded into the controversy surrounding Monday’s verdict, which gave Anne Georgulas sole custody of James and his twin brother, Jude. Georgulas, who has been telling her son he was a girl since he was 3, supports giving hormones that would block his adolescence. She also wants the court to mandate that the boy's father call James “Luna.”

“FYI the matter of 7 year old James Younger is being looked into by the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services,” Abbott said on Twitter Wednesday night.

Seattle Public Schools Teaching Kids That Math is Racist, Oppressive

If you believe that one plus one equals two – you might be a racist.

The Seattle School District announced plans to infuse math class with ethnic studies questions.

They are teaching the kids that math was appropriated by western culture and used in systems of power and oppression.

The school district says it’s all part of a movement to re-humanize math. The new lessons ask questions like “How important is it to be right?” and “Who gets to say if an answer is right?”

The district’s framework includes themes on resistance and liberation. They also want to illustrate how math and science have been used to oppress and marginalize people and communities of color.
