Red Net Alert!!!!! Happy Days Are Here Again!!!!!

At 12:00 noon today Mrs. Louise Smith filed for her candidacy for the Salisbury City Council race!

Ladies & Gentlemen, this is very exciting news! This is the answer to everyone's prayers. I dare "ANYONE" to knock this woman, especially The Daily Times.

I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel and I couldn't be more excited! Thank You So Much Louise and if there's anything we can do for you please don't hesitate to ask. YAHOO!

The Sign Above Says, "Caution, Energized Wires"

It sure makes me wonder if this is actually acceptable by code?

If You Thought Developers & Politicians Were Bad Here, Wait Till You Read This Story!

As I was relaxing yesterday reading the Sunday Edition of The Washington Post I couldn't help but catch the front page article titled, "Influence of Developers, Allies Runs Deep."

It's no wonder Mike Dunn & Barrie Tilghman are so interested in "anything" to do with development in the City of Salisbury.

On Saturday I confronted Gary Comegys and I said, Gary, one of the biggest questions I believe will be asked during this campaign is, tell me anything exciting that you see coming along over the next 3 to 4 years for the City of Salisbury, besides development?

He stood there for a second and said, oh yeah, it's a good question and I can think of several things right off the top of my head. I stood there and I stood there and I stood there and the next thing I knew, while Gary still had that "I'm thinking" look on his face, he walked away.

Development is the future and probably the only future for the City of Salisbury. There's no new Crown Sports Center for kids. There's no new skateboard park planned. There's already bike trails around the City, so adding new pathways isn't really that big a deal. Is there even a YMCA in the City of Salisbury?

Nevertheless, there's no shining light at the end of the tunnel for Salisbury's future and I have to say Folks, what happened these past 4 years? Everyone needs to look into what has been done and it has been the biggest developer friendly environment the Eastern Shore has ever seen.

Read this article and get a grip as to what you can expect to see from the Dream Team and your Mayor because if there's a way to screw the Citizens while they smile in your face, this Team will do just that. They are desperate for the tax dollar because they overspent on everything and they have nothing left, hence no roads being paved in the past 5 years.

Salisbury's Finest At Its Best!

As this homeless man became disorderly one Officer tried to subdue him when I arrived. He called in for backup and within seconds, (seriously) three other Police cars were flying around the corner to help one of their own.

Before I get bombarded with e-mail, no, they did not have to use ANY kind of force on this man. Once he realized how many cars were on their way, (we could hear the sirens) he knew he better keep his cool. However, before the sirens went off, (IMO) this guy would have fought back in a heart beat.

Trash Cans In The Alley Way Behind Charles Jannace's Office & Flavors Of Italy

Yeppers, the rats just keep getting bigger and bigger and Charles wonders why he gets the sh*ts whenever he eats at local restaurants. One of these cans is his! Dee, Dee, Deeee!

One Plaza East

MMMMMMMM, Jimmy's Grill!

Are you ready for this. Not only was Jimmy's Grill overflowing with trash once again, the guy popping out from behind the dumpster was there taking a leak! Pardon the pun but talk about a guy who was pissed I was taking a picture at the time!

Yeah, this is a place I want to frequent! Obviously the City Council NEVER resolved the situation with a bathroom in that area with all those busses. I promised my Wife I wouldn't say this any more but I'm so ticked off at this Council and Mayor I just have to do it, IDIOTS!

Please Only Use White Kitchen Trash Bags When Dumping On The Plaza

As you can clearly see from early Sunday morning, the trash cans were then overflowing and it was all trash picked up around the Plaza grounds and NOT from apartments. Yeah, get a grip!

They picked up the trash late on Friday and by Saturday morning these cans were 1/2 way full. There's a problem on the Downtown Plaza, so much so that Mike Dunn actually brought it up, (as their idea) two weeks ago at their last City Council Meeting.

I'll bet if I went down there right now there would be trash bags lying on the ground next to all the cans on the Plaza. Do any of you work down there and can confirm my being right and or even take a picture while I'm blogging?

It's A Year Later And Look What Progress Salisbury Has Made

Over on the West side of Town you can clearly see that things have only become worse than ever before. It's no wonder Salisbury looks like it does under the Comegys, Dunn, Tilghman & Shields backing. OK Gary, let's continue the progress!

"Drains To Chesapeake Bay Dump No Waste"

Yes Folks, this is right in the heart of Downtown Salisbury across the south side corner of the new Court House and not far from the Gillis Gilkerson project now under way.

Environmentalists should go ballistic over this one. Pictures can in fact be worth more than a thousand words!
