My Favorite Home In Hebron Is Up For Sale

I have had my eye on this property for years and I always told my wife, if it ever goes up for sale, we're buying it!

Well, I was driving by this past weekend and to my great surprise, there it was up for sale! Yahoo!

I came home and explained to her that is was finally up for sale and she said, don't be too surprised if they want a small fortune for it. Thinking she couldn't be right, I called the Realtor. My first question was, how much are they asking for it?

She replied, there's 214 acres of land, two homes on the property and a huge barn that goes with it with 9 doors. PERFECT! I said again, how much do they want for it? $5,250,000.00!!!!! YIKES!

Although it's a beautiful spread, it's a shame they're selling it to redevelop it. There goes Hebron Folks. When you drive into town, houses are for sale everywhere and they're even a ton of homes for sale via auction.

I sure am liking what I bought in Delmar more and more every day!

3 More Puppies Have Arrived

This evening we delivered three new puppies to our fine collection. All seem to be very healthy and nursing perfectly. Maybe they'll even be in the Westminister Show in a couple of years on their Birthdays?

Coastal Properties Management, Inc. Wants $30,000.00 More

Although Pam sat there and explained that this company had raised more money last year than the year before, even though gas prices went up, they're short some $30,000.00, (their exact management fee) they're asking the Taxpayers make up the difference.

IMO, these guys are in business and sometimes you have good years, some times you have bad years. However, you do NOT charge back so conveniently and not slap them on the wrist for making mistakes!

If "I" were on that council I'd simply say, too bad, too sad. If you're not qualified to be in this business, perhaps we should look for someone else to manage the property? NOPE, not Mike Dunn and Gary Comegys. Pay them for their losses. IDIOTS! The City IS a business and must be treated like one.

Stop allowing these people to bellyache over $30,000.00! If a business can't afford to lose $30,000.00 on one location, they can't afford to be in business. This is the reality of life in business Folks.

Then again, who could ever expect Mike Dunn to act like a man and do the right thing?

Who's Lap Did Mike Want Me To Sit On?

Unlike Mike Dunn, I do not sit when someone instructs me to do so and I refuse to sit on another man's lap. Now Mikey may get a thrill out of both of these fantasies himself but it ain't happening with me.

Open your eyes here Folks. There wasn't a seat to be had in the room anyway. Even as people were leaving, others in the hall were coming in and taking them up. Do note that there were probably a good dozen people standing in the hallway as there was no room to sit when Mikey decided it was time for me to sit like a dog.

Mikey, does your wife sit when you tell her to sit? Does she sit on someone else's lap when the room is full and you tell her to sit down? Maybe that's where Mikey gets it from? All I can tell you is, when I go to a party, "my" keys are still in "my" pocket. Get the picture Mike?

Is This What We Should Expect Of Downtown Salisbury?

Last night I had the opportunity to talk one on one with Chief See in reference to Station 16 Headquarters in Downtown Salisbury.

The Chief was VERY clear that they do NOT intend to keep that Station open. Once the new location is open they intend to vacate that location and it is up to the City to determine what they will do with it.

Let me make this very clear to everyone reading this. Mike Dunn was so afraid I was going to get up and make an announcement last night, he had me thrown out before I could do so. The reason he threw me out was because he knew I was going to make a formal offer of $250,000.00 CASH as the very first bid offer to purchase the Old Fire Station 16.

Now, my personal opinion is that this Station should be kept open and the last two photos should tell you why. I couldn't care less what Chief See, Barrie Tilghman, Mike Dunn or Gary Comegys says, the pictures are worth a thousand words. Downtown WILL become the result of what we have seen in West Salisbury. IF a building catches on fire, IF the Draw Bridge is up, it WILL delay their response and these old buildings will receive severe damage.

Barrie and ALL her FOB's see a GRAND opportunity to make West Salisbury the new FUTURE of Salisbury. Look at it Folks, Sassafras, Westwood, the new $10,000,000.00 Fire Station, new affordable housing projects, they're heading West and they know they can get these properties cheap!

They did it to North Salisbury, it only makes sense. The Mayor creates her CDC and starts taking away homes from the poor and their plan is to steal these properties as cheap as they can, move these people out of there and start rebuilding where there is no water and sewer. All the while, making it look like she's doing everyone a favor. Shanie is falling for it hook, line and sinker!

Me personally, I'm not stupid, Whenever the Mayor starts doing "anything," it doesn't take very long to figure her out. Shanie, you're always asking me if I called you an Idiot on the Blog. I have not done so as of yet but after you read this post and you continue down the path you have been on with Barrie & Co. I'm without a doubt going to call you an Idiot then because you're doing your constituents no justice whatsoever. Open your eyes Girl and see the light!

What You've Been Waiting For

Last night's City Council Meeting was very short lived for me personally. As the 47 News Cameraman moved from one end of the room to the other, I actually stayed stable in one location where other citizens actually stood next to me because it was a packed house.

Gary Comegys started lecturing the Public about financial situations for the City, including the TIF and one person stated, "this coming from a guy who declared bankruptcy himself!"
Mike Dunn heard what had been said and he looked at me and asked that I sit down. I kind of stood there for a second because here was 47 News all over the place, there weren't any real seats available, there were "other people" standing there with me he had not asked them to be seated, so I refused to sit down. Instead, I clearly stated, I'm here to take pictures Mike. 47 News is all over the room, so why are you telling me to sit down and not anyone else?
Mike stated he didn't believe I was "Media" and again instructed me to sit down in a seat. At that moment I refused to sit down as I am there to document the event through pictures and I kept thinking in the back of my head, he's not asking others to sit down, why should I?
Mike Dunn then motioned to Detective Tucker to come forward like a puppet and he said, "Eject Him Now." Keep in mind, Mike had stopped everything on PAC 14 and called for a 3 minute recess and after the Detective apologized to me and said, Joe, I'm going to have to ask you to leave.
As I was gathering my things I turned to everyone and said, is this how you expect the Council to act? I turned to Mike and stated, you'll hear from my attorneys. However, I've thought about that and you know what, it's a waste of time. Mike Dunn is a "has been" in a few more weeks, I'm going to let this one go. However, I did leave Mike a message on his car windshield last night reminding him that I do have proof he has lied to the Public. Yes Mike, that was my doing.
Oh, believe me, there's lots more where that came from too. See Ya at the next meeting Mikey! IMO, there needs to be a "Vote Of No Confidence" brought up against Mike Dunn. He is clearly not focused, he is not acting professional and he needs to step down as President of the City Council till his time is over.
Why do I smell the same thing coming for Stevie Prettyman? In her case it would be a vindictive move while in Mike Dunn's case it would be to save respect for the City Council!
It reminds me of a joke I heard one day where a guy walks up to another guy in a Bar and says, got any pictures of your wife naked? The other guy responds, NO! He then says, wanna buy one? LOL

Barrie Knows It's Over

Just look at this picture and see just how much power is within it. Old Council Members. Future Council Members. A former to be Mayor. Heck, this picture may even hold our next Mayor. All I know is, it's a powerful picture. Say Goodnight Gracie.

The End Is Near!!!!!

Don't ever say I didn't tell you so!

Yesterday I drove to Seaford on some business and I couldn't believe my eyes! A Super Lowe's was being constructed some 14 miles outside of Salisbury.

So let's see, tax free shopping for "every" business for the year saves you how much money? Look people, I'm NOT wishing anyone anything bad in Salisbury but the risks are extremely high that the State of Delaware is going to tear Salisbury a new one with their tax free shopping and you can't say I didn't tell you so.

Imagine the millions upon millions of dollars Lowe's is spending on this one project alone! It's worth their money to do so and you'll be seeing a second Lowe's shut down sooner than later in Salisbury. Next will be Home Depot and soon after that you'll be seeing a new Mall.

Barrie Tilghman, Gary Comegys and Mike Dunn want to give back all these developer reimbursements and these Idiots can't see the writing on the wall? I think they can and I think they're giving it all away before the hammer comes down and slams the City of Salisbury.

It's Going To Be A Cold One Today!

But not as cold as it is in the Netherlands. Welcome back COEIU
