Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Press Release

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging everyone to use caution during this upcoming winter weather event. With the rain early and the dropping temperatures roads will freeze. The impending snow on top of those conditions will make roads extremely slick. The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is recommending that those who do not have to go out to please stay in. Please keep the roads clear for the plows to do their job.

If you have to go out use extreme caution. Drive at a safe speed and take your time. Give yourself ample time to get to your destination. Make sure you have your headlights on so others may see you.

Be careful and stay safe. If you have an emergency call 911.
