Meet Obama-Appointed Judge Dolly M. Gee – The Woman Responsible for the One Million Illegals Storming the Border This Year

In March 103,000 illegal aliens flowed across the US southern border. It set a 12 year record for monthly crossings.

Over one million illegals are expected to flood into the United States this year.

Crossings by “families” hit a record high. More than 53,000 of the 103,000 were in family units.

America can thank Obama-appointed Judge Dolly M. Gee for this historic crisis at the southern border.

LINDSEY GRAHAM SLAPS DOWN MAZIE HIRONO AFTER SHE ACCUSES BARR OF LYING TO CONGRESS

Sparks flew at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday when the chairman of the panel accused Hawaii Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono of slandering Attorney General William Barr.

“You slandered this man from top to bottom,” South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham said to Hirono after the Democrat ended a minutes-long monologue in which she accused Barr of lying to Congress about the special counsel’s Russia report.

The fiery exchange began after Hirono asked Barr to comment on allegations that President Donald Trump threatened witnesses in the special counsel’s probe. After Barr asked Hirono for clarification, she interjected, saying: “Please, Mr. Attorney General, you know give us some credit for knowing what the hell is going on around here with you.”

That’s when Graham jumped in.

“Not really, to this line of questioning,” he said. “Listen, you’ve slandered this man.”

“I do not think that I’m slandering anyone,” Hirono said.

TRANSGENDER ATHLETE PROTESTS GENDER IDENTITY BAN AHEAD OF USA POWERLIFTING MEETING

A transgender powerlifter is speaking out against USA Powerlifting’s ban on transgender athletes, alleging it isn’t fair to ban an entire class of people from an elite sport.

JayCee Cooper, 31, is a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman. Cooper first competed as a female in September 2018. The athlete’s Twitter describes Cooper as a “Queer and Trans Fathlete, Powerlifter, DJ, and Librarian.”

After competing as a woman in numerous high level competitions, Cooper registered to compete in a USA Powerlifting event and was rejected. “It took me aback,” Cooper said, NBC News reported. “I didn’t want to put myself into a situation where I obviously wasn’t welcome.”

USA Powerlifting denied Cooper’s application in December, barring Cooper from competing against women in the sport because Cooper is biologically male, according to OutSports. “Male-to-female transgenders are not allowed to compete as females in our static strength sports as it is a direct competitive advantage,” USAPL Therapeutic Use Exemptions Committee Chair Kristopher Hunt told Cooper in an email explaining the rejection.

Would-Be Builder of Border Wall Ready to Do ‘Impossible’

The vice president of a family-owned construction company says his firm is competing for one of the nation’s most talked-about contracts because its leaders believe they can do what many say can’t be done.

“Two years ago, when the president said he wanted to build a wall [from] sea to sea … many people said, ‘It cannot be built, it won’t be built,’” Grant Fisher, vice president of Fisher Industries, told The Daily Signal in an interview.

But “build the impossible,” Fisher said, is “what we do.”

Fisher said his company’s $3.3 billion proposal to the Department of Homeland Security is to construct 218 miles of border fence, plus roads and related technology, by June 2020. The work would be in 11 sectors, ranging from 2 miles near Tucson, Arizona, to 46 miles near El Paso, Texas, according to the proposal.

The fence would use bollards, which are upright steel posts usually placed along roads and parking lots to block or control traffic.

Fisher said his family’s company, established in the ’60s, found a solution allowing construction of a mile of steel fence per day along the southern border.

“This system includes the physical barrier, but it also includes infrastructure for the [Border Patrol] agents,” Fisher said.

Biden’s Alleged Financial Ties To U.S. Enemy China Overshadow His 2020 Bid

China has brazenly threatened U.S. liberty, including our freedoms of commerce, navigation, and communication and the life and limbs of our servicemen and civilians. It has sought to chill speech on U.S. soil and influence our elections. It harbors expansionist ambitions that further imperil our liberties and those of our allies. In short, there is no greater challenge for American in the realm of national security and foreign affairs.

At a time in which the political-media establishment’s stated concern over foreign influence in the U.S. political system is paramount, we should be asking one question of every U.S. candidate and official: Where do you stand on China, and do you have any entanglements—economic or otherwise—with Beijing that create a conflict of interest or the appearance thereof?

This issue, largely missing from the public discourse, was raised at a recent meeting of China hawks in the financial community by a former President Trump confidante, perhaps telegraphing a critical campaign debate to come.

The ex-Trump advisor was alluding to “Clinton Cash” author Peter Schweizer’s reporting in his 2018 book, “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends.” In the book, Schweizer writes about the link between Biden’s role in U.S.-China policy, and a deal consummated by his son Hunter Biden’s investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners with the Chinese government.

Lindsey Graham to Pelosi: Apologize for Barr Comments

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., should apologize to Attorney General William Barr for calling him a liar, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Thursday.

Following Pelosi's comments in regard to Barr's testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham — who chairs the panel that questioned Barr about special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia report Wednesday — said she was wrong.

"I actually admire [Pelosi] as a person," Graham said. "I disagree with her publicly, but it's an offensive statement. I think she should apologize to the attorney general, or be specific as to how he lied."

USA Today posted a clip of Graham's comments.

Rep. Harris Applauds President Trump’s Announcement of Conscience Protection Rule

WASHINGTON, DC: On Thursday, May 2nd, President Trump announced a finalization of a rule on conscience protection in a statement during the National Day of Prayer. In his remarks, the president stated, “Just today, we finalized new protections of conscience rights for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, teachers, students, and faith-based charities. Together, we are building a culture that cherishes the dignity and worth of human life. Every child – born and unborn – is a sacred gift from God.”
Today, Health and Human Services (HHS) is enforcing its authority on previous conscience protection policies by implementing a rule titled, “Protecting Statutory Conscience Rights in Health Care; Delegations of Authority.” This rule enhances the authority of 25 pre-existing laws that protect the longstanding conscience rights of Americans in healthcare funded by HHS.
Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) introduced H.R. 2014, the Conscience Protection Act, on April 1, 2019, with 80 additional Members of Congress co-sponsoring the bill. The Conscience Protection Act would take the next step in protecting the rights of conscience for medical providers by guaranteeing a private right of action for individuals whose conscience rights have been violated and supporting Americans in having freedom of religion and conscience in healthcare.
Rep. Harris made the following statement supporting the president’s remarks:
“I support President Trump in his remarks today and in his efforts to protect the conscience of Americans who provide health care. Just last month, I led 80 Members of Congress in introducing the Conscience Protection Act, H.R. 2014, which amends the Public Health Service Act to prevent any federal, state, or local government from penalizing or discriminating against a health care provider if the provider does not participate in highly controversial abortion practices. As a physician and lawmaker, I support conscience protection because I strongly believe that health care providers should not be forced to violate their conscience when providing care for patients, and I applaud President Trump and his administration in their efforts to support conscience protection for all Americans.”

University Students Call Bernie Sanders a Hypocrite for Being a Millionaire

Students at the University of New Hampshire were quick to condemn Senator Bernie Sanders for his million dollar net worth.

In April, Senator Bernie Sanders announced that sales from his recent book made him a millionaire. Sanders’s net worth has been criticized as he has launched his 2020 campaign for the presidency.

Now, even college students are criticizing Sanders. Students at the University of New Hampshire spoke with Campus Reform about Senator Sanders’s wealth.

“You have a ton of extra money that you could be shoveling out, but you’re gonna take it away from people who might actually need it?” one student said.

“I think it is very hypocritical,” another student added.

Trump Admin Will Protect Rights of Doctors Who Decline to Perform Abortions

The Trump administration will safeguard the rights of doctors to decline performing procedures they find morally objectionable.

On Thursday, the Department of Health and Human Services adopted regulations to guarantee conscience protections for medical professionals. The rule, which will be implemented by the Office of Civil Rights will bar regulators from discriminating against the religious beliefs of doctors and nurses. OCR Director Roger Severino said the protections will prevent practitioners from being shut out of the profession for their beliefs.

"Laws prohibiting government funded discrimination against conscience and religious freedom will be enforced like every other civil rights law," Severino said in the announcement. "This rule ensures that healthcare entities and professionals won't be bullied out of the health care field because they decline to participate in actions that violate their conscience, including the taking of human life."

AG Barr confirms expanded Justice Department probe of Russia-Clinton links

Attorney General William P. Barr revealed Wednesday that the Justice Department is looking into the possibility that Russian operatives fed disinformation to the Hillary Clinton campaign during the 2016 presidential election season.

Mr. Barr told a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing about the expanded scope of a review into “the activities over the summer of 2016,” which included vehemently anti-Trump FBI senior officials making key decisions on the investigations of Mrs. Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump.

One key question is how much the FBI relied on the dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele, using information gleaned from Russian sources, which helped spur the Trump-Russia collusion narrative. The dossier was funded by payments from the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee that were hidden in campaign finance reports via payments to a law firm.

A Bloated Auto Sector Begins to Implode, Risking Contagion

In what is being taken as another sign of an incoming recession, auto sales across the board are down—and down significantly.

Often used as a strong indicator of a healthy consumer economy, auto sales provide an early warning signal for economists and businesses hoping to forecast our unpredictable economic future.

U.S. auto sales crashed by 6.1% throughout the month of April 2019, to 16.4 million units sold.

This is the biggest drop since May 2011 and the lowest amount of sales throughout a month in over five years.

A similar story is unfolding all across the globe, pointing to a much wider problem within the industry.

However, I believe that there is more to this story than first meets the eye.

Jeb Bush Uses Democrat Talking Point: ‘Not Sure’ Sanctuary Cities for Illegals Are a ‘Problem’ in Florida

Former Florida governor and failed presidential candidate Jeb Bush (R) is questioning why Florida’s current governor, Ron DeSantis (R), is pushing to ban sanctuary cities that protect criminal illegal aliens in the state.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, DeSantis has led an initiative in Florida to ban sanctuary city jurisdictions across the state. The plan, which has already passed the state Senate, would fine a locality or county $5,000 every day that it enforces a sanctuary policy.

Bush used the same rhetoric that elected Democrats have used against the sanctuary city ban, claiming DeSantis is only trying to score political points and that jurisdictions shielding illegal aliens from deportation are not a problem in Florida.

'Barr Did Nothing Wrong': WSJ Exposes Dems' Hypocrisy After Shameful 'Washington Pile-On'

Joe Biden became the latest presidential contender to demand that AG Barr resign following a 5-hour-plus hearing on Wednesday where Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee howled, mostly without evidence, that Barr was improperly trying to cover for President Trump, that he had deliberately watered down Mueller's findings and that he was, in effect, acting as a mole within the DOJ feeding information on the 14 ongoing investigations to the White House.

Given his treatment at the hands of the Senate, it's hardly a surprise that Barr declined to appear before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday, which is stocked with even more bloodthirsty Democrats who will all need to defend their seats in 18 months time. And while Democrats will inevitably portray this as Barr shirking responsibility, as WSJ points out in an editorial published in Thursday's paper, Barr's treatment at the hands of the Judiciary's Democrats was nothing short of reprehensible - and the coordinated 'leak' of the Mueller letter on the eve of the hearing was a blatant attempt to discredit an Attorney General who had done nothing wrong.

As WSJ explains, Mueller's complaint that Barr's summary of the 448-page report's findings "lacked context" was likely an exercise in ass-covering. How could Barr be expected to distill the full sweep and scope of such a lengthy report's findings in just four pages. In the same letter, Mueller affirmed that Barr's summary was accurate - and, more tellingly, that he had been moved to write the letter following "public confusion" about his findings (i.e. Republicans' trumpeting of 'no collusion, no obstruction', which probably angered Mueller's many fanboys and fangirls in the #resistance).

Activists Pressure Mastercard Stockholders to Censor ‘Far Right’

Left-wing activists have forced Mastercard to hold a shareholder vote on the creation of a “human rights committee” that would monitor payments to the “far right,” with a view to cut off disfavored individuals and political groups from receiving money from supporters.

BuzzFeed reports that the proposed Mastercard human rights committee would “stop designated white supremacist groups and anti-Islam activists, such as Tommy Robinson, from getting access to money sent from donors using the company’s card payment services.”

The Board of Mastercard has opposed the proposal, urging stockholders to vote against it.

The proposal was submitted for a vote at Mastercard’s upcoming meeting of stockholders on June 25, 2019. The proposal was submitted by left-wing advocacy organization ThisIsUs, whose board members are linked to Color of Change, a group that has been pressuring banks, payment processors, and credit card companies to cut off service to right-wingers, Islam critics, and critics of progressivism.

NYT Confirms Hunter Biden Was Paid by Ukrainians While Father Was VP

Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was paid for his work as a board member a Ukrainian oligarch-owned energy company while his father was vice president, the New York Times confirms.

According to the Times, Hunter Biden was paid “as much as $50,000 per month in some months” as a board member of Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm owned by a member of the Ukrainian oligarchy.

Vice President Biden was heavily involved in mediating U.S. policy towards the Ukraine. When a Ukrainian prosecutor launched a corruption investigation into the energy company Hunter Biden was board member of, Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees to the country if the Ukrainian government did not fire the prosecutor. As John Solomon of The Hill reported, Biden’s threat would have thrown the former Soviet republic into insolvency at a time when Ukraine was fending off threats from Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

In a speech last year before the Council on Foreign Relations, the former vice president bragged about his successful use of these strong-arm tactics to get the prosecutor fired, saying that he told the Ukrainians, “If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.”

Biden then boasted, “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.”

Community partners recognized at annual Wicomico County Tourism reception

SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County’s tourism division recognized its strongest partners during a reception and awards ceremony Thursday, May 2, at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.

Held annually since 2000, the reception recognizes community members and businesses who have dedicated themselves to supporting tourism initiatives in Wicomico County. The event took place during a Business After Hours in partnership with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce.

In Fiscal Year 2019, Wicomico County’s tourism division sold or held 50 events, eight of which were of regional or national caliber. These events generated over 40,000 hotel room nights, more than 140,000 visitors and an estimated economic impact of $64.8 million.

The tourism division has the goal of reaching a $72 million economic impact by 2020, said Tourism Manager Kristen Goller.

“Our tourism team is working hard to not only retain the events we do have, but to continue to do more – bring more events, bring more people and bring more outside dollars into our market,” Goller said. “This goal is not possible without one key ingredient – community support.”

Tourism’s community partners help the county recruit new events, retain and grow current events and welcome event attendees into the community.

The Lower Eastern Shore Heritage Council was honored as the Tourism Partner of the Year for their work to preserve, protect and promote the heritage of Wicomico County.

The Tourism Hospitality award went to We Build You Play, a grassroots sports program for children on the East Coast. The group uses Wicomico County for three of its events, bringing in nearly 5,000 volleyball players and an economic impact of $5 million dollars.

Parkside Athletics earned the Tourism Volunteer award for their work at the Mid Atlantic Wrestling Association’s annual tournaments and BeachFest Volleyball events.

Comcast Spotlight was recognized as the Business of the Year for their longtime support of the county’s tourism efforts, and their recent contribution to the National Folk Festival.

The Betty K. Gardner Tourism Person of the Year award was presented to Kathleen McLain for her service on tourism’s advisory board, where her passion and level head helped guide many within tourism’s leadership for over a decade.

Seizing El Chapo’s Assets Would Build the Wall, Make the Cartels Pay for It

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview Wednesday that he would back President Donald Trump’s potential designation of the Mexican cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and that seizing cartel leader El Chapo’s assets would build the wall and make the cartels pay for it.

President Trump told Breitbart News in March that his administration continues to think “very seriously” about labeling violent Mexican drug cartels, or factions of those cartels, Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs).

“We are. We are,” Trump said. “We’re thinking about doing it very seriously. In fact, we’ve been thinking about it for a long time.”

“It’s psychological, but it’s also economic,” Trump continued. “As terrorists — as terrorist organizations, the answer is yes. They are.”

FBI Used 'Attractive' Female Agent To Try To Get Info Out Of Trump Aide

After two years, over 2,800 subpoenas, and nearly 500 search warrants and witness interviews, Special Counsel Robert Mueller "did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election." While the "Trump-Russia collusion" conspiracy theory that has largely driven the mainstream news cycle for two years is dead, the story behind the investigation is getting juicier by the day.

More details about how U.S. intelligence attempted to infiltrate, or "spy" on, the Trump campaign have come to light, including that the FBI used an "attractive" female undercover investigator in an ultimately fruitless attempt to draw out some relevant "collusion"-related information from Trump aide George Papadopoulos.

"The conversation at a London bar in September 2016 took a strange turn when the woman sitting across from George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign adviser, asked a direct question: Was the Trump campaign working with Russia?" The New York Times reported Thursday.

"The woman had set up the meeting to discuss foreign policy issues. But she was actually a government investigator posing as a research assistant, according to people familiar with the operation. The F.B.I. sent her to London as part of the counterintelligence inquiry opened that summer to better understand the Trump campaign’s links to Russia."

The employment cost index, a measure of wages and benefits paid by businesses, for manufacturing workers rose by 0.9 percent in the first quarter, Labor Department data released Tuesday showed. The salary and wage component rose even more–by a full percentage point.

The last time manufacturing saw quarterly wage gains that high was in 2008, when wages also rose 1.0 percent in the January through March period.

Compared with a year ago, manufacturing wages were up 2.9 percent in March. That’s the biggest 12-month gain since March of 2003, when wages rose 3.2 percent.

OC Ordinance Would Ban Dockless Bike Share Operations

OCEAN CITY — The first formal step toward prohibiting dockless bicycle share programs and electric scooters took place this week.

The Mayor and Council had before them Tuesday a proposed ordinance that would ban dockless bicycle share programs and stand-up electric scooter share programs, which have become increasingly popular in metropolitan areas in recent years. In simplest terms, private businesses often flood metropolitan areas with hundreds of bicycles or electric scooters, also known as e-scooters, which can be rented by consumers using a smartphone app.

Using the app, an individual can grab one of the bicycles or e-scooters, ride it to their destination and simply leave it where they no longer need it. Others can then pick up the same bikes or scooters and use their app to take them where they want to go. The private companies then round them all back up and drop them off at locations where there is the highest demand. During a meeting last month, the police Commission voiced concern about the growing phenomenon coming to Ocean City. Among the issues raised was the possibility of potentially hundreds of bicycles and e-scooters cluttering the streets of the resort where consumers just left them when they were finished riding them. As a result, the police commission sought the advice of City Solicitor Guy Ayres on how to ban the share programs. During Tuesday’s work session, the council was presented with a draft ordinance prepared by Ayres that would prohibit the proliferation of bicycle and e-scooter sharing programs in Ocean City.

ICE to start voluntary DNA testing at southern border and privacy advocates are up in arms

Washington -- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will begin voluntary DNA testing in cases where officials suspect that adults are fraudulently claiming to be parents of children as they cross the U.S.-Mexico border.

The decision comes as Homeland Security officials are increasingly concerned about instances of child trafficking as a growing number of Central American families cross the border, straining resources to the breaking point. Border authorities also recently started to increase the biometric data they take from children 13 and younger, including fingerprints, despite privacy concerns and government policy that restricts what can be collected.

Officials with the Department of Homeland Security said the DNA pilot program would be very limited. They told CBS News it would begin next week at the southern border.

Cohen called Barr “#ChickenBarr” in a tweet on Wednesday night, as Democrats have continued to call for his resignation after testifying for five hours before the Senate Wednesday.

Barr said he will no longer testify in front of the committee on Thursday, as Democrats voted to allow staffers to question Barr. He wanted the traditional five-minute rounds of lawmakers asking him questions instead of House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler’s proposal of allowing committee staffers to question Barr about their concerns.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives voted to not consider House Resolution 304, a resolution that would force House Democrats to hold convicted liar Michael Cohen accountable for his lies to the Committee. The resolution would require Chairman Elijah Cummings to transmit an official transcript of Cohen’s testimony to the Justice Department for potential prosecution. Ranking Member Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) released the following statement after the vote:

“We’re disappointed that today the House of Representatives refused to take the simple step of submitting Michael Cohen’s testimony to the Department of Justice so that they can evaluate whether he committed perjury. When Chairman Cummings orchestrated Cohen’s appearance before our Committee, he promised accountability. The Chairman’s vote sadly confirms that the Democrats are more interested in coordinated attacks on President Trump than in pursuing the truth or defending our institution against those who diminish it with lies to serve their own ends.”
