Former 49ers LB Plummer estimates he sustained 2,500 concussions

The turning point for Gary Plummer came after his former teammate and friend, Junior Seau, committed suicide in 2012.

Seau’s family was later informed the Hall of Famer’s brain showed abnormalities associated with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). Seau’s death sent shockwaves through the NFL, and it had a chilling effect on Plummer.

“I knew I was having some issues, but like a typical NFL guy, you think you’re still invincible,” Plummer said on The 49ers Insider Podcast.

“After Junior, my wife said, ‘Dude, you got to do something; I don’t want you to be the next Junior Seau.’ ”

Study: As Nations Grow More Equal, STEM Gender Gap Widens

Analysis helps explain persistent male/female gap in hard sciences

The much-discussed gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) can be explained in part by differences in individual students' comparative academic strengths, a gap which only grows as societies become more gender egalitarian, a recently released study shows.

The gender gap in STEM is a persistent quandary for policy makers. Recent data from the Economic and Statistics Administration found that women made up more than half of college-educated workers but only 25 percent of college-educated STEM workers, and that while nearly as many women hold undergraduate degrees as men, women make up only 30 percent of STEM degree holders and are a disproportionately low share of degree holders across all STEM fields.

"Despite considerable efforts toward understanding and changing this pattern, the sex difference in STEM engagement has remained stable for decades," the study's authors write. "The stability of these differences and the failure of current approaches to change them calls for a new perspective on the issue."

Grandma Foils Potential Mass Murder at Washington High School

New national gun policies like Fix NICS might have their place (some would say, “buried in the backyard”), but local community intervention via a concerned citizen (or armed concealed carrier) will always be the best way to stop the next school shooting.

Case in point, WFMY News2 reported yesterday that a possible mass murder had been foiled at a Washington State high school by the would-be shooter’s grandmother. The woman, Cathi O’Connor, called the authorities after reading troubling statement’s in her grandson’s journal.

Court documents state the young man, recently identified as 18-year-old Joshua O’Connor, wrote, “I can’t wait to walk into class and blow all those (expletives) away,” and “I need to make this shooting/bombing infamous. I need to get the biggest fatality number I possible can.”

The journal also stated, “I am learning from past shooters/bombers mistakes so I don’t make the same ones.”

O’Connor owned an AK-pattern rifle, which he had stored in a guitar case. Prosecutors have also alleged that the teen possessed inert grenades that he planned to fill with black powder.

California City Tells Revolutionary War Reenactors: No Guns Allowed, Use Sticks Instead

City officials in Elk Grove, California put their foot down when a nonprofit wanted to reenact the Battles of Lexington and Concord at a local park.

The problem was that the nonprofit, the Elk Grove Historical Society, wanted to bring muskets to the event. You know, the appropriate arms of the era. The very tools used to win our independence from Great Britan.

Officials pointed to a park ordinance that makes it illegal to “Use, maintain, possess, fire, or discharge any firearm”

Now, one would think that common sense would prevail in this case. City leaders would say, we can make an exception here because those muskets won’t be loaded with anything but black powder. Plus, the reenactment isn’t just a bunch of guys playing dress up, it also serves as an educational opportunity for children. A way to teach them about our nation’s history. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.

Are Your Schools Safer Today?

Dear School Administrators: Are Your Schools Safer Today?

Having spent about eighteen years in school buildings as a student and twenty-nine years in school buildings as an unarmed teacher, fifteen of them post-Columbine, I think I have a right to voice an opinion on this matter. I’m pretty proficient with firearms, yet I faced each day of teaching knowing that I could easily be shot down right along with my students!

So, school administrators, board members, parents, and anybody else responsible for the kids in your community, is your school safer this week? If it is, great work. Thanks for getting at this important task. If not, WHY not! Are you not angry enough yet? I am angry, and I don’t blame students around the country for being angry. Why would they NOT be angry; they are at risk, and nobody seems interested in actually fixing the problem. And I can’t blame an immature sixteen-year-old for placing all the blame on guns; there are plenty of adults who can’t get past that false notion themselves.

I want to know – are you one of the many school administrators just sitting around this week philosophizing and pontificating over coffee about gun control fantasies and improvements needed in the mental healthcare system? Meanwhile, hundreds of unprotected, innocent young people are streaming into your buildings every morning. Since you’ve probably devoted much of your life to obtaining multiple degrees, you are likely well prepared to be a very confident and polished speaker when the national news stations stick their microphones in your face. But if tragedy strikes YOUR school system next week, next month, next year, tomorrow, are you prepared to sacrifice the lives of your students, all the while knowing that there were some pretty effective preventative measures that could have been taken.

University of Wisconsin School Ends Tutoring Policy Biased Against White Students

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has announced the cancellation of a discriminatory tutoring program that only asked white students to pay.

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has terminated a tutoring program that only charged white students. “U.S. minorities” were offered the service for free, regardless of their income level. Both low-income white students and veterans were also offered the tutoring service for free.

Under the policy, white students would be forced to pay for the service, while wealthy minority students would not. Campus Reform reported that the policy seemed to be in direct contradiction with the University of Wisconsin’s non-discrimination policy, which states that no student will be discriminated against on the basis of their race.

High School Students Lobby Legislators for Saran-Wrap Sex Ed Bill

BOSTON — The lead House sponsors of a bill requiring that sexual health education be “medically accurate, age-appropriate” pumped up high school students lobbying for the bill Thursday but acknowledged the bill’s prospects in the House this session are uncertain.

State Representatives James O’Day and Paul Brodeur, both chairmen in Speaker Robert DeLeo’s House, rallied with about 80 students participating in a Planned Parenthood lobby day at the Massachusetts State House. Brodeur, who was first elected in 2010, told the students the bill had “been around longer than I’ve been in the Legislature,” and O’Day emphatically said, “we absolutely have to get this bill passed this session.”

Former Officials Give Conflicting Accounts of Kerry State Dept's Handling of Trump Hoax Dossier

TEL AVIV – Seeming discrepancies between the claims of two former officials in John Kerry’s State Department about actions taken involving the infamous, 35-page largely discredited anti-Trump dossier raise immediate questions about the State Department’s possible role in the sordid affair.

The dossier, which contains wild and unproven claims about Trump’s campaign and Russia, was authored by ex-British spy Christopher Steele on behalf of the controversial Fusion GPS firm and was paid for by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

The dossier was reportedly utilized by the FBI to launch its probe into Trump. According to House Republicans, the questionable document was used by Obama administration officials to obtain a FISA warrant to conduct surveillance on Carter Page, who briefly served as a volunteer foreign policy adviser to Trump’s campaign. The political origins of the dossier and issues relating to Steele’s credibility as a source were kept from the FISA court, a House Intelligence Committee memo documents.

BOMBSHELL: Comey Held Secret Obama White House Meeting Before The Inauguration

FBI Director James Comey held a secret Oval Office meeting with President Barack Obama two weeks before Trump’s inauguration and may have deliberately misled Congress about it, according to an email sent by National Security Advisor Susan Rice that GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham partially unclassified.

The meeting — which Comey never previously disclosed to Congress — occurred in the White House on Jan. 5, 2017. It included Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Rice deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and Comey. The topic of the meeting was potential Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

By failing to inform the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence about the meeting in his June 8, 2017, testimony, Comey may have deliberately and intentionally misled Congress about his interactions with the former president, especially a meeting so close to Trump entering the White House.

“President Obama had a brief follow-on conversation with FBI Director Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office,” Rice wrote in an email written the day before the inauguration.

House Republicans launch 'Phase 2' of Trump dossier probe

House Intelligence Committee Republicans have launched “Phase 2” of their probe into the origins of the unverified anti-Trump dossier, firing off an inquiry to a host of current and former officials -- including former FBI Director James Comey.

In a letter obtained by Fox News, committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., posed a string of dossier-related questions to current and former intelligence, law enforcement and State Department officials. He specifically wants to know when they learned the document was funded by Democratic sources, and how it was used to obtain one or more surveillance warrants at the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

In the Feb. 20-dated letter, Nunes even threatened to issue subpoenas.

"If you do not provide timely answers on a voluntary basis, the Committee will initiate compulsory process,” he wrote.

Sheriff Clarke Alleges Student Gun Control Effort Has "Soros' Fingerprints All Over It"

George Soros' fingerprints are "all over" the push to demand gun control in response to last week's Parkland, FL high school shooting, claimed former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke Jr.

Clarke made the startling allegation in a Tuesday tweet, saying "The well ORGANIZED effort by Florida school students demanding gun control has GEORGE SOROS' FINGERPRINTS all over it." Adding "It is similar to how he hijacked and exploited black people's emotion regarding police use of force incidents into the COP HATING Black Lives Matter movement."

Clarke, a vocal Trump supporter who resigned as sheriff last year amid speculation he would join the Trump administration, is a senior advisor and spokesman for the pro-Trump America First Action PAC; he fired off the tweet in advance of a planned appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) later this week.

Several conspiracy theories have emerged in the wake of the Valentine's day shooting, which left seventeen people dead when a gunman opened fire on students in the early afternoon. A clip which was promptly featured on YouTube earlier, claimed that various students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are "crisis actors" who are being used as political cudgels in efforts to repeal the Second Amendment.

An aide to Florida State Rep. Shawn Harrison (R) was fired Tuesday after emailing a reporter to suggest that student David Hogg and others are crisis actors. "Both kids in the picture are not students here but actors that travel to various crisis when they happen," wrote now-fired aide Benjamin Kelly - drawing condemnation from the likes of Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) and Harrison.

200 Murders by MS-13 in 22 States since 2012, Claims Report

A new report from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reveals that the hyper-violent MS-13 transnational criminal gang has spread to 22 U.S. states. The gang accounted for 207 murders, mostly in California, Maryland, New York, and Virginia since 2012. The rapid growth is attributed in the report to the influx of Unaccompanied Alien Children from Central American countries like El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.

CIS Director of Policy Studies Jessica Vaughan researched MS-13 gang activity over the past six years and found the arrests of 506 MS-13 members who were charged with crimes in 22 states. Of those, 207 were murders and more than 100 cases were racketeering, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, attempted murder, sexual assaults, and extortion.

PIERS MORGAN: FBI is the Federal Bureau of Incompetence

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s official website couldn’t be any clearer about the purpose of the organisation.

‘The mission of the FBI,’ it reads, ‘is to protect the American people.’

As for the role of its much-vaunted Special Agents, the FBI defines their job as: ‘Staying ahead of the threat through leadership, agility and collaboration.’

Hmmm.

Where do those two bold statements of intent sit today, I wonder?

It’s hard to imagine there has even been a worse week for the FBI in its 109-year history.

First, they were forced to admit they spectacularly dropped the ball on the Florida mass shooter.

Anti-Christian Group Declares War on Religious Freedom in America

Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AUSCS) has chosen Rachel K. Laser, an abortion-rights and LGBT-rights activist, as its new executive director in an ongoing battle against conservative Christianity.

Prior to coming to AUSCS, Laser worked for Planned Parenthood as well as leading the Pharmacy Refusal Project at the National Women’s Law Center, an initiative opposing the rights of pharmacists to refuse to fill certain prescriptions on grounds of religious or moral objections. Laser was also deputy director of advocacy for Reform Judaism and is the first Jewish director of AUSCS.

Laser, whose role model is Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, will focus her war especially on Christians as she endeavors to redefine freedom of religion as “a diverse, vibrant country, and not a monolithic, culturally favored religion in this country.” Although initially AUSCS was founded in opposition to Catholics, it developed over the years into a thoroughly anti-Christian organization, defending atheists and religious minorities against America’s traditionally Christian culture.

Billy Graham’s Final Social Media Post: ‘Wandering Away from Him Catches Up with Us’

The legendary evangelist Rev. Billy Graham, who passed away at the age of 99 Wednesday, had some inspiring words of wisdom on what happens to those who wander away from God.

Graham wrote in his social media post that there are consequences “when we decide to leave God out of our lives,” even though there are times when it seems like it may not make any difference:

""If you went for a walk in the woods, but then decided to wander off the path, and found yourself surrounded by a thicket of thorns and poison ivy, who would you blame? Would you blame the person who built the path? No, of course not. Instead you’d blame yourself if you were honest, because you alone were responsible for wandering from the path.

In a far deeper way, this is what happens when we decide to leave God out of our lives. For a time, it may seem like wandering away from Him doesn’t make any difference; it may even seem easier and freer. But eventually it catches up with us—just as wandering off that path and into the thicket caught up with you." —Billy Graham #BG100

Washington Post: Everytown's Claim of 18 School Shootings This Year Is 'Wrong'

On February 15, the Washington Post responded to widespread reports of “18 school shootings in 2018” and declared the claim is “horrifying” but “it is wrong.”

The Post went on to demonstrate that the figure of “18” arises from a Michael Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety tally that includes a suicide by a 31-year-old man who parked in a school parking lot to kill himself.

Everytown also included a “1 a.m. [incident in which] a man was shot at a sorority event on the campus of Wake Forest University,” an occasion on which someone shot several rounds in the air outside a Michigan high school basketball game. No one was in class at the time — the incident occurred at 8 p.m. — and no one was injured, but Everytown counted it anyway.

Our hearts are with all those impacted by the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida today.

Fake News: Lie About Florida Shooter Being Member of "White Supremacist" Group Not Retracted

Having breathlessly reported that Florida gunman Nikolas Cruz was a member of a white supremacist group, media outlets across the world failed to issue retractions when it emerged that this story was completely fake news.

The farce began when the Anti-Defamation League and Associated Press reported that a representative of the Republic of Florida Militia, a group that believes in a “white ethnostate,” told them that Cruz was a member of the organization.

However, it quickly emerged that the story had begun as a prank on the notorious 4chan messaging board after members had convinced another individual, Jordan Jereb, to falsely tell the media that Cruz was an “affiliate” of the white supremacist group.

This was then picked up by the ADL and the Associated Press and reported as fact. In reality, Cruz was never a member of the group, which is based in Tallahassee, about 430 miles away from where the shooting took place.

Pedophile Who Raped 3-Month-Old Baby Found Dead With Penis Sawn Off

A convicted pedophile described as “evil beyond rational understanding” by a judge has been found dead in his prison cell with his penis sawn off.

James King, 31, who changed his name from Robin Hollyson, was jailed for 24 years for raping a three-month-old baby and filming it. He was part of a sick gang operating in Bristol, England, that took delight in drugging and raping babies.

While handing down King’s 24 year sentence, the judge said, “In the worst nightmare, from the very deepest recesses of the mind, at the darkest hour of the night, few can have imagined the terrifying depravity which you men admit.”

But King did not get to see out many of those 24 years in prison. A fellow prisoner, John Denham, confirmed to the inquest that after inmates at HMP Bristol learned about the nature of King’s crimes, contracts had been taken out on his life.

The FBI Keeps Missing Mass Shooters Before It's Too Late

Revelations that the FBI had been warned about Florida high school shooter Nikolas Cruz fit an all-too-familiar pattern, in which apparent law enforcement errors have preceded mass murders.

The FBI was warned about Cruz after he posted on YouTube saying he was going to become a “professional school shooter.” The agency said they couldn’t identify the user who made the threat, despite Cruz posting under his own name. Five months later, Cruz pulled the fire alarm at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and began shooting his former classmates with his AR-15.

Other mass shooters and terrorists were similarly on the FBI’s radar — or should have been — before they carried out their deadly attacks.

Dylann Roof, who in 2015 shot nine people at a black church in Charleston, was allowed to purchase his weapon in part because of errors by FBI agents during the background check process, the agency said.

Rep. Thomas Massie: Repeal Federal Restrictions, Let Teachers Carry for Self-Defense

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is urging his Congressional colleagues to repeal federal restrictions so teachers can carry guns for defense of themselves and their students.

His efforts revolve around a repeal of the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990. He introduced that repeal on January 3, 2017, then renewed the push on Twitter two days after Nikolas Cruz made his way onto the campus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, shooting at defenseless victims in a gun-free zone.

Massie tweeted:

It’s time to repeal the “Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990.” Let teachers carry to protect kids & themselves. Support H.R. 34 “Safe Students Act.”https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/34/text?r=1

Rep. Massie spoke with Breitbart News on February 16, saying, “Gun-free zones are invitations to deranged criminals. Why on earth would we have a federal law to advertise our schools as such? The 1990 law has done absolutely nothing to improve school safety, and should be repealed because it makes schools less safe.”

A Viewer Writes: The President's plan to rebuild rural America

Joe,

The White House just announced some new ideas to help rebuild rural America. One of which is for infrastructure - which would include internet broadband.

Whatever happened to the local company - that was funded by Federal, State and local funds - that was supposed to improve our internet connections.

Every damn day, around 3:00 - just when kids are getting out of school - the internet speeds around Salisbury grind to a screeching halt! What gives??? I get better speeds on my cell phone when I travel to metro areas better than I do with my home and office PC in the afternoon. It's a scam!

The plan to rebuild rural America
“Throughout American history, we have been recognized as a global leader in many areas, but we are in distinct danger of squandering advantages we hold over other countries when it comes to our infrastructure system,” Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue writes this week in the pages of theDes Moines Register.
Secretary Perdue is right—and he wisely points out that President Donald J. Trump’s infrastructure plan would steer the Nation back toward prosperity, “particularly in rural America.”
Here is how:
  • President Trump’s plan allocates $50 billion, a quarter of all Federal funds in the plan, to empower rural America to address the infrastructure needs of its communities.
  • The plan will give states the flexibilityto address the unique needs of their rural residents without a flurry of bureaucratic commands from Washington.
  • The Rural Infrastructure Programwill build upon efforts the Administration has already undertaken to expand broadband access in rural America.
“We have to make sure American farmers and their families, wherever they may be, wherever they may go, have the infrastructure projects that they need to compete and grow,” President Trump said.

How will Democrats handle their blue-collar blues?

Politico reports that Democrats aren’t keen on having Bill Clinton help out in this year’s campaigns, what with #MeToo consciousness so high. Too bad that leaves them without any major figure to appeal to working-class voters.

Party figures tried to be diplomatic about it. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) told Politicothat the ex-president “just brings up a lot of issues that will be very tough for Democrats” and their messaging.

Clinton’s past is just too vivid a reminder that sexual abuse is a bipartisan problem, ifHarvey Weinstein & Co. weren’t enough.

Former President Barack Obama can’t help much: He’s popular with the base, not with swing voters; his policies prompted thousands of counties to switch from Democratic in 2008 to Republican in 2016.

Yet Democrats suddenly aren’t polling too well: just a point or two ahead of Republicans on the “generic congressional ballot.”

US Bank Halts NRA Credit Card, Car Rental Firm Ends Discount

The nation's largest privately-owned bank holding company and a major car rental chain said Thursday they will stop promotions aimed at National Rifle Association members.

The Nebraska-based First National Bank of Omaha will not renew its contract to issue the group's NRA Visa Card, spokesman Kevin Langin said in a statement.

"Customer feedback has caused us to review our relationship with the NRA," Langin said.

Langin declined to say when the contract would expire and would not elaborate on what sort of feedback the company had received.

Separately, car rental company Enterprise said its three brands would end a discount program for NRA members.

The announcements came after the progressive news website ThinkProgress listed them as companies that support the NRA.

Breaking News: President Trump announced new shipping sanctions against North Korea. U.S. pressure isn't letting up, despite a recent thaw between the Koreas.

President Trump is set to announce harsh new shipping sanctions against North Korea on Friday — a clear signal, coming near the end of an Olympic Games marked by a rapprochement on the Korean Peninsula, that his pressure campaign against Pyongyang would not relent.

“Today, I am announcing that we are launching the largest-ever set of new sanctions on the North Korean regime,” Mr. Trump was scheduled to say, according to an advance copy of remarks he will deliver later Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

DHS to Publish Proof of Massive Dem Voter Fraud in 2016

Reported: several million illegals voted, while legitimate ballots were thrown away

WASHINGTON, D.C. –
The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) together with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the FBI are planning to publish in March a study of the 2016 elections that will demonstrate massive Democratic Party voter fraud of a magnitude sufficient to have influenced election outcomes.

On Jan. 3, 2018, President Trump signed an executive order disbanding the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, largely because states controlled by the Democrats refused to cooperate.

Many Democrats breathed a sigh of relief, thinking President Trump had given up his effort to uncover and correct the decades of Democratic Party voter fraud.

Peter Schweizer: Robert Mueller's FBI 'Completely Ignored' Russian Corruption in 2010 Uranium One Deal

The FBI apparently ignored evidence of Russian involvement in the uranium market “when they approved the deal back in 2010,” said Peter Schweizer of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States’s (CFI) 2010 approval of the Russian government’s purchasing of a majority stake in Uranium One.

Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute, offered his remarks in a Monday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with co-hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.

Robert Mueller — director of the FBI between 2001 and 2013 — must have known of corrupt dealings related to the Uranium One deal in 2010, said Schweizer.

“It’s been long known by the FBI that the Russian involvement in the uranium market was highly suspect, that their efforts were nefarious, and that there was a lot of corruption involved with these programs,” said Mueller:

There was a megatons program that was designed to, in a sense, help the Russian nuclear industry transition from sort of military-based work to civilian work — a lot of detailed corruption that the FBI tracked in the 1990s and 2000s, so going up to the 2010 approval for Uranium One, it’s really impossible for senior FBI officials, including the director at the time — Mueller — to argue that they are just completely shocked that Uranium One and these kickbacks were taking place. It was widely known.

Shooting Survivor: CNN Gave Me "Scripted Question" After Denying Question About Armed Guards

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Colton Haab said he was approached by CNN to ask a question at Wednesday night's town hall but decided not to after the network gave him a "scripted question," quashing one he wrote himself. Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC shielded students while the school was under attack from the shooter, said he was going to ask about using veterans as armed security guards. (CNN response below.)

"CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted," Haab told WPLG-TV.

CNN aired a town hall on the Florida school shooting with Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Bill Nelson (D-FL) that included NRA's Dana Loesch and Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel that was moderated by Jake Tapper. Students and parents asked questions about gun control and school safety.

Nolte: The Government Failed, No One Was Armed, 17 Innocents Died

The only lesson a rational person can take away from the Parkland school massacre, is this: federal and local law enforcement is either too corrupt, inept, or hamstrung, to protect our children. Therefore, we must protect ourselves.

In the days and months leading up to last week’s mass murder in Parkland, Florida, the American people did their job. They saw something and they said something — numerous times. Local and federal law enforcement were warned.

Again and again and again, bloody-red flags popped up around this monster. Still, government balls were dropped, government ineptitude reigned, government bureaucracy stalled. Whatever the inexcusable and catastrophic reasons are, that does not matter. What matters is this…

Seventeen innocent people died because they were unarmed and helpless, because their government failed at its primary job — to protect the life of its citizens.

Knowing these facts, Democrats and their media allies are still rabid to exploit this latest government failure as a means to provoke and promote even more government failures.

'Fauxcahontas' Neglected Harvard Native American Group As Faculty Member

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) was invited at least three times to speak with Native American students at Harvard Law School while she was a faculty member, but she never accepted, according to a former president of a Native American student group.

Dr. Gavin Clarkson, a citizen of the Choctaw Nation who received both a doctorate and a law degree from Harvard while Warren was a professor, says he "personally invited" her three times to visit with Harvard's Native American Law Student Association (NALSA), which he headed while attaining his dual degree. Warren, who had identified as a minority in law professor directories and was touted by Harvard as a Native American hire, never accepted his invites.

"I was on campus at Harvard for five years, from 1998 to 2003," Clarkson said. "Warren was identified in the AALS law teacher directory as an American Indian faculty member."

Nolte: Corrupt Media Markets Gun Control Like Gay Marriage -- Say Goodbye to Your Civil Rights

The debate over gay marriage began with local conversations. Each of the 50 states would decide the issue on their own. After we discussed the matter amongst ourselves and everyone had a say, we would have ourselves a vote.

During this debate, we were assured and reassured that gay marriage would not affect us. All we want are our rights! All we want is equality! All we want is to be like you! It’s no skin off your nose! Over and over, we were promised this.

Pop culture also weighed in. TV, movies, documentaries, and various news magazines, promised us that gay marriage would bring everyone together. Carefully manufactured depictions portrayed gay nuptials as a means for families and communities to heal old wounds while a sense of Happily Ever After descended over the land.

Then came the phony media polls that showed a majority in favor of gay marriage. But, as actual voting proved, those polls were rigged. In referendums all around the country, even California, gay marriage failed.

This is when the left’s mask came off.

Existing Home Sales Extend Plunge, Biggest Annual Drop Since 2014

After new- and existing-home sales tumbled in December, expectations were for a modest 0.5% rebound in January (despite plunging mortgage applications and soaring rates). But that did not happen as existing home sales tumbled 3.2% MoM to its lowest level since Aug 2016.

Existing Home Sales are unchanged since June 2015...

The West (-5.0%) and Midwest (-6.0%) saw the biggest drop in sales and while the blame (see below) was put on inventories, data shows a 4.1% increase in "available for sale" homes?

Of course NAR is careful to blame inventories - and not soaring rates affecting affordability: Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, saysJanuary’s retreat in closings highlights the housing market’s glaring inventory shortage to start 2018.

“The utter lack of sufficient housing supply and its influence on higher home prices muted overall sales activity in much of the U.S. last month,” he said.

“While the good news is that Realtors® in most areas are saying buyer traffic is even stronger than the beginning of last year, sales failed to follow course and far lagged last January’s pace.

"It’s very clear that too many markets right now are becoming less affordable and desperately need more new listings to calm the speedy price growth.”

The median existing-home price in January was $240,500, up 5.8% from January 2017.

6-time deported illegal alien wanted for 1996 aggravated homicide in Mexico deported again by ICE El Paso deportation officers

EL PASO, Texas — An illegal alien wanted for aggravated homicide in Mexico, and who has been previously deported six times, was deported again Tuesday by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

Gonzalo “El Chano” Juarez-Limon, 48, was turned over to Mexican authorities at the international boundary on top of El Paso’s Stanton International Bridge. He is wanted in Mexico for the 1996 murder of Manuel Monrroy Islas, according to a Mexican arrest warrant.

Since 1999, Juarez-Limon has been removed from the United States six times. In December 2007, he was convicted of illegally entering the United States. He was twice federally convicted for illegally re-entering the United States after having been previously deported: May 23, 2007, and Jan. 10, 2018. Depending on an alien’s criminality, an alien who re-enters the United States after having been previously deported commits a felony punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison, if convicted.

President Trump Has 3 Questions For Jeff Session(s)

President Trump is not letting up in his efforts to see 'justice' with regard years of 'Russian meddling' accusations and Deep State intervention.

In a relatively calmly-worded tweet this morning, Trump pressured Attorney General Jeff Session (sic.) to open an investigation into the Obama administration over Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

"Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigation?"

"Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation?

Ask Jeff Session!"

Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Session!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 21, 2018

As a reminder, CNBC notes that Trump has used his Twitter account to attack Sessions before, particularly since Sessions recused himself from investigating matters relating to the 2016 presidential campaign after he failed in multiple testimonies to disclose meetings with a Russian ambassador.

The recusal kept Sessions from overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible Russian involvement with the Trump campaign, ceding responsibility to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Florida school officer waited outside building for 4 minutes as killings happened, sheriff says

A Marjory Stoneman Douglas school resource officer has been suspended without pay after Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said video shows him taking up a defensive position during the shooting but never entering the school.

Israel announced Thursday that the decision to suspend Deputy Scot Peterson was made after reviewing video from the shooting and taking statements from witnesses and Peterson himself, Israel said.

“He should have went in, addressed the killer, killed the killer,” Israel said.

Peterson was armed and on campus during the shooting, Israel said. Since he met the requirements for retirement, Peterson opted to resign after he was told he was being suspended, Israel said.

SHOREBIRDS HIT AN ALL TIME LOW, NOW CHARGING ADMISSION FOR COLOR GUARDS

Shorebirds now charging military organizations to perform Color Guard for National Anthem. Must be desperate to sell tickets if they have to charge military professionals who are doing them a favor by doing color guard.

UPDATE: I just got off the phone with General Manager Chris Bitters. He was very apologetic over the improper wording on this message. It is not their intent to ever charge the actual color guards. In fact they are truly interested in inviting more to do the National Anthem. He is on a business trip at the moment but assures me when he returns on Monday he will immediate tweak the words on this message. Mistakes happen.
