Black Lab Found In Delmar

Hi Joe,

I just found a black lab (with a white patch on her belly) in Delmar in Bridgewood Estates. She is super nice, we have brought her in from the cold but we can't keep her. She is a happy dog! We have a dog that is a little jealous at the moment. So we won't be able to keep her for long.

Thanks for any help.

Tracy

They can call me at 443-366-4403 if this is their dog.

Forgot to add, she was found with a red collar and a leash that was obviously broken off. We have tried a few neighbors with no luck.

Shes very sweet, unfortunately my dog is not good with other dogs. We kennel our dog during the day, because she has seperation anxiety. We recently lost another dog and still have her kennel so we had to kennel them both for now. I hate to do that! They are sharing whines back and forth! She is so sad, I hope we are able to find her family in this weather! It's heartbreaking!

Does the dog have an invisible fence type collar?

no. It looks like a plain red collar. Nothing visible.

I'm sure it's frustrating with both dogs not getting along and whining, but kenneled is so much better than being out in this weather and as a pet owner, I wanted to say thank you for taking care of her, you've earned a few good karma points today :)

Joe, I was just reading some of your old posts about missing black labs, they all seem to have red collars!

I wonder if this is the same Black Lab with Red collar that was found about a week ago.

I looked and the description also said that the dog had brown on its nose. This dog does not. We have left a message on the owners voice mail, just in case!

I am the owner of the lab that was lost last week. After reading this post the message on my phone makes sense. It was a bad connection &I could not make out most of the message. The dog you have found is not mine. Mine is sitting beside me now. Thanks so much for thinking of us though and thank you for taking in the poor dog. hopefully her owner will claim her soon.

Thanks Richard. Actually another reader called and suggested it. Good to hear you have your dog. We still have her. I hope she finds her family too! She is safe and warm waiting to be reunited with her family!

Joe, if we still have her tomorrow could you repost this so that we can get her back to her family? I know with this weather you have many other things to post! I will also send a picture if she will sit for me! She is very playful!

You need to send me a picture of the dog. A black lab with a white spot is a black lab with a white spot. Even a cell phone picture will do.

We found her family! Thanks for your help! I would have sent a picture but we couldn't get her to sit still! Even with a good camera it wouldn't have been a good picture!
