Maryland State Police spent most of sunday afternoon June 8 searcing the area of Airport and Johnson Rd for a missing elderly male. The man has a medical condition and has disappeared from his residence on airport rd in salisbury, just south of the Johnson Rd intersection, has been missing since Friday. There was no Sunday night news coverage on tv of it. It is my understanding Police may bring in a search team on horse back from Virginia on Monday to aid in the search of the surrounding wooded areas. Jeffrey Robert Gunderson was last seen at 4759 Airport Road Friday at 2:00 PM. He has allergies, stands 5-9 189 lbs. 59 years old.

Most Outrageous Moments
Have you ever seen this show on television? We just sat through watching this show in which some clips were in fact funny. However, this is the very first time I can easily say there was more commercials throughout the entire show than there was a show! I have become so sick and tired of television it isn't funny. We have satellite in which we spend $110.00 a month for anything and everything, yet were subjected to more commercials and or shows that repeat the same scene 3 or 4 times in a row, as if you didn't get it the first time.
Have you noticed that in those police shows where they show it to you once, then they show it to you again, then again and then one last time. Are Americans that retarded now a days? This is entertainment? The way I see it is, we need satellite television like we have satellite radio, NO FREAKIN COMMERCIALS!

Pittsville Taxes To Rise 17%
I keep getting messages asking me if I'd be willing to put up a Post letting everyone know there will be a meeting in Pittsville on 6-16-08 referencing a 17% Tax Increase.
The funny part is, people are asking me if Barrie Tilghman has anything to do with this. My answer to ALL of you is, kinda! You see, Paul Wilber is also the Town Attorney for Pittsville and that's one of the main reasons why Pittsville is so screwed up, seriously.
If you only knew what the taxes were like in that Town to start with, especially corporate taxes! I happen to own 13 properties in Pittsville and it blows my mind what these people get away with, especially water bills!!!!! Sound familiar?

What exactly is your policy regarding Anonymous comments? Yes, you run a blog, which by its very nature is opinion-based and voluntary, especially in readership. So, if someone does not like what he or she reads, then the option is there not to read it at all. Plus, I am an adult, and can handle any criticisms thrown at me directly.
However, that is the rub. Anonymous comments are, by their very nature, not direct. I liken them to a punch in a dark room. The Anonymous writer can stir up whatever they want, then sit back and watch the response without ownership, or consequence. It is a very immature way to go about things, and very opposite to the “ideals” espoused by these posters. How am I (or anyone, including you or any of your contributors) supposed to respond to an opponent who does not really exist? I know that if any Anonymous posters would attack you, you would feel the same way, or simply not post their comments on the blog.
My belief is this: If you have an opinion about anything at all, man up and own it. Stand by it and scream it from the highest point you can find. If you can not sign your name to your opinions, then why have the opinions at all? As the moderator of the blog, anonymous comments and their idiocy/attacks/whining reflects on you. Yes, I am all for not infringing on freedom of speech, but that freedom, and all others, come with responsibility, a very important point ignored by most people.
Anonymity allows one to say whatever they want to say at all times. Freedom of speech does not actually work like that. (Go in and shout “fire” in a crowded theater, or shout racial epithets at a group of African-Americans and see what happens. Not only would you have to worry about bodily harm , but legal ramifications as well.) If the posters here want to wrap themselves in the flag and their stunted understanding of their freedoms and what it means to be an American, then someone needs to call them on it. Everyone has a right to be a dumbass, but you have to be a dumbass out in public, for everyone to see.
To hide from your own opinions is the opposite of being a strong American. It is immature and counterproductive to a discussion of what freedom is. We will all stand together and call for the capture and prosecution of someone who would plant an anonymous IED by a roadside in Iraq. Why to we cheer the anonymous word-based IEDs posted here?"
I think we all have fallen a victim to anonymous comments on the Blogs. In many cases being anonymous is very important. Take for example an employee of Barrie Tilghman who has some inside information but if their boss found out they were commenting in a public format, they would surely be fired, especially if it was against their boss. Remember as well, this person may feel a strong need to get the TRUTH out there without retaliation simply because they care.
There are the Anti Albero Bloggers, (few and far between now) who like to get on here and stir the pot. I have been making sure 95% of their comments never see the light of day and whenever I choose to go to their Blog to see what's going on out there I can see I'm doing a great job at it because they simply get on that Blog and complain I wouldn't allow their comment through, ROTFLMAO!
Running a successful Blog take a lot of time, trust me on that one. I have to make decisions every day that I hate doing but I must be as fair as I possibly can. We still get racial comments, lots of curse words in many comments that no longer see the light of day and the majority of punches being thrown in a "dark room" are gone. Just go back and look at the amount of comments that come through here in one day. They're reaching between 100 to 200 that I'm allowing a day. That's a LOT of comments. Now know that around 50 to 100 of them never make it. Do you have any idea how much reading that takes me a day just to moderate comments alone? Then we're putting together articles, running around to locations taking pictures and actually participating in the community. Like I said, running a successful Blog isn't easy.
As much as I'd like each and every person on here to have a name and some accountability, it's simply impossible to do. In many cases I can't blame most people for not putting up their name. Now, should Barrie Tilghman get her a$$ booted out of Office I believe you'd see many more names popping up. In the mean time, people would rather not experience sudden violations to their homes and costly legal fees to defend themselves against a control freak.

Paul Williams Becomes World Champion
Last night I received a phone call from Hal Chernoff in total excitement. It turns out the Boxer Fernando spars with all the time, (another southpaw) from Washington, D.C. knocked out Carlos Quintano in the first round last night to win the Welterweight Championship of the World.
Paul Williams comes to Salisbury frequently and I'm sure will receive an unbelievable welcome the next time he comes to town. Fernando and Hal couldn't be happier for this young man as they have nothing but the utmost respect for Paul and his entire Team.

My fellow Americans:
As your future President I want to thank my supporters, for your mindless support of me, despite my complete lack of any legislative achievement, my pastor's relations with Louis Farrakhan and my relations with Libyan dictator Moamar Quadafi, or my blatantly leftist voting record while I present myself as some sort of bi-partisan agent of "change".
I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal behavior somehow qualifies me for the Presidency, while after 8 years of claiming Bush's youthful drinking disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea of political posing.
I would also like to thank the Kennedy's for coming out in support of me. There's a lot of glamour behind the Kennedy name, even with JFK starting the Vietnam War, his brother Robert illegally wiretapping Martin Luther King Jr. and Teddy, who killed a female employee with whom he was having an extra marital affair and who was pregnant with his child. And I'm not going anywhere near the cousins, both literally and figuratively. I'd also like to thank Oprah Winfrey for her support. Her love of meaningless empty platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House.
Americans should vote for me, not because of my lack of experience or achievement, but because I make people feel good. Voting for me causes some white folk to feel relieved of their imagined, racist guilt. I say things that sound meaningful, but don't really mean anything because Americans are tired of things having meaning. If things have meaning, then that means you have to think about them. Americans are tired of thinking. It's time to shut down the brain, and open up the heart. So when you go to vote in November, remember don't think, just do it. And do it for me.
