Former Employee Of Robinson's Jewlers Admits To John Robinson Making Nasty Comments On Blogs

While I will be delivering another Post updating the John Robinson case from the other day, I did come to learn from a former Employee of John Robinson's that they regularly and daily made unbelievable comments on Salisbury News, even though Robinson swore to God he wasn't on the Blogs all that time.

In my personal opinion, I wouldn't trust that piece of work as far as I could throw his fat a$$. He's a habitual liar and threatens lawsuits he can't back, ever. Robinson needs to shut his fat trap and stay away from the Blogs as they continue to come back and bite him in the a$$ each and every time.

John Robinson, YOU'VE BEEN BLOGGED, ONCE AGAIN.

BREAKING NEWS! Sean Adkins, BUSTED!

Sean Adkins was arrested last night on 73 counts of embezzlement totaling $278,000.00 from the Coastal Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Hebron.

Coastal Comfort is a local small business that won Best of the Best businesses this year in the Metropolitan Magazine. It has taken Investigators close to a year to finally bring charges up against this 29 year old man from Salisbury. Although the charges below show $500.00 Plus Value to each count, I'm told each job was anywhere from $5,000.00 to $12,000.00 per job on average.

Obviously there will be much more to come with this story and although its Saturday afternoon, we will do what we can to get more details. I am told that he was bonded out by an Ocean City Bond Company this morning. Now that Salisbury News busted this one wide open, I'm sure you'll hear something about it by other News Sources in the very near future. We Are The Scoop Machine!

ELECTRIFYING! EXCLUSIVE!

ELECTRIFYING is the only way I can describe today's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the new Republican Headquarters in Wicomico County.

Andy Harris received what felt like a 5 minute long applause, you would have thought he was running for President and made a personal appearance! More than 140 people showed up and it was shoulder to shoulder room only, seriously.

Yard Signs were going like hot cakes in a refugee camp. I'll deliver more photos tomorrow and information on this particular event but believe me, this was one of the most exciting political events I've been to yet.

OCEAN CITY BEGINS TO FEEL THE EFFECTS OF TROPICAL STORM HANNA

As the rain bands of Tropical Storm Hanna enter Delmarva, the Ocean City area remains under a Tropical Storm Warning. The storm has been traveling over land since early this morning. The majority of the predicted rainfall has been felt west of Worcester County.

Ocean City remains under a Tornado Watch until 1:00 p.m. As a precaution, Town official have closed the sea wall and removed all flags normally flying over Town buildings. No closures or evacuations have been ordered, and none are anticipated.

It is expected the Town will experience strong sustained winds of 35-45 mph with gust up to 60 mph. A total of 2-4 inches of rainfall is expected in the area. Ocean City will see rough surf, but there should be no erosion or coastal flooding issues.

Emergency Management personnel are actively monitoring the storm. The highest winds should be felt between 2:00 and 4:00 o’clock this afternoon. Officials hope the worst effects of the storm will pass by early evening.

Storm and event updates will be posted on the Town’s websites, HYPERLINK "http://www.town.ocean-city.md.us" www.town.ocean-city.md.us and HYPERLINK "http://www.ocmdemergency.com" www.ocmdemergency.com, as well as the above phone numbers.

Renowned Carver??????

I want to thank the Daily Times today for recognizing that Salisbury News created the articles that have now made this man "renowned" as this is a compliment they have yet to give such recognition for in the past.

GO HERE to see my recent article on Tommy and his fine work.

GO HERE to see an article I did back on April 21, 2008 on Tommy as well.

And the MSM wants Congress to pass legislation to charge Bloggers .50 cents per word if Bloggers copy stories from their articles? ;-)

Sam's Club Is Still Offering The Lowest Price In Town

I know there are some nay sayers out there stating you have to join Sam's Club to get the lowest prices, no one is suggesting you simply join Sam's Club simply for the gas.

Sam's has the best deals on food and all sorts of home and office needs. Most business owners find Sam's Club to be extremely convenient as well. Their inventory is always in stock and the lower gas prices are simply an added plus.

That being said, I drove by this Station this morning, (2nd photo) and as usual, things are quite slow. I'll give them credit, they have most definitely lowered their prices to be more competitive and my hat is tipped for their doing so.

Ribbon Cutting At Republican Club 10:00 AM TODAY!

While Republicans gathered to watch McCain speak the other night, the Media soaked up the opportunity to meet and interview several Wicomico County Republicans.

If you'd like to attend today's ribbon cutting, they're location right across the street from the Giant on Rt. 13. Andy Harris will be present as well as several other dignitaries.

Responding To Your Message

Dear Mr. Miller:

Thank you for contacting me about disparities in state taxes on cable and satellite television services. I appreciate hearing from you about this issue.

I understand your concern that states should not tax different television signal types at different rates. As you may know, the State Video Tax Fairness Act of 2007 (H. R. 3679) would prohibit this practice. This legislation is currently pending in the House of Representatives and not in the Senate. I will be looking closely at any similar legislation introduced in the Senate to make sure that it promotes consumer choice, affordable rates, and technological innovation.

Thanks again for getting in touch with me. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to you in the future.

Sincerely,
Barbara A. Mikulski
United States Senator

P.S. If I can be of further assistance in the future,
please visit my website at http://mikulski.senate.gov
or call my Washington D.C. office at 202-224-4654

UPDATE:

Mr. Miller's Response to this letter.

"And please forward this message to Barbara personally,

FOR GOD'S SAKE, NO MORE TAXES, AND, NO TAX INCREASES!!

AND ONE LAST THING, FREE UP ALL OIL DRILLING. . . AND I DON'T CARE IF IT IS IN MY OWN BACK YARD. . . WE NEED IT ALL!!!"

Winter Heating Bills

As some of you may know, I am the owner of the Factory Direct Window Co. which is a distributor of vinyl replacement windows and steel entry doors (we've recently expanded what we offer to include other building supplies such as interior solid pine doors, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, etc). I also own a construction company, Supreme Construction & Remodeling, which is licensed by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC #95510). The experts are stating the obvious - this winter will yield record high home heating costs regardless of whether we have a "mild" winter. One of the best ways to make sure that your home is as energy efficient as possible is to replace drafty old windows with high quality vinyl replacement windows with insulated glass.

We offer the Earthwise Eclipse 6500 double hung vinyl replacement window with 3/4 inch insulated glass for $183.95 - and most installations are free. This means removing a standard old wooden double hung window up to 101 united inches (width plus height) including related storm window, and installing a new basic vinyl double hung replacement window. Any grids, low "E" glass, or capping of the exterior wood window trim would be extra. I know of two other contractor friends of mine who install the same style of window the same way listed above and charge between $275.00 and $350.00 per window.

There is another company in the area which will remained unnamed who is part of a national chain and advertises windows installed for $189.00.........then they add to remove storm windows, to dispose of the old windows, and a "fuel surcharge". I know this because I recently hired an experienced member of one of their window crews. A typical bait and switch. DON'T BE FOOLED!

My estimates are free. Call my office @ 410-835-8010 and talk to one of the girls about setting up an appointment. I'll bring out a sample and show you how to stop old man winter from stealing your money while being part of the movement to "Go Green" by doing your part to conserve energy and become less dependent on foriegn oil.
