Attempted Armed Robbery Gone Bad In Salisbury

"Hey Joe,

I want to give another warning to those out after dark. My husband and I own Auto Medic Towing. My husband was sitting at our storage lot on Upshur Street tonite at approx. 7:00 p.m. waiting for another towing company to come and pick up a vehicle what was in our impound lot. He had stepped out of the tow truck to check something, when a teenage light skinned black male, approx. 6 feet tall wearing a black hoodie that was 3 sizes too big approached him. My husband asked him if he could help him. He told my husband that he had a gun and wanted his money (although he never pulled a gun out). My husband had one of the tow chains (which weighs approx. 20 pounds) within reach and hit the guy in the head area with it with all of his might. The guy fell to the ground and there was a brawl. He got away from my husband and ran towards Eastern Shore Drive with my husband chasing him. He got away after almost getting hit by a motorist. Thankfully, my husband wasn't injured seriously. He was more mad than anything that some punk would try to rob him. This kid learned not to mess with him, because he was the one that got hurt. I just want to remind people to be aware of their surroundings and to be careful when out after dark. If anyone has any information about this, please contact the Salisbury City Police Dept. at 410-548-3165. I thank God that my husband is safe. I would also like to thank Officer Hudson from the Salisbury City Police for his assistance and kindness.

Sincerely,
Nancy Wallace

MAJOR BREAKING NEWS!!!! Ray Lewis Pleads Guilty & Gets 6 Months!

While the MSM falls asleep at the wheel today, Salisbury News is right on top of this breaking news story from Talbot County.

The Case Is Over and NO ONE was there! Ray Lewis plead GUILTY to Grand Theft in the Circuit Court of Talbot County this morning.

The court heard a very lengthy explanation from Lewis and in the end to make a very long story short, the Judge sentenced Ray Lewis to 3 years and then SUSPENDED all but 6 months!

Lewis WILL also be on work release and will do his time locally. He'll be on a 3 year probation and was ordered to $150,000.00 Restitution. He was also ordered to forfeit the white box truck. GET THIS! The Judge also ASKED Ray when he'd like to start his sentence and what time he's like to show up that day. Ray chose to arrive on the 29th of December. UNBELIEVABLE!

Now look Folks, everyone is going to be really pissed when they see this and it is 100% accurate. You'll only get this news from Salisbury News but it will hit the street soon and everyone will be doing catch up work.

It must be noted there was NO PLEA DEAL from the State. The sentence was purely in control and at the digression of the Judge from Talbot County. I can assure you, the Wicomico County States Attorneys Office was not pleased.

The Judge COULD have given him 15 years in Jail instead. Go Figure!

FOLKS, get EVERYONE on your e-mail list to go to this article. Let's get the word out to everyone before the weekend hits.

Thousands Enjoy A Salvation Army Christmas This Morning

This morning starting at 9:00 AM the Salvation Army went into their second stage of taking care of literally thousands of local Families. It is VERY important for everyone to understand that at this point and time of day, they are done giving out these gifts and are through for the Holidays. In some cases people tend to see articles like this and try to make contact with the Salvation Army after the fact. It takes several months to put all of the names and Families together and as you can clearly see from these photos, it's a huge undertaking.

What blows me away about this whole thing is ALL of the local businesses that contribute and especially their Employees. I'd love to mention names but it wouldn't be fair because I can't mention them all here.

The Teddy Bear shown above is a cool story as well. The Bears go out to a large amount of volunteers where they actually hand make ALL of the outfits for each and every Bear. Food also goes out to all of the Families on their list. What's not shown in one of the photos above are all the chickens and other refrigerated goods that go out to all of these Families.

The Salvation Army does incredible things most are not aware of but I wanted to touch on some of what they do. Be sure to call them and wish everyone at the Salvation Army a very Merry Christmas.

Work Release Inmate Escapes

This morning while the work release van was transporting prisoners, one of the Inmates actually jumped out of a moving van and took off. When you get closer to the Holidays these things tend to happen as some Inmates get the Holiday Bug.

Hopefully we get word as to what the outcome is on this particular situation but we also received RUMOR that another Work Release Inmate took off from a local Elementary School but that could not be confirmed and no one actually heard of it happening.

Pass the Doobie Bro

"I inhaled frequently. That was the point." - Barack Obama

There is a new website up called ObamaBlunt.com. This sight is dedicated to the disappointment of many Americans who voted for Change and are now realizing that they are only going to be getting more of the same.
On Obamas Change.Gov sight, the number one question written to the President Elect is...
"Will you consider legalizing marijuana so that the government can regulate it, tax it, put age limits on it, and create millions of new jobs and create a billion dollar industry right here in the U.S.?"

To which the answer was..."President-elect Obama is not in favor of the legalization of marijuana."

Funny, I thought he was, and apparently many many of his supporters did as well.

I guess this can be added to the list of just one more of the many disappointments his supporters are experiencing.
From a White House staff and Cabinet made up of Clinton Administration good ole' boys with less minority's than even 'W' has in his administration.
To now finding that America is going to continue on with marijuana branch of the failing 'Drug War', and have millions of Americans who use it every day continue to be labeled criminals for doing so.
Change doesn't affect the money that the pharmaceutical companies are able to lay dow to keep pot illegal. They have a much larger stake in this than mere promises of Change.
Change hasn't come, it is simply more of the same, except wrapped in a different package. The only problem is that more of the same looks like less and less of our civil rights will be left.

I recieved an email from the ACLU of Maryland talking about an upcoming meeting where they want to redress so many of the civil rights that have been lost with the Patriot Act and with FISA. What they and their supportors don't realize is, is that Obama doesn't care about our civil rights.
He is self serving and wanted Change for himself, while we the citizens will only pay for the Change but never reep a benefit of it.
When all that Change goes into effect, just tell me ... What will be left?

God Sent Me

One day a professor, who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU, shocked the class when he came in, looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD if you are real then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 min."

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when a United States Marine, who was attending some college courses between assignments got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and at there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence.

The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, "What in the world is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Marine calmly replied, "GOD was too busy today protecting America's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid shit and act like an idiot. So He sent me."

Rainbow Tree

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

Mayor Tilghman & Chief Webster Made Fools Of Themselves Yesterday

While the Mayor and Chief of the Salisbury Police Department walked around yesterdays Police Academy Graduation they were not greeted by anyone there with a comfortable welcome. The Mayor's presence continues to be shunned by most and some refused to even look at her or say a word to her. Remember, this is the woman who REFUSED to allow Sheriff Lewis a parking permit for the GOB when he came into the City of official business.

As if the Red Cross Luncheon wasn't signal enough, yesterday proved these two have lost all credibility professionally, even in their own arena. The Mayor completely lost her mind when she got up on stage and actually saluted the Officers Graduating, she's not a Cop and it was an insult to law enforcement. Many just laughed under their breath.

As for the Police Chief, he was the ONLY Chief there who refused, (once again) to show up in uniform. I was also told he followed the Mayor around like a puppet and the two have become the biggest joke Salisbury has and their leaders. I wonder where these two clowns will show up next?

A Letter To The Editor About A Local Rest Stop?

"Could someone explain the purpose of the RestStop at Route 50 and Philipmorris Drive? I see several cars parked there frequently day and night. Do people stop there and rest or sleep because of the grueling drive from Willards to Linkwood? I dont see families stopping to have picnic lunches when travelling on vacation. I bet those that stop there might be doing some illegal things.......maybe like selling drugs or.......having sexual relations......for heavens sake, someone was murdered there a few years ago! How many police cars drive past that area every day without any enforcing of the law? Close the place down!Plow it under and let CVS put a drug store there! It is a disgrace and is in such a highly visible area."

Exclusive Abuse Photos

On Wednesday Salisbury News exposed a story in which no one else knew about. WBOC read the Blog and did finally get something up Thursday night but had their numbers all wrong and no video of the animals allegedly abused by Terrell Strawberry. One dog was found dead on the scene and the photo above is one of the 13 dogs confiscated from the property still alive. You can clearly see the ribs, tail bone and hip bones on this animal, yet it was as sweet as one of my own labs.

This is a story in which we'll keep you updated regularly. I don't think this thing is going to go away any time soon. Once again, unlike WBOC, we're NOT going to expose information in which we have been asked to keep quiet for the time being. This is the second time in the past week WBOC has exposed confidential information but they claim this is what makes them "Delmarva's News Leader," The way WE see it here at Salisbury News, (especially after tonight's news cast) Salisbury News keeps breaking local news stories at least a day in advance and WBOC reads it here and then starts calling the people involved in our articles. Yes, this has been confirmed dozens of times as these people call me right back letting me know WBOC just read our Post and they wanted to know more.

WBOC is quickly gaining the reputation that they cannot be trusted. I'd say Salisbury News is Delmarva's News Leader and WBOC should be named, "Follow The Leader." Like it or not, it's true. Read Salisbury News and then watch WBOC that evening or the next evening and you'll see our stories on their show a day or two later. Granted, sometimes it's on the same day because we post so early.

We'll keep you posted on the dogs recovered by the Humane Society.

Vandalism In Rustic Acres

"Joe,

These are photos taken today of vandalism in the rustic acres subdivision. These boxes are set in place early in december by children in the neighborhood as drop off sites for a food drive that they do. It is a shame that someone doesn't have anything better to do than destroy someone elses property. I had also heard that one of the boxes had feces and tp left inside. I would love to see the persons responsble for this held accountable. The children that man this food drive have to be devastated by someone defacing their good deed. I just hope that the damage can be repaired and the boxes back in place to continue the drive as I believe the goods are delivered on Christmas Eve by the children.

With the success of Viagra, many new performance drugs for men go into development:

--PROJECTRA:: Men given this experimental new drug were far more likely to actually finish a household repair project before starting a new one.

--COMPLIMENTRA: In clinical trials, 82% of middle-aged men noticed that their wives had a new hairstyle. Currently being tested to see if its effects extend to noticing new clothing.

--ANTI-AGRA: Promises the exact opposite effect of Viagra. Currently undergoing clinical trials on U.S. Senators.

--NOSPORTAGRA: This drug makes men want to turn off televised sports and actually converse with other family members.

--FLATULAGRA: This complex drug converts men's noxious intestinal gases into air freshener.

--FLYAGRA: This drug shows great promise in treating men with O.F.D. (Open Fly Disorder).

--LIAGRA: This drug helps men lie more successfully when asked about their sexual affairs. Will be available in Regular, Grand Jury and Political Strength versions.

Good News From JMB & Parkside

"Joe nothing really about this post but thought that you might want to know. For all the problems JMB has Parkside is basicly stable, because we have had solid leadership for many years. So this past Christmas season Parkside High School and Career and Tech. Have collected over 2000 cans of food to be distrubted by the Joseph House and the Order Of Redmen tribe. Thought you might want some positive info on the school system here in Wicomico County, and Parkside."
