Royal Farms Murder In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - There have been two murders in just two days and Salisbury Police have their hands tied--- but they have made some breaking discoveries on the murder of a Salisbury man. Police say it all started when a mob of people crowded outside this Royal Farms around 3 A.M. on Sunday. They say a fight broke out between two men, and ended with gun shots.

That's where 20-year-old Devan Walls was killed. "There was some indication from witnesses that these two gentlemen did know each other, they've had altercations in the past and there was an altercation prior to the shooting," said Salisbury Lieutenant Rob Kemp.

Police say the man responsible is 26-year-old Walik Evans. He allegedly dropped the gun at the scene and then fled in his car. Officials say after shots were fired they chased the suspect to Pemberton Apartments where he was captured.

Mexican Police Patrolling In New York?

It's seems that Mexican police will be patrolling the streets of Staten Island.

"In a series of events which has caused wide notice and a storm of protests, the government of Mexico, through its consulate in New York in the United Nations, has announced it will begin patrolling the New York City borough of Staten Island to “safeguard” its nationals there.
The actions of Mexico come after a series of incidents the Mexican government terms “bias attacks.”

“We will act decisively in order to protect our citizens and will actively promote that those guilty of these vicious attacks are brought to justice expeditiously. We are working hand-in-hand with local authorities on all levels,” said Consul General of Mexico in New York, Ruben Beltran in an email to the Staten Island Advance."

Thank You Harley Davidson Of Ocean City

No question about it, the Harley Davidson Shop in Ocean City have built one of the biggest events of the year for the Eastern Shore. Millions of dollars are being spent at the end of the season and there are literally thousands of businesses who should also be praising this event.

If anyone has any Ocean City pictures they'd like to send in we'd be happy to post them. Unfortunately for me, its an election year and I wasn't able to get away long enough to make the ride out there. However, I have been to Winter Place Park each and every day.

One thing I'd love to have is an aerial shot of Ocean City and Winter Place Park. If you've got one, send it.

Report: Muslim Brotherhood Has Infiltrated The U.S. Government

The Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the U.S. government as part of the movement's drive to promote holy war against the West, a report said.

So far, the government was said to have done nothing to stop the Brotherhood infiltration. The report by the Center for Security Policy cited the success of one Brotherhood operative in gaining access to the White House under both Democratic and Republican administrations.

"Relying on Brotherhood operatives for 'outreach to the Muslim community,' let alone appointing them to influential government jobs, is a formula for disaster," the report said. "It gives prominence and legitimacy to enemy agents engaged in covert and not-so-covert acts of sedition. It facilitates their penetration and influence over the intelligence, law enforcement and national and homeland security agencies responsible for discerning and defeating such threats."

Titled "Shariah, The Threat to America," the report said the Brotherhood, with headquarters in Egypt but heavily financed by Saudi Arabia, has dominated Muslim politics in the United States. The report, prepared by teams headed by former Deputy Defense Undersecretary William Boykin and former Defense Intelligence Agency director Edward Soyster, said the Brotherhood oversaw everything from Hamas fundraising to training for FBI agents assigned to the Muslim community.

"As a result of this modus operandi, the Muslim Brotherhood is not only able to prevent any appreciable challenge to its efforts to dominate the Muslim-American community," the report, released on Sept. 15, said. "It is also able to exercise effective control over nearly all the Muslim organizational infrastructure in the United States, including most of those Muslim-American groups that are nominally outside its network. In any event, the latter pale by comparison in terms of their influence to those U.S.-based Islamic groups that are Ikhwan [Brotherhood] operations."

The report cited Abdul Rahman Al Amoudi, an Eritrean native who in the 1990s became executive director of the American Muslim Council. Under the administration of then-President Bill Clinton, Al Amoudi helped develop guidelines for government dealings with the Muslim community and often met senior White House officials, including National Security Advisor Anthony Lake.

Later Al Amoudi met George W. Bush during his successful campaign for president in 2000. In 2003, Al Amoudi was arrested and prosecuted on charges that he served as a senior financier for Al Qaida.

The report said U.S. intelligence and security agencies have been prevented from properly analyzing the Brotherhood threat. Analysts could jeopardize their careers should they employ "accurate language to define the enemy threat doctrine," the report said.

Under President Barack Obama, the Brotherhood was believed to have gained even greater influence. The report cited White House counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan, an enthusiastic supporter of Saudi Arabia who has denied any Islamic threat and called for a U.S. dialogue with the Iranian-sponsored Hizbullah.

"Indeed, it is hard to overstate the danger associated with the president of the United States having as his top advisor in these sensitive portfolios someone so severely compromised with respect to shariah and the threat it poses," the report said.

Bloomberg, a popular independent with close ties to the business community, is endorsing candidates across the country from both political parties who know what it takes to get the economy back on track.

"Mayor Bloomberg speaks to [voters'] desire [for results] in a powerful way," Governor O'Malley tells the New York Times in today's front page story.

Scott Rasmussen And Douglas Schoen: One Nation Under Revolt

(Excerpted from "Mad as Hell: How the Tea Party Movement is Fundamentally Remaking Our Two-Party System")

The Tea Party movement has become one of the most powerful and extraordinary movements in recent American political history.

It is as popular as both the Democratic and Republican parties. It is potentially strong enough to elect senators, governors and congressmen. It may even be strong enough to elect the next president of the United States -- time will tell.

But the Tea Party movement has been one of the most derided and minimized and, frankly, most disrespected movements in American history. Yet, despite being systematically ignored, belittled, marginalized, and ostracized by political, academic, and media elites, the Tea Party movement has grown stronger and stronger.

The extraordinary turnout on April 15, 2010, at rallies across the country speaks volumes to the strength, power, and influence of the Tea Party movement, with more than 750 protests held across the country, demonstrating a level of activism and enthusiasm that is both unprecedented and arguably unique in recent American political history.

Survey data collected at about this time bears out the same point. In mid-April 2010, a Rasmussen Reports survey in which nearly one quarter (24 percent) of the electorate self-identified as being members in the Tea Party movement -- up from 16 percent a month earlier.

On April 15, 2009, in honor of Tax Day, seemingly spontaneous tax protests sprung up across the country. At the time, no one in the media or in the political elite thought that these protests were important. In fact, many said they were irrelevant. Some, ignoring the obvious, said they did not exist at all.

In an April 15, 2009, interview, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, "This initiative is funded by the high end -- we call it Astroturf, it's not really a grass-roots movement. It's Astroturf by some of the wealthiest people in America to keep the focus on tax cuts for the rich instead of for the great middle class."

"[They are] evil-mongers" spreading "lies, innuendo, and rumor," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

When the elite looked, their first reaction was to say: "Well if it was real (which we really don't believe it was), it is a one-time occurrence, it is no big deal, and it is worth neither our time nor attention."

"The networks virtually refused to recognize the tea party in 2009 (19 stories), with the level of coverage increasing only after Scott Brown's election in Massachusetts" in January, the report said, referring to the Republican's win of the Senate seat long held by Edward M. Kennedy.

The first reaction from political and media elites was that these were insignificant gatherings, just small numbers of people inflated by the media.

Massive, Nationwide Vote Fraud--The Rotten Fruit Of ACORN-Type Activism

Every two years for the past decade and more, reports of voter fraud have been on the increase during election campaigns around the country. That is not coincidental.

Since passage in 1993 of the National Voter Registration Act - aka "Motor Voter" - by the Democratic Congress that led to the 1994 GOP takeover, ACORN and a bunch of other radical liberal activists groups, many financed by George Soros, have been steadily growing their ability to increase vote counts for their candidates by stuffing ballot boxes with illegal votes on election day.

To get just a taste of how deeply devious the Left's tactics are in subverting elections, check out this report by Leo Vaquez, the Harris County, Texas, Voter Registrar. Here's a partial list from that report of the many ways one leftist group, Houston Votes, has tried to register thousands of illegal voters in recent months:

• Houston Votes has turned in 25,640 applications.

• Houston Votes applications have generated 7,193 “new” voter records.

• Houston Votes applications have generated 3,531 applications which were rejected by the SOS for failure to match TDL/SSN.

• Houston Votes has submitted 1,597 multiple applications (two or more applications for same person).

• Houston Votes has submitted 1,014 applications for pre-existing voters.

• Houston Votes applications have generated 1,030 Notices of Incomplete.

• Houston Votes has submitted 25 non-citizen applications.

• Houston Votes has submitted 325 too young applications.

The Right has been a little slow to realize the awesome scope and intensity of this campaign to subvert the democratic process, but citizens groups are springing up all over the country now to fight for honest elections. Minnesota Majority is one such group and you can read Jeff Davis's Examiner oped on the epic fraud that wracked the 2008 Minnesota election here.

'The Gloves Are Off': Murkowski Pursues Write-in Bid

Declaring that Alaska "cannot accept the extremist views of Joe Miller," Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said Friday that she intends to run as an independent write-in candidate this November.

Murkowski called her decision "a difficult one," but cited "an outpouring of support from Alaskans all over the state" as a primary driver of her decision.

Earlier this month, Murkowski conceded a stunning defeat to Tea Party-backed Joe Miller in the state's Republican Senate primary, but after declining to endorse Miller, speculation raged that she would remain in the race this fall either under the banner of the Libertarian Party or as a write-in. Sitka Mayor Scott McAdams is the Democratic Party's nominee.

Despite meeting with the Libertarian Party's Senate nominee, David Haase, Murkowski said earlier this week that she would not run on the party's ballot line in November. That left an independent write-in bid as Murkowski's final option, and Murkowski admitted that as of Thursday night she was still undecided.

But on Friday, Murkowski was unequivocal -- the incumbent sent a shot across the bow of both Miller and the Tea Party Express, declaring "the gloves are off."

Murkowski referenced her pre-primary pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee, calling it a statement she regrets and saying, "it was made before I became aware of the last-minute name calling and mudslinging" from outside conservative groups.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made clear Friday night that the party is backing Miller and Murkowski would be out of the leadership if successful.

"I informed her that by choosing to run a campaign against the Republican nominee, she no longer has my support for serving in any leadership roles, and I have accepted her letter of resignation from Senate leadership," McConnell said in a statement.

Again Folks, please be careful out there. There's a lot more traffic than usual.

Pence Picked As Best Presidential Material At Conservative Summit

Conservative activists on Saturday picked Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) as their choice for president in 2012.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin -- who was the vice presidential candidate on the unsuccessful 2008 GOP ticket -- was voted the pick for vice president in 2012.

Palin, who has helped conservative candidates storm the national election scene, was awarded the VP spot because Pence also won the vice presidential straw poll.

Tony Perkins, the head of the conservative Family Research Council, announced the results of the straw poll at the annual Values Voter summit in Washington on Saturday.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), a contender for the 2008 GOP nomination, was the runner-up in the straw poll. Mitt Romney, the former Massachussetts governor and another 2008 primary contender, won third place for president while former House Speaker Newt Gingrich made it in fourth place.

Palin was only in fifth place on the presidential pick.

Gingrich To Activists: 'Establishment Is In A State Of Shock'

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R) on Saturday said that the "establishment is in such a state of shock."

Gingrich took the podium on Saturday at the Family Research Council's Values Voter Summit to a standing ovation from the conservative audience.

Gingrich proclaimed that Christine O'Donnell is going to win Delaware's Senate seat this November.

Gingrich called O'Donnell the "candidate of paychecks" running against the "candidate of food stamps"-- the Democratic candidate Chris Coons.

Ginrich's moniker comes as a direct slam at President Obama and the Democratic majority's spending policies.

O'Donnell and Coons will be battling for Vice President Joe Biden's former Senate seat.

"I am a great passionate believer in the wisdom of the American people over time," Gingrich said. "We occasionally make mistakes...2008 was an example."

Gingrich called for a new Congress to force out Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

“When Secretary Sebelius said the other day she would punish insurance companies that told the truth about the cost of Obamacare, she was behaving exactly in the spirit of the Soviet tyranny,” Gingrich said. “And if she’s going to represent left-wing thought police about Obamacare, she should be forced to resign by the new Congress.”

Sebelius earlier this month sent a letter to a leading insurance industry group complaining that some companies were blaming premium increases on healthcare reform legislation.

What Does Christine O'Donnell Stand For?

There's been a lot of smoke-blowing from liberals lately about Christine O'Donnell and what she believes-- some saying it's some big secret, and that nobody really knows.

It's no secret at all.

She made her position 'crystal clear' (may I borrow that worn-out phrase from the O-Man?) when she announced her candidacy.

Here it is-- straight from her website:

“My name is Christine O’Donnell, and I’m here today to officially announce my candidacy in the 2010 Special Election for the US Senate seat vacated by Joe Biden. I’m running for US Senate to help change the direction of our country and because I sense like you the America we knew and grew up with is being threatened in the most serious way. I’m running because our nation’s founding principles of individual liberty and free enterprise are no longer viewed by our leaders as indispensable. I’m running because the people of Delaware deserve a representative who will stand up to the Washington elites and fight back against a Congress and White House intent on saddling us with their reckless spending, unbearable taxes and unfair policies that stifle our freedom and weigh down future generations with a debt that will shackle them for the rest of their lives.

The focus of my campaign will be on jobs and our economy, with a continued defense of the first principles of life and liberty. It doesn’t take an expert to figure out that our county is going broke. And if you want someone who embraces what the Founding Fathers envisioned a straight shooting, qualified citizen-politician to go to Washington and serve, then I hope to earn your support. We, you and I, view over-spending and over-regulation by Washington as the problem and not the solution to our economic challenges. At this pivotal time in our nation’s history this, along with the security of our homeland, should be the focus of our attention and energy.

The voters deserve a candidate who believes deficits are wrong, and that deficits destroy nations just as surely as they do families. Voting to spend money you don’t have has become an appealing option for too many politicians and common sense men and women of America know this is not sustainable.

The Delaware voters deserve a candidate who understands that governments can’t spend their way to recovery and they cannot tax the country into prosperity. That is why I have made the decision to run for US Senate. I’m one of six children raised by parents who taught me that while life can be hard, hard work will also make life better. During my campaign, I’ve been touched and motivated by the support of Delawareans and other Americans, optimistic like you, that our country can recover from the economic hole we’re in and that we can do better than the so-called “leaders” we have in Washington.

The problem is we don’t have enough elected leaders who understand that, far too often, the actions of Congress kill job growth and lead to higher taxes and bigger deficits. Politicians who vote to spend money we do not have are just as guilty as the politicians who then vote for the higher taxes needed to pay for over-spending. Suffocating government regulations and red tape stifle businesses and kill jobs. We can begin the effort to turn this country around and give to future generations the same opportunities of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that we were given, but only if we limit and roll back the damage wrought by liberal arrogance and career politicians in Washington.

Thank you for your time, and please visit Christine2010.com for more information.”Plain enough, eh? No big mystery.

'Fraudulently Fluffing' The Jobs Report

Joe-

I'm thinking about this post you put up on Thursday:

Are Poll Workers Being Used to Inflate Jobs Report?

I'm an election worker in a Lower-shore county, and we just received paperwork, including W-4s, etc. that was mailed out on Friday (3 days AFTER the election when we all worked), and it has to be returned within a week.

One worker who has been helping for many years said "I've never been asked to fill out any paperwork-- this is the first time this has ever happened.

"Indeed.

You'll recall what your post said:

"..if the election boards in all 50 states suddenly report an influx of additional government workers, the effect on the monthly employment numbers could be very, very significant..."

And the report will come out right before the election.

But somebody might say "Well, after the election, there will be a big spike in the unemployment numbers."

I think not. We are on a two-year term to serve as election workers, and if the term isn't up, we're still technically "employed," right? (even if we only work a couple of days every two years..)

What a scam!

The next Jobs Report is due on October 8th. You just watch and see what they do.

The left's war on home appliances

If ever there were any doubt that the new environmental movement's primary goal is reversing progress made since the Industrial Revolution, look no further than Europe, where bureaucrats systematically are targeting the conveniences of modern life. To fight the imaginary problem of global warming - sorry, "global climate disruption" - the European Commission has before it a proposal to reduce the electricity used by the humble family vacuum cleaner, the London Telegraph reported. It's only a matter of time before the bureaucracy on our side of the Atlantic sucks up this bad idea.

According to the final report on the subject prepared for European Union regulators, vacuums have steadily increased in power from 500 watts for an average upright 50 years ago to 2,500 watts today. The study asserts that "more power does not necessarily equate to better cleaning" and recommends a scheme to cut the allowed power level for vacuums to just 500 watts by 2014. Forget modern Hoovers and Dysons; it's time for something out of the 1960 Sears catalog.

As the EU report explains, "an energy label on its own will not be enough to effect real energy savings. We are firmly of the belief that limiting input power ratings whilst maintaining good cleaning performance is achievable through the design improvement options." Governments don't have a positive track record when it comes to retaining performance on redesigned consumer products. If vacuums have less suction, homeowners will need to spend more time vacuuming, and the supposed "energy savings" will never materialize. The same thing happened in 1992 when congressional plumbers decided to redesign America's commodes. Government-mandated low-flow toilet models were so ineffective that they required multiple flushes on each use, resulting in no net savings in water use.

Modern technology has delivered a solution to this pesky problem of consumers not doing as they're told. In last year's $814 billion stimulus package, President Obama poured 3.4 billion tax dollars into subsidies for "smart grid" projects designed to centralize control over major appliances that use electricity. The program, of course, is marketed as an advance that will deliver new options and savings to the consumer. The two-way communication underlying the concept, however, eventually will make it possible for big-ticket electrical items to be controlled remotely. In 1977, then-President Jimmy Carter called on every American "to lower the thermostat settings in all homes and buildings to no more than 65 degrees during the daytime and to a much lower setting at night." Now the smart grid enables Big Brother to turn it down for you.

Congress already has regulated light bulbs, toilets, shower heads and washing machines. It's only a matter of time before it adopts Europe's forthcoming ban on fully functional vacuum cleaners. Forcing the public to return to push brooms and washcloths is not going to save the polar bears any more than Mr. Carter's temperature austerity contributed to world peace. The new House and Senate should make repeal of these pointless appliance regulations a priority next year.

Dog Problem

An elderly spinster who was a dog lover agreed to look after her neighbor’s dog while the neighbors went on their vacation.

The only problem was that the spinsters own dog was a bitch that was in 'heat' and the neighbor’s dog was a male. Nevertheless, she had a large house and she was able to keep the two dogs apart.

One night as she lay in her bed the spinster was suddenly alarmed by an awful howling and moaning sounds from downstairs. She rushed downstairs to find the dogs locked together, as dogs do when mating. The dogs were in obvious pain howling but unable to disengage.

Try as she might she could not part them and she was perplexed as what to do next.

Though it was late she reluctantly phoned the vet and after a few rings, a rather grumpy voice of the vet answered the phone.

The spinster explained the problem.

The vet said, "I want you to take the phone to the dogs and place it down alongside them. I will then phone your number back and the noise of the telephone ringing should make the male dog lose his erection and be able to withdraw from the bitch"

"Oh," said the spinster, "Do you think that will work?"

"Well," the vet replied, "It just worked for me."

Pick Your Reason

When your friends can't explain why they voted for Democrats, give them this list. They can then pick a reason .

10. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

9. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

8. I voted Democrat because Freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

7. I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

6. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

5. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies through abortion so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

4. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.

3. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the democrats see fit.

2. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their
agendas past the voters.

1. I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my butt that it is unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.

I'll keep my Freedom, my God and my Guns... You keep the Change...
