A Republican will win the presidential election next year, according to a computer model projection by Reuters.
Two factors weighed heavily in the model's conclusion, one of them being dissatisfaction with President Obama.
First, there's a historical trend of voters not backing the party in power when the incumbent isn't up for re-election. Reuters said a successor candidate is three times less likely to win.
Second, the model found that a sitting president generally must have an approval rating of 55% for a successor candidate to win, and right now President Obama falls 10 points short of that.
So why trust a computer when we have non-stop polling to tell us who leads the pack?
Because polls are actually pretty inaccurate, according to Reuters, and on average are wrong by 8% compared to the outcome of an election. That's a wider gap than you often see between candidates in the general election.

MIKULSKI, CARDIN ANNOUNCE MORE THAN $64 MILLION IN FEDERAL ENERGY ASSISTANCE FUNDING FOR LOW-INCOME MARYLAND FAMILIES
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Barbara A. Mikulski and Ben Cardin (both D-Md.) today announced that $64,818,928 in federal energy assistance funds will be available to Maryland families struggling to pay their heating bills this winter through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). In fiscal year 2014, Maryland LIHEAP provided 117,748 households with LIHEAP financial assistance.
“No family should be forced to choose between paying the heating bill and putting food on the table,” Senator Mikulski said. “Too many people are being stretched and stressed by high energy costs. This critical energy assistance for low income families will help those most in need care for themselves and their families as winter approaches.”
“LIHEAP is an indispensable lifeline for the most vulnerable among us. Seniors facing economic hardships and low-income families never should have to make grim choices over which basic necessities they can afford, and LIHEAP helps ensure that they never reach this point,” said Senator Cardin. “I want struggling Marylanders to know that they have strong federal partners to provide the assistance they need, and I appreciate the responsiveness of the Department of Health and Human Services to our requests that this funding be made available.”
In October, Senators Mikulski and Cardin along with 37 bipartisan Senate colleagues sent a letter to Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell requesting the funding be made available. That letter is available here.
Eligibility for LIHEAP is based on income, family size, and the availability of resources.

A VERY SERIOUS FOOTBALL QUESTION...
I KNOW MANY OF YOU LOOK FORWARD TO THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON. WELL, HERE'S A LITTLE RECAP OF LAST YEAR...
Alabama beat Arkansas and Arkansas fired their coach.
Alabama beat Tennessee and Tennessee fired their coach.
Alabama beat Auburn and Auburn fired their coach.
Then Alabama beat Notre Dame, and the Pope resigned.
Question: How do we get the White House to play Alabama?

Maryland officials lending reflective vests for Halloween
WASHINGTON — Evenings are getting darker as winter approaches, so the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) wants to help keep kids, and their adult chaperones, stay safe this Halloween.
The State Highway Administration will be lending out reflective vests at highway maintenance shops across the state, as part of the annual Vests for Visibility Program.
The vests are designed to be worn over clothing — or costumes — and help increase pedestrians’ visibility.
The vests will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at most SHA maintenance facilities, during the days leading up to the holiday. They may be picked up between Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The vests must be returned by Friday, Nov. 6.

Worcester County Homicide Under Investigation
(Pocomoke City, MD) – Police continue to search for a known suspect as Maryland State Police continue their investigation into the murder of a Worcester County man this afternoon in Pocomoke City.
The victim is identified as Derrick Collick, 25, of the 200 block of 10th Street, Pocomoke City, Md. His body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
The accused is identified as Kaniesha Johnson, 22, (pictured below) of the unit block of Bradley Court in Pocomoke City, Maryland. Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Johnson and a search is currently underway. Police have obtained a photo and are asking for public assistance in locating her. Calls are being taken by Worcester County Bureau of Investigation at 410-632-1111.
Shortly after 1:00 p.m. today, officers from the Pocomoke City Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a domestic dispute at a gas pump, outside of a convenient store in the 600 block of Lynn Haven Drive in Pocomoke City. Responding officers found Collick, the victim, at a nearby medical facility looking for help for what appeared to be a stab wound to his upper body. He was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The preliminary investigation indicates Collick was inside the convenient store at the time of the incident. Police believe he exited the store to help break up the domestic dispute at the gas pump when he was injured. Police also believe Collick knew the individuals involved in the dispute.
Investigators have been interviewing witnesses and residents in the area throughout the day. Crime scene evidence has been transported to the State Police Forensic Sciences Division crime laboratory for analysis. Anyone with information about this murder is urged to contact the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation at 410-632-1111.

Remind Those You Hold Dear to Watch Out For Deer
The Maryland State Police want you to remind your loved ones to watch out for deer as their mating season continues through November.
According to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, more than half of all collisions involving deer occur in October and November. Motorists should be more cautious during this time of year as ‘the rut’ or mating season for deer is in full swing in Maryland. Deer will cross the roads at any time day or night which can create hazardous driving conditions.
Here are a few driving tips to help prevent crashes:
Deer are most active at dawn and dusk so be especially watchful during these times.
One deer crossing the road maybe a sign of more deer about to cross. Watch for the other deer because they will blindly follow the leaders, mates or mothers.
Take note of deer-crossing signs and drive accordingly. Remember, they are there for a reason!
Do not drive beyond your headlights, give yourself enough time to see the deer and slow down.
Deer hooves have no traction on pavement. A deer may fall in front of your vehicle when it is trying to run away.
If a collision with a deer is unavoidable, take your foot off the accelerator and brake lightly. Keep your vehicle straight. Steering to miss the deer could put you in a more dangerous position. You could cause more damage to you and your vehicle by striking a guardrail, pole, embankment or another vehicle. If you do strike a deer, contact your local police department so arrangements can be made to remove the animal.

3 Questions They Should Have Asked Hillary About Benghazi, But Didn't (And Never Will)
The circus is back in town in Washington D.C. (actually, it’s part of a permanent residency), as a congressional panel spent Thursday peppering presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with questions about her role in the Benghazi consulate attack. The attack left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, and has been the subject of political scandal ever since, with Republicans claiming then-Secretary of State Clinton didn’t do enough to sufficiently fortify the security detail of the consulate.
It’s pure political theater, but sadly, no one on this congressional panel will ask the real questions to which Americans deserve answers. And this is because the real scandal presents questions that can’t be asked, because the answers indict the entire U.S. government.
What was our true geopolitical motive in Libya?
At its core, the 2011 NATO-backed rebels’ deposal of Libya’s dictator, Muammar Gaddafi, involved United States foreign policy interests. As with other recent military actions in the Middle East, it is part of a deep and blood-soaked history of coups that includes no less than35 countries.
Soon after 9/11, former General Wesley Clark was informed about a memo outlining how the U.S. government planned to “take out” seven countries in five years. Those countries included Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan, and Iran.
According to many reports, this plan had been in the works since the 1990s, when the neoconservative think tank, Project For A New American Century —which was presided over by stalwart war profiteers Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, and others— drew up plans for an all-out invasion of Iraq as early as 1998. This plan included comprehensive military actions throughout the Middle East, as described by General Clark.
The overthrow of Libya’ssecular-Arab nationalist regime was very much a part of this geopolitical coup, a predicate of which was protecting the petrodollar (which is a term used to describe the world’s dominant reserve currency, the U.S. dollar, which is based on petroleum exports) and establishing a permanent occupying force in the Middle East. WhenGaddafi announced in 2009 that he planned to nationalize the country’s oil reserves, he may have sealed his fate.
So, the question for then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be something like this: do you still support the administration’s decision to arm the terrorist group Al Qaeda (remember them?) in order to topple Gaddafi, destabilize the government, and allow the U.S. to install a puppet regime amenable to economic imperialism? The answer would not be politically expedient.
What was the role of Ambassador Stevens in supplying arms to Syria?

Hillary Clinton Monument Committee
My Dear Friends:
I have the distinguished honor of being on the Committee to raise $50 million for a monument to Hillary Clinton. We originally wanted to put her on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for two faces.
We then decided to erect a statue of Hillary in the Washington, D.C. Hall of Fame. We were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, or beside Barack Hussein Obama, who never told the truth, since Hillary could never tell the difference.
We finally decided to place it beside Christopher Columbus, the greatest Democrat of them all. He left not knowing where he was going, and when he got there he did not know where he was. He returned not knowing where he had been, and did it all on someone else's money.
Thank you,
Hillary Clinton Monument Committee

Missing Money? Report questions how states spent ObamaCare funds
The federal government awarded over $5 billion to help states set up ObamaCare exchanges, with the vast majority – $4.6 billion – going to 16 states and Washington, D.C.
But, according to a recent Government Accountability Office (GAO) report, much of that money has not been accounted for – and yet not returned, either.
So where did those taxpayer dollars go?
That’s the billion-dollar question.

"Righteousness exalteth a nation" -Crisis & Response of Past Presidents |
Shocking reports reveal Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS and Boko Haram fighters in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa beheading, kidnapping, enslaving and displacing millions of Christians, Kurds and other minorities. Evidence is mounting that the treaty negotiated with Iran will not prevent their development of nuclear weapons, which they have threatened to use against Israel. Has the world faced similar crises in the past, and if so, how did American Presidents respond? During World War II, Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt stated December 29, 1940: "No nation can appease the Nazis. No man can tame a tiger into a kitten by stroking it. There can be no appeasement with ruthlessness. There can be no reasoning with an incendiary bomb. We know now that a nation can have peace with the Nazis only at the price of total surrender... The American appeasers ignore the warning to be found in the fate of Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, and France... They call it a 'negotiated peace.' Nonsense! Is it a negotiated peace if a gang of outlaws surrounds your community and on threat of extermination makes you pay tribute to save your own skins? Such a dictated peace would be no peace at all." Reports are that drug cartels are using tunnels to bring terrorists across America's southern border, and that organizations bringing Muslim refugees into America are not screening out terrorists, raising the spectre of future dissension and internal strife. During World War II, when faced with a similar threat, Democrat President Franklin Roosevelt stated December 29, 1940: "Their secret emissaries are active in our own and in neighboring countries. They seek to stir up...dissension to cause internal strife. They try to turn capital against labor, and vice versa. They try to reawaken long slumbering racial and religious enmities which should have no place in this country... These trouble-breeders have but one purpose. It is to divide our people into hostile groups and to destroy our unity and shatter our will to defend ourselves. There are also American citizens, many of them in high places, who, unwittingly in most cases, are aiding and abetting the work of these agents. I do not charge these American citizens with being foreign agents. But I do charge them with doing exactly the kind of work that the dictators want done in the United States." FDR added May 16, 1940: "We have seen the treacherous use of the 'fifth column' by which persons supposed to be peaceful visitors were actually a part of an enemy unit of occupation. Lightning attacks, capable of destroying airplane factories and munition works hundreds of miles behind the lines, are a part of the new technique of modern war... We must be strong in heart and mind; strong in our faith... I, too, pray for peace...but I am determined to face the fact realistically that this nation requires also a toughness of moral and physical fiber... These are the characteristics of a free people...a people willing to defend a way of life that is precious to them all, a people who put their faith in God." |

REPORT: Seattle Wage Hike Off To ‘Pretty Bad Start,’ Kills 700 Jobs
Seattle, which recently passed a $15 minimum wage, has seen the loss of 700 restaurant jobs despite the rest of the state seeing huge increases, according to a Wednesday report.
In its report, the American Enterprise Institute looked at restaurant job growth in both Seattle and the rest of Washington. The state itself has gained 5,800 industry jobs since January. Seattle, however, lost 700 jobs in the same time. The state minimum wage is $9.47. Back in June Seattle passed its own minimum wage of $15 an hour. The city ordinance is designed to phase in over the course of several years. It will reach $15 an hour by 2017 for most employers.
“One likely cause of the stagnation and decline of Seattle area restaurant jobs this year is the increase in the city’s minimum wage,” the report speculated. “It looks like the Seattle minimum wage hike is getting off to a pretty bad start. Especially considering that restaurant employment in the rest of the state is booming, and nearly 6,000 more restaurant workers are employed today than in January.”

Maryland State Trooper involved in fatal shooting at Frederick gas station
A Maryland State Trooper shot and killed a man who used a stolen SUV to ram a police cruiser.
The shooting took place around 8:45 a.m. at the Sheetz gas off East Patrick Street when an on-duty trooper attempted to stop the man from leaving the station, according to MSP spokesman Greg Shipley.
Shipley said MSP believes the man deliberately rammed a responding Frederick Police officer's car before he was fired upon by another trooper from MSP's aviation command.
Emergency responders attempted CPR on the man in the parking lot outside the gas station before covering his body and blocking the scene with tarps.

A Message From Your Queen
As you know, my dear people, the last year for me has been an annus horribilus. The Royal House of Clinton has been tormented by questions about our handling of finances and subjected to tiresome questions about the tragic events in Benghazi - in the furthest regions of our empire. And, sadly, also questions about my Royal e-mails.
Nevertheless, I will not be daunted in my desire and commitment to serve you the people. For the next seventeen months I will be traveling among you as one of you, to listen to your deepest longings and needs. I will be with you in your Wal-Mart and beside you in your Burger Kings. I will drive with you down the busy interstate highways of our land sharing your poverty and needs with you.
How well I remember the days when the Duke of Arkansas and I were impoverished. After we were expelled from our Washington Palace we hardly had two mansions to rub together. We were so poor we had to remove thousands of dollars of china, flatware, carpets and gifts from the Washington Palace just to survive, only to be forced to return much of the treasures by Washington . Now, happily, benefactors from around our empire have given just enough for us to scrape by.
During those difficult times we had to cut back when our daughter was married. We only had three million dollars to spend on her wedding, and I remember our hopes as she moved into her $10 million Manhattan apartment that one day she would be able to move on from that humble abode to something more fitting. After working for MSNBC for a starting salary of a mere $600,000.00, what could she do.
So as I travel across our kingdom to meet you all, I will be listening and sharing with you. Then when the time for the royal election comes, I know I can count on you to crown me as your rightful monarch so that I can continue King Obama’s policies, and we can all live happily ever after.
Queen Hillary Rodham Clinton

Republicans view Donald Trump as most electable...
WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican voters view Donald Trump as their strongest general election candidate, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll that highlights the sharp contrast between the party's voters and its top professionals regarding the billionaire businessman's ultimate political strength.
Seven in 10 Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters say Trump could win in November 2016 if he is nominated, and that's the most who say so of any candidate. By comparison, 6 in 10 say the same for retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who, like Trump, has tapped into the powerful wave of antiestablishment anger defining the early phases of the 2016 contest.
"It's the lifelong establishment politicians on both sides that rub me the wrong way," said registered Republican Joe Selig, a 60-year-old carpenter from Vallejo, California. "I think Trump is more electable. He's strong. We need strength these days."
Trump and Carson are considered among the least electable general election candidates by the Republican Party's professionals, those who are in the business of helping candidates run campaigns and win elections.
Experienced political strategists note that winning a general election and winning the Republican nomination are often very different tasks. The GOP's most conservative voters — a group that is older and whiter than the nation as a whole — wield extraordinary influence in picking the nominee. Independents, moderate voters and minorities are far more important in general elections that draw many more people to the polls.
While Trump and Carson are popular in primary election polls, both have used divisive rhetoric in recent months that alienated some minorities. Trump called Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals during his announcement speech; while Carson said he would not support a Muslim presidential candidate.
"Republicans think (Democrat) Hillary (Rodham Clinton) is weaker than she is. They are wrong," said GOP operative Katie Packer, who was deputy campaign manager for 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney. "They think we don't need to win more women or more Hispanics to win. They're wrong."

Is that candy or Ecstasy? Halloween warnings spook parents
Parents across the country may have been spooked by warnings spread through social media in recent days, raising fears that Ecstasy tablets could be mistaken for brightly colored Halloween candy -- potentially putting children at risk.
Police in Jackson, Mississippi, posted about it on their Facebook page, and the warning went viral.
"If your kids get these for Halloween candy, they ARE NOT CANDY," the post said. "They are the new shapes of Ecstasy and can kill kids through overdoses!!!"
The photo showed Ecstasy tablets shaped like dominoes, skulls and Superman's shield, and urged parents, "When it doubt, throw it out."

This Maryland company just got into the business of cloning kittens
Germantown synthetic biology company Intrexon Corp. has had a hand in everything from cancer immunotherapy to biological pest control. Now, it’s ventured into the world of cloning kittens.
That’s right. Intrexon (NYSE: XON) acquired a company last year called ViaGen LC that recently announced it successfully delivered two litters of healthy cloned kittens for the first time. The Texas-based company specializes in cloning animals for genetic preservation in the livestock and equine industries.
Intrexon convinced ViaGen to pursue the companion animal market, said ViaGen CEO Blake Russell. ViaGen will officially launch that consumer service in January.
“I think the market is quite large,” Russell said.

‘Operation You’re Next’ aims to round up Brunswick County heroin dealers
Brunswick County Sheriff John Ingram has sent a clear message to heroin dealers in the area: “You’re next.”
The law enforcement agency’s latest operation of the same name is aiming to take down those who distribute the highly addictive, often fatal drug in an effort to tackle what Ingram describes as a regional epidemic.
During a press conference Friday, Ingram displayed the photos of 12 such alleged dealers who have already been charged. Another seven, he said, have warrants for their arrests. In all, he said the sheriff’s office is targeting 80 residents who have already been investigated and identified as dealers.
“If you are involved in dealing heroin in this county, you are next to be arrested and held accountable,” Ingram said. “With dealers, we’re locking every single one of them up, without question.”
Assistant District Attorney Chris Thomas said those convicted of trafficking will receive the minimum prison sentence for the crime–ranging from 70 to 290 months, depending on the amount of heroin they possess–regardless of past criminal records.

Government Implements Illegal “Gag Order” On National Weather Service And NOAA Employees
The power structure is beginning to panic as the public wakes up to the criminal climate engineering insanity. The growing police state is completely out of control and becoming unimaginably blatant with their actions. In recent weeks Washington has placed “gag orders” on the following agency employees, “The National Weather Service”, the “National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration”, and the “US Department of Commerce”. This is a massive red flag that should trigger alarm bells everywhere.
Bill Hopkins, the executive vice president for the National Weather Service employees organization (NWSEO) said this:
“As a taxpayer, I find it highly disturbing that a government agency continues to push gag orders to hide how they operate. This is the work of the American government, owned by the American public, and should be open to the American public.”
Jeff Ruch, the executive director “PEER” (Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility) said this about the “gag orders”.
“The National Weather Service is about the last place where national security-style secrecy rules need to be enforced,” Ruch noted that the broad scope of the gag orders put much of what goes on inside the agency under wraps. “Everyone is free to talk about the weather except for the people working inside the National Weather Service. Go figure.”

Donald Trump Versus "Dark Money"
GOP FRONTRUNNER DISAVOWS POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEES …
“Republican” presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has disavowed the work of nine super-PACs supporting his bid for the White House – and demanded they return all of the money they’ve raised on his behalf.
He also challenged every other presidential candidate to do the same … expressly rebuking “the dark money, donor class perpetuating a broken Washington, D.C.”
Who is he referring to? These people.
“I am self-funding my campaign and therefore I will not be controlled by the donors, special interests and lobbyists who have corrupted our politics and politicians for far too long,” Trump said. “I have disavowed all Super PAC’s, requested the return of all donations made to said PAC’s, and I am calling on all Presidential candidates to do the same. The character of our country is only as strong as our leaders – the only special interest I am beholden to is the American people and together we will Make America Great Again!”
Trump sent a letter to the nine super-PACs this week issuing his ultimatum.

Congressman Andy Harris Appointed to Select Investigative Panel
-Energy and Commerce Committee Panel to Investigate Abortion Practices-
WASHINTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris, M.D., (MD-01) was appointed by Speaker Boehner to the Select Investigative Panel of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. Earlier this year, videos were uncovered showing employees of the largest abortion provider in the country discussing the techniques and practices used to harvest and sell fetal organs. Ongoing investigations at three House committees unveiled the necessity for a select panel. The House passed H.Res. 461, “Establishing a Select Investigative Panel of the Committee on Energy and Commerce,” on October 7, 2015.
Congressman Harris’ medical and research background uniquely qualifies him to serve on the committee. For almost three decades, Dr. Harris cared for patients as an obstetric anesthesiologist at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital. As an obstetric anesthesiologist, he cared for women and their babies during birth. In addition, while on the faculty at Johns Hopkins, he performed medical research funded by the National Institutes of Health. His research focused on fetal cerebral blood flow and was performed on sheep in utero. This professional experience will allow him to provide a unique perspective on the process used by big abortion providers to harvest organs and the impact on the mother and baby.
Congressman Harris released the following statement on being appointed to this committee:
“It is an honor to be asked to serve on the select panel that will investigate the deeply disturbing activities that have been ongoing at abortion providers. As an obstetric anesthesiologist, it is particularly troubling for me to have learned that abortion providers alter the abortion procedure itself, in a way that prolongs the procedure and introduces additional risk, to harvest the desired fetal organs. This potentially places the woman at a higher risk for complications not only during the abortion procedure itself, but in future pregnancies as well.
“As a pro-life father of five, I am repulsed not only by the discussion itself, but also with the utter disregard these videos show for the value and dignity of preborn human life. A comprehensive investigation is necessary to learn the truth about the possibly illegal activities carried out by taxpayer-funded organizations. I look forward to playing a part in this vital investigation.”
In announcing the committee members, Speaker Boehner said:
“Recent videos exposing the abortion-for-baby parts business have shocked the nation, and demanded action. At my request, three House committees have been investigating the abortion business, but we still don’t have the full truth. Chairman Blackburn and our members will have the resources and the subpoena power to get to the bottom of these horrific practices, and build on our work to protect the sanctity of all human life.”
The panel will consist of 8 Republicans and 6 Democrats. Speaker Boehner announced that Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn (TN-07) will chair the panel. Including Congressman Harris, other members appointed to the panel are Congresswoman Diane Black (TN-06), Congresswoman Vicki Hartzler (MO-04), Congresswoman Mia Love (UT-04), Congressman Joe Pitts (PA-16), Congressman Larry Buschon, M.D., (IN-08), and Sean Duffy (WI-07).
Success Is Likelier When You Make People Happy They Helped You
We could all use a little help sometimes. And we all know that the best way to get help is to ask.
Of course it’s important to ask the right person. When I managed an accounting firm I had people ask me questions about taxes. When I left there to manage a dental practice I had people ask me questions about root canals. Great examples of asking the wrong person -- because while I was a highly innovative and successful manager and marketer, I would have been a terrible tax accountant or dentist.
But more than asking the right person, it’s important to develop the right relationship with that person before, and after, you seek their help. Most of my clients are in the business of providing professional services, many of them in an advisory role. So they get asked for their time and expertise a lot. Of course, when you coach, speak or write for business publications as I do, you get asked for help in every way imaginable.
There’s really only one secret to getting people to help you – you have to help them feel good about helping you.
It really is that simple. We all make decisions based on what makes us feel good, or at least “less bad.” You might be able to get someone to help you by using guilt. If their guilt avoidance is high, helping you will feel less bad than feeling guilty for saying no. But that won’t work on everyone, and it won’t work on anyone for every long. Besides, it just isn’t nice and I’m betting you are a nice person.
So let’s look at three really basic ways to make people feel good about helping you so that they’ll choose to do it again and again.

She Knew All Along
The House hearing on Benghazi reveals that Hillary Clinton’s spin about the attack was a politically expedient fiction.
Thanks to Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi testimony on Thursday, we now understand why the former secretary of state never wanted anyone to see her emails and why the State Department sat on documents. Turns out those emails and papers show that the Obama administration deliberately misled the nation about the deadly events in Libya on Sept. 11, 2012.
Don’t forget how we came to this point. Mrs. Clinton complained in her testimony on Capitol Hill that past Congresses had never made the overseas deaths of U.S. officials a “partisan” issue. That’s because those past deaths had never inspired an administration to concoct a wild excuse for their occurrence, in an apparent attempt to avoid blame for a terror attack in a presidential re-election year.
The early hints that this is exactly what happened after the murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans cast doubt on every White House-issued “fact” about the fiasco and led to the establishment of Rep. Trey Gowdy’s select committee.

McGraw Performs At Children's Hospital Benefit
Country music superstar Tim McGraw stopped in Baltimore Saturday night for a concert that benefits the University of Maryland Children's Hospital.
"Music is probably our earliest form of communication. In some way or another, it has the power to heal, it has the power to bring together, it has the power to create love and compassion and humility in people all over the world, and I'm glad that I can be a small, small part of that," McGraw said.
Celebrities, doctors and patients converged at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. One of the patients included Logan Reich, who has been playing football since he was 6.
"I play outside linebacker," Logan said.
He was benched earlier this year because of an injury.

Lawsuit Over Safety Nets At Major League Baseball Parks Details Dozens Of Fan Injuries Since July
A little more than three months ago, a class-action lawsuit filed against Major League Baseball called for the installation of safety nets that would extend all the way to both of the foul poles. The lead plaintiff in that complaint had not actually been struck by any errant balls or bats, but a newly amended complaint includes details on numerous recent fan injuries and near-misses, including 90 that have occurred since this lawsuit was first filed.

USPS Denies It Has Missing Damaged Package, Still Turns Down Customer’s Insurance Claim After Finding It
It’s always a good idea to purchase insurance for your packages, especially if you’re mailing something valuable. But even having that protection didn’t keep one USPS customer from ending up with broken equipment and no insurance payment to cover the cost of replacing or fixing it.
