You might not expect liberal Los Angeles, of all places, to be ground zero for anti-Obama sentiment, but that appears to be the case with a new, apparently grassroots campaign in the city. Posters have been spotted on utility poles and walls around town, depicting the president made up grotesquely as The Joker, the infamous Heath Ledger character in "The Dark Knight," with white face paint, dark eye shadow and smudged red lipstick. The word "socialism" is printed in bold, dark letters under the image of his face.
Nobody has come forward yet to claim responsibility for the posters, which, of course, only adds to the mystery and fuels Internet speculation.

Dont you mean corporate astro-turf?
...it's not taking very long for his true identity to come out
Hey Joe you should never insult the Rodeo Clowns. They are smart enough to be truthful even if it is comical and make people feel good. But then again they are dumb enough to get in a fenced area with a bull and let people see how dumb they are. I understand now how this relates. Obama wants to make you feel good and laugh then maybe you will not see his stupidity
This is the kind of stuff that for me separates one sided blogs with MSM.
Putting the heat on Obama doesn't bother me one bit however the picture disrespects all Americans as a whole.
Might as well disrespect FDR because he was crippled. True Americans should be above this.
The picture of Obama not helping Mr. Gates down the steps is fair game, photoshop is manufactured news.
I'd bet the farm this doesn't make the blogroll even from a McCain voter.
It is the truth. I guess you just can't handle the truth. He is a big clown ruining our country.
we are headed toward socialism. So what is the problem with the poster. All it does is speak the truth.
FDR started the socialism program with social security, then came medicare then medicaid, welfare, social sevices and other enities that get fooled into helping people that are perefctly capable of working.
