By The Grace Of God, We're Being Told Dr. Alvarado May Still Be Alive

We're hanging onto hope that the most recent information we have been given is accurate. While we had two sources very high up state that Dr. Alvarado passed, we've just been contacted by another source that has stated he may still be alive.

Folks, if you knew who our original sources were you'd clearly understand why we published his passing. While I never reveal ANY of my sources you'll simply have to trust what I'm telling you.

The outpouring of grief is overwhelming. As a courtesy to his Family and loved ones I will await and announcement from the Family before we make any more statements.

We'll keep you posted.

im a patient of his. he is my most favorite doctor and i truly hope he comes through i am praying for him. i just had an appointment with him a few months ago and he was looking great, full of energy, contacts, etc. he is a good man he has been my doctor since birth, which was 17 1/2 years ago so i dont have much time with him anymore as a doctor, which is to bad at 18. great doctor but most importantly a GREAT person. you will not meet a more gentler, passionate, kind person/doctor ANYWHERE

Just my opinion Joe, but I think you should probably slow dow a bit and try to verrify some info before you start posting headlines about a mans death. Being the first to break a "story" isn't always a good thing, or appropriate.

You have to pull through this!!! You are a wonderful doctor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time.

My daugher is a patient in Dr. Alvarado's practice. I wouldn't have chosen another doctor when she was born and she is now 7. I love the way he practices medicine. God has blessed my daughter with the best physicians since birth and Dr. Alvarado is included in that group.

I have utmost respect for his medical judgement. My daughter has never had a fear of going to the doctor and really looks forward to her doctor visits. I attribute this in part to the way he and his staff run the practice.

My family's thoughts and prayers are certainly with Dr. Alvarado, his family and his office family at this time. We pray for complete and total restoration and healing.

Dr. A. is the most kind, gentle, caring individual i have ever met. He truly is an angel here on this earth. I feel so blessed to have him in our families life and to be my childrens doctor. They don't come better than him. I allways look forward to those smiling eyes everytime I see him. Doctor Alverado and family you are in our prayers.

Am hoping the doc is okay...but what about Monday NIGHT in Pittsville, just across from the Electric Company on Old Ocean City Road (Rt 346)? I was driving home from work, emergency vehicles everywhere. I can't be sure, but I think someone was struck walking on the road, they were in the field, looked like they'd been knocked clean out of their shoes.

I couldn't see much, it was foggy/misty about 9:25PM.

Appeared they were working on a male in the soybean field. Any updates on that?

yes they are all so great!!!

We do not need to criticize him for posting anything. He would not intentionally jump the gun on something so serious, he is smarter than that. Granted it was shocking but he has credible sources. We should be thankful that he is reporting the information and giving us a forum to communicate with close friends and family to get up to date information.

YOU ARE WRONG! Look at my new Post.

Joe, I have been told (from a family member) that Dr. A is brain dead. So while he technically has not passed, as they have not yet pulled all the plugs that would allow his other body functions to cease (heart), he is gone.

i hope 11:21 this is not true. I pray for his family he IS the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry to hear about this Dr's accident. I have cried over it knowing that he is one of the best peditricians around here. I know this through patience of his. He is not my childrens' doctor. I know he is a relious man by the posts. It is my guess, he did not keep his faith a secret. Knowing one of the children he worked with, I know he did the best he could keeping this child alive. He would not want us writing negative things about anyone, including his personal life. We need to pray, as that is what he believed in. We are not in control here. This is between God and himself. God will do what is right by Him. If He wants Dr. A in heaven, that is his calling. Just pray for him and his family, whatever God chooses.
