Marylanders Want Wind Power, Even If It Costs More

Most Marylanders are in favor of paying $2 more a month for greener electricity produced through offshore wind, according to a new poll conducted by Gonzales Research.

It's a no brainer for 2 extra bucks a month. From what I've read so far wind power can't be delivered at close to that price.

Wind power DOUBLE electric bills in Spain and the UK & it helped to cripple Spain's economy.

and based on the power company... wind power wont lower your rates nor will it cover your cost in the long run...

i think the two dollars a month is not for wind power its for a study.

so what happens when it turns out to be tenfold? who pays? any guarantees? why whould we believe them? who did the study? Are we to accept this blindly?

no one asked me...I'm not! We pay TOO MUCH now for electricity. 700 + in january & february, half that in december., less than 1/4 th in october...
