Fighter Jets Escort Plane To Baltimore

Air Force Says Plane Entered Restricted Air Space

BALTIMORE -- The Air Force had to scramble fighter jets to intercept an aircraft that entered restricted airspace above the nation's capitol on Monday.


Officers with the North American Aerospace Defense Command said two F-16 fighters escorted the plane out of the airspace near the National Capital Region about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
