THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM FRIDAY TO 7 PM EST SATURDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
A STORM SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO TODAY WILL PASS OFF THE CAROLINA COAST FRIDAY NIGHT AND THEN CONTINUE TO THE NORTHEAST ON SATURDAY. SNOW FROM THIS SYSTEM WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION FROM SOUTH TO NORTH FRIDAY AFTERNOON...THEN CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF SATURDAY. SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 12 TO 18 INCHES ARE EXPECTED NEAR THE DELAWARE AND CENTRAL NEW JERSEY COAST WITH UP TO 24 INCHES POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY AND THE CENTRAL DELMARVA. STRENGTHENING WINDS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY WILL CREATE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WHICH WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO UNDER ONE-QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.
A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED. FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS AND POOR VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY. THIS WILL LEAD TO WHITEOUT CONDITIONS...MAKING TRAVEL EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS FROM YOUR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

Global Warming / Climate change does not mean that it gets warmer everywhere. It means that when polar caps melt an upsurge is created in water streams which in turn causes extreme storm and other unusual weather events. Naturally in the winter time, those storms present themselves in the form of snow.
Why is this so difficult to understand?
Here are some facts from National Geographic:

But, of course there is always a notion that NG writer are a bunch of Obama loving, Koolaid drinking liberal. That argument always seems to disprove any scinetific fact.

Man you are behind, Dr. Mann was cleared of professional misconduct. No formal allegations were ever made, but they launched an inquiry. No temperature records were ever faked, unless you have proved it, please give me your insight. And are you talking about having the date wrong on when the Himalayan icecaps will melt? Does having the date wrong really prove anything. If you have any overwhelming evidence though, please fill us in. I believe you repeat what you hear without really doing any research on your own. In other words, you do not understand what you talk about, and that makes you a very dangerous person.
My wife being a democrat, thought she was responsible for global warming when she was going through the change. She even had dreams that Al Gore was following her around Delmar.
THE State Agencys need to revert back to the 70,s.Get help from the state prisoners, they cleaned streets,bridges,helped supply trucks,under the supervision of stae workers/correctional personnel.The prisioners were also used to clean county roads and all the above also.They were given gloves and all esentials to do the job. But I assume that is below the adminastrators thinking in these times. Coddle the Rapists, theifs and let them watch TV>
anon 4:09 you are one to talk about not knowing what you are talking about you are quick to talk about the ice melting in certain areas but fail to mention that glaciers ind artic ice is actually growing in certain areas .and please let us not forget about the famous polar bear picture taken of a mother polar bear that was thin it is common for o polar bear not to eat for up to four months and if they are so endangered why are they ready to come of the protected list?
