(Oct. 21) -- Teacher's aides severely abused special-needs children at a Montana school, the families of five students charge. One mother describes what her autistic son was subjected to as "waterboarding-like torture."
Julie Parish and Kristina Marie Kallies, who have resigned as aides, are charged with assault on a minor and endangering the welfare of children. Parish appeared in court Monday and was released on bond. Police are still looking for Kallies, KFBB reported.
Parents of students who were in the 7th and 8th grade special-ed class at North Middle School in Great Falls last school year sat in the courtroom, some holding photos of their kids.
