CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida – Is it a bird? Is it a bug? Or maybe even a drone?
The explosion that destroyed billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX rocket on the launch pad last Thursday is suddenly getting fresh attention, as video suggests there may have been foul play involved.
The video posted on YouTube by Steve Svensson appears to display a small, spherical object flying over the rocket as it burst into flames.
“It appears that SpaceX may have been shot by a very fast moving drone, or possibly an explosive in the satellite was triggered?” he wrote in his description.
“We all know people love to hate Elon Musk.”

No hate for any specific person involved.A massive energy expenditure into the atmosphere at 360 degrees can no longer be tolerated.Go back to your basic physics class, where every action has an equal and opposite reaction. We cannot comprehend the environmental damage caused by such an irresponsible burst of energy. But THEY can,and rocket mishaps will continue until we begin using alternative methods of propulsion. We have such methods but have opted not to use them, because such methods of propulsion would then fall into the hands of hostile governments.
Conspiracy theory and environmental nut jobs...all in one artice and reply. Wow. No pulitzers coming out of here
It was a drone, but not of this Earth.
When folks begin to die from an unknown virus, then you will know.
Birds Against Elon Musk says...
OOPS! Just flew by and saw your rocket blow up!
Glad it happened, that jerk that owns Facebook deserves to loose money!
Another eastern shore MENSA candidate.
it was George Bush's fault
8:36 PM are you dumb or stupid???? You do know Facebook has nothing to do with Elon Musk right???
Elon started pay-pal and then sold it... Started Tesla to help fun his SpaceX program... He has since acquired Solar City... He has nothing to do with Facebook... Mark Suckerburg is the owner and creater and operator of Facebook which is funded by DARPA...
Musk is an intelligence asset.
He invented nothing.
These technologies are created by teams of people in Langley.
