The Worcester County Commissioners are pleased to announce that Bobby Cowger of Pocomoke City has been hired to head up the new Worcester County Department of Liquor Control (DLC).
Mr. Cowger has experience both as the former Director of the Worcester County Liquor Control Board (LCB) from 2001 through 2005 and the current independent Liquor Consultant for Worcester County, making him ideally suited to lead the newly created DLC. He will assume this position in conjunction with the County’s assumption of LCB operations on July 1, 2011.
“Having Mr. Cowger at the helm will help assure that the DLC can hit the ground running,” said Commission President James C. “Bud” Church. “His knowledge coupled with the trust he has already established with the liquor licensees will help assure a smooth transition from the independent Liquor Control Board to the Worcester County DLC.”
In addition to his work experience, Mr. Cowger has and continues to be very active in the Community. He served two separate terms as the Pocomoke representative on the Board of Worcester County Commissioner, the first from 1995 to 1998 and the second from 2006 to 2010. He has also been an active member of the Pocomoke Volunteer Fire Company for more than 25 years, serving two terms as president, and is a member of the Salem United Methodist Church.

Bobby Cowger is a joke. The only reason he took this job because he ran the company that he bought into the ground. Bobby Cowger is a crooked as they come.

I might have made some grammar mistakes but everything I said was the truth. Bobby Cowger is a lying P.O.S. who has no business running anything.
