Delaware State Police between May 8, 2009 and June 24, 2010 investigated 7 burglaries at the Midessa Farm located on Twin Willows Road Smyrna Delaware.

During the burglaries the suspect would force entry into barns and remove televisions, computer equipment, chain saws, gas, food and drink products, power tools and an air conditioner. All told the thieves stole approximately $4,500 worth of merchandise. State Police on August 2, 2010 was investigating a separate incident involving Michael B. McBride and obtained information linking him to numerous burglary complaints at the Midessa Farm on Twin Willows Road.

State Police Wednesday August 11, 2010 formally arrested Michael B. McBride on 23 burglary, theft and criminal mischief charges. McBride was released on $54,000 unsecured bond.

Delaware State Police is continuing their investigation and believe others may have assisted McBride during these burglaries.
