Frank Kratovil Supports More Debt

Frank Kratovil voted to increase the deficit again. What sense does it make to replace state deficits, especially for states that have been fiscally irresponsible, with more federal debt that the U.S. must borrow or monetize ? But in the trillion dollar phony world being created, what's another measly $26 billion.

And what a deal .... public-sector unions make sure liberal Democrats get elected, and liberal Democrats make sure government employees are guaranteed ever-increasing salaries and sweet pension deals, whether they are affordable or not!. It’s a win-win situation, except for the taxpayer who has to carry the load.

Pelosi House Passes $26 Billion Union Bailout Bill
Congress recesses, but the post-election Lame Duck session will be a nightmare for Americans.

By TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty

The House of Representatives had recessed last Friday, but Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) brought the House back into session on August 10 to ram through a $26 billion bailout for teachers and labor unions.

The vote was 247-161. The union bailout is a payoff to the unions who supported Obama's election in 2008. It is designed to fill the coffers of union organizers for the upcoming mid-term elections.

How convenient. Use taxpayer dollars to fund union political activities, which are invariably directed toward liberal causes and activities.

The Worse Is Yet To ComeIf you thought the past two years was a nightmare for America, wait until the Lame Duck session after the elections are over. Democrats expect to sustain heavy losses in this election cycle, but they have a plan: Ram through every horrible job killing, anti-free market, anti-moral legislation they can before they lose control in January when a new Congress begins.

Pelosi realized that she couldn't get dozens of liberal bills through before the election because it would anger middle America and make more casualties of Democrats than she already expects.
After the election, the corrupt politicians who were defeated have nothing to lose until January. They can do whatever they want without electoral consequences.

What's ahead? I suspect that liberals will try to ram through a number of terrible bills. My list is hardly exhaustive, but here are a few items: Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). ENDA will destroy religious liberty as we have known it in America. If it is challenged, the Sotomayor/Kagan/Kennedy Supreme Court will undoubtedly uphold it.

Cap & Tax (Trade) Legislation: Democrats are still clinging to the debunked notion that human activity is responsible for alleged "climate change" – and that the only way to solve it is through draconian punishment of businesses. The only impact that Cap & Tax legislation will have on America is to destroy our economy and slowly reduce us to a Third World nation.

Repeal Of Law Banning Homosexuals From Openly Serving In the Military: The Pentagon is conducting a survey to be completed in December that describes how repeal of a 1993 law against gays serving in the military will impact the military. Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-PA), however, is pushing legislation now that will repeal the 1993 law.

START Treaty Between U.S. & Russia: If this treaty is ratified by the U.S. Senate, America will be more at risk than ever from nuclear attacks.

Spending/Stimulus: Spending will explode in a Pelosi-Reid lame duck Congress. We already have a $1.6 trillion deficit this year alone! Deficits will top $1 trillion each year until 2020, totaling over $18 trillion – $74,000 per American household – with no end in sight.Massive Tax Hikes: Obama is trying to tax everything from tanning salons, to Internet sales, to ATM withdrawals. His own Treasury Secretary projects $3trillion in new choking taxes over the next ten years!

Employee Free Choice Act: This misnamed bill will strip American workers of the right to a secret ballot in union elections.

Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) Stands Up!During the final hours of the congressional session before the August recess, Rep. Tom Price offered a resolution that would prohibit the Congress from enacting any legislation other than emergency bills during the Lame Duck Session. His resolution, of course, was quickly voted down.

Rep. Price's resolution is worth reading and remembering as you head to the voting booth this November.

In it, Price outlines the outrageous antics of Speaker Pelosi and her band of drunken tax spenders during the past several years.

Keep FightingWe will continue to uphold traditional values, fiscal responsibility, and a strong national defense during the new Congress.

Please don't lose hope or stop fighting with us to protect this great nation from the assaults from liberals, socialists, Islamists, and LGBT activists.

Remember: This is not only a war in the natural world, but it is a spiritual war as well. Pray, pray and continue to pray for our work and for our nation.

Where's you article that reads "Republicans Support More Debt?" After all that is exactly what extending the Bush tax cuts/policy does.

So much elephant dung I don't know where to begin. When will we stop allowing both the elephants and donkeys to crap everywhere and hold these guys accountable to the truth. If your ideals/principles/policy stances are so good, then you should be able to persuade us without fudging the numbers or demonizing your opponent.

Nothing would crush the economy more at this time than letting the tax cuts expire. It would take what little spending money people have at this time out of the economy. If taxes are raised now, people will not spend any money, further crippling the economy. Taxes will need to eventually be raised in order to bring down the deficit, but not in this economy. In fact, one of the reasons that the job market has not been better, is because of the health care and other regulations imposed by this government. The cost of bringing on new employees is too much at this time. Business drives the economy, not the government.

Why do Republicans have to lie to win? This bill adds nothing to deficit. Just argue that you don't support helping teachers and police, but don't lie about the bill just to win the debate.
