The October Surprise Is Coming

The October Surprise. We all know it's coming. In what shape, idea, form -- who's to say? Evil always surprises. Its goals are constant, the ultimate objective never changes, but inevitably it manifests itself as the savior of the day, the savior of man. The 2008 Democrat October Surprise that ushered in the first hardcore radical post-American president in American history was the "economic collapse." Oh yes, that was a beaut.

The time before that, the moochers and the looters tried to fake Bush documents -- except that the conservative blogosphere caught them red-handed, so they missed their mark.

But the party of haters, infiltrators, anti-capitalists, the party that is anti-freedom and anti-individual rights, is going to have to pull off something really catastrophic to stay in power this November. And they will, because it is abundantly clear now that they despise the premise of America and they mean to replace it with statism, the source of untold, incomprehensible human misery for centuries.

Ayn Rand wrote of statism that

"a statist system -- whether of a communist, fascist, Nazi, socialist or 'welfare' type -- is based on the ... government's unlimited power, which means: on the rule of brute force. ... Under statism, the government is not a policeman, but a legalized criminal that holds the power to use physical force in any manner and for any purpose it pleases against legally disarmed, defenseless victims."

With chilling prescience, Rand said, "The basic principle and the ultimate results of all statist doctrines are the same: dictatorship and destruction. The rest is only a matter of time."

Only a matter of time.

We have a long and terrible fight in front of us. The fight is as big as the idea, the foundation, the being of this great nation, the fight for America. Yes, it's as big as all that, and the enemy is ruthless, unscrupulous, and evil -- and willing to do whatever it takes to assume absolute control. They build nothing, produce nothing, create nothing, invent nothing. They steal. They demand. They demoralize. They are destroyers.

What will October's Surprise be?

They will say they're going to forgive debts on mortgages and pay for it with social security .

Boy oh boy, it's just a shame that there are idealogue loonies on the right that believe this crap.

#1 How did the Dems. engineer the 2008 collapse?

#2 I seem to remember a certain swift boat group going after Kerry in the waning months of the election

#3 You have to be a dumb@$$ to believe either party holds a premium on "evil"

#1 Ignorant to the fact banking was about to collapse in spite of warnings .
#2 These swift boat guys served with Kerry and knew what he was about and have the right to let others know .
#3 The Democrat party is in power and yea they are evil . These are the rumors that are leaking out .

Wake up my friend we all need to all together

So 12:50,
#1 I don't recall any Reps. sounding the alarm. In fact, weren't they pushing for even less regulation? Does that make them "evil"
#2 Think you might want to factcheck the swiftboaters. Sounds like you were one of the dummies that got caught up in the BS.
#3 Also please look up the definitiion of "evil" and "rumor". You guys would be hilarious if there wasn't so many of you going to the polls.

#1 you use FoxSnooze footage. Although this fits the conservative narrative, the idealogues seem to forget all about the role of investors in this whole crisis. Many would argue that it was actually speculators and investors that created a world-wide problem in the system. Not to mention, with control of both arms of congress and the exec, you mean to tell me the strong invincible men of the Rep. party couldn't get anything done in the face of partisan stonewalling? How Obama of them.

#2 I assume you didn't take the time to factcheck the swift boaters b/c you sound like a ideaological fool. I guess the DOD and the Navy made the whole thing up because they knew he would be running for Pres. 30 years later.

#3 tell me more about the evil boogeyman. Can I please see some of this evidence to how you have lost rights in the last 1.5 years?

2:43 # 1 Who cares if it was on FOX NEWS the warnings were there apparently your news outlets aren't giving you the facts .
#2 The swift boat vets for truth said that Kerry's tales were a "willful distortion of the conduct" is this hard to believe I mean the man is a tax cheat !
#3 Obama is getting all his ducks in a row lets take health care that they are forcing unwilling Americans to buy for starters .

3;13 I can go all day.

#1 you missed the previous point. I look at the whole story, not just a one-sided narrative. It's the right's m.o. to blame Freddie and Fannie when it was speculators that made this thing go worldwide.

#2 Again, you use the words of some dudes drug up from the shadows during an election campaign (www.factcheck.org/article231.html). No wonder the idealogues on both sides fall for the same crap every election cycle.

#3 The only reason you are against that provision is because it's not a republican provision. You hem haw about uninsured Mexicans driving up the cost of healthcare. Well what do you think uninsured Americans do?

All educated and aware poeple agree --- it was Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac backing home loans to people who could not afford the rent on a boat trailer, much less a $250,00+ mortgage, mostly to poor and minority applicants, that caused the meltdown of our economy. Evwerything else flowed from that scenario. EVERYTHING. And we stand around blaming this or that and waiting for politicians to fix it...lol. They are going to "fix it" all right...fix it so they can continue to get rich. Thats all they are going to do....and this housing issue is VERY far from being over...stay tuned...

3:37 You can dodge issues all day like all good liberals .

#1 Bush warned for year's in advance among others the banking queen Barney Frank came out and said Freddie and Fanny were strong right before the collapse he and Chris Dodd looked the other way or just incompetent .
#2 Do you have any evidence that the vets are not telling the truth ?
#3 I'm against it because it's wrong and we can't afford it . Don't get me wrong I could use it but that doesn't make it right. I don't expect nor want the government in my life more than it is already .

It was not lower income houses that collapsed the real estate market. It was middle class people hoping to cash in on the speculation that drove prices higher and higher. During the busting of the bubble I had no problem selling a starter house to lower-income buyers. Take a look at the houses that sit empty. They're not at the low end of the scale.

10:27 Bull crap it was the federal government who regulated the banking industry and forced them to lower their standards and make high risk loans . Everybody jumped on board and upgraded over their head . Clinton really started this crap . Government needs to keep an eye on the private sector not run it !
