I think your ignorant trying to get somebody fired in this economy !

anonymous 12:33, you're a wet pants liberal. They should be ticketed. If they do it a second time, they should be fired. Look, these are PRIVATE Company vehicles, not municipal vehicles. I guess all Taxi Cabs should have the right to park there too, right?

Anonymous said...

Really, isn't there anything else to talk about other than where commercial ambulance park at.

J.Albero said...

anonymous 12:56, clearly not, since you too have chimed in with a comment.

I'll add, these are NOT emergency vehicles and do NOT belong there.

They are rent a taxi for the sick. Just like Rent A Cops.

Anonymous said...

well actually they are emergency vehicles. even though box units run more emergency calls than vans.

Anonymous said...

Yes where this is illegal and should get a ticket (my opinion a warning)this is sooooo minor to the real crime that is going on in this area. Pathetic reason to get your panties in a wad.

J.Albero said...

anonymous 1:10 only pathetic because you're one of the drivers and or with the FD. To the other Idiot who claims these ARE emergency vehicles, NO THEY'RE NOT!

You may get your rocks off turning on the lights and sirens and THINK you're a wanna be EMT but unless you're working and representing the Fire Department, you're a rent a cop.

Albero you are such a p^ssy. Why don't you get a life and STFU. There is nothing wrong here, just obvioiusly pisses you off. No one cares.

J.Albero said...

anonymous 1:24, aka rent a medic, seems to me I used my name, you didn't. Therefore everyone coming here will know who the p^ssy really is.

Too Funny....

I can tell you this...I have been on both sides..both fire/ems police....This is a sign of disrespect and total laziness...Just think of the many people that are transported that cant walk...Be glad U can walk and park in a legal parking spot and walk ur happy azz into wherever and get your food or drink on....I totally agree..First time you get a ticket next time a tow, ticket and call to the owner of the business....Also as an owner I would be pissed that my employees would do this to cause pics to be taken and embarrass my business....

Anonymous said...

I wish they would ticket the cars in, Giant plaza, that park in front of the liquor store. Pure lazy people who always seem to have a fat a--. Wonder why, walk a little.

Anonymous said...

where are these vehicles parked at?

Anonymous said...

I agree with Joe on this one. Whether they are or are not "Emergency Vehicles" they do not reserve the right to park in that space unless they are answering a call. I understand its convience to park right beside the door, but these guys of all people should know the hazards of parking in these designated areas.

Whats with Hart to Heart anyway, I saw one in Princess Anne not long ago and it had Delaware tags? Whats the differnce between them and if I call 911 just needing an ambulance?

Anonymous said...

Everyone with lights and a siren think they are special.

Anonymous said...

A-holes can't read, I don't want them to transport me anywhere. If they can't read the no-parking signs how do you expect them to give quality care in transport? These p.o.s. drivers are no better than anyone else so why should they be treated any different than the rest of us? That also goes for the a-holes that park in front of the grocery stores in the loading zone and go in the store. Come on JERKS that what they spent all of the money on the parking lot for, PARK IN IT.

Please all of you shut up.
These people are better than you and you are just jealous or want to be the caliber these people are.
Now go on your low life and leave us higher class more important people alone.
We are above you and the law.
Go put money in the parking meter and shut up!

Anonymous said...

where are these vehicles at? the post said they are getting "free drinks". please explain.

Anonymous said...

WaWa!!!!!! South....If u have a uniform, and belong to FD, PD etc... u get a free drink.....

Anonymous said...

Joe is exactly right! They are not emergency vehicles! They are a PRIVATE transport company, for the sick, as Joe stated. Parking in fire lanes is illegal no matter what! I get so tired these people requesting/getting FIRE/POLICE discounts and they are simply not such!

Thanks Joe for putting this out there and shining light on this I agree with this post 100 percent.

@2:49- I hope your comment was a joke. But if not.
Who are you? How are you better than other people? And why would anyone ever want to be of "the caliber" of a "higher class" pompous @ss like yourself?
You need a life. Jerk.

This barely makes any sense what so ever. So I am going to guess your just someone who really has no interest in this at all just looking to stir up some trouble. Well you got it, you my friend are a worthless life draining leach on society and should probably go back to grade school where they will teach you basic grammer...

Good job Joe he deserves to get a ticket if it were you or I the police would ticket us, but not their donut eating friends!!!

Anonymous said...

I'm wondering how the vehicle can get a ticket since I haven't seen a single thing in either picture which would indicate it's a firelane. From what I can read from the sign, it reads, "No loitering. No soliciting. No skateboarding." The painted markings do not make that area a fire lane.

The County and the incorporated cities should get on the same page and adopt standarized signage and markings for fire lanes and handicap zones. Fire lanes should be red curbing, and handicap spaces should all be posted with the same sized sign and all with the same wording. The fine for parking in either should be $100 or higher.

I use to work for STINKSTAR AMBULANCE and they are not 911 Emergency Vehicles they are Commercial Emergency Vehicles a Taxi for the sick if you will and the point is they don't belong there any more than the general public. I don't think this is a fireable offense unless it's habitual.

Don't hate, Just join us and you too can bask in all of the privileges of being a part of the "chosen ones"! (in an evil laugh), ha haha ha!!!

Actually, local fire departments and personnel in uniform no longer receive the "free drink" at Wawa. The only time is when actually returning from a fire. They stopped the incentive about 3 months ago. I'm not for or against, merely stating the facts.

Anonymous said...

Hilarious that the two 4:32's cannot understand sarcasm. It's so obvious a CAVEMAN could understand it!

Former Wawa employee said...

FYI - This is a loading zone for trucks to bring in product.

I feel like a need a shower every time I comment on this site, but here I go...

Companies such as Lifestar and Hart to Heart exist MAINLY for the purpose of transporting patients to and from various medical facilities for various reasons. It could be a person from a nursing home that needs to see a specialist at another facility, it could be a child that was badly burned being taken from a local trauma center to the burn center. By doing this, they save US tax dollars and keep "Emergency Ambulances" on the road and available for service. If they didn't exist, your local Fire Department ambulance would be taking these same people where they need to go... that is how it used to be. So they definitely serve a purpose.

They ARE emergency vehicles. They are not GOVERNMENT emergency vehicles and they rarely (more likely never) respond to emergencies, but they do, rarely, function as emergency vehicles. Thats why they have lights and a siren.

I agree with most of you, there is absolutely NO reason for them to be parked where they are, but why so much hate?

Anonymous said...

THEY DO THE SAME THING AT RITA'S ITALIAN ICE..BLOCKING PEOPLE IN SO THEY CAN GET FASTER SERVICE!!!! JUST PLAIN LAZY IF U ASK ME!!!!!

Anonymous said...

432..its funny you call someone out on "grammer" when its actually spelled "grammar".....no charge

10:40 PM

Hey Stinky, have you had your shower yet?

They are not real ambulances, they are nothing more than taxis doing the Wrinkled Butt Shuffle that just happen to have emergency equipment. They are for profit ambulances that are in the business to gouge insurance companies. Like Joe said the employees are nothing more than rent-a-medics. These people are mostly rejects who can't get a job with a real 911 provider. Some have real jobs and use this as additional income, but not many. Some of these rejects don't want a real job because of incompetence and they take on the role of rent-a-medic. Many of these rejects have been scraped from the bottom of the barrel and that is no lie. They are frothing at the mouth for an opportunity to turn on the lights and sirens so they can get their cookies off. Sad isn't it!

I would like to first say that I was the driver of the Hart to Heart ambulance that is parked there. I do appologize for parking in a LOADING ZONE. But, I would also like to say that i get my EMT certification with all the other emt's that work for Salisbury fire and many other fire depts. I am also a volunteer firefighter/emt for a fire company and have been a emt/firefighter for over 15 yrs.
Again, i am coming on here and apologizing for my actions and that this will not happen again. I love doing the job i do which is transport sick people to and from the hospital and to and from doctors offices. there are many employees for the "rent a cop" organizations that you see in the picture here that are also volunteer firefighters/emts for salisbury fire, parsonsburg, and ocean city fire depts. I do take offense to the name calling and demeaning that has happened on this blog. I hope that everyone understands that mistakes happen and that I hope that these companies and their awesome employees dont pay the price for such a small offense.

To everyone!!! You know about 9 years ago something happen to this country that everyone swore they wouldnt forget. Does 9-11-2001 Ring a Bell. Right after 9-11 everyone gave praise to Firefighter's EMT's and Police officer's. Heck i was sitting at a restraunt eating lunch with 6 other Firefighter EMT's on duty and had a complete stranger buy all our meals. Almost 9 short years later the best we can do is complain about two ambulances parked on the back side of a building and the EMT's getting a free fountain soda. The People that work for these companies carry the same exact certifications as The "REAL EMTS". Oh yeah and the ambulance's are certified by the same state agency as the "REAL AMBULANCE". So the next time one of you whiners hears a song or reads a sticker about 9-11 maybe then you will remember. We all have a job to do so that others can enjoy their lives. It doesn't mater if your job is on a Ambulance, flying a plane, being a teller at your local bank, writing blogs on the internet or maybe even a car salesman. It doesnt give anyone the right to degrade someone else's job.
