Would YOU Order One Of These?

A few hours after the dawn's early light Monday, the state Motor Vehicle Administration will begin issuing a new Maryland license plate — replacing the generic black-and-white version with a design commemorating the War of 1812 and the defense of Fort McHenry.

NO WAY....they are ugly. Are they going to force you to buy one of the others? Bay/farm plates...what if you just want the plain black and white, is that no an option at all anymore?

yes I would buy it

Perhaps it is commemorating our National Athem, The Star Spangled Banner, which was written by Francis Scott Key at Fort McHenry. The words to our National Athem tell it all, and leaves one with a proud feeling.

yes I like the new tag. How much are they going to be.

That has to be quite possibly the UGLIEST plate out of all 50 states.

Nothing that shows "I'm proud to be an American" is ugly, in my opinion. Look at our flag on the tag - that is not ugly,

No, I hate all these decorative plates the originals are much more classic. Of course I would never put a bumper sticker on my car either.

i love the idea of the plate, and definitely respect its meaning and value. with that said, the design is a bit tacky, would be nice if they maybe put a little more effort into how it looks.

Nope not at all.

This is the new "regular" plate. The plain black and white plates are no longer available.

Just watch, now they've introduced a new plate to replace the black and white one. Guess tag fees will be going up shortly!?
They'll use this as an excuse..."they cost more to make because they're multi-colored".
Just wait and watch!

I'll keep my Ag Tags, thank you!

Sure, why not! It has color and that's a good thing.
