Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

Latoya Rochell Strange, 20yoa of Salisbury, MD was charged with 2nd degree Assault (three counts), Disorderly Conduct, Fail to Obey a Lawful Order, Resist Arrest, and MDOP $500.

On April 25, 2010 at approximately 6:00am, officers responded to the 600 block of Lake Street for a reported domestic disturbance between a mother and daughter. On arrival, officers found Strange holding the victim by her hair and forcing the victim’s head down into the kitchen table. As the officers interceded, Strange pushed both officers away. When the officers were able to gain some control over Strange she refused to submit to the arrest. After another brief struggle Strange was brought under control. When Strange was placed in the back seat of a patrol vehicle she began to kick at the window until she damaged it by dislodging the window from the frame. Strange was transported to Central Booking and released. #201000016435

The following subjects were arrested for Shoplifting and charged with Theft $100.

Sara Kate Brandau, 30yoa of Delmar, DE-Theft from Walmart.
Juvenile, 17yoa of Salisbury, MD-Theft from Walmart.
Juvenile, 16yoa of Delmar, DE-Theft from Boscov’s.
Bernard Sheppard, 47yoa of Salisbury, MD-Theft from WaWa.

The adults were released to Central Booking and the Juveniles were released to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Joe, you going to do anything on what happened last night at council with the vets home? Daily Times completely ignored it (big surprise, right).

I don't get shocked by much that the city does any more but even I had to look at my wife with my mouth open.

How does the city of Salisbury always get into these smarmy sounding projects?
