Ocean City Volunteer Fire Co. Auction

Joe,

I'm sure you've heard of the upcoming building project for the new fire station on Keyser Point Road in West Ocean City. Our plan is to build a multi-million dollar station to keep up with the demands and needs of the public. This is a huge undertaking on the part of the volunteers.

Since we are demolishing the old station, we're having an auction on Saturday, May 8th to raise funds for the project. Included will be most items from the station, generators, pumps, garage items, and appliances. We certainly would appreciate any assistance you can provide regarding advertising for this event. The inspection begins at 8 AM, and the auction starts at 10.

Thanks for your help, Joe.

I though Chris Larmore was the fire chief of Ocean City?

Anon 1:24, read ALL of the words. Cropper is the Chief of the Volunteers, Larmore is Chief of everybody, career & volunteer.

The proposed total budget is $2,600,000, multi million is not the 12 million SBY spent.

Oh! OC obviously needs a fishing (opps...fire) boat.

It's the OC bus drivers that deserve a raise.

Al in Fenwick, they are also looking at a fire boat with far more need than Salisbury, a grant is expected for $150,000, again, 20% of wht Salisbury spends.

Just wondering where the apparatus will be moved to since the old building is being torn down first?
