Why A Judiciary Committee Member Said "I'd Be Surprised If Comey Testifies That Trump Pressured Him"

Echoing the thoughts of many who have watched this farce from outside the Beltway, Senator Mike Lee said early Thursday that he would be surprised to hear former FBI Director James Comey testify that President Trump pressed him to end a federal investigation into former national security advisor Michael Flynn.

Speaking on CNN's "New Day", Lee said "that would surprise me" when asked if Comey would testify that Trump pressured him. His reasoning is simple...

"I'm on the Judiciary Committee and just a few weeks ago we had, still Director Comey, come and testify. Someone asked him about political pressure and he said, 'This is something I haven't seen, something in my experience has not occurred.'"

As a reminder, testifying under oath in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on May 3rd, Comey states that he has not been pressured to close an investigation for political purposes, "not in my experience."

Jim Comey is a psychopath so I'd be surprised if he didn't lie to them and say something went down that didn't. If some believe him, they are dumb because he's proven his deceptive nature over and over again. To believe him, you'd have to be insane.

At the base line, this whole Judicial hearing is about one thing. Not doing the business of the people.

JOBS
TAX REFORM
WALL
HEALTHCARE

Any questions?

Watch,Comey will plead the 5th for as many days anyone wants to question him. After all, he's now a "Private Citizen" now, as he claims.

POS.

Isn't it funny how Comey gets fired then all of a sudden he has these memos of conversations? If you want to believe this then you must be dumber than a box of rocks.

And to think when this turn became Director of FBI (U.S.A.), he came highly recommended by many hard core conservatives. I am reminded of praise the good Judge Jeanine had for him, along with many like minded peers. Goes to show how a honest person with integrity will fall or fail, to line their pockets or keep employment.

Actually I think Comey felt Trump would use executive privilege to block his testimony. Since Trump has nothing to hide he opted not to use the privilege. Now, Comey is between a rock and a hard place, as mentioned above he has already testified nothing happened in his experience. Will he lie or plead the 5th?
