Thumbs Up for Ravens Fan Assaulted After Game

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)– A Jessup man critically hurt at Sunday’s Ravens game is showing signs of progress.

Joseph Bauer was pushed to the ground and knocked unconscious during a scuffle with Raider’s fans, leaving him fighting for his life.

For three painful days, the Bauer family has been by Joe’s bedside at shock trauma hoping for a miracle.

The first sign 56-year-old Bauer is still hanging on was the thumbs up he gave doctors.

My prayers are with him and family. I hope they catch the culprits and they are charged with attempted murder.
