Wicomico Recreation, Parks & Tourism Annual Report Released

Salisbury, MD – Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism released its 31st Annual Report this week. The report clearly outlines the successes and challenges of the past fiscal year (2010-2011) as well as next year’s goals for the Department’s four main divisions including recreation, parks, tourism and the civic center.

Wicomico Recreation, Parks, Tourism & Civic Center aims to provide high quality events and programs, to preserve unique natural resources, to acquire, develop and maintain park land and recreation facilities, and to market our community for the purpose of attracting visitors. In striving to accomplish this mission, the department’s divisions work together to achieve success and provide the community with quality events and programs.
